Good morning

Yesterday was not a good day but not a real bad day just off according to my standards.

Today is just going to be a regular day - get some work done in my house.  I have taken out my luggage out of the storage and just getting some stuff ready.  I need to do some laundry. 

I have a lot of vegies in the fridge and today will be high vegie day plus protein to balance it off.  The weather is really getting to me.  All windows closed no fresh air well maybe too fresh for my taste actually pretty darn cold. 

Thats is about all that is going on in my life this day.  Wishing you all a great day.

Got a bit chilly here after our rain, but the sun has been out for a few days and it makes all the difference.

The weather transition this time of year can be a little treacherous for some of us, but I'm sure you'll be okay with it all soon. And then it'll be time for your trip--woo-hoo!

Same here, the chill in the air is coming. Especially in mornings now. No more fall jacket, more like a warmer, almost winter jacket.

enjoy your veggie day. I love those, especially when i'm more relaxed at home and can eat those veggies. On the run, it's not as fun because they are generally filling.

Good morning

Great weekend at the cottage but it was definitely the last for the season way too cool/cold.... lol

Going out for breakfast with brother and s-i-l.  Need to do some cleaning and laundry the regular household chores are in the schedule for this week.  Wednesday babysitting my grandkids mind you they are no longer babies 9 and 7 but to me they are my babies...  My s-i-l's birthday next tuesday so planning to celebrate that Friday night at my son's place so on Wednesday when I babysit the kids and I will make the birthday cake that should keep us busy for a little while plus probably make a pretty good mess of the kitchen... lol.. all in good fun.

Not much more going on but I am starting to look forward to my leaving for Winter.  Wishing you all a great day.  I am also hoping to break this plateau of mine but as long as I am maintaining I am not going to complain.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day food and water.

I did some cooking yesterday since I did go out and get some errands run.  I made a sheppard's pie and made a meatloaf.  I am ok now for quite a few days just have to do the veg. and the add-ons to the meal. 

Not much else going on at this end of the world except we are finally having a sunny day.  Rain is in the forecast but for now it is sunny

Yesterday was a good day food and water on track.

For today I have nothing planned and I will let the day unfold as it wishes.  Starting to get cool around here lately not interested in going outside too much.  My cold seems to have just been a one day chill and sneeze and blowing nose -  I can take that and be happy it is not developing into anything more serious.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day food and water.

I am starting a little bit of a cold - must have got that at the cottage.  It was so cold this weekend that I must have caught a chill.  I have to nip it in the butt before it gets out of hand. 

Today going out for breakfast that will an interesting conversation because yesterday we got a new Prime Minister.  Our elections where yesterday and we are going into a new era with a new guy.  Will be interesting times. 

My food today not to sure yet have to go to the grocery store after breakfast the cupboards are getting low on stuff.  I definitely have to pick up some protein items meat, fish, chicken. 

That is about all here not much new.

Good morning all

Had a great weekend at the cottage but really cool plus we got a little bit of snow YAK YAK.....

We tried a lot of new recipes this weekend and they all turned out real good and yummy plus very low on the fats and calories.  One was curried turkey dish, cornbeef and cabbage and the last one was pork tenderloin ratatouille in slow cooker.  Lots of vegetable and protein no starch.  Nice to cook with multiple people with interesting twists on cooking tips. 

We have put off our regular monday breakfast for a tuesday breakfast so tomorrow I am meeting up with brother and s-i-l at our regular restaurant. 

Today is a relax day - weekends are fun but you do come back a little bit tired but a good tired.

Those foods sound fantastic! I recently made ratatouille for the first time and loved it, and I bet it would be great with a pork tenderloin. I hope you're enjoying your relaxation!

Good morning guys

Yesterday was a perfect day water and food - really feel good.

Today doing laundry and it is already started and I just have my floors to wash and my big cleaning will be done.  I had let it go for a few weeks because of the cottage and I knew I had to do it this week eventhough I am heading back out tomorrow to the cottage.  I will feel good when I get back and the place is clean.

So that is the plan for today plus I have to make up the grocery list for cottage and food plan for the weekend.  I love to plan it ahead of time and then I can mix it into the other peoples food plan and we talk on Wednesday and do our groceries on Thursday morning before heading out and everybody has their part of the well balanced meals for the weekend.  Healthy councious people how amazing to have a group like that.

You sound on top of things! Always good to be able to plan ahead. That is by far the best way to stick to a healthy menu and make good choices. Thanks for the reminder that this is mostly what it takes!

Yes, I always feel better after I clean things up to. And it's always nice to come back home to a clean place. When I went to stay with my folks for over 3 weeks, it felt nice coming home to a clean place also.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day for food and water.

I did get my stuff done yesterday and today we are having a rainy day and will continue to sort all the little things that still have to be done. 

I have been on this plateau a long time now and I was wondering how long this will continue but at one point it will burst and I will start loosing the last pounds I need to lose. 

It is true that I am definitely living more a maintenance then a diet stage and that could be the reason for the plateau.  The cottage season is coming to an end soon and that will also change my eating it will be more routine then now so I will just go with it for now.

I bet you will continue to lose once the cottage season comes to an end and you get back to your regular routine. You could also try adding in some power walks or light exercise, it will definitely help rev up your metabolism.

Good morning

Yesterday was thanksgiving here and of course my food was not perfect and that is to be expected.  Today is another day and yes I am still going out for breakfast with brother but will definitely be reasonableon that selection.

The agenda for the week is not too heavy but need to get some work done.  Will probably be going to the cottage later this week maybe two weekend left at the cottage have to take advantage of it nights are getting real cold. 

Have to plan my food for the week today also.
