Good Morning Ladies Got the morning started out right with a Max Cardio Class.. Glad I added that stretch class yesterday, I was good to go.. I am a little bummed that my days off went by so quickly..Oh well..LOL Time to get prepped for the day, it is already 81 and temps are expected to soar.. Hope you all have a great day

Hey back from my day..It was very windy on the beach so thankfully it wasn't as brutal heat wise.. The threat of rain loomed over us all day but it never came to fruition.. Had a decent first day back.. I completed my scheduled Cardio Abs class, obliques are contently on fire..LOl  Well off to see what you all are up to, get some fuel and try not to stay up too late watching the Olympics..

During/post workout   L-Glutamine

B- Almond breeze shake with whey protein,1/3 banana and strawberries

L- Tuna and Egg Salad with cheddar, lettuce, tomato on 2 slices of ww very thin bread..WW tortilla chips

S- 1/2 grapefruit, SP fries

D- Lean ground Turkey Patty with grilled baby portabella, blue cheese atop 1 slice of ww toasted very thin bread, horseradish mustard..Steamed Cauliflower and Broccoli..2 Glasses of Red

1 1/2 Gallons of water...  Casein Shake(pre bedtime)

Good Morning Ladies I could barely keep my eyes open last night to see who would compete in the  Women's All Around in gymnastics but I did and hit the hay soon afterwards..This morning's class was Max Plyo.. Awesome class and I am stoked that this class is scheduled again this week so I have another go with the Plyo Pushups.. I have to get my heaping pile of laundry done and the rest of my usual chores done..Hope you all have a happy healthy start to your week

Hey all, back from my day..After laundry I was feeling a little wiped out of no where, then it hit me that I didn't get my usual downtime yesterday so I took a power nap before I tackled the rest of my chores..I really didn't have much to do since I used the slow cooker for my roast, made Tuna and Egg Salad for this weeks lunches and made some Patties with  ground turkey meat. After all of my meals for the week made or prepped, weighed, bagged and tagged, I got in a combo of P90 X Stretch for the first 40 minutes and the last 20 minutes of YogaX..  Off to catch up with you all and get some fuel..  Hope your day was a stellar one!

During/post workout  L-Glutamine

B- Almond Breeze shake with whey protein, 1/3 banana and strawberries

L- Quiche and 1/4 of Pecan Waffle( from yesterday)

D- Lean Beef Pot Roast in Terryaki marinade..Whole Grain Brown Rice..Raw Spinach, cucumber, orange pepper, julianned carrots, blue cheese crumbles, red wine vin, lemon wedge...Glass Of Red.Blend..

Oh, the horse "show" portion. It's one part of something called Eventing (I watched it long enough to learn that). The event you mentioned is called Dressage (sounds sort of like "massage") and I know someone who judges local events for it--and it is soooo serious. Of course I don't get it--kinda like rocket science haha!

Good Morning Ladies!!! Just Kidding I had such a kick arse day. Although not intentional, I stayed out later than anticipated for brunch.. As most of you know all of my friends have time management issues and when Chrissy said 12:30 as meet time, I knew it would be alot later.. I still arrived a little early so I could catch up with the guy I am sorta seeing that bartends there(don't ask..If you need to know, refer to Moogy, Selina,Legcramps, Biscotti, etc about my commitment issues,(not a fan)  LOL) Anyhoo I was in good company as I awaited my friend to arrive(almost 2 hours late) Thankfuly we still had time to order breakfast...It is the only meal of the day that I really don't have time for during my work week so I got a Pecan Waffle, dry(sf syrup on the side for dipping) O Gratin Grits ans Applewood Bacon.. I had 2 Chipotle Bloody Marys. 1 Mimosa and a glass of Kim Crawford Sauv Blanc and tons of water..This seem like a copious amount of beverages but I was there for almost 6 hours..Okay it was an assload of drinks so sue me..LOL

Now that i am home and safely away from all the GOOD evilness. I am not very hungry but I will have to get some nourishment,,Can't grow muscles without proper fuel..

Woo! In that gunshow pic you have your serious face! Looking good, V! I had committment issues, too for years and years.....Then Mark came along...I almost missed the boat with him, too. But I came to my senses! Thank goodness, I think. Seriously. And what is it with people who think being late habitually is OK? I have a couple of friends that I don't even go on time myself because I know they will be AT LEAST 20-30 minutes late. Oh well, we work with our friends poor habits when we can. They are good friends, nevertheless.

Hey, yeah, I was gonna message Loveray when I get a chance, too. I googled the most popular services in Lexington and it appears I'm not that under=priced. They typically charge by time spent with the pets. I am gonna "sit" at the pet homes, too. I think I will use the other services websites as a guide and establish my own website and FB page. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the encouragement! Have a great day. I am excited because it is "only" going to be 88 today and fairly low humidity! Big bike ride - here I come. I must ride off some mexican bakery cookies I endulged in yesterday!

I wonder if you caught the 39 y/o Bulgarian gymnast--guy--rings--qualified! I'll fill in on my diary. Once again wasn't going to follow men's gymnastics except for John Orozco (saw a bit on CNN about him a couple months ago) and I think I'm getting sucked into the vortex--haha! Oh well it's only for a short while.

Good Morning Ladies Just finished up my Max Interval class..What a great way to kick the day off.. I am hoping it doesn't get brutally hot out there today, it is already 80.. Off to prep for work, Happy Friday all

Yep it was a brutally hot day at work and I couldn't wait for it to be over..I feel for my coworker who had to endure a double in the temps. She was a bumming a bit when i left her...I came home and power napped before adding a Cardio Abs class..Keeping it short and sweet so I can catch up with you all, get some fuel and check out the  opening ceremony for the Olympics..As a former gymnast, I am really stoked to see this event in particular

During/post workout L-Glutamine

B- Almond breeze shake with whey protein, 1/3 banana and strawberries

L- Wild Caught salmon atop spring mix, cherry tomatoes, green olives, pineapple mango vinegarette, crackers..

S- Peanut Buttter Protein Bar

Thanks for the info on my push up challenge. I think my trainer is relatively new, not sure when she got out of school, but I know she still has to take her certification test. I'm just biding my time for the next few weeks...hopefully she'll step it up but she's ignored me before when I've told her I can do cardio on my own and want to focus on weights and strength training. I won't let this experience cloud my judgement of all trainers. I'd definitely be willing to try someone else.

Good Morning Ladies Max Recovery class this morning and I need a recovery from my recovery class.LOL  Although it features yogaesque moves it is alot more like a strength training class with all that plankwork. I can feel the heat coming from my shoulders 15 minutes afterwards.. Def improvements from the last 2 times I did this class with the one arm side plank to pushups. Hopefully next week I can get through the entire set without going to my knees.

Hey Ladies It was another hot one at the beach so it was pretty slow at my bar..I arrived home feeling a bit of tightness and as usual my obliques are screaming(taking this as a good sign)  and did the last half hour of YogaX..The kinks are worked out but my obliques are screaming a tad bit louder due to "yoga belly 7" It's all good!  Hope your day was a stellar one!

So a quick funny story I just heard about on the local news channel here about a few bars that are now offering pregnancy tests in the restrooms WT??? Hahahaha Well I better keep it moving off to prep for work, have a stellar day all

Hey Ladies back from another hot steamy day with late afternoon sun showers..Hopefully this will transition to later in the evening which is the normal pattern for summer..

Had a nice 15 minute power down before my Cardio Abs class.. Well I am off to catch up with you all, get some fuel and attempt to go to bed at a decent hour tonight..Have a good evening!

Hahaha, I read BEARS not BARS!!! It's early.... A lot of our bars have condoms out on the counter in multi colored inviting packages. I found that strange, but I guess it's better than unprotected for lack of "supplies"! I'm still from the old school that I don't want to encourage my girls to have pre marital sex, but I wouldn't want it to happen unprotected if it were to happen. RYC, I WAS watching Hell's Kitchen and MasterChef last night! That is my Monday, Tuesday TV night. The girls even remarked that last night's dinner was Master Chef inspired since I did Bok Choy. I don't know if I ever told you, but I was an applicant for the 1st MasterChef!! I went through 6 call backs and was ready for the New York personality test and interview when they called and said that the casting crew LOVED me, but they wanted to save me for the next season. I'm glad it kind of happened that way because after watching Joe be such an ass, I'm sure I would be in tears most of the time. You can critique me all day long and I will learn, but don't put me down and criticize me because I do get my feelings hurt! Anyway, the sausage crumbles sound great and I will have to get some before my crew goes away for the school year...

Good Morning Ladies   I stayed up a little past my bedtime all fired up watching American Ninja Warrior..I will refrain from talking about it since Sweetpea didn't watch it yet..LOL Although I hit the snooze button 1 too many times, I got my Max Plyo Interval class in on schedule.. I managed to do all 12 of the balance pushups at the end but still need to up my reps on the plyo pushups. There is a guy in class Chris that rips through them,I am in awe!!  I only have  a week and a half til the end of the program so after I do Asylum, I am going for another round of Insanity!

Well I better get cleaned up and prep for work, chat with you all later, have a good day

Hey back from my day!  It was a pretty muggy cloudy day that ended in rain around 2:30. It was a light sun shower that made it even more sticky..Opted out early.. Feeling a little sore, I did a 20 minute yoga class..I really wanted to do a Power Yoga class but not a wise choice since I have back to back pushup marathons (Max Cardio and Max Recovery) Off to see how you all are, get some fuel and chillax..

Thanks for the positive thoughts - but we still don't have AC - the guy came to draw up the contract last night and they are coming tomorrow and Thurs to install all NEW units - $$ Cha-ching - thank goodness for 12 months same as cash deals. It's 18 years old and simply worn out. The new units will come with some perks - I'll be posting an update on the "exciting" HVAC install details later, I'm sure (wink)!liehi

RE my muffins it's my standard oat bran recipe (http://www.fitfoodieforlife.com/2012/02/mixed-nut-berry-oat-bran-muffins.html) by skip the nuts and berries here and add 1 diced mango and a few shredded baby carrots. Great combo!

Good Morning Ladies I just finished up my Max Interval Circuit class..All pumped up now, oh yeah! It is unfortunate that more storms are expected today, it was storming pretty fierce the latter part of yesterday afternoon, well into the wee hours.. Well I have the usual Monday chores to tackle so I should probably keep it moving.. Hope that you all have a happy healthy start to your week

Back from my day and not a  drop of rain all day so all was well.. I got all of my needful things done and this week's meals are prepped, cooked, bagged and tagged, most importantly all the dishes are done..LOL I wash as I go so the cleanup doesn't seem as tedious.. I added a Cardio Abs class this evening and i am off to see what you lovelies are doing, get some fuel and get ready for "American Ninja Warrior". The finals are tonight, pretty exciting stuff! My plan is to remain calm and no yelling at the TV...Yeah RIGHT Have a good evening all!

Thanks, my headache is gone - my husband thinks that it's coffee, or the lack thereof. I had not had coffee for a couple of days when I started having those awful pains... maybe I'm addicted to coffee...

Hey girl! I hope you don't get what hit us Friday!! RYC, yeah, that guy was just a little too friendly. That's the one thing I hate about wearing a company logo shirt. I hope he is not creepy enough to try and track me down because we talked about neighborhoods and stuff like that and then I realized how easily trackable I must be. Anyway, the ankle is better. It's a problem I have always had that my ankles are too "loose" and at anytime can give way and roll. The only fortunate thing is because they are so stretchy I seldom break anything - just bruise pretty good! Friday night I did not sleep well because of the pain from the muscles and tendons in my shins, calves, feet and toes but after 4 advil, I slept until 11am Saturday morning! I got a great deal and got a side a salmon Saturday for 2.99 a pound! So tonight is grilled teryaki salmon! Hope you have a dry day!

RYC, the Shakeology 30 was sort of like Leandro's bonus classes - just Tanya and 2 people behind her alternating cardio with some targeted toning with weights. It started off slow and got more challenging with pushups, etc and ab work. It was slightly over 30 minutes with virtually no stretching. I didn't get in the 50 today, shooting for tomorrow. I'll give you a review when I do it!

Let me know about the jimmy dean crumbles - that sounds like a great lean choice. I love sausage cooked into veggies, but with spinach into a quiche sound divine! The quiche got switched to next week since I picked up salmon at 2.99 a pound! I need meat too, and tomorrow night is a once every several month treat - I picked up ribeyes!!! I still get Camelia red kidney beans. Do you want me to ship you some? They come in 1 or 2 or 5 pound bags. When I was in Chicago after Katrina, I had hubby ship me my dry beans because the light ones just weren't the same. I soak them over night and slow cook for hours. Beans were for Monday night and quiche was Tuesday, so I'll just fix it next week. Waiting to hear the sausage critique because that would be a great pizza topping! Have a great night!

Good Morning Cardio Core and Balance was scheduled today, kind of a curveball since it is the easiest class intensity wise in the program, but as I look at next weeks schedule, I see the method to Shaun T's "Insanity" LOL..It is indeed the calm before the storm so I will take it!  It is a nice sunny day here and I hope my last shift of the week is a good one. Speaking of, I better keep it moving, chat with ya later, for those of you who have the weekend off, enjoy, for the rest of you who have to work, I feel your pain...LOL  Happy Saturday all

Back from yet another steamy day on the beach..Decent day and I am looking forward to my next 2 days off, nothing in particular planned, except meeting a fellow coach tomorrow evening to discuss some buisiness ideas. Okay as I type it is getting really dark and the winds are picking up and I see lots of lightning and the thunder is really loud..I better keep it short and sweet just in case it gets ugly.. Off to check up on you all and get some fuel..

B- Whey Protein Shake with 1/3 banana, blueberries and strawberries

L- Quiche, wild rice and corn

S- Smoked Fish spread, crackers and hot sauce

S- Glass of Sauv Blanc

D- Grilled Crabcakes..Steamed Cauliflower and broccoli.. 2 Glasses of Red Blend

Gallon of water...LF Cottage Cheese(pre bedtime)

Hi V: Just checking in to see how things are going in your part of sunny FL. Getting ready to go to BJs with hubby. Also starting to prep for my trip up "north" on Thursday.
