Getting a late start today, snow all over and the phone started ringing early.

cereal, milk, muffins, coffee

Having quite the snow storm, schools all closed or closing, power outages . I'm wondering how long we will have power. 

Trying to get as much laundry done as I can and some cooking ahead.  Power outages can last for days this time of year.  Just had friends get their power back on after about 4 days.  I'm wondering how it will go for them this time around.

I was shocked at the scales this morning.  Still weighing in dressed so it wasn't that.  I'm thinking the quantity of food I'm eating is so low that now it's finally catching up with me.  I feel like I'm fine cutting quantity way back because I'm already used to it ( I hope that continues).  I stopped counting calories a few days ago because that makes me think about food too much.  Right now, the less I think about food the better.  The kettle bells arrived and we will unbox them this morning and start working with them.  I think they will make a good addition to our home gym.  I don't have any idea how many calories I'm eating each day but I'm feeling good so I'm continuing that until  something different happens, I'm just happy to not be obsessing about food.  Right now I'm not even considering the idea of 3 meals a day because when I did that I ate because it was time, not because I was hungry.  I'm also taking vitamins every day to cover any missed nutrition.

Multi Vitamin, vitamin D gummy, vitamin c, omegas, probiotic, evening primrose oil, turmeric

coffee, cereal,mini muffins, milk

hot dog, bread, mustard

v8 vegetable juice, soup, kettle chips, crackers

Proud of you - good job on making the home gym - CONVENIENCE is EVERYTHING in terms on sticking with a routine. THE MORE CONVENIENT, the better a change you'll be able to stick with it! that's also the FULL reason for my home gym!

Started cleaning up storage spaces in master bd rm today.  Getting all laundry washed and put away.

Just not very hungry today so not going to eat.  I will probably be starving tomorrow.  LOL

I did get a lot done around here today though and also did a lot of reading so it was a nice day.

Decided to eat something since it has been over 8 hours.  small pork chop and more of the cashew,almond pumpkin seed clusters.

Up and in the mood for reorganizing the den/tv room so I need to take advantage of that before the mood changes.  Still trying to figure out what I want for breakfast so I',m putting that off for now.  Yesterday I reorganized the laundry room, getting that done just pushes me to do more.  I need to take advantage of this mood.

Also now working on the master bd rm too.  Getting a lot done today.

Lunch was navy bean soup, mini muffins and 3 small pieces Dove almond chocolate.

I have to say that dove chocolate is so rich and satisfying that I don't even want much, unlike cheaper chocolates which I can over eat very easily.

Oh yes, you definitely need to take advantage of that mood! I've got stuff to do, that yesterday I was excited about, but now that I have the time to get these things done, my motivation is quickly evaporating. I might feel differently once I eat something.

Slept really well last night.  The later I stay up, the better I sleep.  Feeling great.  Since that candle finally finished burning, my eyes have cleared up.  I'm sure it was the candle that caused that.

I'm so glad your eyes are better. that meal sounds soooo tasty. what brand of sugar free syrup do you use? is it stevia sweetened? i keep forgetting, i've been meaning to buy sugar free stevia sweetened syrup on amazon! thanks for the reminder!

The syrup is Smuckers sugar free breakfast syrup and it's sweetened with splenda. Definately an cause gas and bathroom issues for us and while we like the taste, when this is gone I will probably look for something a little more friendly belly wise.

We will be having a busy day today.

Daily weigh ins are going well.  It keeps me on track.

Some days my calories are higher and some days they are lower and I can live with that.

I've been eating some things because they are low cal and others that are high cal and it seems like it all works.

Even though I did get frustrated yesterday afternoon and didn't eat as low cal as I probably should have, I lost anyway so I think I just need to be me and do what works for me.  I didn't add what I ate later yesterday because I didn't want yesterdays post to end up at the top today and push other peoples posts for today lower down.

yeah, as long as calories are moderate and not drifting into "binge land" too often, that's good. My calories are also different day to day.

Same here with the low cal and high cal. i like to mix the two into my meals :)

don't worry about pushing people's posts around....i do it CONSTANTLY.

i think i update the most and most often....so my posts are very frequently at the top...feel free to update as much as you'd like bc the system still works :)

Slept really well last night.  The later I go to bed, the better I sleep.

Eyes still very irritated and I'm wondering if it is from the candle I have been lighting for the last 4 days.  No fragrance though.  Other than that, I'm feeling really good.

toasted bagel with peanut butter and butter, fruit juice and coffee

Lunch will be roast beef, roasted carrots, sweet potatoes with sf syrup and walnuts and a T. of coleslaw

could be the candle which has affected your eyes. i sometimes get a sore throat if a light a candle too long / often.

roasted carrots sound so good!! the more you cook a carrot, the sweeter it gets !

instead of toasted bagel, perhaps try toasted wheat bread....

believe it or not, one bagel equals approx 4 slices of bread. so, if you can have 2 slices of bread instead of a bagel, you are saving yourself some calories!

i like the mixing of butter and PB.

also, if you can skip the fruit juice with lunch, and have an actual fruit, you will add fiber to your meal and be satisfied longer. same with the whole wheat bread...there's more fiber in whole wheat bread than most bagels, so if you replace the bagel with whole wheat toast, add the fruit and take out the juice, you will have more fiber and get fuller! :)

i like the sugar free syrup with the walnuts yum!

excellent lunch...if you want to save calories, use acorn squash or butternut squash instead of sweet potatoes. in general, squash has the same benefits of sweet potatoes for less calories! so, you can eat the same amount of squash as potatoes, but the calories are less and you'll lose weight.

additionally, stay away from YAMS...those are just high sugar sweet potatoes!

hope i helped you with these tips to replace juice with a fruit, bagels with toast, and squash can replace sweet potatoes.

i have two huge pieces of kabucha squash to cook tonight in my slower cooker i think with a sweetener and cinnamon / pumpkin pie spice / nutmeg. as some kinda meal or snack...to probably eat with yogurt. ..or maybe i'll cook it faster in the oven tonight and eat that for dinner! thanks for the reminder to eat my own squash!

Friend/neighbor is here so it will be a quieter day. Elderly neighbor likes to help and work in the yard, so hubby is out there with him.

Waiting for a delivery so I'm kind of stuck at home today anyway.

Pretty sure I have a double eye infection.

coffee, whole grain crackers, chips = 680

Total = 1,839

More pizza and coffee for about another 799 cals to bring it to about 2,628 calories...way too much...but the pizza is gone now.  I need to stay away from that in the future or at least have only just as much as we will eat at a meal.  Having extra around doesn't work.

infections are the worst and then you need to take antibiotics and those mess up your digestion sometimes!

We have pizza ocassionally, we have leftovers now so it will show up again soon. It sticks with me for many hours so it's worth it.
