Good morning guys

Things are definitely looking better.  Glad to have gotten rid of that food in my house.  It was a lesson learned that trying new things don't always work out the way we want it. 

Today will be a regular day for me - stick to the plan and drink my water. 

I am so glad to see all the people new and old posting again.  It is a definite source of encouragement and support. 

I was suppose to go out for dinner with the girls tonight but I am planning to cancel that - my track record this week is not good and do not feel I can trust myself.  I decided that it is better to feel safe than to take another chance so soon after my little disaster.  I know that I should not live my life in fear of what I could possibly do or not do - I rather not test myself. 

I am so happy to see the positive comments everyone is having on the site - we are certainly a motivated gang.

Good morning all

Yesterday was not a good day.

What can I say we all have one of those days here and there.  Today on the other hand will be better lets just say it cannot be worst. LOL LOL

I still have not figured out the trigger that set me off but that is not important.  I cannot undo anything of yesterday but I can do better today.

I definitely cannot bring cheese into the house.  I am such an addict.  It totally floors me to believe that I have no control over certain foods.  My brain is definitely not wired the same way as normal people.  The cheese kept calling me from inside the fridge. LOL LOL

That is enough of the negative and the guilt trip stuff.  I have had my pity party and now time to move on.  

On the positive a new day is here and it will be a good one I will definitely make sure of that today and get myself clean again and on track. 

I also think that these events only make me stronger and gives me more knowledge of how I react and deal with everyday obstacles.

I am the same way, so your brain is definitely wired the same as a few of us others ;) I am also this way with bread and have to be careful how much I bring into the house and where I leave it.

Good morning all

Yesterday was a good day food and water was low.

The good news is that I got all the important stuff done and received e-mail from owner of the condo that I rented for next Winter confirming that my money order was received and all is good.  I always hate sending money through the mail.  I always take all the precautions but you never know.  I am so looking forward to leaving now. LOL LOL

There was a snow fall in Alberta yesterday 2cm wow that was way too early.  We are getting some very cool weather for the end of the week.  I think that our Indian Summer has come and gone.

Today I have a few errands again and the grocery store for some vegetable and fruit.  I am having a hard time picking new food to keep me interested.  I need to find a munchy for the evening that will satisfy me.  By that I dont mean cottage cheese and fruit or yogurt or the regular stuff that sounds like diet but that feels like a cheat but really is not.  If anybody has an idea please let me know.  I dont mind keeping about 200 cal. for this.

You may not care for it, but some plain oats (I like extra thick Bob's Red Mill) with nothing added satisfies and stays with me. It may also help you to sleep.

You could also just use old fashioned rolled oats (whatever brand). You don't need a giant bowl--maybe a quarter or a third cup measured dry.

Good morning

Yesterday was a perfect food day but my water was low.

Today was wiegh-in day and I am down one more pound I am happy with that.  I now start week 6.

I have a few things I have to get done today but not a big day as far as hard work. 

Wow the weather has really changed fast from one extreme to the other.

Good morning

Yesterday was OK not perfect.

The birthday party was good they had corn on cob and I had one of those and hot dogs on the BBQ and I had one of those and I had a small piece of cake.  Overall not to far off my list except the corn and cake not a prefect choice. It is what it is for today. 

Tomorrow is my wieght in and I think that it will be ok.

Today my plan is to stick to my regular eating habits and eliminate the sugars that I manage to ingest yesterday. 

We are having a cool weather day - really nice for a change after the hot spell of last week.  The severe weather of the past two days has created a lot of damage in the area - mind you nothing like devasting turnado stuff but branches and some areas still have no electricity.  I was lucky with only 4 hours without electricty one day and the following day another 3 hours.  I am getting pretty cook at resetting all my clocks.

Thal is all that is exciting here for today and I wish you all a wonderful day.

Good morning guys

Food and water good yesterday.

We had a violent storm yesterday afternoon.  My flower pots on my little deck took a beating.  They were definitely on their way out anyway so it did not matter too much - time to put them away for Winter.  It also caused a power outage and that meant that I could not cook - it was out for about 4 hrs.  I decide to pick up a 6" sub and that worked out good.  I could have done worst and I was proud about my choice.  I had not had bread in 5 weeks and I really appreciated a change.  Bread is one of the things that I do not bring into the house.

Today is cloudy and expecting some rain this morning but sunny in the pm.  I have not had the phone call from my son - do not know what day they are having the birthday party for my grand- daughter - she is turning 6 and she is a real drama queen and she rules the roost. LOL LOL

No real plan on my food for today I will have to fly by the seat of my pants on those decisions for the day. 

I don't know what it is about this time on my food plan but I am more peaceful about choices and mistakes and whatever is put in front of me.  I have decided that it is what it is and it will just take whatever time it will take.  I am not saying it is a "I dont care feeling" but a acceptance that I am not perfect and my eating might not be perfect at time but it will be as perfect as I can make it and still live my life without the guilt.  For this today I am grateful. 

Sorry for rambling on today but it is my dairy and I feel safe here to do that.

Good morning guys

Yesterday was OK not perfect - but who is perfect in this world. LOL LOL   If I was perfect there would be no need for me to be on this site.

Woke up hungry this morning that is very unusual for me.  I usually do not get hungry till later in the morning.  Might just be an off day. 

Very humid today unfortunately it will be a day where I stay in because it is going up to 39 with humidex.  The breathing will be laboured in my case the air is not good.  That does not help - so I am in with not to much to do could be problematic if you know what I mean.

This weekend is my grand-daughter's birthday so another party. It seems to be non-ending birthday party lately.  The next one is not till January (away Jan to end of March) and fortunately I will be away for all the birthdays after that. It starts over again in July - thank God for small miracles.  This party will include a BBQ so I am going to make some smart choices and try again only to have a sliver of cake.  I have been good with the sucre since I started I no longer get the urge to go and get a bag of cookies or stop in at the donut shop for my regular 6 donuts. LOL  I have probably cleaned my system of sucre and therefore do not crave it anymore.  If I see something I think about it but it is not a craving that I can't stop myself from bying it.  That is definitely a good sign especially for me.

I really don't believe in will-power - but more in "but for the grace of God" he will help me get through this in my time of weakness. One day at a time. This is part of my Overeaters anomynous. Did you ever think of joining a group. It is life changing.

Good morning guys

Yesterday was good - water and food.

Today I have to go and get my new health card picture taken time to renew my card.  Every five years I see how much older I look - I dont seem to think I have changed but when you put the picture side by side there is a difference. LOL LOL  Oh well it is free so nothing to worry about a picture is just a picture.  

Not much else going on here - the weather has finally settled down to normal September weather which I am grateful for.  Fall is one of my favorite time.  No leave have started to change yet but I believe that soon some will.  It will be picture taking time again.  Every year it amazes me the beautiful colours.

My eating plan for today is my regular eating habits which seem to be working for me.  I am returning to my Monday weighin.  Last week was different simply because of how the month ended and I wanted a monthly total.  Hoping that my first week this month will be good.  I am sure that something has moved not that I can tell my looking at myself but eventually something will start to show.

I really miss all of the old DD members that no longer post.  Would be nice to have them back.  Maybe once Summer is over some of them will come back.  Summer is a busy time for everyone.

Good morning

Yesterday was good.

September is turning out to be very hot.  It will be very humid all week then down by the weekend.  I just have such a hard time sleeping in this weather.  I was up three times last night - humid plus hot flashes what a combination. lol

Today I have a few errands to do - food, post office and some house work.  I have to do food and post office and depending on the heat in my house the housework might just have to wait.  I do have to get out early this morning because we are suppot to have severe thunder storms today and I dont want to get caught in that.
