Good Morning I headed to bed early, well rested and truly shocked that my sister's theory about Aleve(pain reliever) helps with the annoying side effects caused by TOM..It arrived yesterday and so far no cramping or headaches..STOKED.. I have tried all of the OTC menstral meds and they all made me drowsy and still crampy..Anyhoo I must call and thank her!  Got my Cardio Core and Balance class in early and it is off to prep for work.  Catch up with you all later, have a happy healthy day

Hey another gorgeous day on the beach and was super busy.. Thankful for another stellar day!  I got home a little later than the norm but I still squeezed in a half hour Stretch class. Off to see how you all are and get some fuel..Good evening

B- Almond Breeze shake with whey protein, 1/2 banana, blueberries and strawberries

L- Broiled Chicken Breast atop spring mix, cherry tomatoes, bacon bits, 4 croutons, cheddar jack with pineapple mango vinegarette

D- Turkey burger with turkey bacon, rf cheddar jack, spicy mustard on multigrain deli thin.. Steamed Cauliflower, Popchips

1 1/2 gallons of water...LF Cottage cheese with blueberries(pre bedtime)

I had a boyfriend once who was suffering from sciatica and he didn't like to take any medications. I talked him into an Aleve and he was totally shocked to wake up with NO pain!

Aleve was my drug of choice for that TOM. Always worked for me and I use it after long hikes. Helps with the aches and pains of the ol' joints!!

Good Morning Well as usual I stayed up a little later than I should have. In the back of my mind I was trying to savor the last few hours of freedom before going back to the grind. LOL.. Still got in a good night's sleep..Completed my Cardio Core and Balance class in darkness this morning..The sun is struggling to peek through all the clouds. We are not expecting rain so looks like it will be a good day.. Tropical Storm Sandy is out in the Carribean..It is tracked to go up the Atlantic so although it will be a bit breezy here for the next few days, we won't be affected in the Gulf..

I better get a move on to make sure I have plenty of time to tidy up the bar..Catch ya later, have a good day all

Back from my day.. I was a busy bee!  Love this time of year because everyone wants to sit outside.. Added a Cardio Abs class this evening, minus the first 3 minutes of jumps since it is recovery week.. Gotta keep it tame since I am starting up Asylum 2 on Monday!! I am super stoked!

Well off to see how you all are, get some fuel and hit the hay early.. Good Evening!

Hey V! Yea you're right, I know I can't stress... I got on the scale again this morning (because I have an addiction with the scale haha) and I was only up about .5-1 pound from my recorded weight instead of the 4 that was showing up on the scale yesterday.

We actually made 6 kinds from the juice we got from California last fall. We made Chardonnay, Voigner, Red Zinfandel, Shiraz, Cabernet Savignon, and Merlot... Yummy:) They should be ready to drink by Christmas time, perfect for Christmas gifts!!

Good Morning I was up pretty late last night watching my Bears beat the Lions, YAYYYY!  Slept in til 7 and completed Cardio Core and Balance class..Now I have to play catchup at get the laundry out the way so I can enjoy the rest of my day..Have a good one ladies

Back from my day! It was low key..After laundry, i came home and just chilled and mentally prep for the upcoming work week, channel flipping between  the" Law and Order SVU "marathon as well as a few of the" Halloween" movies ..I am sure I will have some pretty interesting dreams tonight, LOL

I was taught how to change a tire about 10 years ago.

Refresher courses are a good idea, since at this point I can barely remember what a jack is LOL. I would be stranded if I ever had to change it myself. Good for you for getting in there and learning something new!

I stayed up a bit later than usual last night too - seems like we both woke up around the same time this morning!

Good Morning Just kidding..I couldn't access this site from my toolbar all weekend..It says that the site is still down so I had to type in the site..I wonder if anyone else experienced the same issue?

Anyhoo I kicked off the morning with a Cardio Core and Balance class. Finally got my new tire this morning, got my groceries done and prepped, and cooked my meals for the week.. Well I am going to catch up with all of you guys after my Cardio abs class..Back in a few..

Back my class was great, abs are screaming, it hurts so good, LOL  Man is it ever nice to have my car up and running after 3 days without it..As i mentioned before, at least i wasn't driving when the tire blew out on me..It also made me realize that I have to start doing things like changing the tire myself so when my friend's hubby came over yesterday to put my spare on, I wouldn't let him do it.. I had him watch me,and coach me through it..Now I am confident enough to do this myself if I ever need to..

Tummy is starting to grumble so I am going to catch up with you all and get some fuel..I hope you all had a happy healthy day

B-Casein Protein with 1/2 banana, blueberreies and strawberries

L- Gumbo

S- Almonds

D- Homemade Pizza.sugar free pizza sauce, oregano, garlic, basil, spinach, lean Italian Turkey Sausage, Parmesean, RF cheddar jack on low carb, whole wheat and seeds crust.. 2 Glasses of Colby Red Blend

Good Morning I completed Insane Abs a little early so I have plenty of time to make a few calls just so I have backup for getting my spare put on.. Tracy voulunteered her hubby to do it but I want to cover all my bases just in case..I could do it myself but I am really sketched out about my rinky dink car jack..LOL Well I better keep it moving, I also have to get to work..Instead of stressing about getting there on time hitching a ride, I may just cab it... Have a great weekend all

I hope your car is taken care of now. If it's anything like my recent flat tire experience, you are right to line up some help - I physically couldn't do it because the lug nuts were put on by a machine and were on there pretty well. Of course you have the guns so you might fare better :) I hope it's all sorted out now!

Good Morning So I have been waking up about a half an hour before my alarm goes off for a week or so..That is not a bad thing mind you, I have no problem drifting back to sleep. However since we set the clocks back in 2 weeks, my main concern would be waking up at 3:30, that's a tad bit early for me anyways..LOL  I got my  last Pure Cardio class of the program in. And it was a nice sweaty one!  This Monday starts my recovery week before phase 2 of the program but I am thinking of starting Asylum2 30 day program before phase 2 of Insanity.. I am super stoked to take it to the next level!

Gotta keep it moving so I can prep for work so i will catch up with ya later..Happy Friday

Hey back from a crazy day..As I pulled out of my alley, my car was really rickety, stopped the car, got out, tire was FLAT on the back driver's side..It was more like a blowout and thankfully I wasn't driving when it happened..Far too late to get it fixed before work, I hitched a ride from my friend who just dropped off her son at the school across the street from me..

Work was really busy and I was going to cab it home but one of my regulars volunteered to take me home..I should have known that she would want to stop off for a drink so I obliged..Got home a little later than expected so now I am super hungry, must fuel "the machine"

During/post workout  L-Glutamine

B- Whey and Casein shake with 1/2 banana, blueberries and strawberries

L- Boiled Chicken Breast with lettuce, tomato and spicy mustard on Multi grain deli thin..Homemade onion rings

S- Gala apple and trail mix

Good Morning I am a little excited that the past 2 nights I didn't have to turn on the AC..As I checked out the forecast for the next 7 days, the overnight/morning temps will be in the upper  60's.Highs will still be upper 80's but at least it has cooled off slightly..Yes Fall has finally arrived in the Sunshine State.. Just completed Cardio Recovery class and off to prep for work..I am sure it will be a good day, hopefully everyone will want to take advantage of the nice weather and sit outside with me..

Back from a gorgeous afternoon..The majority of the customers sat outdoors with me.. Had a really good shift..Feeling a bit sore from this morning's class, I added the last 30 minutes of YogaX class for an extended stretch.. Off to see how you all are and get some fuel.. Good evening!

Back from my day.. Surprisingly it wasn't as messy as last week but I still had to organize til it made sense.. It was a bit of an overcast today and it threatened rain all afternoon but it held out during my shift so I am thankful for that.. It was kinda slow but I did pretty well.. RYC P90X Doubles! WOW! That is definitely intense!!! I have the dvds, I just need to clean out the basement to have enough room to do it. Good for you!

I gotta ask...how do you not snack at work, that's probably one of my biggest downfalls, snacking during my night shift.

Good morning   You know it never fails that I find all the movies I want to see always air late evening, last night was no exception..LOL I slept in again and swapped out Cardio Power and Resistance for P90X Chest and Back..It's been at least 6ish months since I did this class and was thrilled that my reps on the pushups and pullups increased by at least double and even more on a few of the exercises..

Keeping it short and sweet so I can enjoy my last day off for the week.. Have a good one all

Well I had a pretty chill day at home..It seems to be the theme on Tuesdays for me just to mentally prep for my week ahead..I watched the Law and Order SVU marathon for a while, chatted it up with my Sis.. Added  a Relief class for an extended stretch..

Yes, still at the restaurant...same one, TGIF... my loans kicked in full affect so it helps to have the extra cash to work with.

Good Morning great day of football yesterday..Was up far too late again, decided to watch a movie around 10, but I slept in a bit after initially waking up at the usual time.. Completed Pure Cardio class.. I am going to keep the momentum going, get some errands done blah blah, LOL.. Catch up with you all later, Have a happy healthy start to your week

Hey all back from my day, I have to say that I did really well setting out early today and getting things done.. All of my meals for the week are prepped,cooked, bagged and tagged.I tried a recipe for Gumbo that  thenewMLE was so kind enough to share with me and man does it smell really good.. In response to Friday's thoughts... I know I shouldn't have been too hard on myself about the lunch thing, I think what got to me is that the leftover sandwich was not super healthy overall, and wasn't really part of my planned lunch. So to stray with something so unhealthy just made me frustrated. I've been trying to decide which keeps me fuller longer...egg whites or oatmeal. I still am not sure...sometimes I think it just depends on the day.

I have been boxing lately, I actually really like it... it's such a great work out. The gym is really expensive though so it's tough to justify it for much longer in my budget. My hope is to get back in shape by the end of my membership (I think that's beginning of summer) and then just cancel it, so I only have one gym membership to pay for. I also was running for awhile, and this summer I accomplished one of my bucket list items, I ran the boilermaker. It's a 9.3 mile race in my home town of Utica, NY...it's internationally known. I've always wanted to run it, and this summer I finally did it! I don't know how I pulled it off since prior to running the actual race (which is very hilly) I had only run 4.5 miles on flat ground. But I pulled it off! I'm taking some serious time off from running though...I feel like my body just isn't built for it, and my legs hurt from it.

As for the job, I agree with you, female boss's can definitely be worse than men. I've also heard that she isn't very secure with the amount of education she has and is intimidated by people with more education than her... I'm not really sure how true that is...but regardless. Her very existance drives me CRAZY! So I need to just get out of here. I'm not currently praciticing law at my job, not really anyway. I'm a compliance anaylst, so the description of my job is to make sure our product is in line with state regulation...but it doesn't rally seem like that's something I'm doing that often, and none of the work seems all that challenging.

Now that I've just talked forever, how is everything with you?

Hot :) And interesting trivia - he and Uma had the same band as we did at their wedding, except we could only afford a trio and they did a quartet or quintet LOL. They got married a few months before we did. I'll have to check out the first 2 movies you mentioned, I've seen Gattaca and of course Dead Poets and a flick called Tape with him and Uma and only one other actor that I really liked. And Before Sunset, which was cheesy but decent. I think that's it - I've seen many more Uma movies I'm afraid. She's also hot ;)
