I really didn't need the Oats&Groats so late at night but I didn't feel full after the CottageCheesePineapple. I'll try to eat slower tonight. 5days till the 5K. I should be okay. Have a Healthy Day !

As far as bedtime snacks go, I think oats and groats is a good one. You are exercising much more and it makes sense that you'll be hungrier and need more fuel. I'm sure you'll kick booty in the 5K!

Sometimes your body just needs more. Have you looked into carbing up for your race? Just based on some research I had dome before I ran my race a lot of people recommended a lot of extra hydration for the week following (I ran a 15k during the summer though so that might not necessarily apply so much now that the weather is cooler) and eating a lot of extra carbs for the entire week before. I also used those gatorade energy squares during my race and found them very helpful! I kept them in my sports bra and 1/4 mile before any of the hills I'd pop one for extra energy.

Our band is playing at a pig roast this weekend lots of practice going on now. I get to be Elvis this time round. I've lost so much weight I need a wardrobe adjustment :v) My costume also needs some Pizzaz !

Have fun this weekend playing at the pig roast! I attended my first pig roast just a few weeks ago, during a football game. It was delicious, and with the game in the background, a lot of fun!

I'm feeling better today. My lungs are clearer, The Ravens won their game, Worship at church was great, I stepped on the scale and I only gained one single pound. I was so sure it was going to be a LOT more after a solid week of being sick, no exercise and very little water. So yeah, I'm feeling pretty good today. I even rode my bike into work today.

I hope you're all having a great, healthy day too.

It's official. I have been diagnosed with Bronchitis. I'm to take an antibiotic (Augmentin) 3 times a day. I will be so glad to be back to normal.

Why am I still not showing any weigh-ins for August ?
