Good Morning Ladies I just completed Ab Ripper and HIIT30 classes. All pumped up and ready to get the party started!  Well gotta get prepped for work. have a happy healthy Friday

Hey ladies, another hot day on the beach and I still fared pretty well so no complaints.. I swapped out my scheduled Legs and Back class for Turbo Fire Tone 30..I was seeking out the burn in the glutes and hammies..Mission accomplished in half the time, Hurrah! LOL

I hope you all had a good day! Off to see how you all are..

B- Almond breeze shake with whey protein, 1/3 banana and blueberries

L- Tuna and Egg Salad with lettuce, tomato and ff cheddar on 2 slices of Whole Wheat very thin.. Cole Slaw

S- Mixed Nuts.

D- Tandoori Chicken on a bed of Steamed Collards..2 Glasses of Sav Blanc

1 1/2 gallons of water...Casein Shake(pre bedtime)

Great job with the consistent workouts. Unfortunately, I am not one for "formal" exercise, ie. gym or workout tapes but I admire those who do. I did, however, plant six big Mexican petunia plants yesterday and sweat something fierce so that should count for something - ha! Have a GREAT weekend.

RYC our gym is VERY small. It's a small town. They are talking about extending it a bit but there's not a long or room. One spin bike (the ones for the class are in another building on a stage), 6 regular bikes, 3 treadmills, 1 stepper, 3 ellipticals and then the resistance, pulleys, weights. And there are 2 swimming pools.

Good Morning I just finished up my CardioX class feeling energized for the day. I went to bed at a decent hour as well..Hopefully work will continually get busier as the weekend approaches..I better keep it moving so I will chat with ya later. Have a stellar day ladies

Hey girls! The day proved to be a little better than the rest of the week so no complaints. I did the 90 minute YogaX class and when I went to log off the laptop while I plated my dinner, Windows decided to install updates that lasted almost 2 hours to complete..Needless to say I am running short on time so I have to play catch up..I hope you lovelies had a good Thursday!!

B- Almond Breeze shake with whey protein, 1/3 banana, strawberry and blueberries

L- Tuna and Egg salad with ff cheddar, lettuce tomato on 2 slices of whole wheat very thin bread..Deviled egg sweet potato salad

S- Sweet Potato fries

D- Pan Seared Ahi Tuna with wasabi and low sodium soy....Spinach, 1/2 boiled egg, cucumber, julianned carrots, red onion, mandarin oranges, anchovies, red wine vin, lemon.. 2 glasses of Sauv Blanc

RYC: we got smartphones 2 years ago and were happy with them until we saw the bigger screens. Our contract is now up which is why I can upgrade. Gets delivered tomorrow. It's amazing all the apps they make for phones!

Hey all! Well my day was a little bit busier than yesterday with room for improvement, LOL.

I completed my Back and Bicep class in full "beast mode" I have to get the glamor muscles ready for the gun show as Tony would word itNice way to end the day! Well off to read some diaries and get some fuel before " The Boondock Saints" come on!  You know how i love the movies with gratuitous violence...hahahaha! Have a good evening!

RYC thanks! Different brands of pate here, but the one I buy is a store brand which is lower fat than the others. I don't eat a lot of meat so I like a dose of iron occasionally. The ingredients in this one (called Eat Smart): pork liver (32%), pork (23%), water, oil, egg, salt, onion spices. It has 106 cals in 50g which is more than enough to cover 4 large crackers (I use oatcakes).

Good Morning Nice sweaty PlyoX to kick my day off and it took care of the major cramps that I was experiencing..You would think that I would be used to TOM but every time it comes around I feel so icky and gross and I would be thrilled if it never came around again..LOL Well I better get ready for work, I will chat with you all later

I hope you feel better. The fact that you could work through cramps illustrates your strength! The bad thing when it stops coming around is that at any time it could just come back - like 6 months or a year later for one or two times and then disappear again! And when you are not expecting it you can really be caught off guard - like not having purchased products in a year! Anyway, hope you have a great day!

I'm impressed you were able to get a workout in while experiencing cramps; you'll probably never see me do that. I'm more of a 'huddle in the corner crying like a baby' type of person when it comes to TOM!!! So have you tried the new dish you made yesterday? Sounds interesting and full of great nutrients. Hi V: Sorry I can't relate to the TOM thing. Haven't had one for over 10 years and I certainly don't miss it - ha! Hope you're having a good day at CB's. Yes, I do live in the Orlando area - my mailing address is Kissimmee but in actuality I live (so I've been told) in unincorporated Osceola County. Right off of the main road are horse and cattle farms. Very pretty. Hope you feel better soon!

Wow! I'm impressed you worked out with the cramps!! I give you credit!My TOM has been gone for awhile and I DON'T miss the symptoms prior to it's arrival. I suffered two weeks out of the month where I wouldn't want to do anything but go home with a pint of chocolate ice cream. No matter how much I exercised, it was only a temporary relief for me. Good ridence to TOM for me!!!

Good Morning Ladies Got up bright and early to get my Ab Ripper and CardioX classes in  so I had time to put together one of my meals for the week in the crockpot.. Tandoori Chicken with Chickpeas, Pears and Collard Greens..I found the recipe in Oxygen magazine and what an interesting combination of ingredients..The pears are added later and steam the Collards later..The Tandoori sauce is a lowfat greek yogurt base..I've never used yogurt to cook with so hopefully this will come out tasty..LOL

Well I better keep the momentum going and get my chores done..I hope you all have a happy healthy Monday

Hey another HOT muggy day here and it's not even summer yet, oy vay, we are gonna be in for it.. I got all my chores done and my meals for the week are made.. I did my Chest Shoulders and Tricep class in.. I wish I could tell you how my recipe turned out but due to  the grossness I am feeling from TOM, I don't have much of an appetite at the moment.. I have never had Tandori chicken, but the pears sound interesting with it! I posted the recipe for the creamy black beans - they were killer!!! Hope you feel better!

You don't need a pastry mixer. You should do the straight up version using pioneer biscuit mix and use buttermilk. Get your dough almost mixed and add the old bay, crawfish, pepper jack cheese and garlic. Spoon it out like drop biscuits. The healthy version is soaking whole wheat pastry flour over night in butter milk but you could mix that by hand. I just love my kitchen aid and use it whenever possible! But you should try the straight up recipe. A little white flour would get its ass kicked with your workout anyway!

Love collards but unfortunately, they've always had the ham hock in them. My one friend told me to use a smoked turkey leg or wing. Sometimes I see them in the store but not always. Recipes sound scrumptious. Collard greens are so good for us too!!

V, I don't want to spend a fortune on a custom made swimsuit, especially as my shape will change later and I can buy some suits off the rack. I doubt I'll want to actually go swimming in Lake Michigan as it's cold, so I'll just go wading in my shorts. :-)

Namaste! :-) whoa! fancy lunch! haha laughing at the vodka. isn't steamed cauliflower the best!? i had some greek style yesterday, melt in my mouth good!, in a tomato sauce. sooo good. i will probably get some next week, too. have a great day! i caught up a bit on sleep yesterday and moreso today. i wish i didn't have to be at work an hour early tomorrow. it cuts my Sunday night short!

Thanks for the encouragement! I know I'm not there yet, but I'm just so much more happier. That Christmas picture made me realize how big I was getting. I see it in my arms, legs and stomach. But yet that morning in the mirror I thought I looked great! I never could understand why the anorexic girls always thought they were fat even when they were skin and bones and I guess I made sure I always had a positive body image of myself - even when I was just as delusional as they were - just on the other spectrum!! But the key is I feel so much better! That vodka sounds intriguing! That's one thing I backed off of the last month. I haven't really had a drink at night. I guess I will make up for it in CanCun. I like steamed cauliflower too. We have it about 3 times a week. But I really like Cauliflower Mash - take that steamed cauliflower and season it real good with cayenne and salt and use an immersion blender with just a splash of chicken broth. I serve it like mashed potatoes with grilled salmon or crab cakes or even roast to put the gravy on it. Have a great day!

Hey V! Happy Saturday!! My company transfered me to SoCal 8 years ago and it was a very easy move!! My sister has lived here for over 20 years and my parents ended up moving TO AZ a couple months before I moved out. Also, had many of my East coast friends (from the same company) get transfered as well. So, all in all a very easy move. I do get homesick, though, just about the time everyone goes back to school and the fall colors are coming out. Generally it wears off sometime in mid-January when I remember what it was like in the freezing cold....and the blizzards. Ha, Ha. That's when I call my friends and tell them how I went to the beach and it was sunny and warm.

But, I really have to say I'm thankful that I can be outdoors all year round here. I think I would miss that moving back to New York.

Good Morning Ladies Just finished my Ab Ripper and HIIT class. I am running a little behind schedule, had a late night gab session with my BFF from Chicago.. Gotta keep it moving, chat with ya later

Hey ladies, super hot muggy day and I was surprised at how many people actually sat outside, it was brutal.. Temps are still in the very high 80's.. I am thankful for the very genorous people that came to see me today as well as the newest member of my fan/stalker club that professed his utter devotion to me and says that I will be seing alot more of him since he works 4 blocks from me...Hahahaha

I was supposed to get a lower20 class in but my tempermental laptop wasn't feeling the DVD I was in a bit of a panic thinking "what if"  it wouldn't play any of my workouts so I went through my entire library .. Needless to say this took a huge chunk of time and now I have a makeup class to complete tomorrow..No worrries because Kenpo is the only class scheduled tommorow!

Well I am going to see how your day went, get some fuel and chillax

Hi V: Did make the beet salad which is very easy to do. I used two cans of sliced beets, drained the liquid. Add to that some chopped yellow or red onion. Sprinkle oregano, garlic salt (regular or sea salt can also be used), add a dash of olive oil and some red wine vinegar. I have a tendency to add quite a bit of vinegar. It gives it a nice bite. Mix it all together and there you have it. Tastes best if it is chilled for a couple of hours. It's nice and refreshing especially on a hot day (today reached 92). Good Morning Ladies  Nice start to the morning with an Ab Ripper and HIIT20 class. Off to prep for work, I hope you all have a wonderful day

Hey ladies! Back from another slow day at work.. Afterwards i had what was supposed to be a meeting with one of my fellow coworkers about teaching a "Beach Bootcamp"class featuring abs once a week to start..Her boyfriend teaches the majority of the nightly classes and she does 2ish per week.. Right now the classes are free but they have been approached by " living social" if they want to take it to the next level..

Needless to say Grace's attention span is worse than mine, therefore our "meeting" was all over the place, and all she wanted to do was chat it up about non workout related things  and have cocktails...LOL.. I am very iffy about her fickleness (don't get me wrong, I love and appreciate her free spirit ways) so before I say yes to them, I have to make sure how true they are to the commitment to all of this.. They are both super fit body builders but she can be a bit of a party girl so only time will tell..

Anyhoo, I came home super late but I still had to get my Shoulders and Arms class with the bonus round in..Who loves "Side Tri Rise" ? ME!! hahahaha. well I have to get some fuel in me, hope ya had a good day!


L- Tuna and Egg salad with ff cheddar, lettuce, tomato on 2 slices of Pep Farms whole wheat very thin.. 1/2 grapefruit

S- Mixed nuts

S- Acai and Blueberry vodka with club..

D- Lean Pork Sirloin Roast...Steamed Broccoli and Cauliflower..4 baked hush puppies..Glass of Mendoza(red blend)

1 1/2 gallons of water...Casein shake(pre bedtime)

P.S. yes i'm trying to persevere with Insanity month 2. It's been a rough start, so that's a little demotivating, but my mindset is still to "dig deep" so i'm hoping this rough patch will pass quickly!

Well, the opportunity with these people may lead to something else - so maybe just go with and see what happens. A lot of folks in the fitness business are unfocused on the business aspect which is why it is hard for them, but nothing ventured.....keep us posted on what happens.
