She's back!!!! Well today was another beautiful day on the beach  The evening however brought about  an electrical storm which brewed up quite a nasty rainstorm so needless to say the evening was a wash (Pun Intended)

I was out of work around 6 and you and decided to go see my bartender friend at the Bistro down the street from my house to unwind, do today's crosswords. Although very tempted to order a glass of vino, I had my coffee fix instead. So now I am super amped up so I will take this time to read what's going on in my wonderful friends on DD's worlds. I hope everyone continues to have a happy healthy weekend. Much LOVE

B- Starbucks

L- 6 oz skinless chicken breast broiled, 1 cup ff low sodium broth

D- 1 cup baby field greens, 1/2 egg white, 1oz grated mozz, 1/2 cucumber, 5 grilled buffalo shrimp with red wine vin, splash lemon juice

S- Still hungry so 4 strips lean turkey bacon,1 wedge of lc lght

1 1/2 gallon water, lots of coffee

Progress as of today: 59 lbs lost so far, only 18 lbs to go!

haha, How to be fab lessons! LOL

I teach music lessons to kids who play band instruments: flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, french horn! and sometimes a few others, oboe right now, too.

it pays ok, but i work for a store, so they take half of my profits!

it's a good part time gig for the time being! wishing i could be teaching full time this year at a school!

i sure do wish he worked out shirtless!!! oh man i do!

anyways, i think he's a tad out of my league, even just considering weight issues. he's at a perfect weight, i'm slightly over my ideal weight...by like 20 lbs. in no way would most even call me fat, but just in camparison to this cute dude.

i wish he would notice me and say something!! anything. i may say hi to him next time i see him. but, he actually intimidates me...because he's so into his workout and bc he is so good looking...in my opinion. he is good looking, but my type of guy, may not be everyone's ideal guy! :-)

Back home!!!!!!! well this is really early for me :)  My day went really well  and yes Moogy Val and I have our own fan club/stalkers who come in to worship us every Friday  and yes we shamelessly flirt with them and we eagerly take their money! LOL...For the most part they are harmless and in need of attention but I get this one that has been dubbed "Silent Stalker" He sits there for a few staring in awe of me(I can't blame him) LOL.

Tonight was very slow, we had to contend with the annual end of summer party at a resort 2 doors down. My menu slightly changed, I totally forgot to bring my chicken but dinner was just as delish! Well girls  talk to you in the A.M. Much love

B- Starbucks  1/4 cup ff cottage cheese

L- 4 oz extre lean turkey patty with cheese and mustard 2 stalks celery

D- 4 oz broiled Mahi and 6 grilled shrimp basted with buffalo sauce

I hope you have a great weekend an make lots of $$. You had asked a question a few entries back about slowly adding more carbs into your diet. I've been thinking about it and I've been adding them here and there. It's easy to go overboard for me though, especially with bread. So I have to be careful! But if I have a small portion of something like polenta or quinoa or rice with dinner, I'm usually OK. Also, if I have bread in the morning or at lunch I feel like I burn it off better. It's always a struggle with carbs though.

I earned myself quite a few free drinks, hehe. I dont drink much now, especially at bars. Im more of a 1-2 drinks with dinner type of girl now. :)

A fellow Hedwig fan! I seriously love that movie. I got to see an off off Broadway production of it for my birthday a few years ago, which was neat. As for my polenta, I use shrink wrapped instant polenta (shh!) It's from Sclafani. I just follow the direction and mix with water, then add some parmesan or peccorino and salt and pepper. I put it in the fridge to firm up (in a loaf pan or whatever is handy, then cut into slices and crisp up in Pam until browned.

I am home at last!!!!! Work was great but exteremely hot Whew!!!! It is so nice to sit in the A/C. So last night I ventured into my "Skinny Closet" and was plesantly suprised that most of them fit. Others however are still a bit snug, and others like my baby doll tees look like I bought them at the Baby Gap!!!!! Those I think  I might not ever be able to wear again but I still keep them as a reminder to never ever go that far again! I am gonna heat up dinner, i am feeling extra  hungry today. I hate turning on the oven but my 9 yr old microwave died on me a couple a weeks ago Well lovely ladies I am going to see what's going on in your world now. Much love to you

lol, my ex fiance used to say say Im off like a prom dress all the time. Made me laugh every single time!

As for morning sickness, most women see it disappear when the first trimester is over. However, some women have it during the entire pregnancy and have to be put on special meds so that they can function. My 2nd trimester starts this Sunday, so we'll see. Thanks for the support!

Good afternoon beautiful girls i hope you are not working too hard, as for myself  I am not at all. Until it picks up next month everyone had to give up a shift so I picked Weds. Now I have Sun- Weds off I am bored to tears so I have to figure out what to do with myself (well besides working out) Getting a second job is not really an option because this will be short lived, by this time next week I am sure to get calls from lazy co-workers not wanting to work or from my boss with some sort of side project. i guess I should enjoy while I can. I need to learn how to chill, with that being said I am going to see if I can go all day without leaving the house  again (doubtful!) Lol Much love to my girls!

I've been in weightloss/maintaining mode for 5 years, so the "dieter" in me is hard to ignore. I know my eating isnt horrible (calorie-wise, at least). I just hate that nausea is limiting my food choices to bready carbs. I am a much more balanced eater than that and feel guilty for not being able to provide better nutrition to my belly bean. Oh, and I did feel pretty bloated this morning thanks to the teriyaki marinade I used last night. I've been flushing it out today so hopefully I wont feel so blah tomorrow morning.

Ah! Now, I have found a difference between us, I can spend days and days by myself, not leaving the house or speaking to anyone with no problems at all. Just give me a good book, my TV, good food, maybe some treats and that's it. When I am really old, I will be easy to look after. They will just need to throw food at me and shut the door!!!LOL

Good morning lovelies I am operating on very little sleep so I am hoping to finish all my chores and come home and relax today and I am def. NOT answering my phone if it is work!!!! Well you all know how much of an insomniac I am, well last night I was actually tired enough to fall asleep around midnight or so only to be awaken and hour and a half later by a mysterious noise....As a horror movie buff I always let my creative imagination take over. After doing a sweep of the perimeters of the inside of my place and peeking out the window to check if my motion sensors had been activated(which it hadn't) I realized that it had to have come from the inside of my house..As i checked the front door again to make sure it was locked again, I noticed a Starbucks paper cup in the corner that fell out of my recycle bag! Whew!!!!! needless to say my adrenaline was pumping and i could not get back to sleep.

You girls would laugh at the arsenal of weapons I have hidden all around my place, I am covered if i encounter, burgulars, vampires, werewolves and I am not really sure what to use on zombies but I probably use all of the above on them! LOL Have a great day! Much love to you

Update!!!! I just got back from paying bills, getting groceries doing laundy and finally the doctors office. I lost 1 lb and I am sure i could have lost more if I didn't party like a rockstaras i said yesterday I have no regrets, I have been steadfast in my food choices and working out on a regular basis and today I am buisness as usual... i am dillegently researching how to ease into adding a few more carbs to my menu in October and I really want to keep in on the super duper low end. for now it is still my oh so boring life of lean protiens veggies and a little fruit,I hope everyone's evening is happy and healthy..Oh did anyone see Jackie Warner's Thinervention last night????  I usually are not a fan of the dieting shows but man is uber buffed now and I really like the fact that she is a firm believer of ridding houses of temptation foods, also she still allows herself and her clients a drink or two...Well girls time to catch up with everyone! I took a tylonol (the only pain reliever Im allowed to take right now) and the headache has disappeared. I'll also be loading up on water today, since Im pretty sure I didnt drink enough fluids all weekend. I was just telling Umpqua that my nausea is not as bad as it was a few weeks ago. I think some of it is due to the greasy food I've been eating the past few days. But, now that the holiday is over with, I will be focusing on clean eating. Thankfully, my adversion to veggies seems to have disappeared so I will be stocking up my fridge with plenty of salad stuff and veggies. Im really concerned about how much weight I'll put on once the winter months get here (holidays and cold weather tend to make me overeat!) so re-starting my clean eating habits now will help keep the weight gain slow and steady!

Hope you find some time to relax!

I keep a baseball bat under my bed for those nights when hubby is out late. He thinks it's funny, but I say you can't underestimate how much damage that sucker could do to an unsuspecting intruder. Good evening to all my beautiful wonderful ladies on DD My day off was interrupted by a call from my GM frantically requesting my presence at work Although i dreaded it I bit the bullet and went in. It was pretty lucrative and since I am not scheduled til thurs. I think it was worth it. It also allowed me the break from the stress of weigh in 2 morrow, you all know how much i love that!!!! Promising right now not to stress if I did not lose because I totally floundered this week with the  booze. I am such a socialite when it comes to hanging with my friends and although it crossed my mind more than a few times to just drink water instead, I just had to get it out of my system.Dinner is cooking as we speak and I will get back to my lovelies in a few. Good morning/evening Beauties Okay so I did go out for dinner after much debating in my my but my final decision fell on the fact that I probably won't be able to do this the same  time next month because season is officially OVER....Might as well enjoy while I can.

Val and the Hottie Scottie met me out and it was fun fun fun.....I was really bummed that the place was out of oysters Oh well it wasn't meant to be. Dinner was great and I was pleased with myself when I resisted the Key Lime Pie . I am not usually a sweets kinda girl but when it comes to Key Lime or Carrot Cake i am all over it! Moogy I am sorry to report i did have a few cocktails instead I am sending much love out to all my favorite girls, Danimal wants to stop by 2 nite so I will chat with you all later

 So as I sit here debating going out to dinner or being frugal and eating my chicken, hum decisions decisions, I am really craving some raw oysters It's nice to have fresh seafood options, my friend Logan bartends at one of my favorite seafood spots and it is so conveniently located 9 blocks away from my house. So I will have to post my menu later i am still not sure.

Oh I had my 15 minutes (more like 1 min), LOl of fame Friday when Fox news 13 came to the bar.The topic of conversation was the effects of the BP spill with the local beach buisnesses. well at first Val and I were like we are way too busy to talk to this guy and the cameraman was more than in the way and then it dawned on us that this is a perfect opportunity to shamelessly rope in extra customers LOL....Wish i would have taped the interview but i am sure i can find it online, I missed the majority of the segment, i was still at work when it aired but the camera was kind to me, I only wish he would have gave me time to reapply my lipgloss. Well lovely ladies I must go get some nourishment. I pretty much napped all day and now i am ravenous! much love to you all

V the only reason why I am so hell bound set on losing this weight is because I really don't belong at this weight...if you saw me you would see that I definitely have some extra weight that needs to be lost. I gained this extra 10 or so pounds in like 3 weeks right before finals...and ever since then my body has just been hanging onto it. I really have no muscle tone and there is definitely extra fat sitting on my bones than what needs to be there. It will come off...it has to.. like I said I probably am just not trying hard enough. Yesterday minus my beer intake I did really well... 2 1/2 mile run and really good food consumption! Thank you though for supporting me I really appreciate it!

Good morning lovely ladies It's Labor day weekend, which normally means the last big hurrah at the bar for us til Thanksgiving, but I am not sure what to expect well with the BP disaster which has killed our buisness even though we were no where near the spill nor oil...I can only hope for the best....Well i hope everyone has a safe healthy weekend. lol at your comment. My SIL doesnt know how to season things properly. Everything tastes so bland or gets overcooked, so its edible! :) Normally,I would partake in a couple glasses of wine, but I guess I'll have to skip out on it this time!

Yes, my Gators play today. We're playing Miami of OH (CUPCAKE!!) at noon. Noon games tend to be very lopsided games, so Im sure I'll be yawning through most of it, lol. Go Gators!

sorry your business is down. it's amazing how many things are affected by our own man-made and also natural disasters.

as for me, thank you for your concern. i am always sounding like a broken record on here. constantly recoding binge after binge, no progress. however, amazingly, and perhaps not-so-amazingly, i keep trying. and i will never give up on weightlifting, either.

whenever i have stress and TIME, i eat. if i have the time to overeat, it seems i will. i'm trying to break the habit, but since i don't have a full time job at the moment, and i live with parents who buy the foods the like and i would not want to ever stop them, i'm tempted to binge more frequently. soon i will probably have a full time job, even if it's not in what i went to school for. just to make enough money to live....can't sit home forever jobless.

anyways, i had a date, was nervous, and binged yesterday. i did overcompensate at the gym (still not enough to burn everything off, but i went) for 2.5 hours! i guess you can say "exercise bulimia?" i don't throw up, EVER, but i will exercise extra hard many times after a binge. i've had this problem for 10 years. it's hard to break.

yeah, 125 is 15 lbs away. I think i'm just gonna try again...but you know, i should just take your advice! i just thought it over several times. I'm going to make a mini goal. i hope to get to 130-135 by the end of this month.

What started out as just catching up ended up almost being a booze fest and I firmly put my foot down (not really but it sounds good,lol) and said NO MORE GOOSE for Me!!!

Although I just mentioned to geevee that there was a recent study saying "moderate" alcohol consumption is better for you than no alcohol consumption at all.
