Hello everyone. I've been backsliding for a while and it's time to confess. I've been eating Cheese Doodles. I've finished my last bag and I'm not going to buy any more. There... I feel better now. Have a Healthy Day.

Have you been taking in sugar stuff or just regular stuff. Sugar will make you crave and make you hungry. My solution is to fill up on vegetable (volume of it). Pasta also makes me crave more food.

Good Morning. I think I found Puddy's extra pounds that she lost. The scale put me at 189 Lbs today at weigh-in. 3 pounds up. It's my own fault and I know what I've done wrong. I've added a chicken breast, a bowl of oatmeal with sugary flavors in it, and one other bad thing that I don't want to tell,(ashamed) but I can get rid of it. I'm not exercising at all. Just walking. I'm gonna be good to myself this week and watch out for my lifestyle. I'm glad to see everyone doing good on here. I'm glad to be here. Have a Healthy Day.

HI OR - Definitely be good to yourself. It is still a mystery as to why our weight goes up so quickly when we have been so good for so long - but remember - 'be balanced' - Oh heck, you already know all this haha!! Just hang in there and enjoy your walks!! You'll get back in the groove soon!! :)

My weight tends to fluctuate up to 4 lbs. Does yours? I think it's because i tend to volume eat...puts a ton of weight on. but only volume-wise...

Good Morning. 185 at weigh-in today. I feel like I'm maintaing pretty well. My shirts still feel good. My Dad-Bod isn't looking too bad. Just a little beer belly. I'm still getting a lot of walking in. Over 7 miles yesterday. Hope everyone is doing good. Have a Healthy Day.

Hi OR! You sound good. Maintaining is HARD work.

It's easy to feel like you are losing steam or getting fat...but it's a matter of making the right choices and stabilizing your lower weight. It's what i'm doing now.

I'm still getting used to eating less calories per day.

It seems for me to maintain, i must eat an average of 1800's in calories for the week...

Good Morning. Day4 of Granny's Dirty Dozen. I watched videos on both the calf lift and a plank. I did 36 of the Calf lifts with my big dumbells, slowly trying to tip-toe as high as I could and still keep my balance. It was good and my calves were as tight as bark on a tree. The planks seemed easy enough. I slowly counted upward and them started to tremble until I finally got to 60 seconds. Three times of this and my little beer belly was tight as a drum. I've got a couple more exercises left to try. Stay tuned for the next adventure of, "Granny's Dirty Dozen". Have a Healthy Day .

Lol...sorry not to comment as much, been such a busy couple days OMG!

Anyways, I was really LoL-ing because of the "tight as bark on a tree..." because for some reason i thought back to my old childhood home where we had Sycamore trees but they were actually all old, diseased and sick! and the bark was the opposite - loose on the tree, always peeling! jajaja too funny. but yes, i know the feeling of a tight calf!

and nice analogy for your ab muscles. lol, i did used to be a music teacher....so, i guess they were as tight as a tight drum lol, not a loose one where the springs underneath (like a snare drum) are loose...lol....I'm having a weird moment lol.

Good Morning. Day 3 of the Granny Challenge. Or as I like to call them, "Granny's Dirty Dozen". I did 36 of the Tricep dips. I watched the video listened to the instructions. The hardest part for me was finding a chair without wheels. I didn't feel too fatigued afterwards but there is no way I was going to breeze through them. I did a dozen and stopped so I could feel which muscles I was using. I attempted another dozen but had to stop at 7. I finished the rest of them in little spurts, and my legs hurt a little but I think that it was from yesterday's Lunges. I was going to do another exercise but my life got in the way. Yes, take your time doing them. More important for somewhat correct form than injuring yo-self!

Good Morning. Day 2 of the Granny Challenge. I had to YouTube how to do lunges, and do them correctly. My dumbells were Big bolts and nuts I put together at the warehouse. I'm guessing they weigh close to 20 Lbs. I did 36 with a step, and 36 without a step. I started slowly trying to get The form right and do the lunges like The trainer did on The video. I found my flexibility was really stiff. It took me all day to recover enough to finish. The front of my thighs are killing me. I'm being real careful of my knee. It hasn't acted up in quite a while. Proud of you for challenging yourself. Make sure to schedule in recovery time...and to take 48hrs between doing the same exercises on the same muscles / body parts. :)

Nice job dude.

I am also continuing to strive and maintain my weight and challenge myself to new exercises. Keep on going, never stop. Maintenance is hard and it's a good feeling to continue looking good & feeling good, rather than go back in a 180 to old ways. no good :)

so keep on, i'm keeping on with you. doing my absolute best to continue to look good & feel good OR.

Hi OR! so glad you are experimenting with her workout. It does sound good to me too :)

I am challenging my own self, especially in June, with working out my lower body more.

I have a good friend traveling to see me in July from Canada and he's doing a photo shoot of me on the beach! That's a good reason enough to finally start working out the lower and not just upper body :)
