Good morning, peeps!! I took a few days off here and didn't fair too well either. Monday, day off, no exercise. Tuesday, only exercise was bowling. Oh, and I did get a start on sorting my clothes, deciding which ones to take to the second hand store. And sorted my underwear and tossed about half of it. Boy, stuff sure can accumulate over the years! I'll have to do the same when winter comes to get rid of the winter clothes I don't want. Hopefully, I'll be thinner then and nothing will fit, hahaha! Guess I'd better get started! The way I've been going this week, I probably won't have a loss at all, just hope I don't gain too much.

Okay, I'm back this morning, all ready to get on the treadmill. My knees hurt, my heel hurts and I really don't feel like it, but I'm going to do what I can. You all go out there and have a great day. I'll see ya tomorrow!

Thanks for your comment. My husband's parents live in Glendale - do you know it? I love Bob Evans too, though I've never had the biscuits. They look so good, though, I've always wanted to try them. But I stupidly looked up the calories online and found out that they have almost 300 calories each! How is that possible?

I know what you mean about the Cincinnati weather. It's so hot and humid right now that I get drenched in sweat just from standing outside for a few minutes. It's so gross!

I hope your knees feel better soon. Maybe it was a good idea to take a couple of days off from the treadmill. I haven't read all of your entries so maybe this is a stupid suggestion, but have you thought about low-impact exercise, like swimming, instead? That might be easier on your joints!

Hi, gang! No walking this morning. My right knee is acting up and I still have pain in my right heel. Sheesh, it's heck getting old. So I feel like a fish out of water, not doing my regular thing. I know, I just took a day off on Friday, I really can't afford this. But I'll try to keep the eating at a minimum today. Yesterday I did 1.75 miles on the treadmill but the eating part was off a little. I had.....CAKE. Not just one, but two slices. And it was so good! Otherwise, at the picnic, I didn't eat much at all. But after getting home, I made up for it. Bad Soonie!

Okay, well, nothing else to say. I hope you're all having a good Sunday so far. I sure hope this knee trouble just goes away on it's own. I really fear the knee surgery and hope I never have to have it. Maybe I'll just wrap it to give it some support. The heel, not much I can do there. Okay, poor Soonie, give her an Awwwwwwww! Thanks for your comment! My husband is from Cincinnati too. I guess you didn't really like it that much here since you say you "almost" miss it, and that too only occasionally! My sister-in-law doesn't like it here either. It always surprises me to hear people say that, but I guess I don't know what it's like to live here. What didn't you like about it?

I haven't been to King's Island yet, even though my husband's brother lives literally right next door to it. My niece and nephew watch the fireworks from their porch every night - that's how they know it's time for bed! My husband promised he would take me but now he says it would just be a waste of money because I don't like big rides. I'm going to another baseball game next week, though!

Gooooood morning, everyone!! How's your Saturday "shaping" up so far? I'm up, I'm up!! Yippee! Ready to get on that treadmill and give it heck! No, really, I'd rather go back to bed but I must do it, I must! I just wish I could do more than I do, it seems so little. Okay, I'll do as much as I can. In case you didn't see yesterday's weigh in, it's right there, down below here, heh. Nothing to brag about though.

Well, nothing more to say. Yesterday was an off day, not that I did too badly, just not so good. You all have a nice Saturday and I'll see ya tomorrow.

Weeeeelllll!! Can you believe I weighed the exact same thing this morning as last week?!! I even got on it twice! Oh, well. I guess I just have to work even harder this week. And we have a picnic tomorrow at my sister's house with lots of food. I know, you all would stay strong and only eat lightly, but I've done that so many times and felt kinda cheated afterward, that I'm thinking I may just eat what I want (only the best stuff) and not eat til I'm so full I can't stand myself, okay? Oh, and we're going to Macayo's for happy hour today, I think, cause I'm just letting myself have the day sort of off. But I won't get stuffed then either. Moderation! After all, we have to learn to live this way forever, right? And there will just be times when the food's just too good to go without. So that's my plan. I can always make up for it later.

Okay, sorry I'm late today. No exercise today either. I hope you all have a great weekend. I'll see ya tomorrow.

Good early morning to ya's! I'm up early. Going bowling and had to get up early to do my stupid hair. I did it yesterday but it turned out all dry and ugly so had to do it over this morning. Aren't you glad you asked?! Okay, this is the plan today---eat right, bowling for exercise and may do some treadmill later if I'm not too lazy and pray for a drop on the scale tomorrow. I'm almost afraid to get on it tomorrow, ya know what I mean? I've done pretty well all week but I'm just afraid that I will be disappointed with the results. Oh, well, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, right? I'll be there.

Yesterday was a great day---22 points and 2 miles on the treadmill (which is getting easier, btw) I plan on upping the mileage maybe next week, we'll see. I'm just taking it one day at a time. I don't feel any thinner but don't feel any fatter either, hahaha!

Okay, I hope all you peeps are having a great day so far. Stay strong, we can do this. I'll see ya tomorrow.

Good morning! How are you all doing this morning? I'm up and ready to do that walk again. Yesterday I did 2 miles on the treadmill, nothing exciting. I ate 25 points and had a pretty good day. There's alot to be said about consistency. That's how you lose weight by keeping on with what you are doing. You're exercising, eating within your point range, and doing it again tomorrow. Way to go!

Happy First Day of Summer, everyone!! How's it going for you so far? Me, I'm up and at 'em this morning and all ready to hop on that treadmill. I sure didn't want to get up but I did. I had enough sleep but wanted to stay in my nice comfortable bed. Oh, well, here I am.

Yesterday---another bad day. It started out okay, we bowled 4 games so plenty of exercise. But I just ate and ate all afternoon. I don't know why. It's like the good part of my brain goes to sleep and the bad one takes over. I don't even think about what I'm doing really. So let's hope today is better.

Okay, time to go get started *sigh* I'll do as much as I can stand although I don't feel very energetic this morning. But a girl has to do what a girl has to do. Can't stay fat like this forever. Wish me luck and I'm on my way. Have a good one and I'll see ya tomorrow!

I just read the comment you left me - yes, I am in Cincinnati! And that ice-cream I've been having almost every day is none other than the world's finest - GRAETER'S!! Just yesterday I was thinking that if I lived here, I would be overweight in no time. There is just so much good food here, and of course nothing could ever beat Skyline! And I say that not as someone who grew up on the stuff - I just married into it!

So whereabouts in Cincinnati did you live? And do you ever come back from time to time? Thanks a lot for your comment!

Happy Monday, everyone! Here it is, a whole new week. How is everyone doing this fine last day of spring? Okay, I failed----badly! When we went to Macayo's last night I had planned on only eating half of my chimmichanga, so right away, I cut it in half and ya know what? That little half sure looked small. But I still thought I could do it. I had already eaten plenty of chips and salsa though so the day was already ruined. I was famished! It was just one of those days! And I ate almost all of the chimmi! And then sis had made 4 dozen German chocolate cupcakes for Father's Day and everyone was eating them, and the day was already ruined, you remember, so naturally I ate one too. Just one though. DH ate 3!! Hahaha! They were really yummy! So that was my day. And I had already had about 17 points before dinner! So I imagine I probably went at least a thousand calories and many, many points over for the day. Oh, well.... I shall try to make up for it today. Lots of exercise and less food. We're going bowling again this morning. At least that's fun exercise. And we'll see what happens the rest of the day.

Sunday was my downfall day too! And I also think the same way you do about how if a day is already "ruined" then start again blah blah but you didn't even go that crazy so don't feel bad.

We have to try to get over that way of thinking and instead think of it as one long continuous string of eating.

Success!! I only ate a small portion of my baked beans, potato salad and half a hamburger, and drank a lot of ice tea at the cook-out. I took small bites and ate slowly so I wouldn't finish before everyone else. And when they brought out the desserts---apple pie with ice cream and Boston Cream pie---I turned it all down! Yay, me! And it was a very nice evening, with 3 other couples, our neighbors. Lots of gab! So I'm very happy with myself but you know what they say comes after pride. A big fall. But not for me. I'm going to be just as good today. I'm all ready for my walk on the treadmill too.

So yesterday's exercise was 2 miles on the treadmill. And I ate 15 points before the dinner out so I think that came out pretty well for the day, although I don't know exactly how many points it totalled for the day. We got home about 8:30 and I didn't eat any more then either. Went to bed at 10.

Well, Happy Father's Day, everyone! I'm heading to the treadmill now. And I'm wishing you all a great day. Have a good one and I'll see ya tomorrow!

How's the weekend going so far? Good, I hope! So far I've done my 2 mile walk on the treadmill and I did it in less time than the last time. Last time, I did it in 39:10 and this morning, I did it in 38:43! Hah! I'm getting better and it's getting easier, at least, it was this morning. You know, I haven't taken a day off from exercise in I don't know how long! And it's working!

Yesterday was just 1.5 miles on the treadmill but at least I did some. And I didn't count points or anything and I did eat more than I should have but it didn't include any junk from the store or McD's. So it wasn't too bad. Now, the weekend. We are going to a neighbor's for a cook-out later and I'm making the beans. I'm sure there will be lots to eat but I'll just have to be good. Moderation, right? And tomorrow evening, the family is going out to Macayo's for a combination Father's Day and graduation (niece) dinner. So another challenge. I think I'll just get my usual chicken chimmichanga and only eat about 1/3 of it and take the rest home. And drink lots of iced tea. Hope it works. That's the plan.

Okay, the beans are in the oven and I need to go shower. So you all stay strong and have a great weekend. See ya tomorrow!

I like the way you are planning what you are going to order...that's the best way so you don't get there and pick something bad. I try to do that too. Have fun at the picnic and tomorrow night too!
