 Dear diary. My weigh in yesterday was the same as last week. 270 lb. I quit eating the junk and am overcompensating on the good stuff I guess. I'm really struggling to find the time to post here I'm trying to do it on Mondays. Still drinking two bottles of water every day. Have been doing a lot of Warehouse walking instead of the treadmill.  I'm waiting for some warmer weather to do some work around the house. Hope everyone has a healthy day!

I know it's a type in your entry (270), but it made me flash back to about a year and a half ago when I did actually weigh that much (283 max April 2017).

So many things affect the scale number (water, salt, bulk fiber, time of day, etc). Stay on track until next week's weigh-in and I'm sure a decent dip in the number will occur.

Sounds like you're doing well, even if the scale isn't showing it. Be patient - your hard work will pay off if you stick with it.

Despite you feeling like you are struggling, you are doing great !!!! No gain ! And sometimes it takes a little bit of time to undo the weight gain :-)

 Good morning. My weigh-in is every Monday morning. So I lost 3 lb. I'm sorry I haven't answered sooner. I've just been too busy at work. My mornings anyway. so far in the treadmill I think I've got two tenths of a mile each day. And then I get busy. The ice cream I make is in a bullet blender, with one cup of 30 calorie almond milk two packs of stevia and two heaping spoonfuls of cocoa powder.After it's blended good I put an eighth of a cup of dry roasted peanuts into my Whopper chopper. I break them down just a little bit then I had them to the ice cream. it's really good. It comes out kind of like a milkshake I guess and I think freezing it again would probably be pretty good.

Graindart every time I get over 200 lb I start to freak out.

I found my sauerkraut over the weekend and got two bags of it in a slow cooker and added some imitation bacon bits it's really good. We had a carrying at church yesterday and I BackSlid a little bit but not too much.

I'm hoping to get all my treadmill more this week.

the milkshake / ice ream sounds very nice. good mix. you know stevia is the best ever, makes everything nice and sweet :-)

Relieved to see you post today. I was fearing you fell into the trap of tripping up the first week and deciding to give it another try next January 1st.....

Good job on the loss. Should be back in the 190's pretty quickly.

 Morning, I drank 2 bottles of H2O. (A big deal for me ) salads, carrot sticks, peanuts and Popcorn. Dinner at Wendy's was a salad too. Fnished the night with ice cream. Which was blended Ice, Almond milk, stevia and cocoa powder. Have a great day.

100 calorie bags of popcorn have been my go-to snack for the past year or so. Rarely go a day without having a bag or two.

What consistency did the ice cream become? Like DQ soft-serve or more like a thin milkshake?

yeah, tell us more about this ice cream. because it sounds so easy to make that it may be cool to make in a blender then freeze or something for a little bit before eating!? it just sounds good....and i feel dumb to never have considered it so easy to make with only 4 ingredients.

So how difficult have the first few days been to try to get back on-track? I've had very few successful long-term diets and a boatload of new attempts over the years. Unfortunately when I've stumbled in the first few days before, I've often just given up instead of limiting the screwup to only a day or two and getting right back at it......

So looking at your past entries over the years, looks like you spent a good amount of time in the weighing 170 - 190. Any certain weight range that felt best for you? Or did you get to any weight that just felt too thin?

 Howdy, yep, I'm still in the warehouse and put a treadmill in my work trailer. Still playing music. Bought lots of Salad material for both home and work. Looking to buy a couple bags of Sauerkraut for the slow cooker. Where's Puddy ?

I'm glad you are still playing music and eating Sauerkraut! I have a slow cooker too, now, that i just love! it def makes the best tasting meets! soft and succulent! am i right!?

lately i'm loving my cabbage too...usually slow cooked!

Yes, the main dish. I add ground turkey to 2 bags of drained, rinsed sauerkraut and slow cook it to make the cabbage really tender. Kinda like spaghetti.

GoodMorning, Gang. My diet has been doing good but not great. Im still playing a lot of Frisbee golf around the Dayton area. Still playing lots of music. Still chasing pretty girls. I've got 6 chickens again for my morning eggs. I had to get off the CheeseDoodle Wagon again. Its like a monkey on my back. Im playing with the stock market when I have free time. I havent weighed myself since my last entry but really I've been eating responsibly and my doctor wishes he was in as good a shape. I gave him the FrisbeeGolf website. I really do miss you guys and, Have a Healthy Day. Raven.

Honestly, I was def missing you as our only DD male voice here. I missed you and your posts & knowing what goes on in the life of a warehouse ohio guy who likes to play music and Frisbee!

LOL….glad to hear you are chasing pretty girls. I love to hear some “romance” from the male perspective. Lately my romance is quite bare or actually I should say non-existent. I have actually been hanging out time to time with these two men which is really one right now because the other is not as interesting! Both are from work originally but I don’t work with them in my department at all. They are both too old for me, lol – one is 60 and the other 56. It’s the 56 year old that I am hanging with still. He would like to be more “romantic” with me in terms of his interests – but I have mentioned to him that in public we can enjoy ourselves but that I cannot do more than this.

Good thing with this 56 year old is that he actually looks 10 yrs younger thankfully. He has energy of someone younger than me. He loves going out & doing things and that’s the reason I hang with him so much….we get along, enjoy each other’s company & he shows me lots of cool places and sites! Lucky me.

I enjoy the friendship with this 56 year old. Yes, I have hooked up with him in the past but i am not sexually attracted so i don't plan to do it again. And yes in public we sometimes do weird things like hold hands or sit on a bench the other day and I put my legs over his….but we aren’t dating, just enjoying life….

That’s so cool you are eating fresh chicken eggs. That’s awesome OR. Def not a Queens, NY thing.

OR, have the faith you can break any old habit. It’s just a challenge. I have my woes too. My challenges also. You got this. We at DD, especially now speaking of myself, will support you no matter how many times you get off….hopefully this is it though!!!! LOL!

Wow so your dr wishes he was in your shape!? That’s freaking awesome OR. Please update us whenever you have the chance because as our community is so small and tight-knit….you were missed as being a part of this group! Have a healthy day and keep doing all the great things.

I don’t weigh myself very often anymore because as long as my clothes fit, I am usually feeling OK.

Dear Diary, this week I played lots of frisbee and played a tournament where I came in 10th in my division. I really thought I would have done better. Really good players out there. i love the darn fried chalupa dough / outside bread part...so addicting. luckily, where i live, there happens to be a lack of Taco Bells (only Subways - and they also have a nice flatbread that i like!)...haha.

i'm so happy you are playing the good music! that is so wonderful! my hat goes off to musicians, i am one -but not active - i still consider myself a musician as i have a love for all music, although i do not play it myself anymore (French horn).

I'm glad you are doing well. I'm in maintenance and doing great. Sometimes weight creeps up but it seems maintenance is quite nice - all i have to do is eat a lil less when i am on a gain...and then just be mindful. getting used to what i need to do to maintain...but also trying to be healthier with my choices.

Keep up the good work. As you work to maintain a weight, it does get easier once you enjoy making the better choices, which i do know you make. I know you like and eat veggies more than you used to...right?
