Yesterday was rough! Work was so extremely busy that every time I turned around at the facility I manage I was needed! Needless to say when it was time for me to eat I made some unhealthy fast food choices. Today better and I did make it to the gym!

Progress as of today: 3 lbs lost so far, only 30 lbs to go!

If you are making unhealthy choices on the way home...you can also order healthier options with those not so healthy options from the same restaurants....try to mix some healthy and eat the unhealthy only after you eat the majority of your healthy ones first.

I know how fast food is. We have made it our goal not to eat fast food, it is killing us.

Air fried chicken. I bought my husband an air fryer for Christmas and we just put the seasoned chicken breast in the basket and turn on the air fryer. It brown the chicken nicely and it tastes very good without all the grease and oil. The down side, we can only do one large breast at a time or two small pieces, but it is worth not cooking in oil. I think it uses convection air/heat, but I can't be sure. It has been an excellent purchase.

I can no longer afford fast food, but I know for a while, we were eating take-out at least once a week, sometimes more.

Have not been on the scale since Friday weighed in today and down 3 pounds. This weekend I made it to the gym a couple times and I have been trying to limit my carbs to 1 carb per day. Geesh...do I crave pizza and chips lol. I did prep food this weekend for the week salads, grilled chicken, ground beef to make taco salads. Prepping food really helps me because I am a convenience eater. I stayed on track with my meal plans but I did not make it to the gym today work was extremely busy!

Progress as of today: 3 lbs lost so far, only 30 lbs to go!

maybe you do need carbs...or maybe you are tired? or maybe add some salt to your veggies or cooked veggies for that matter...to satisfy the salt craving.

Thanks for the suggestion! The only veggies I really like are salads! I have got to explore with them and fine more I like!

Hello Everyone,

My weight loss journey and struggles have always been private so going public with it is a huge step for me. I started this journey years ago and lost 30 pounds I then became pregnant with my first and only child and gained all my weight back plus some. My son will be 5 this month...wow how time fly's.I have been so dedicated to being a Mommy and working I don't even know how I'm going to make this lifestyle change work without feeling like I'm taking time from being a mother and running a company. Crazy part about it all is I have always had high self-esteem and I demand attention immediately when I enter a room if I do have to say so myself lol..and for that reason ppl assume I do not struggle with weight loss. But I know this will require sacrifices and I'm ready, I look forward to this new journey with you all, happy 2017!!!!
