Met with the wife's parents from North Carolina. Gave them a mess of sweet potatoes.

The mornings have been cold. Biking in to work is getting tougher. My hands just get cold even with gloves. The next few days should be warmer.

Two new covers for the Honky-Tonk tonight. One Loaf of Bread-Dave Evans, and I've Been Everywhere - Hank Snow.

Looking into another 5K on Oct26.

Trying to make homemade sauerkraut in one of my used pickle jars. So far so good. Lots of brine in it. Gonna test it Saturday. Stay tuned.

Push Mowed the Lawn.

I tried the Stevia tincher I've had soaking in vodka for a little over a month, and it tastes, sweet...and Terrible. I've put the opened jar sitting on the stove burner on low, trying to evaporate the alcohol, hoping this makes it taste better. I sure can't use it the way it is. I have 2 jars in vodka, and 2 jars with just the dried leaves. I need to do more research that just watching a couple YouTubes.

I don't think you're going to get the stevia to taste good on its own. Stevia is disgustingly sweet and somehow bitter at the same time. I've only ever had it in coffee and I also bake with it in small measures. Let us know if you find a way to make it better though!

Haha... yes the holidays are coming quickly around the corner... the day before thanksgiving is technically the end of my challenge with my bf... but I've decided challenge or no challenge I'm going to keep going until I hit my goal... and those holidays are going to be a big obstacle.
