Plan B on catching the cat:  bought large trash can with attached lid.   Put cushion on bottom. Will drop her in and slam lid & roll it into the cat room.

At least she hasn't run off.   I heated up a big bowl of tuna and she's outside eating it now,

So near yet so far!   Decided to grab the cat and put her in a parrot transport cage.     Easily picked her up, but she quickly ran out the door before I could close it.   Heartbroken.   canceled vet appointment, but asked if I could pick up ear drops and possibly better antibiotics than what I'm using.  The tech is to call the vet and get back to me.

Thinking of something to put her in that she can't so quickly get out of.  Considering a trash can & exploring lids.   need an attached one, she'd be too quick if I tried to put on the standard lid.

Very disappointed!   Caught another cat in the trap yesterday evening,  not my Little Flash.   It was a pretty calico;  we quickly saw the trap sprung & released her.

I have until ~8 today to catch her & then I'll have to cancel the vet appointment for the spaying. I am more concerned over infections near and likely in the ear.  Have been treating as best as I can with  topical & powdered antibiotics, but not particularly effective.   She needs a long acting injection.

Progress as of today: 22.8 lbs lost so far, only 3.2 lbs to go!

We also have numerous cats roaming around here......We had to stop feeding the birds because we were making it too easy for the cats to kill and eat them.....and that made us sad. Now our bird feeders stand empty and the cats foot prints show up regularly as they make their daily rounds here......but they look healthy so I suspect someone is likely feeding them.....and possibly owns them. Sampson sits in the window everyday waiting for them to show up....they look at each other and have created a friendship.....I have tried to get some of them to come closer to the house but they run the other way....they apparently aren't looking for a home.

Jacky82020 on 04/22/2021:
I have never had a problem with cats killing birds. And I not only have several feeders, but keep a bowl of seed on the lawn for ground feeding birds. I do have a problem with the squirrels and chipmunks pigging down too much, but oh well. I buy a 40 pd sack of wild bird seed almost every week at the Walmart pickup.

bearcountrygg on 04/22/2021:
Actually we feel just the opposite...we don't mind feeding the squirrels....and the cats...( we fed cats many years ago but no longer do that)they were covered with ticks, lice and fleas).....when I got a tick bite 3 or 4 years ago that still itches to this day.....( I will put a pic of the tick and my bite above if I still have them on the computer)...we really don't like to see any of them killing each other because we were luring them here.

Jacky82020 on 04/22/2021:
No, we feel the same, pretty much. Never meant to say I mind feeding the squirrels. I buy scratch grain & bird seed for them . Just wish they wouldn’t dominate the feeders so much . They have completely taken over a new pricey platform feeder. Have to say they look awfully cute up there.

Trying to copy and insert a link from today’s Washington Post for you. Not luck yet.

Jacky82020 on 04/22/2021:
Hah! think I did it ! See top of my feed.

Jacky82020 on 04/22/2021:
Hah! think I did it ! See top of my feed.

bearcountrygg on 04/22/2021:
I read your link and agree with it completely....it is kind of fun making something out of odds and ends.......doing that has made for some really creative and tasty dishes in the past.

Jacky82020 on 04/22/2021:
Funny how we were just discussing it and I opened my digital newspaper as usual & there it was!

bearcountrygg on 04/22/2021:
Jacky...I owe you an apology,...I thought you meant that you didn't mind cats eating the birds...Now rereading it I think you meant they weren't eating the birds.....I think I read it wrong......and you meant that the cats there don't do that.

Jacky82020 on 04/22/2021:
Yes, that’s what I meant but maybe I didn’t say it so good. Never had a problem with cats eating birds. Of course, inside the house, the cats have their own room and so do the birds. The dogs have free run of the house, excluding the Cat and Bird Rooms. They also have a big fenced in yard.

bearcountrygg on 04/22/2021:
That is funny that the article showed up at just that time...LOL

Jacky82020 on 04/22/2021:
I know! Hilarious!

bearcountrygg on 04/22/2021:
She sounds so scared.......maybe a dog/cat carrier?

Jacky82020 on 04/22/2021:
I do have both dog and cat carriers, but problem would be her getting out before I could secure the openings. I think she needs to be dropped into something deeper that she can’t so easily escape. I am at my wits end here!

Not getting much good advice online. Most having better luck than me with the live traps. Much horrible stuff like ppl rounding up dozens and killing them, so I can’t look online anymore.

horn_of_plenty on 04/22/2021:
yum yum, glad the new kitty is eating well!

I would look at the tips for the frdige/freezer tomorrow!

Did you find the missing file? I constantly misplace stuff.

horn_of_plenty on 04/22/2021:
Thank gosh i found that hard copy file....i seriously thought that the old bag took it...thankfully, NOT, and i had just misplaced it.

Jacky82020 on 04/22/2021:
You have to keep an eye on that Old Bag! But likely she’s harmless and will come to appreciate you more and more

Maria7 on 04/22/2021:
Is Flash the pretty grey cat in the recent photo?

Jacky82020 on 04/22/2021:
No, Flash is black with white flashing on her chest, not a lot. That’s a cat that visits once in a while. Probably belongs to a neighbor. she’s a Marbled Tabby. Those tabbies can get fancier than I ever knew.

Maria7 on 04/23/2021:
Hope you are having a good day.

Donkey on 04/24/2021:
I say keep trying with your Little Flash. It's a worth endeavor, and your patience WILL pay off. The reward will be sweet. (<<ha ha, almost typed "sweat", LOL. Well, with the "sweat" will come the "sweet".)

horn_of_plenty on 04/25/2021:
Yes , Steve is def one of InnerP’s dogs! I am not sure if Rocco is the other but you are prob right ;) cuteness

So did you catch the cat

Doing 30K combo steps/bike peddles.   Trying to pick up pace, all too easy to become distracted and slowdown on the bikes.

It's April & I get another bar.   Soon, no regrets over deleting all August & September entries.

Shocked to see snow this morning!   Was 74 Tuesday.

Progress as of today: 21.8 lbs lost so far, only 7.2 lbs to go!

Donkey on 04/01/2021:
Oh my word! Beautiful photo but geez, it's April already!!! Is this an April Fool's joke?

Rather than deleting ALL entries from a past month, are you leaving 1 post up so that you will have a bar (on the graph) for that month? I guess not?

Jacky82020 on 04/01/2021:
No joke! We’ve had White Easters, including ones that came later than 4/4.

It only takes one entry to leave the bar up, however that entry can be a distortion of the monthly average since it’s a single data point. Doesn’t much matter to me. Just been too lazy/busy to delete more.

Maria7 on 04/01/2021:
Wow! Snow! Looks pretty! Hope you have been having a good day.

Jacky82020 on 04/01/2021:
It is! And quite a lovely surprise! We’ve had white Easters and white Halloweens here

Maria7 on 04/02/2021:
Hope you are having a blessed day and enjoying your pretty snow up there. It is a cold day here, was 32F degrees this morning! Take care.

horn_of_plenty on 04/02/2021:
that photo is frame-worthy! i love it!

photo reminds me of Bear's photos of her country road she sometimes posts photos of!

we were possibly going to get snow, but sooooo glad we did not!

Jacky82020 on 04/02/2021:
Still cold here. No more snow, but too cold for yesterday’s to melt.

InnerPeace often posts lovely pics too. Wish she’d post more of her dogs! Absolutely adorable!!! Think she calls them Rocco & Steve.

Also Annie! Spectacular views of the loch by her house. Miss her.

Asked the husband if he enjoyed working out and he said: HELL NO!   lol.   Feel the same way. And even more so about CR and IF.   Sucks!   But we want to be fit & healthy & there's a price to pay.

The EBay seller opened a case against me re the USB heatable insoles.   He provided a prepaid address label which I couldn't print because my HP Printer croaked.   Replaced it with a nice Brother printer.  The seller gave me until 3/7 to them & told me to take it to the PO & they will print the label for me.   Never heard of that & didn't want to go here.   Way cross town & long line.   So was going to return ASAP, but received the case notice from eBay.   They automatically decided in the seller's favor.   All I could do was post a nasty review:  SELLER SELLS GARBAGE!  IN THE TRASH WHERE THEY BELONG!!!

Progress as of today: 22 lbs lost so far, only 1.5 lbs to go!

bearcountrygg on 03/15/2021:
I do not enjoy exercise either!!! If I don't make it a point to do it...I just won't. That's a bummer about the heated insoles.......I used to sell a lot on ebay.....it usually went well...there were a few glitches...the main one was when a person from Europe hijacked my account, listed a bunch of TV's on it and sent out 2 small tests on my Paypal account...luckily Ebay was right on it and notified me quickly....I was waiting at the bank when they opened that day and shut down my credit card and checking account.....they only got about $12...so I was lucky...but I admit..it scared me. No more Paypal for me now....and I haven't actually bought anything there or sold in years......I used to basically keep busy all day with it 4 or 5 days a week.....fun while it lasted......I used to go to the post office with a cart full of packages several times a week......I can imagine it is even easier to do these days....now...I didn't have a cell phone then....BUT.....if they didn't work it was true they belonged in the trash.....

Jacky82020 on 03/15/2021:
Wow! That must have been super scary! Great eBay caught it.

I still do PayPal. Easy to get reimbursed if something happens. Amazon is good too. I could possibly open a PayPal case re the bad insoles. But not worth the $10.

legcramps on 03/15/2021:
I enjoy activity, but maybe that's because most of it is done outside and not stuck in a gym on boring machines all the time. I guess that's the difference between exercise and activity, so yeah, maybe I don't enjoy exercise either LOL.

Jacky82020 on 03/15/2021:
I’ll have to ask if he enjoyed running more outside when we lived in California. Been inside on the treadmill & elliptical since than. We did like playing tennis & racquetball. But that kinda sucked for me as he always was so much better and had to play down to me. Sure he preferred it with others, especially beating much younger guys who thought they were all that. LOL

Maria7 on 03/15/2021:
Hubby and I do good to take a walk in the neighborhood. That is our workout. Smile. Have a good day.

Jacky82020 on 03/15/2021:
Walking in a pretty place is awesome. We hiked in the beautiful state & national parks in California. None so nice around here.

bearcountrygg on 03/15/2021:
Funny how he is better at racquetball and tennis....we are like that with Monopoly ( D always wins)...and scrabble.( I always win)....so now he won't play scrabble with me...but I still play monopoly with him and I'm determined to beat him sometime!!!!...It might just take forever.

Jacky82020 on 03/15/2021:
Keep on playing and you’re bound to win someday! Did you know they make hundreds of monopoly games, like with beagles, cats etc. Think one can even order custom ones.

Donkey on 03/16/2021:
IDK I think I do enjoy exercise. It sure is a lot easier for me to exercise than it is to diet.

That unpleasantness with Ebay -- nobody needs that kind of **** in their lives. WTF...

Jacky82020 on 03/16/2021:
Possibly enjoyment of exercise may depend upon how hard one pushes oneself. You’ve seen our gym. It is what they call professional grade. His workouts are 2 hours & strenuous.

Also he goes long & very fast on the treadmill & elliptical. Of course all depends upon the individual, but I’m with Matt.

Horn_of_plenty on 03/16/2021:
i cannot do the CR or IF for those reasons....too restritive and difficult...also messes with my stress so much that it derails me...and it causes me to overindulge.

then again, if it were easy, everyone would do it...

for me, exercise is easier than any other challenge...

today i let mysellf get away with indulging, somehow the calories got away from me..

lol, sorry about the commotion with the ebay seller. eh, things happen. glad it wasn't over a large, expensive purchase.

Jacky82020 on 03/16/2021:
If it were a big purchase, you guys would be seeing me on Dateline LOL

FOR ANNIE!

Wore the new K95's.   Excellent fit.   Now I'm wondering if I sew two elastic headbands on the KN95's if they would fit just as well.   Seems a simple enough thing to do.  May try even though I have 20 K95's.

First covid  vaccine went smoothly. Quicker than my typical PCP appointment.  About 1/3 young people of varying ages & rest over 65.   apparently hospital modified the over 75 (& underlying condition) policy first: I saw very few over 75.   Many young college looking kids with pink & blue hair.
Had to park on upper level & only hassle was many flights of stairs, refused to use the elevator.   Knee pain continues on stairs & I have to hobble like I'm 105 yrs old.

They used Phizer & we are to return on 3/19/21.   Stopped at Burger King on the way back. Coupon for 2 Whopper Jr's, 2 small fries & 2 Coke's for $5.   Between the two of us, only ate one of the fries.   May reheat with the husband's leftover meatloaf tonight.

Weight creeping up & I could care less.   Will hit the panic button at 115.   115 Not as low as if sounds, given I'm only 3 inches from the official dwarf disability cutoff.

Progress as of today: 21 lbs lost so far, only 3 lbs to go!

horn_of_plenty on 02/26/2021:
stairs bother me sometimes in the early mornings when i first use them heading down to the subway! LOL

let me tell you, reheating fast food fried food...works! love doing it. tonight i just realized i have fries leftover...i could have them...but i'm intent to order thai....but now that i'm thinking of the fries, i may change my mind tonight and just have them! we'll see!

you could work at moderation of weight around 113-115 and try working to keep it within there. or like, 113-117 wiggle room of a few lbs to go up and down.

Jacky82020 on 02/26/2021:
Stair issues from hamstring muscle tear all the way back in October. Slooooowly improving

Good to know they can be reheated. I won’t be touching them. It’ll be cabbage, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini & squash.

Thanks!!!

BK - yummmmmm

Donkey on 02/27/2021:
I have been experiencing cravings for a Big Mac (not BK, I know), and they come and go, so, so far, I haven't indulged in those cravings. However, BK is my preferred fast food burger.

Weight: 112.6

We got stuck in the driveway & now poor Matt is shoveling away.   I did call the guy who does this private road we live on & asked him to do our drive, but he hasn't made it by yet.  Silver lining is Burger King is now open & I have a $5 coupon for 2 little bacon cheeseburgers, 1 fry &  1 drink.

Saw a terrific article in the NYT a few days ago on how to order authentic N95's.   Ordered and should arrive soon.   Yay!

Today's a gym day, weights.

Progress as of today: 21.4 lbs lost so far, only 2.6 lbs to go!

grannyannie on 02/19/2021:
Yum, burger and fries. Over a year since I had that!

Jacky82020 on 02/19/2021:
Yep! I only get these tiny servings. Think that burger is no more than 400, tops. Fries small too & I’ll share. They had many coupons for bigger servings, but I was good & tossed them.

grannyannie on 02/19/2021:
I'm having a cheeseburger and homemade fries for my birthday dinner in a week!

Jacky82020 on 02/19/2021:
Sounds marvelous! Sure it will be infinitely better than what I just had.

horn_of_plenty on 02/19/2021:
sounds great about BK. i had bk nuggets a few weeks ago...hated them!

but their fries did win me over.

Jacky82020 on 02/19/2021:
It was great! Coupon $4, not $5. Two little bacon cheeseburgers, 1 fry, 1 Diet Coke. Will check calories later on that burger. In the past I would have supplemented meal with their onion rings, but no overdoing it today or not until at least sunset.

bearcountrygg on 02/19/2021:
I've been craving a hamburger lately....your lunch sounds so good.

Jacky82020 on 02/19/2021:
BK is the best fast food place on sending coupons. Do you get them and do you have a BK nearby?

Donkey on 02/19/2021:
The Boss went to BK today and offered to buy anyone an Impossible Burger who wanted one. (Or anything else they wanted.) I brought my frozen chili, which was already in the process of defrosting and had to get eaten. So I took a pass, but between you and me, not just because of the chili.

Jacky82020 on 02/19/2021:
Gotcha

Never tried the Impossible Burger. Hear it tastes like the real thing. Too bad it’s hi in calories. Guess that’s what makes it taste good!

Donkey on 02/19/2021:
Ha ha, love the comic!!!

Jacky82020 on 02/19/2021:
That’s me & HoP lol

bearcountrygg on 02/20/2021:
Nope...no BK's around here.....my cousin and her husband used to own several Burger Kings...Michigan upper peninsula and some in Wisconsin......but We only have McDonalds here. I should just make hamburgers myself...LOL

Jacky82020 on 02/20/2021:
You should! I made some a few weeks ago, used the preformed ones Walmart has in the fresh meat dept, day old, marked down. Think these were the kind with chopped cheddar cheese. Yum!

thinkpositive on 02/20/2021:
I’ve been using a N95 that I was given and am wondering how long I can wear the same mask??

Jacky82020 on 02/20/2021:
Good question. I googled & didn’t find a precise answer. Most hits pertained to medical personnel with high exposure. Said wear 8 hours and decontaminate with UV light, vaporized H2O2 etc.

For occasional use, some are saying rotate the masks every 5 days if worn daily. This limits stretching the bands. I know I am have a terrible time getting a proper fit with the KN95 & would rotate, but I don’t leave home on a daily basis.

Some also say rotating will allow sufficient time for any contamination to die off.

Given my limited mask use, I plan to wear the same one for ages. I did have to order 20 & will give some to friends/family.

Let me know if you find anything interesting!

that didn't work.   will try again.

Gym pics.

Here is an interesting covid vaccine story.   A friend's mother fell and broke her shoulder.   The friiend is going over everyday to help these elderly parents, I think 70 & 75.  The mother called in   a visiting nurse.   And a PT.   My friend became extremely concerned they would expose her parents to covid & spent hours trying to get them appointments. Finally she phoned the Rite Aide pharmacist, weeping hysterically.   He said: Fine,  bring them in at 11AM tomorrow.   She did and all went well!   She is too young to get one for herself now.   This is in NY.

Sore from workout yesterday, but a good sore.  Plan is to do the gym every other day, like the husband.   He spends less time on the legs, says he gets enough from running & the elliptical.  I don't run, merely walk fast when I tread.   He has always ran like a fiend from hell is chasing him.   Allows him to pig out on giant desserts & not gain an ounce.  A$$hole.

Progress as of today: 22.8 lbs lost so far, only 3.2 lbs to go!

Salamander on 02/08/2021:
Jacky, do you belong to a gym? We put our memberships on hold.

Jacky82020 on 02/08/2021:
No, not for ages, not since college. The husband is really into fitness & has had quite the home gym for like 25 years, if not longer. He took some pics for me last week for a friend & I will post some here.

horn_of_plenty on 02/08/2021:
lucky she got the shot for her parents!

great gym pics. you are seriously SET! :)

Jacky82020 on 02/08/2021:
Yeah, that pharmacist sounds like a terrific dude.

Give the gym a whirl every 5 years or so. Damn husband never lets up. A$$hole. lol.

Salamander on 02/08/2021:
You have a very impressive gym. My boyfriend is building an addition for a home gym. I am giving serious thought to moving in when it’s completed, something we’ve discussed for ages. Too much construction noise now and workers around the property.

Jacky82020 on 02/08/2021:
Wow! We built an addition onto the Southern California house for the gym. Long narrow lot, so it worked out well. I acted as GC and hired all the subs. Even drew up the blueprints. The guys at the city permit office were extremely helpful and corrected all my stupid mistakes.

So proud when the gym was done until they reassessed the property and sent a big tax bill. Hired a lawyer and appealed. They did lower it some, but made me understand why the neighbors built without permits.

Horn_of_plenty on 02/08/2021:
gurl, i just saw your entry below...take it easy...you donn't have to work EVERY SINGLE MUSCLE you have in one session!!!!

maybe start with tops 6 exercises, repeated with 3 sets each!?

Jacky82020 on 02/08/2021:
It’s only every other day, so the upper/lower split is really once every 3-4 days. Nothing else to do! Getting bored as hell in this house 24/7. Could never do it if I worked outside the house like you.

Enjoy listening to some albums I haven’t heard for a while downstairs

Salamander on 02/08/2021:

Weight: 110.6

Dinner!  1 whole carton of Egg Beaters, 3 cups cooked spinach and 8 chopped up chedder slices, topped with tonion & garlic powder.   Not sure how many calories.   enough for 2 days for both or us.)

Well guess that fat squirrel had his fill.   jays, chickadees and cardinals at the new platform feeder.   hard to focus and get a decent pic holding this iPad up to the window.en

Set out a platform feeder for the cardinals and guess who took over?

Focusing on weight training now and asked the husband to be my personal trainer.   this is his upper body routine.   I barely got halfway through yesterday.   Much good soreness

Flat bench press:            Compound, pecs & triceps

Crunches:                         Abs

Machine Fly:                   Isolation pecs

Hand grippers:                Isolation, forearm

Cable Fly:                         Isolation, pecs

Cable pull-down:             Compound, lats & biceps

Cable push-down:           Isolation triceps

Flat bench press, set 2:

Machine preacher curl:  Isolation, biceps

Kickback:                          Isolation, triceps

Finish preacher curls:

Decline bench press:      Compound, lower pecs & triceps

Dyna Bee (Gyro):            Isolation, forearms

Barbell curl:                     Isolation, biceps

Incline sit-ups:                 Abs

Decline bench press, set 2:

Cable row:                       Compound, Lats & Biceps

Incline bench press:        Compound, upper pecs & triceps, maybe some delts

Concentration curl:        Isolation, biceps

Machine arm extension: Isolation, triceps

Machine Fly, set 2:

Cable pull-down (different bar): Compound, lats & biceps

Spin Cycle, 10 min.

Sets are typically 7 or 8 reps; exception is the crunches:  That works out to be 8 reps each of type 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3c, for 48 total.

Weight is set so that I cannot typically do another rep after the last in the set.

Progress as of today: 23.4 lbs lost so far, only 2.6 lbs to go!

grannyannie on 01/31/2021:
Good plan!

Jacky82020 on 01/31/2021:
If i stick with it! A shame not to take advantage of that gym downstairs.

Donkey on 01/31/2021:
I have that problem with squirrels too. Fortunately for me, I enjoy watching them too. We have several nests in our trees.

That's quite an impressive upper body workout. I am not nearly that diversified or dedicated. I lose interest after the 3rd exercise or so, so I try to do 3 sets of 1 exercise per body part (chest, back, triceps, biceps).

I tend to gain weight on the scale when I weight train.

Jacky82020 on 01/31/2021:
The husband has been really into it for a good 25 years. I am wondering if I will add any muscle poundage and if so, fat loss will compensate

grannyannie on 01/31/2021:
We have red squirrels that get into all our bird feeders.

Jacky82020 on 01/31/2021:
Lots of reds and greys here. Love the occasional black eastern grey. Very striking.

horn_of_plenty on 02/01/2021:
I think tomorrow at work I’ll read thru your hubby’s routine in closer detail :)

Your egg recipe turned out great! Thanks for reminding me I should make some egg muffins with fillings to bring dor breakfast to work whenever I decide to break free from my carb kick !

horn_of_plenty on 02/01/2021:
I meant to call it an egg casserole!

Jacky82020 on 02/01/2021:
They call that egg thing a frittata. Baked this one in the oven. Very simple to toss together. Wish I had a can of chopped tomatoes. You can add any veggies you want. It’s like a quiche minus all the heavy cream. Much better.

My lovely egg cooker!

Appears I deleted today's post right now, inadvertently.

Progress as of today: 23.4 lbs lost so far, only 0.6 lbs to go!

legcramps on 01/28/2021:
Probably spam. Congrats on the loss!

Jacky82020 on 01/28/2021:
Thanks!

Yeah, had to be, but I don’t see how someone can get that DD email To me that looks exactly like all the others without having their name on the forum. Not like this place is worth hacking.

KathyBlue on 01/28/2021:
Congrats on the loss! :) Yes, I reported that guy as a spammer and the webmaster must have already taken action and removed his spamming a$$ from here :)

Jacky82020 on 01/28/2021:
Thanks, I am into disease reduction via calorie restriction more than weight loss, but two tightly linked.

Did you get the same email saying Faruque posted? Weird!

Donkey on 01/28/2021:
I love frozen bananas! Frozen pineapple and mango is good too. Have you frozen red grapes? those are so delightful!

Whoa, way to go on the weight drop! Do you think that just eating less was the cause? I have a theory that eating frozen foods, like the bananas, requires a little more calories to burn because the body has to spend energy to keep you warm after eating something really cold.

Well, it's still a victory on the scale, so good for you!

Jacky82020 on 01/28/2021:
Well, only had 1/2 of a frozen banana so far, so couldn’t say if it contributed to weight loss. Would be nice! We shallmsee! I will try freezing grapes, nice bite size little things. Thanks for the suggestion!

Maria7 on 01/28/2021:
What a cute eggs photo!

Jacky82020 on 01/28/2021:
Thanks, love the color. Matches my stove, fridge & dishwasher.

grannyannie on 01/28/2021:
Well done on the loss!

Jacky82020 on 01/28/2021:
Thanks! A profound dislike of cooking has its advantages. I’m ok with the same old things everyday.

The frozen banana slices with sugar free chocolate syrup were really good! Weighed the banana. 116 gms, so just over 100 calories. Beats the M&M tube at 180 and the goat cheese low carb tortillas. Think I will rotate among the 3. Need a nighttime dessert!

Horn_of_plenty on 01/28/2021:
i do remember that egg cooker. those 3 nighttime snacks are a good mix. i like mixing things up too...i get bored always eating the same thing!

Jacky82020 on 01/28/2021:
Yep, good to change the desserts. I am starving right now and dying to get my hands on that banana.

Horn_of_plenty on 01/28/2021:
Legs is in Canada.

Jacky82020 on 01/28/2021:
Ok. But lost track of the convo & don’t know why you’re mentioning this.

Doing soy protein powder mix for change today.  marvelous flavors and great texture, very thick and rich when mixed with water in the blender.   used chocolate mocha today, had a cup cold and another hot.  100 cal per serving, 27 gms protein.

Just accidentally deleted all of my January posts and lost my precious bar graph!!!

this single entry should restore it.

Progress as of today: 20.8 lbs lost so far, only 3.2 lbs to go!

Jacky82020 on 01/26/2021:
It did! So only takes one

horn_of_plenty on 01/26/2021:
so techy.

Jacky82020 on 01/26/2021:
lol Having fun! Still pissed I deleted my august and September bars. Will likely never have the motivation again to lose at that rate unless I pork up again which ain’t happening

coffee&calories on 01/26/2021:
Have you lost weight!? I sooo want to be where you are :-)

Jacky82020 on 01/26/2021:

Need to say this a few more times. Hate these multiple posts.

coffee&calories on 01/26/2021:
That’s amaZing! Great job! I see it says CR. Is that calorie restriction (cron?). If so, I read a book and was super interested in it, did it for a little while and fell off. Still want to do it though.. you

Jacky82020 on 01/26/2021:
Yep, that’s what it is. I stumbled across an ebook at the library called The Switch that reminded me of the calorie restriction research. I am far more interested in disease risk (cancer, CVS etc) than weight loss at this point, but dropping the 20+ is good! Terrific book that sums up all the research.

coffee&calories on 01/26/2021:
I’ll look it up! Thanks!
