Good morning

Yesterday was another good day food and water.

No loss today but maintained original weight.  That is good did not expect that it would keep going down as fast as it has been in the past week.  My body probably has to adjust to all these losses. 

Got all my errand done yesterday picked up all my veg and protein that I wanted.  The shrimps and scallops and crab were on sale so I stocked up on seafood - I just love it.  It was an expensive day but I have to eat and I might as well eat things that I love, not as if I have to buy for an entire household since I am alone I can allow myself some pleasures.

So few people on the DD lately really miss not hearing from our old members. I know it is Summer and everybody is busy but I still miss the postings.

Another sunny day here and I will have a relax day today.

i feel the same way when i eat...might as well pay more for what i like to eat! :-) everyone must be busy yes. They do come back always though.

have a good day and i hope your body does have an easy time adjusting to the new weight. that's what i'm doing now too! i'm still getting used to mine as really i've only had the lower weight since around March.

Good morning

Yesterday was a great day food, water and my grandson's soccer game we won. 

Again today got on the scale just to see if the 194 was solid and again down 1 more pound.  I am in totally amazed.  Do not know what is going on but I will take it while it is going around.  It is true that I am much more active in the last little while but not excessively.  Must have been all the cheering at my grandson's game.... lol

Today is my grocery errands the house is empty or close to it.  Veg and protein main items on my list.  It seems at one point in the house everything runs out at the same time toilet paper, hand towels, dish soap, laundry soap etc etc etc... all the stuff you need but also the kind of stuff that raised the bill at the cashout counter.  I will stock up and then will not have to do it again for quite a while.

We are having another beautiful sunny day but a little cooler.  It was down right cold at the soccer game last night the cloudy and breezy evening was cool thank God I had brought my blanky with me.

Veg and protein will also help the weight go down...and adding in activity is key...it's amazing how easy it can be to maintain / lose with activity.

J. its not like I am gungoh on exercise and my activities are probably nothing that builds up much of a sweat... lol but it is just being active and getting out and doing things. I have never done the exercise stuff just not me. It works for me so that is good.

yep, i do not really do much cardio actually...only the weights. but whenever i increase my cardio or move around doing things more, i do notice it's so much easier to keep weight off :-)

If you are active in your day...cardio is overrated!

Good morning

Yesterday was a good food and water day.

Decided to get on the scale this morning since I had a big dinner with my company on Monday night just to see if I had done any damage to the number but to my surprise I was down 1 lb.  Definitely a good surprise.  I am definitely in one of my loosing stages.  I really do not understand how my system works with plateaus and then loosing stages.  It must have to do with just how my body works probably its own little cycle of processing stuff.  I will just keep on doing what I do whether I loose or not.

Today I have my grandson's soccer game early evening so it will be a late dinner for me and probably not a large dinner especially at a later hour. 

Yesterday I did do a few little things but not much I was tired after my active Monday and company being over at my place.

Need to go to the store for veg. again.  It seems I go through veg so fast I know that I do not overload my fridge with them but so many trips a week to the store to replenish the stock.

Everyone's body is different, i'm glad you've learned to manage with your metabolism and needs. I guess you were right many months ago when you discussed plateaus and how your system works!

I also run out of veggies pretty quickly sometimes. In fact, I'm out of them now & the kale i bought is spoiled so i threw it out. It spoiled really quickly, not sure why. I still have the swiss chard i may cook tonight but i'm also going to buy some veggies (already cooked) after work today.

Yes our bodies all react in different ways. Yes veg either you cooked them all or freeze some then there is no waste. I do spend a lot of time storing my vegs so that they do not go to waste. Have a great day J.

Yesterday was a great day food and water a little off.

Had my BBQ yesterday we had soo much fun.  I did indulge slightly but that is ok back to it today. 

Tired today going to be a relax day for sure.  Nothing on the agenda.  Having another beautiful sunny day.

I seem to be holding the 195 it is the same this morning.  I am not complaining it has been a very good past few days. 

Having company over for dinner tonight a BBQ night.

Not much else going on but it will be a hot and busy day for me today.

Enjoy the bbq...bbqing can be extremely healthy in terms of foods that taste wonderful when bbq'd...including all those veggies and skewered meat and veggies....oh...and SHRIMP!

nice job on maintaining. keep up the great work. Boy does it take mental strength and also just learning how to eat for being full but healthier choices...or low cal choices.

Good morning

Yesterday was another good day for food and water.  I decided to get on the scale this morning just to see if the 197 was holding and to my surprise I was 195 - 2 more pound down what a amazing few days 4 lb down.  It is nice to see rewards for the work.

My dinner last night was really nice and enjoyed eating again on the patio.

Today need to do a few prep work for my dinner on Monday with my brother and S-I-L.  I also have a few things in the house to do plus go to the store forgot to get some stuff for my salad actually I used it in my salad yesterday so I need more. 

I will probably be taking a little bit of sun again today.  I need to feel the sun on my face.  It will be extremely hot today so probably about 20 to 30 minutes will be the most I take.  The UV is way too high.

Extremely hot here too...actually glad to be home and not at beach...and wondering how hot my gym will be soon when i go!

anyways, super congrats to you on your weight change! You must be thrilled as it's totally going your way! You deserve it and it seems since you got back home in Canada you've been on a roll. I'm sure you've implemented many changes in your lifestyle to cause the numbers on the scale to go down. Happy for you.

For me too. Now that i'd reached the lower weight back in April, I have made a change since then to eat less calories than i used to so i can keep the lower weight. I eat a lot of volume so I still feel full of course!! But it's still a change i have to keep up in order to maintain the lower weight. It's worth it to me.

I really have not made real changes but I tend to plateau for period of time. If you read back to my blogs I have had quite a few plateaus of 2, 3 or 4 months through my journey. I think my body just takes the time to readjust to the loss I make and then when it is ready it start loosing weight again. I have learn to go with the flow when it comes to the plateaus. Yes I am very happy about having another period of time of loosing again. Thanks for the support. Another things is that once you are on the last miles it tend to slow down and take time and patience to persist and not give up.

Good afternoon

Yesterday was a perfect day.

Decided to get on the scale this morning just felt I had loss and yes down 2 lb wow that is real nice.  I must be doing something right - considering that I had such a long plateau it feel good to be back on the loosing side. 

Just got back from my son's place just popped over to wish him a Happy Father's day.

It is really hot today and I got a bit sun at my son's actually I got a lot of sun I am a little red considering that I still have quite a tan from my Winter I was surprised to see I was getting red but the sun so intense.

Tonight is centre cut pork chop no fat on it at all will do it on the BBQ with vegetable and probably will have a salad later on if I am hungry in the evening.  I will see. 

I had dinner outside on the patio last night it was really pleasant.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day for food and water.

I accomplished everything I had planned - clean the patio/furniture/BBQ/windows outside.  Had a great dinner of shrimp kabob with veg on rice and a salad.  Perfect day.

Today need to do groceries since my brother and s-i-l are coming over for BBQ on Monday so instead of going out for breakfast we will be having a quiet dinner at home.  My brother is not allowed a BBQ at his apartment so he enjoys the fact that he can come over here and eat some BBQ food of course there will be a bottle of wine involved in this cookout... lol

Another beautiful sunny and hot day.

I love shrimp. Maybe because firstly it's low cal. But it also tastes great grilled :-) or even dipped in a little cocktail sauce. Shrimp is just...GREAT!...very healthy dinner. Any fat in the dinner or just low fat shrimp, veggies & rice!

I hope you have the best dinner at home with them. Sorry he can't bbq at his place...probably the same at mine although I've never actually looked into it as i'm not gonna be buying a BBQ so it wouldn't affect me! LOL

enjoy the nice weather. honestly, i'm just looking forward to sleeping in Sunday. that's it.

The only fat will be some garlic butter that I will be brushing the shrimp with on the BBQ while they cook.

Good Morning

Yesterday was a great day.

Went to my grandson's game and they won 7 to 0 they knocked them off early in the first 15 minutes.  I know I should be feeling for the little guys in the other team but I have to cheer for my grandson... lol. 

Today I am going to clean out the patio and wash down the furniture and do the windows it will be a perfect day for that because the sun is out.

Found out yesterday that I am babysitting the kids on the 27 of June.  I will have to start planning that day to keep them busy.

Apart from that I will just be having a regular day today.

LOL - to have fun cleaning!? well yeah I'm glad the weather is working in your favor! Today is full overcast and yucky with rain in morning...but it's been nice most days this month..as well as last month! So NO COMPLAINTS here on my end either!

Good afternoon

Yesterday was a great day food and water.  Yesterday I weight myself and was down but later I decided to do it again to see if it was accurate and actually it was down to 198 but I will stick to the 199 for now.  This morning wanted to see if I was still at that weight and it showed 199 so it is a solid 199.  We will see how it goes in the next few days.  I am happy with the progress.

Just got back from breakfast with one of my friends it was very pleasant as always.  The heat today is terrible I know I should not complain but it seem to be one extreme to the other.

I did a bit of shopping on my way home and tonight I am going to my grandson's soccer game looking forward to that.

Basically a great and relaxing day.
