Good morning DD pals

Yesterday was a good food and water day.

We are having a rainy/cloudy day.  This day again will be a do whatever I want but strictly inside activities.

I am having a hard time with my post this morning.  I am slightly disappointed with comments made on this site that is suppose to be supportive.  I understand that we are all allowed our own opinions on things but some opinions might not need to voice in such a way.  Common respect for the feeling of others should come before brutal honesty.  I believe in honesty but not at that cost.  That is all I have to say for today.

Good morning everyone.

Yesterday was perfect food and water.

There is nothing like a good weigh-in to remotivate you and keep you on the straight and narrow.  I got on the scale this morning just to check if I had a solid 238 and yes it is a solid 238 even the 237 flickered a few times before settling on 238 so it is promissing that I might have a another loss this week coming.  No more scale for me for the rest of the week.

Every Sunday morning I write to my son because he worries about me being here alone.  We call it our Sunday check-in time.  I don't talk to much about the weather because they are having a bitterly cold Winter up there - not much snow but so beyond our coldest Winters.  The kids are getting excited about packing their shorts and swimsuits.  It will be their first time experiencing the change of leaving in Winter clothes and along the way changing to summer clothes they have no concept of what that is and actually they don't believe it when my son tells them.  They are so cute at that age.

Plan for today - undetermined - I usually get some house cleaning done which leaves me with an open week to do whatever I wish - so it might be in the plan for today.  I have no need to run errands - basically a lazy day.

enjoy your day, Puddles. It's nice when you don't have a thousand things to do - all in one day! I find myself trying to eliminate errands now...and as i'm getting my fitness back - I've decided what i love most is still being in the outdoors. even if just with myself, for an hour or so. i'd rather make the time for nature than most errands, cooking, or even shopping :)

and having time to relax is important, too. running around like a chicken without a head doesn't do much for creativity and working on personal thoughts and goals :)

My son live in Ottawa, Ontario Canada and it has been one of the coldest Winters in a long time hardly any snow at all but bitter cold. I have been retired now for 18 years and now find that nothing is a rush but I have always been a little bit on the laid back type and taking a relax day has always been more important than cleaning or any other stuff that could wait. At one point in life you decide what is important, what is healthy and what you really want to be doing.

Good morning DD pals

Yesterday was excellent day for food and water.

Today was my weigh-in for the end of the month of January.  Jan. 1st I was 247 today Jan. 31st I am 238 I lost 9 pds.  A wonderful month but cannot expect this every month.  This month has been a readjustment month from home to here on hollidays.  There has been more temptations and I have given in to some things and tried other things and it was not always a great decision. 

I tried to figure out yesterday why they kept showing 243 on my chart for Jan but I have dicovered that they count the months a little bit differently then I do.  I started Aug. 12th and the way it is posted they do from the 12th to the 12th of the months total.  I could never figure that out because it was not accurate but it is according to their monthly registry.

February starts tomorrow my goal for that month end was suppose to be 235 but I will alter that slightly I would like to be close to 230 by the end of February.  I know it is a reach but we will see I would not be disappointed if I dont make it because I am doing good.  I will take whatever comes my way.

Good morning DD pals

Yesterdays was a perfect day food and water - so happy to be back on track. 

It is always good to discover all over again that I will never be a normal eater on certain stuff.  I went back to my plan and I feel so much better.

I do not think that I will hit 239 for my end of month but we will see I still have til weigh-in tomorrow morning.  Whatever the scale says is still going to be good because I have had a wonderful month of Januray. 

Unreal to see that January is almost finished already.  Time is going by so fast.

Good morning DD pals

Yesterday again not all that good for the food but water is good.

Today is another day just got to keep thinking that things will settle down and get back to normal unless something else is going on which I am not aware of yet.  Will not worry that will just make it worst I will carry on my day and do the best I can.  I seem to be hungry in the early morning which is unusual for me.  I am a late morning eater.  I find that it set me off when I eat real early.  It is what it is and I will weather it through.

Not much going on today but it is a beautiful sunny day and I will take advantage of that.

Good morning DD pals

Yesterday was not good for food but water was excellent.  I wish those where reverse.  I guess you have to get some of those days.

When I did my groceries the other day I got some cheese slices and I should have known better.  I have no problem with shredded cheese in the house but anything that is in solid or sliced is still a trigger.  I thought since I was not having problems with the bread lately that maybe it would have been the same with the cheese but I found out it is not.  No more cheese in solid pieces in my house.  I guess it could have been worst.

Apart from that today is another day with a very good learned lesson.  Trial and error is the only way we can learn. 

Not much for today a regular day I have no danger food in the house so I should have a good day.

Good morning DD pals

Yesterday was a good day food but water was lower 7 glasses which is still good enough.

We are having a cooler day but nice and sunny should get out today and get some fresh air.  Actually just getting out is great I certainly do not miss being a hermit like when I am up North for Winter time.  I don't have to worry about slipping on the ice.  

I don't know what to have for food today going to have to ponder new ideas - I seem to be drawing a blank on what I feel like eating lately like in the pass two day.  It is better then always thinking about food because I want to eat everything that is in the house I guess.  

Yesterday somebody mentioned onion sandwiches and I remembered I loved those so I had one last night it was good.  My breath this morning is terrible but who cares I enjoyed the onions. lol   Maybe I have just made up my mind as to what to have for lunch.  Soup and sandwich or sandwich and salad sounds good to me.

Good afternoon DD pals

Yesterday was good food and especially water 12 glasses - I thought I was going to float away.  I must have had something that really salt because I could not get rid of the thirst. 

Another week starts and the end of the month approaches I am looking forward to seeing what I can accomplish this week.  I really do want to knock off that last pound to 239.  That does not mean that I will change any of my routine because the routine works so don't mess with it RIGHT. 

We are getting a mixture of sun and clouds today but I will certainly not complain considering the weather in the upper states.  It is cooler here but not suppose to last for very long.  I will not be taking my walk today not nice enough so I am substituting it for apt. cleaning.  Eventhough I am only renting this place I still cannot live in dirt.  I know that clean is not considered exercise but that is as good as it will get for today's exercise. 

I got all my errands done yesterday and I will be doing some cooking later this week for the purpose of freezing and having things done ahead of time.  I find that if I have frozen meals and I take one out I cannot go back and just have another one right away because I have it all frozen.  That does not mean that in the past I have not eaten frozen food I have - how sick was that. lol lol 

It is nice to read all the posts on this site and I find it keeps me motivated and I thank you all for that.

Good afternoon guys

Yesterday was real good food and water.

I weighed myself this morning and I am down 1 more pound.  I was hoping to be at 239 by the end of the month and I can see how that might just be a possibility.

I finally got hungry around 6pm yesterday after having had such a unusual night of no sleep. I did get to bed at a reasonable time last night and slept all night.  Thank God for that.  I hate it when my routine is off.

I went to do some grocery shopping again and loaded up the fridge with more protein again.  Thank God I love my chicken and lean cuts of meat because this could be the end of me.  It seems to be working for me right now and that is all that counts.  If at one point it does not work for me anymore and my body starts craving other stuff I will just switch over.  I find it so amazing that my body actually tells me now what it wants and needs.  I do attribute it to having no sugar at all except what is already in the ingredient and having to white stuff.  That comment not actually totally true I do have some pasta and rice but so much less then before - I don't seem to crave it anymore.  Another thing I find amazing is a long time ago I could not bring bread in the house I would eat it all up in two days and now I buy a bread and it last over a week now that is a major accomplishment.  

Well that is about all for me for today - nice sunny warm day here today and I am going to take advantage of it now that all my errands are done.

Good afternoon all

Yesterday was a good day food and water.

My only problem with yesterday was that I could not get to sleep last night and ended up going to bed this morning at 8am.  I really don't know what tonight will be like.  I have certainly screwed up my sleeping schedule.  I don't know why that happens.  I really don't think I did anything different to cause it.

It is what it is not going to worry about it.  I am not very hungry today since I think I am too tired to eat.  We will see maybe the hunger will kick in later on.  Not going to worry about that either everything has a way of working out. 

Tomorrow I would love to go shopping I need to get a pair of golf shorts you know what I mean shorts just above the knee everything I have is either still too small or too loose and since I have to swing at the ball would not want to bust my pants or have them fall down.  That will be my task for tomorrow.
