It was an unusual day but ok. Had to go back to work for an evening meeting, so meals were a little backwards.

B: 1/3 c oatmeal, 1 small glass of light juice, 1cup of coffee

L: Salad with blackened grilled chicken, unsweetened ice tea

S: 2 oz Polly-O cheese

D: Will have a fruit snack when I get home from the meeting

Exercise: did not have time to walk

Notes: need to increase exercise and drink more water

Looking forward to the weekend and stealing some hugs from my new grandson

Progress as of today: 0 lbs lost so far, only 18 lbs to go!

OK, so how are you going to increase your water intake? I find that every time I go to the bathroom I drink a glass of water and that sets up a routine for the day and I get through my required water easily. Maybe that is something you could do! You sound as if you are soon going to have plenty of babies to snuggle into. How wonderful! Plus you have many years of watching them grow and helping to become well loved beautiful people. Thank you for your comment, I love being a grandmother, the best job in the world! :)

Oops! Wrote my blog in the wrong section. Still getting used to this site.

Thank you to all members that commented on my blog. I find it very motivating. I plan to pay it back and post comments also. For the members that inquired - my daughter is scheduled to have her twin boys on Oct. 3rd. These boys are not my first grandchild. My first grandson was born 2 weeks ago to my son and daughter-in-law. I think I will be busy. Thus, the reason to lose weight and stay healthy

Good day

B: 1/3 c oatmeal, 1 small glas of light juice

L: Salad with 3 oz tuna, 1 sugar-free jello, 1 plum

S: Protein bar

D: Small salad, cauliflower, salmon, 1 small glass wine

Exercise: walked a brisk mile

Notes: drank more water today; will need to go to bed early because I am very hungry; plan to read other's blogs and write some comments; have a good day tomorrow All

Not long to wait for those babies then! Exciting! I write this with my youngest grandaughter snuggled under a blanket next to me. I live with my daughter and her four children, I call them the big boys (12 &11), the princess (5) and the angel (3), my son also has two sons, one who is 7 and a baby who will be 1 in a couple of weeks. I love being a nana, it is worth having the children just to get the grandchildren!! LOL Another nice day there JoMama. How many calories are you taking in? Just from looking I would say that you could increase your intake and have a snack at night. Sooner or later the body gets what it wants, how it does it is up to you. I would be going for at least 1200 in order to stay healthy and lose weight and stick with it. You will probably notice on other peoples blogs that most aim for between 1200 -1500 and lose weight steadily. Hope that helps with the nightime hunger:)

Had a very good first day. Just reading other diaries helped to keep me motivated. Thank you!!

Exercise: walked 1/2 mile at lunch time, heavy houswork (helping my daughter - she is expecting twins anyway)

Need to improve: need to drink more water
