Good Morning Ladies I just completed my scheuled Fire60 and Ab10 classes..I am hoping to spend some more time with Tony later..My day is pretty much free to take my time and shop for the baby shower..I got some really cool gift ideas from Sweetpea and Umpqua so hopefully no one else has the same idea...So far she has alot of things on her registry list as well as things that one of our other coworker has for her from her baby shower that were duplicates and still in the box..

Well I better get a move on..Have a wonderful day

Well my shopping trip did not go as expected and it was partially my fault for agreeing to wait to go with Tracy..In the end I declined going when it turned into a "group outing"  around 2ish ..I am sure very little shopping was done and they are somewhere having cocktails...I should have just went solo early today, but as the saying goes, "You live and learn".... Anyhoo I was so ticked off, I needed some P90X therapy and blew off some serious steam with a Kenpo class..Now the world is a better place with a much calmer V

Good Morning Ladies Kicked off week 19 of Extreme/Fire/P90 program with  HIIT25 and Upper 20 classes..I had to take it down a notch with the plyometrics to be kinder to my knees..I am spending some quality time with Tony later!! Time to get some chores done so I will chat with you all later

Hey back from my day!  It started off as kinda amusing but sad at the same time.. As I headed out to the laundry, I was greeted by Richard(my landlord) I was ordered to come with him to Bob's house (neighbor on the corner)..Bob's wife had called Richard to say that there was a guy laying in their yard who had seemed to have fallen and couldn't get up.. We could see this guy flailing on the grass as we walked towards him..We could smell the booze before we even got close to this guy Out of the years of bartending, I have NEVER seen anyone this sloshed in person..This guy was on his back kicking like a crab that was washed ashore hands in the air doing the butterfly stroke! Hahaha...Richard wanted to help the guy up but I advised him that it might no be a good idea considering the state he was in, drunks can turn on you in a heartbeat.. By this time all of the neighbors got involved and sure enough against my strong urging, one of our other neighbors attempted to help this guy up and the drunk starts swinging on him so they let him lay as he screamed for everyone to mind their own business and leave him alone there til the Po Po shows up and hauled him away.. We were all pondering where this guy came from ..There are no bars in stumbling distance (there is a school on the other corner) I guess "Happy Hour" came early for him..Hahahaha!

Anyhoo I made my meals for the week, completed a Core Synergistics 58 class so it's off to see how your day went and get some fuel!!

Good Morning Ladies I just finished up my scheduled Fire45 and Ab10 classes..I am hoping to add another class later..I was hoping to have a chill day after my usual trip to the store however we have a quick meeting about the baby shower this afternoon..Hopefully it will be brief..I have a pretty busy week ahead..Along with the shower Saturday, another friend of mine is coming to town Wednesday..Anyhoo I better get a move on so I will chat with you all later

Hey back from my day.. The meeting was short and sweet and actually could have been handled over the phone but I suspect a couple of them were looking for a reason to escape their families for some girl time..My idea of a relaxing afternoon does not include work talk and a major Whinekenfest so I departed after all the details of the party was worked out.. I came home and chilled for the rest of the afternoon and did a portion of the YogaX class for an extended stretch.. I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday

Good Morning Ladies Since it was my scheduled day off from my program, I actually slept in a little bit longer, so yayyy to that!!! LOL Well the rain has finally cleared out and still no sign of the sun..We have some pretty dense fog rolling in from the gulf..It is supposed to burn off as the day progresses so hopefully it will have a better day for all the vacationers and ME...LOL  Well time to get my last shift for  the week crushed..Chat with you later

Hey Ladies! Back from my day and the day shaped up to be really nice..I ended up going to OBistro again with Tracy to map out our strategy for Val's baby shower next week.. We are having a meeting tomorrow afternoon at Tracy's to delegate assignments..Val chose to have the shower Saturday evening  (as opposed to Sunday when the majority of us have the day off )  I guess she has her reasons for this but I am still torn as to whether I will give up my most lucrative shift or arrange for my PM relief to come in early.. I just hate being pressed for time and doing things half ass..

Anyhoo we I just hope the turnout will be good although it is not looking so hot..It is next to impossible for anyone to get their shifts covered this time of year..

Well I am off to unwind a bit before dinner..I hope you all had a Stellar Saturday!!

Thanks, V...at least I feel better now...it always helps to talk with a friend. I have been on the go a LOT this week. That explains it. Also extra stressed about family members (not unusual for me, though...). How are you? I saw your photo on your other page and you look FANTASTIC. Congrats to you on your acheivement. Not only that but on your ability to keep it off, which is harder than getting there, is what I think...is for me, anyway. Love ya! :-)

Good Morning Ladies I adhered to my snooze button rule and completed my scheduled HIIT20 and Sculpt30 classes..It is pretty dark here and it doesn't look like the sun will make it's apperance anytime soon..Although the forecast states that the rains will miss our area and stay North, it doesn't look like it..It is still pretty warm so I hope that the meterologist is correct...Well I better prep for my double in any case.. I hope you all have a stellar Friday

Well today was almost a total wash(pun intended)  As I set the bar up, it was drizzling ever so lightly and although that was a true sign to scrap the entire day, however my GM stayed very hopeful..By the time we opened, it looked very promising, a full deck of vacationers and then the sky opened up around 1ish Most of the patrons were headed out the door anyways HOWEVER since I was scheduled on a double, I was told to stick around just in case the rain cleared.. Not a big deal because I would rather stick around than go home only to be called back in(yes that happens)

Anyhoo i was out of there by 4 and we all met up at O'Bistro for a not so mandatory  "safety meeting" (drinks) Hahahaha! Anyhoo I got outta there before the shennanagis started and I also had a little something to eat there too so I wouldn't be ravenous ..Speaking of which, I have to get some fuel and see how your day went!

I just checked out your profile on the Beach Body site, you look AMAZING!!! Seen the before and after and you definetly do look great at your current weight....very fit and toned :) I was thinking about ordering the Insanity program....already own P90X but I want to try out Insanity and maybe get back to P90X later. Right now, I still want to shed some pounds as well as get toned and fit! Also, what's your thoughts on the Brazil Butt Lift tapes?! Back from a busy day..I was really wanting to add a P90 class in the mix but I arrived home a little later,which is kinda expected this time of year so next week I am going to have to get all my scheduled classes complete in the AM so I can partake in extra curricular activities.. Not yet, V! I'm going to use the collard greens that I bought yesterd for a salad, after slicing them thinly (balsamic, olive oil lemon and soy sauce dressing) like my mom used to make. I have to go to safeway to get that big bag of chopped greens to make your recipe ;) how many minutes do you exercise every day after adding all those sessions?

Geez V, you're good! I played piano since I was 5! I can't play anymore because I have had several hand surgeries for tendon issues and I lost my reach from 10 notes to less than an octave. The dessert was not overly sweet. The chocolate on top was 60% cacao so it was a bittersweet. Now that I have been sugarless for 5 weeks, it doesn't take much sweetness to satisfy me. But girl, did I want the chocolate bad after smashing my finger!! I haven't craved it in a month and that's all I could think about. I wanted an eclair or a brownie or a hot fudge Sunday. But I refrained and enjoyed a sliver of the pie for dessert. The thumb is still throbbing and the swelling is pretty bad. I managed to walk 1/2 hour anyway. Glad you had a nice season opener!

My ring is just a marquis diamond - the blue is just reflections on the gold florentine band. My hands look so old in that picture... I'll post pics tomorrow of the dessert - it was awesome!

Good Morning LadiesI just completed a HIIT20 class and i feel like i should do MORE because that 20 minutes flew past! LOL I do have another class scheduled as well as a makeup Core class from yesterday. that I am saving for the evening..

Yesterday was an unecpected busy day, I forgot I had to go to Chuck E Cheese birthday party.. Man Sundays are off the chain there, millions of kids, the noise, flashing lights and let us not forget the giant Rodent mascot walking around..I made sure there was a comfortable enough distance from him. I was sketched out by "IT" hahaha Afterwards all of the adults met up for Margaritas and decompressing..

It is another chilly day here, but the temps are supposed to be slightly warmer since the high winds have subsided..

Well ladies I have lots of chores to get done so I will chat with ya later, have a good day

Hey Back from my day! It was prey uneventful, I was pretty wiped from my back to back outings Saturday and Sunday.. Not that I stayed out late either evening but everytime i break away from the normal schedule, I feel a bit sluggish when I  don't get enough fuel or rest.. I did get in my scheduled Upper20 class and my Core20 class and feeling refreshed after my day of R N R..Well i am going to see what you girls are up to and get some fuel! Upon further inspection, the label says "Valoroso Toscano" "product of Italy" and "red wine". Nowhere does it say Chianti on it and it is a screw top wine, but it was still quite good. :)

lol, too funny about you being weirded out by Chuck E Cheese. I havent been to that place in years. In fact, it was still called Showbiz Pizza the last time I went to one!

Chuck E Cheese, yikes! The one and only time I was there was for a b-day party for a 8 y.o. who is now 29, haha! I still remember how noisy and awful it was!

I have to admit, I used to only eat cheese pizza and theirs was my favorite. I used to suggest it to the kids just so I could get my pizza fix!! My palate has greatly matured in the last 20 years and I like gourmet pizzas. In fact we are grilling our own again tonight! The margaritas after were another mom thing I enjoyed! (Now I just drink for no reason hahah!)

I know about Chicago pizza, deep dish right??? Sorry V, I love mine (on the rare occasions I have it - at least five years ago! not counting when I make my own) with a thin base, it is hard to get a thin base making it at home!! As for the rodent re: umpqua's comment, I am sure that any guy who has to earn a living dressing up as a rat would not fit into our very specialised list of necessary qualities:)

When Italians immigrants or their decendents make pizzas in their backyard fire buring ovens the pizzas just get rolled into any shape and they are really thin and really crispy. They just put basil, tomato and mozzarella on theirs mostly. Yum!

Good Morning Ladies Man it is downright chilly here for Florida standards.. Temps were in the upper 20's earlier and getting a little warmer now that the sun is up..Well I didn't get to even see if anyone won that jackpot, the news has been very busy with the death of Whitney Houston..

Anyhoo the Kenpo class this morning heated me up a bit so I am off to get some warm clothes on and make my trip to the store..Have a good Sunday ladies

Update! Only one ticket had all of the winning numbers and it was in Rhode Island so I guess the life of a jet setter is put on hold for me...LOL

Man it is cold there, I guess the old people must be rugged up indoors. I remember the Seinfeld episode when he said the first people NASA will send to Mars will be the old men who sit on benches in the sun all day in Florida. Totally oblivious to the heat!! LOL I usually don't have to say this to you, but stay warm....but of course, you will because you will spend more time with Tony, he always warms you up!!!! LOL Lub you:)
