Bananna, applesauce, jello, popcorn, grapes, potato, chili, more popcorn. Water was low. Dr said Upper Respiratory Infection. Got antibiotic pills. Feeling much better today. He also said he'd Like to see me lose 10 Lbs Ha-ha.Sorry I haven't responded to everyone's posts. I've just felt real crappy lately.

Progress as of today: 4 lbs lost so far, only 21 lbs to go!

I'm glad the antibiotics are making you feel better...a lingering cold can just weigh you down!

As for the weight, loss comment...did you tell him that you're making a daily effort to do just that! You've been on here for awhile...I think you're doing great, consistently putting in the effort!

Hope the crappy feeling improves! You'll lose the weight if you keep putting in the effort. BTW, do you get your vit D level checked? Perhaps that's a consideration.

Seeing you mention that you don't normally get sick in another entry and the link to vit D and immunity (among other things) might be part of what's going on.

Good luck at the dr Ohio! I have been meaning to make more comments on your entires and to thank you for your continued support on mine! Even though I post mainly for myself to hold myself accountable, the comments are the motivation, inspiration and source of feedback that goes a long way to helping myself and others on here be successful! Is it a regular checkup? I hope it goes well. When u write bread, what kinda bread? With me, I don't buy white bread. Mostly I just buy wraps that are generally low in carbs. Once in awhile I may buy a wheat or other low carb type roll or pita. But generally, just the wraps. Sometimes I also splurge on chips - but once again they are a step up from a regular potato chip as they may have some extra Dover or protein or just be air popped so have less calories and I can eat s but more of them.

When u say spaghetti, what type? U can buy a whole grain or low carb type. If u want, u can mix it with regular to have a bit of both at first. I eat something called shirataki noodles. They smell bad from the liquid they are in, but, I rinse them and microwave them for 1.5 minutes till hot. Drain them again. They can be added to any dish with a sauce. There must be sauce because they are quite bland and even I couldn't eat them on their own! These noodles have around 30 cal per 2 servings compared with 400 cals for pasta.

Thanks, Puddy. I think the loss is from watery eyes, runny nose and coughing up flem. The Dr is a 6 month semi annual. I hope I can get some relief. You are doing very well on your adventure here. I am very proud of you.

2 sausage egg biscuits, bananna, snack wrap, 1/3 order Chinese broccoli chicken, (white) rice, 3 crab ragoons. A little popcorn, 2 chili dogs no buns, CottageCheesePineappleCinnamon, water was good. Cold is much better. I did the Monster Mash.

Hi Ohio! I hope you are fully better soon! I read you had sweet potato a few entries ago, that is sooo healthy. nice choice. In the back of my head, I know there are certain foods that are soo healthy - potatoes, healthy rices, healthy carbs in general that when I DO eat them, I feel so much better. Sometimes I eat so low carb, I just don't feel right after...almost like I am craving carbs and then I know i'll feel better. now sure if this is in my head!

Have you ever tried plain cottage cheese? I've gotten to really liking it! I usually eat the 2% or full fat versions with tons of added cinnamon...and also I have recently bought a bottle of liquid stevia. I used to use flavored stevia, but this one is pretty natural - just the liquid no cal sweetener from the stevia leaf...I add some drops to the cottage cheese if I want it sweet.

Gonna try that cinnamon. I always get the 2%. Not really trying for a sweet taste. It's how I've always had it. The sweet potatoes are going back on the menu too.
