Good Morning Ladies I am slighly hung over and I really didn't drink alot..I guess it was the lack of  a proper meal yesterday...There was plenty of food at the party(mainly apps and a couple of pasta dishes) Since I have serious issuses with cream based sauces, I steered clear of the pastas and stuck with the proteins, just not enough of them..LOL  Needless to say I am still in bed and DEF will be taking another nap before I get my day started...I am hoping to be at 60% after the power nap, I have 3 classes I have to crush today, hungover and ALL cause that's how I roll.. Hahahaha I am going to attempt to post a pic here? Okay maybe later

Well the toxins have left the building thanks to my BFF H2o a a nice sweaty Ab Ripper and Fat Burn Challenge! It was supposed to be a CardioX class but I wanted to increase the sweat factor and it was a huge success!! back at ya later

Hey all I just finished up my Chest Shoulder and Tricep class..I am now feeling 100% and starving..I had a few bites of tuna salad, some whole wheat crackers and 2 wings and a Peach..

I tried out a new recipe i swiped from Muscle and Fitness.. Roasted Shrimp & Quinoa salad.. The recipe actually called for Orzo but I couldn't find a whole wheat brand..I used the Ancient Harvest brand that was reccomended to me by LeakingLife aka Biscotti Thanks for the suggestion! The recipe is quick and simple, I roasted a lb of shrimp in evoo, basil, garlic and pepper for 5 minutes..Cooked the Quinoa ala instructions on the box..I mixed the Quinoa with a little more oil, lemon juice, artichokes, ff feta, no fat cottage cheese, cherry tomatoes and added the shrimp to the mixture topped with fresh dill, and let chill in the fridge..I had to sample a little bit and man it sure is tasty There is a recipe on the box for  Peppers stuffed with Quinoa that I want to try as well.. Well I am off to read some diaries while my veggies steam..Hope you all had a Stellar day!


L- Tuna and Egg salad, whole wheat crackers, 1 peach, 2 buffalo wings

D- Roasted Shrimp and Quinoa Salad...Steamed Broccoli and Cauliflower

1 1/2 gallons of water...Casein shake(before bedtime)

You've turned into a lightweight ;) Just kidding! How about a banana? Maybe even some recovery fuel to get things balanced out? I have 3 classes scheduled for Saturday which seems like a lot since I'm only doing one class each of the other days. I have no idea why they would slam us with 3 classes - it's 2 cardio and the short tummy tuck class. I will probably move one of the cardio to Friday since it will complement the Sculpt class. Weird schedule.

Gosh... I had a little too much of alco myself too during the weekend! But mine is MORE than 3! I know it is VERY bad.. :( This week I need to make sure I work extra hard! hugs! and I hope you hungover will go away when you got up!

You are the WOman to workout hungover! It does help to drink loads of H2O and then sweat. I used to chug Gateraid - which really tasted like sweat back in "the day" and get in the dry sauna at the gym! It worked pretty well. Good job de-toxifying! Oh, yes, I almost forgot - which dress did you wear? Where are our pics???

Pretty dress! Orange is one of Rachel's favorite colors. She wore orange to a shower this weekend. As for the tee shirt tan - I had to order a sleeveless bike jersey this week because I am getting sleeve tan lines. I don't want to ride in a tank cami type jersey, though, so I guess I'll have to deal with the "v" shape at my neck line. BUT I use this stuff by L'Oreal called Sublime that is a tinted self-tanner (because I had skin cancer I don't really want to tan too much and use sun screen) so it gives me color instantly, AND after it comes off. It helps even out all skin tones so what works for me will would work for you, too. I mostly use it on arm, shoulders, hands and feet. I wear gloves when I bike so hand stay un-tan and tan only goes to ankles because of shoes and socks. Ah, looking good is a lot of work, isn't it? I only keep it up about half way through the summer and then I just give up and don't care. LOL!

I see the tan line but also someone enjoying herself, so who cares? I am alabaster white, always have been, any sight of the sun and I turn red. Hanging out the washing has to be done before the sun hits the line and taken in after sunset, no kidding, I burn that quickly even in Winter sun. My forearms are slightly darker but not even as dark as my freckles. D is even whiter than I am, no wonder people think we are vampires! The woman over the road lost her kitten, which we found and returned and the woman asked D if she was a Goth!! (no offense intended), she does wear a lot of black. Mainly for effect I suspect!!!

Good Morning Ladies I just finished up an Insane Abs class.. 33 minutes of some killer moves.. Another nice sunny day so here so I am sure it will be a busy Friday for me.. Catch up with you all later, have a good one

Hey all!! It was pretty slow on the beach but I still had a good day..Completed a Lean Interval class..It has been a hot minute since I done this class but holy squats!! It burns so good..

I've been thinking of grabbing my weights and seeing how my knees will do with medium weighted squats. They would help my bike rides and vice versa. I used to love the feeling after squats! I can try again. Great job V! And YUM Collards!

Good Morning Ladies So I traded out my CardioX for Burn Interval class, a nice trade up as well as change of pace! The rains stopped early this morning and the sun has made it's apperance..Looks like a good day weather wise..I hope to be busy today.. Gotta keep moving, chat with you all later

Hey girls!  It was a nice day at the beach despite the humidity..  I completed a Power Yoga Sweat class and added the last 30ish minutes of YogaX for the core and floor stretches.. Off to read some diares and get some fuel..I hope today was a happy healthy one for you all!

Rikers section of the gym - those guys scare me, but nice to know your experience is good. I feel like my comfort zone is on the treadmill. I know what to do there. Slowly but surely getting adjusted to the gym.

Good Morning Ladies Today I decided to swap my Ab Ripper for Cardio Abs..It is slightly longer than the Ripper class and WOW I can feel the burn in the obliques..Burn baby burn..LOL .. My work day is uncertain, right now it is pretty dark out there and it's been raining all morning..I still have to prep just in case my presence is still requested to work inside (hope NOT) LOL

Hey back from my day off..Because it was rainy all day, I really didn't do much, just chillaxed here and declined the drinking shennanagins that was posed upon me by my fellow coworkers..It is a 60% chance of the same type of weather tomorrow so although I entertained the thought, I stayed put... I caught up on my crossword puzzles, got bored and did an Ab Burner along with my scheduled Shoulders and Arms class.. Well I am going to catch up with you beauties, get some fuel and check out this storm that has brewed into a work of art with the lightning... Hope you all had a good one!

Look at that, great posters post at the same time haha ;) Cardio Abs must be a Shaun class? I may have to check that out, Abs 10 is nice but it was a little too easy. I need something quick and painful! RE your question yesterday, the birthday party theme is going to be magic - he's all about magic tricks. He wants a cape and a wand and I guess he's getting some sort of beginner magic trick kit. However, his cake is going to be a challenge, they're obsessed with an Xbox game called Beautiful Katamari. It's the most bizarre game, you roll a ball around and collect objects, people and eventually whole cities. So I need to make a ball-shaped cake with assorted "stuff" just tacked on to it. Thankfully hubby's family knows about this game and will get it haha!

Ripper class. :) As long as it's not a stripper class, hehehehehehe... :) Though my colleague here (23 yrs-old) is attending a pole dancer class, and she loves it. She says it's a hell of an exercise, and she handles it as such. She doesn't earn money nor take her clothes off, yet she's trying to hide this from work colleagues, especially men and bosses. She's a smart girl. LOL. Oh, I think I slightly derived from the original subject, didn't I... hehe... all I wanted to say was: I LUUUV YA, GIRLIE :)))

I hope you get to enjoy a quiet rain day even though you love to push through it every day at that "V" intensity!! Let that burn settle in today as you have found even another muscle group to attack! I actually didn't have time to go dress shopping but I had purchased several dresses 4 years ago when she graduated from high school and one of them looks real nice. so I saved that money to spend on a massage on the beach for next week!!! Enjoy your day!!

Quinoa is delicious! The taste is very unique, but mild... It is closest in resemblence probably to couccous, but it is a little firmer... Each individual grain keeps its structure and almost "pops" in the mouth... Its a little nutty in in flavor and very nutritious and filling... I use it in SO many things and LOVE making quinoa salads... You should definitely try it!

On the quinoa, if you've never cooked it before I'd suggest the "Ancient Harvest" brand--the regular comes in a green box. It's prewashed so that you'll have a good first experience. I've heard of a few people who buy the unrinsed not knowing that it's bitter. The grains have a substance, saponin, that will ruin it for you if left unrinsed.

Good Morning Nice start to the day with a PlyoX class now I am ready(sorta) for my work week..My weekend went by so fast ! LOL Well I better get prepped for my day, have a good one Beauties

Hey ladies! Super slow day at the beach even with the cutbacks on staffing..Just that time of the year..Once school is out for the summer in a few weeks, we will be alot busier..We still get love on the weekends so all is well!  I completed my CardioX class and super pumped that I have yet another program that is coming out late summer which will be right around the time I finish up  Insanity and Asylum.. It is called "Body Beast"   I am Super Duper Stoked..Although I am not looking to bulk up like the boys, I just want to get as ripped as possible.. Well I better get going, read some diaries and get some fuel..

B- Almond breeze shake with whey protein, 1/2 banana and blueberries

L- Turkey Pastrami, Black Forest Ham, Turkey bacon, ff cheddar, lettuce, tomato on 2 slices Whole wheat very thin..Deviled egg potato salad

I understood that these Plyo workouts wouldn't be good for me, because of my back... Too much jumping. But this is a very good way to kick off :) Yesterday evening I was patiently waiting for the RPM class in front of the workout rooms, when a huuuge (muscle) black Brazilian beauty materialized in front of me. She said she was a prof from the gym, and she wanted me to participate in her class... She does one of those only-for-women aerobic+strength trg classes which I rather loathe (I guess "afraid" would be a more correct term here, I never liked girlie workouts, too much coordination needed, too much fashion involved). Nevertheless I promised her to attend her class on Friday :P who am I to turn down such a nice person? And since when I've been able to say "No" to a workout challenge ... :)))

The book I got for my birthday was given to me in a beautiful box. I would have been happy with the box and said so. I got the matching nesting boxes for Mother's Day, so, happy mommy and nana. I got a message from my son who is working in the far north of Western Australia for a mining corp at the moment. He said the he was lucky to have a mother like me who gave him the perfect amount of love.....this from a son who goes months without contacting me who I see about once every two years and lives only two hours away. Still loves his momma though:) He is my baby and last time I saw him I saw a few grey hairs in his hair line (he is 34) now that can't be right can it, my baby is getting grey hair!!!!! Yikes!

I wanted salmon but they were out yesterday so we settled for those raw oysters again! Goofy hubby suggested fried chicken for tomorrow night! When I looked at him like he lost his mind he promptly said "you don't have to eat the skin!". Yeah right, like just give me a chocolate eclair and tell me to pick the chocolate off and scoop out the cream! We are 2 days from goal and he is going to fail now? Anyway, I'm glad you have a new program to pump you up! Hope work picks up soon!

Good Morning Ladies Week 11 of P90 doubles program started with an Ab Ripper and CardioX. 2 more weeks and its on to Insanity and Asylum!! OH YEAH! Well I better get my laundry and some cleaning done..Have a Stellar Monday

Hey ladies!  I got most of my chores done(I usually complete them in the order of importance in my world, LOL ) Needless to say I have clean clothes and my floors are mopped, due to it being laundry day, I can see the floor in my bedroom so that was a 2 for 1..Hahahaha  I have my meals for the week prepped and I completed my Chest and Back class..Since this is the last time this class is scheduled in the program, I had to BRING IT.. Now I am super hungry so I am going to catch up with you all and get some fuel..

Well, first you take 3 hummingbirds and.....nah! It's a really good cake with crushed pineapple, pecans, bananas a little cinnamon and cream cheese icing! Think Southern Living, three layers and not healthy! I am glad I sent it off to work with Mark, but hummmmm.....so good. It is even better if you make a day or even two ahead so that it sits and gets even more moist from the bananas and pineapple.

Its week 11 of P90X for me too! Im so proud of myself for sticking to it! I am loving the results in my limbs, chest and back, but my tummy still needs lots of work. I have excess skin from two pregnancies and some belly fat that is taking its sweet time to burn away. At least I look and feel better than I did 12 months ago. Thats the important thing!!

RYC I'm adjusting my calories as I do feel I need more calories on all 3 of my intense workout days, and a wee bit on spin class days. Too focused on being below weight before my trip. Since I've started having a snack immediately after leaving the gym I've felt much better, not dragging myself down the road.

I actually had the opportunity to really sleep in this morning til 8..Yippee! I am sure it had alot to do with the fact that I was up far past my bedtime last night chatting it up with my Bestie and her hubby from Chicago..It was and interesting phone date with the two of them..They were pretty buzzed and had LOTS to say at the same time..We caught up on all the gossip and had a few drinks(lots in their case, LOL) I miss them so much and I can't wait to see them in August

I made my usual trip to the grocery store, chatted it up with my Mommy, napped and completed a Power Yoga Tone class.. Well off to see how you all are and get some fuel.. I hope you all are enjoying your weekend


L- Turkey Pastrami, Black Forest Ham, Pepper Jack Cheese with spicy mustard on 2 slices of whole wheat very thin bread..Deviled Egg Potato salad with hot sauce

D- Mediterranean Whole Wheat Penne Pasta( Chicken, Shrimp, Artichoke, Asparagus, Sun dried tomatoes, fennel, Kalamata olives, ff feta, garlic and basil)...Spinach, cucumber, mandarin oranges, julianned carrots, red onions, anchovies, red wine vin, lemon...Glass of Cupcake (red velvet)

Gallon of water...Casein shake(pre bedtime)

Good Morning Ladies I just finished up my Kenpo class and since my landlords left pretty early this morning I didn't have to monitor my spirit yells! HURRAH! Now that I have a respectable pump. I hope my last shift of the week goes by with the quickness! Happy Saturday

Yay for landlords leaving early and getting to yell. I yelled a couple of times on my bike yesterday - when cars came too close, but that's a whole different thing! :o)
