Good morning, everyone! I'm not off to a good start this morning--no exercise again! Darn, I hate this TOM! The doc says gradually I should stop having this visitor since I'm in the BIG M right now. I went for a whole year without it once but since I'm on these hormones it's all screwed up now. Hopefully it will stop one of these days and I can live like a regular "old" lady, haha. Hey, 40 years of this is just enough, already! Anyways, sorry to run on about this.....
Yesterday--I did good except for no exercise (I will exercise tomorrow for sure, I swear, no matter what!) only 23 points, more than I should have with no exercise but it could have been worse, and ple-e-e-nty of water, glug, glug! I must stop babying myself and get back on the exercise wagon. Maybe this afternoon I'll take a walk, who knows? It's only getting up to 80 today and it's all cloudy, so it should be pleasant for walking outside. Maybe I'll take the hubster with me, huh? Sounds like a good plan to me. We'll see.
So now I gotta get dressed, put my tanning lotion on and get ready for my tanning appointment at 11. Then I need to get to the grocery store, we're out of milk, poor DH had dry cereal this morning, haha! I told him to have some oatmeal but he already had the Cheerios in the bowl before he discovered there was no milk. So he just ate them dry! That's how he is sometimes, food just isn't important to him. Me, I gotta have my special breakfast with all the trimmings, ya know? Cinnamon oatmeal, toast, and green tea, that's my regular breakfast every day. I don't feel right without it! Okay, take care and have a great day, everybody!

Happy Monday, everyone! It's weigh-day today. Still the same but that's a good thing, since I was up 3.5 pounds just Friday morning. Whoops! So I'll take it. BUT--this week I'm going to stay on program with NO CHEATING! I'm finally tired of losing the same few pounds. This is it, down, down, down, no more ups, okay? I hope you're all doing good today and had a good weekend.
Weekend Challenge--I had a little too many points yesterday-26-but I did an hour on the treadmill and had >80 oz of water so I guess it balanced out. So I was successful on the weekend challenge this week! Today is another story--I slept in this morning, no exercise. TOM is here so I woke up with cramps really bad, took some meds and went back to bed til 8:00. Oh, well, I'm going to try to keep the points really low today to compensate. I don't think I'll do any exercise later either, it will be too hot in the room where my treadmill is, that's why I do it really early in the morning. Probably going to near 90 again today, then a cool down, into the low 80's for the rest of the week. And we're under a drought here right now too. We haven't had any rain for so long. That's the desert, I guess, right?
Okay, you all get out there today and do some moving if you haven't already. Drink that water and eat smart! Take care. Love ya's!

Hey, everybody! Are we having fun yet?! Here it is, Saturday night, and I'm all alone, except for my cat! But that's okay, I'm having fun! I rented 3 movies today, already watched one, "Heartbreakers", it was pretty good. And I've been doing some reading on the net. I've found a diet journal called "Mouse in the House" that I'm really enjoying reading. I still need to get caught up with you all though, haven't checked in today. I hope you're all enjoying the weekend.
Weekend Challenge---ta da--I had 23 points, >96 oz of water and walked for an hour this morning, 3.5 miles, on the treadmill. And I've kept very busy all day, hence the good eating thing. So 2 down, one to go. Of course, I plan on keeping this up forever, right? Not just the weekend. We'll see. I think I'm slo-o-owly learning that the junk food just isn't worth the weight gain. You know, nothing tastes as good as thin feels, they say, and I'm finally getting that through my thick head. I'm sooooo tired of losing and gaining the same few pounds, ya know?! It's time to get on with it!!

Hey, everybody!! I'm on here late today! I usually get on in the morning but thought I'd make a little change tonight. So I can check in for the weekend challenge thingy. One day down, 2 to go! How ya's all doin'?
I had 21 points today, 3.5 miles on the treadmill with 15 minutes of arm curls with 10 pound weights and ab crunches, and > 120 oz of water. And I'm alone again this weekend so I must keep myself busy to keep from thinking of the junk food. Wish me luck! DH has gone with my brother up to his (?)acres of land in northern Arizona to plant some trees. Way out in the boonies, if you know what I mean. So he won't be home until Sunday night or Monday morning. I'm just here worrying about mountain lions and bears and stuff. Why do guys do such crazy things?! I just pray he makes it home safely.
I hate to even turn on the news lately, as I'm sure you all do too. The things that are happening now are so scary, who knows where it may lead us? Well, you all take care and have some fun this weekend, okay? See ya's later.

Happy Tuesday, everybody! Well, I did get up this morning at 6:30 and took that walk finally with the DH, 45 minutes. Whew! I'm soooo tired. I think since I still have this cold thing, I just wear out a lot easier, but I did it. Now I just have to keep the food thing down to a minimum. Yesterday was a "not good, but not too bad" day. Of course, no exercise all day yesterday, except vaccuuming the floors and washing a load of towels. I took a short nap in the afternoon too. And that's in the plans for today also, as I said, I'm soooo tired. I have an appointment at the tanning salon at noon so I have to do that first. Otherwise, I'm not planning on doing much today except the 2 loads of laundry I've already started.
The weather here is great--it was about 65 when we walked, with the sun shining, going up to 87 this afternoon. Our house is built really well with lots of insulation so we don't need the air conditioning yet, just ceiling fans sometimes. It stays pretty cool in here which isn't really good for in the winter. But it doesn't really get that cold here anyway all winter long. Have I said how much I love it here?!

Good morning, everyone! Weigh-Day! I'm kinda happy with it, it could have been worse and last week, it WAS, although I didn't put it up here. So you'll never know just how high it was. Baaaad Soonie! But I'm back (again) and doing pretty good. 4 more weeks to Hawaii! I'm going to make sure the weight doesn't go up again, okay? Although, since I've had this virus, or whatever it is, all I want to do is curl up around some "comfort foods". But I think it's on it's way out now. I still have the pain in my sinuses and the cough sometimes and it still sounds really bad, but I think it's almost over. Hope the DH doesn't catch it, he's been away a lot so I guess that's a good thing. He got back from my brother's yesterday and he's gone again today with some other guys, fishing, of course. I tell you, he's a fishing fanatic! But I don't mind, he's a good husband.
I didn't do really well over the weekend but it could have been worse. That's why I'm grateful my weight wasn't up higher this morning. I don't think I'll go to the WW meeting today, I'm still feeling kinda tired and headachey. I only have to go once a month for weigh-in anyway. I still have to go out for my tanning session and the bank but otherwise, I'm going to be lazy again today. I slept in this morning too and didn't do any exercise. I just ain't up to it yet, hahaha. Probably tomorrow.

Oh, man, I just made a great entry and accidently hit the cancel button, DUH!! Sooooo, I'll try to remember what I said, I know you wouldn't want to miss it, hahaha. It's only (well, it was 10:30 when I wrote the other one, now it's almost 11) and already 80 degrees. Was only supposed to get to 76 today, according to the weatherman last night. Whatever....
First want to thank you all for all your nice comments. As for my health, I definately have a cold or virus or something. It keeps changing, the sore throat is gone, the cough isn't as bad this morning but now the sinuses are all congested so it keeps moving around. I did sleep in this morning. I woke up before 6am, got up, sprayed my nose and turned off the alarm set for 6:30, then set the other one for 8:30. It was so nice to wake up then and just lay there stretching and petting the cat for awhile. So no exercise this morning, I just couldn't force myself and figured I just need a day off. I will keep my points lower today, hopefully.
Yesterday---I cheated but it was a "controlled" cheat, I think. Hey, there was a lot of stuff in the grocery store I WANTED to have but I didn't so I call it a "controlled" cheat. Just had a few things. With my sandwich for lunch I had some new Fritos Flavor Twists, cheese and ranch flavored, just half the 99 cent bag (threw the rest away) and a Hostess cherry pie, an Otis Spunkmeyer banana-nut muffin, and a 20 oz regular Coke. I knew I was way over in points so I didn't even figure them out for those things. Oh, well. The rest of the day I just drank lots and lots of water, >104 oz for the day, and had 6 of those Body Smarts candies, no dinner. So hopefully the damage isn't too bad. Today I will eat lower points than usual, I hope. So far my 5 point breakfast and 24 oz of water.
Well, I guess I'll just skip the other things I had written about in the "lost" entry, my fingers are sore from typing, hahaha. I hope you're all having a great weekend. Take care. Buh-bye!

Happy Friday, everyone! I'm kinda in a hurry this morning. I made an appointment at the tanning salon for 11am so I have to leave here in about an hour. Still lots to do to get ready. After that I'm going to the mall, I guess, if I feel up to it. I was coughing all night long last night. The sore throat came back yesterday and now, the cough. I think I may have bronchitis (?) but I've never had it before so I don't know. I just have that rattling in my chest when I breath or cough. I'm feeling very tired but I still got up at 6:30 and walked for 3 miles on the treadmill. That little voice was telling me to stay in bed and sleep some more but I fought it! I figured if I didn't feel well when I did the walking, I could always quit. So I made it all the way. Yippee!! DH is gone to my brother's house in Phoenix and won't be back until Sunday morning so I have no walking partner. That's why I did the treadmill.
Yesterday---24 points, >96 oz of water and the 50 minute walk outside in the morning and half an hour on the treadmill before dinner. I also did a lot of walking around (and shopping, hehe) at the outlet mall. Found some good bargains too. So I had a really good third day in a row. Let's keep this up, okay? I may not get that half hour walk in this afternoon, I'm kinda worn out with this cold or whatever it is that is working on me. That's why I did the whole 3 miles this morning. Really all I want to do right now is lay down for a nice nap but I just have too much to do. So it goes....

Hey, two days in a row I haven't gotten on the scale, yeah, me! I feel better already though, I've had two great days. This morning when we walked, I wore a t-shirt I've never worn and I bought it almost 20 years ago, hehe. It was always too tight, a size medium but a small medium. I bought it in Thousand Islands, New York when we were there. It's a pretty shade of greenish-blue and says "Thousand Islands, New York" accross the front (imagine that). I always loved that shirt and today I WORE IT, yippee! It's these small milestones that make it all worth while, right? It's still a tad snug in the shoulders, I have big shoulders and back, but it looked just fine. Anyways......
So we had our 50 minute walk around all the dirt roads around here. Our street is the only side road that is paved. I never thought I'd like living so far out from everything (the boonies, I call it, hehe) but I just love it here, so quiet and nice. It was about 65 degrees with the sun shining brightly, a slight breeze, just perfect. I love these walks but DH is going back up to my brother's today for some more fishing the next 2 days. So I have no walking partner, guess I'll be doing the treadmill twice a day. I am kinda scared to go walking by myself around here, sometimes there are loose dogs, one attacked my car once!! I think he was a rotweiler (?), really ferocious. Anyways, I'll just stay in and do the treadmill thing and be safe. Oh, and we did see a small snake one morning while out walking, he didn't bother with us though. But I wouldn't want to come accross a big one while out alone, ewwww! This IS the desert, ya know!
Yesterday---19 points, that's low for me, Pasta, haha!, the walk in the morning and on the treadmill before dinner for half an hour (added two big hills in there, I love it!) and >80 oz of water (hey, I was out shopping part of the day). I made something new for lunch yesterday---scramblers with red and green bell pepper, Bacos, onion, FF grated cheese, topped with salsa, divided between 2 LF tortillas wrapped up---6 points for the two of them, mmmmmmm! It's 8 points for ONE breakfast burrito at McDonald's and mine tasted just the same (believe me, I know, don't ask how, hehe!) So I'm having that again for lunch today with a serving of FF Pringles and a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich, total 9 points. I know that's a lot for one meal but I only have 5 points for breakfast and not much for dinner, lately, I'm just not that hungry then, may be the exercise before dinner, I think. And I haven't been having anything for a snack after dinner, except my Metamucil, gotta have that. It's sugar free so no points. Okay.....
So today--going to the tanning salon again, then taking something back to K-Mart, then on to Wal-Mart to get my prescription that they didn't have yesterday cause the doctor didn't call in to okay it, then to the outlet mall for a little look around to see if they have anything I just have to have, hehehe. That should keep me pretty busy. Oh, and I've already done one load of my laundry and another in the washer so I'll have that finished before I leave. Hope you're all having a great day.
