Back from my day of leisure.. Shopping complete, watched getmeback's Patriots  take the AFC championship, next stop Superbowl! I completed a Lean Circuit 38 and Ab Burner 10. Not much slated for the evening other than watching the NFC Championshp game and hopefully get to bed early since I foolishly agreed to work tomorrow afternoon.. Well time  read some diaries and re fuel

B- Green Goodness shake with whey protein, strawberries and blackberries

L- Spinach and roasted red pepper eggwhite  and sausage bake(made a loaf instead of muffins) 1 Whole Wheat low carb waffle with blueberries and blackberries,  Turkey bacon

Hey V, Here is the recipe for the oyster artichoke soup. I don't like that I put it formatted, but when I submit the comment it all smooshes together. 2 1/2 dozen oysters 1 can artichoke hearts 1 cup oyster liquor 3 toes garlic pressed 1 onion chopped 1 bunch green onions chopped 1 stick butter 2 tbs parsley chopped 1 bay leaf 1 can cream of mushroom soup salt and pepper to taste DIRECTIONS

Shuck oysters and save liquor. In a soup pot, melt butter and add onions, garlic and parsley. Cook for 3 minutes. Add oysters and cook for 3 more minutes. Drain and quarter artichoke hearts. Add hearts, oyster liquor and cream of mushroom soup and bay leaf. Cook for 25 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. NOTES

Obviously you can buy already shucked oysters.

Good Morning Ladies Scheduled day off for my workouts and I was still up bright and early..Although I arrived home at 9 last night, I was still pretty wound up and had difficulties falling asleep right away..It's cool, my shift should go by pretty easy since I have a trainee..Usually I am not too jazzed up about someone "shadowing me"  but this one is an exception. she is a drink slinging superstar just like V.. I haven't had the honor of working with anyone that hustles just as hard since Val and Danimal $$ If my master plan falls into place she will work the same shifts with me and togther we shall double the pleasure, double the FUNDS!! hahaha..Well I have to get going, chat with you all later

Back and and although my weekend is a short one since I agreed to work Monday bar shift inside(day), I am still stoked none the less!! 

My trainee did a STELLAR job today.. It is was so refreshing for someone else to have the same sense of urgency and money making skills! It's kinda rare around these parts, and for years she has urged me to quit where I work to come work with her and same when I visited her at her bar...There is no doubt that there will be alot of pissed off slackers when she gets the prime shifts with me but HEY I am all about teamwork making the dream work.This will also help me when I want to step away from the job more to focus on my career..

The muscles were pretty sore so I did a Recharge 20 class for a quick stretch..Anyhoo time to read some diaries, get some fuel and Chillax..I hope you all had a wonderful Saturday!

RYC: Yeah, I'll definitely let you know, but I'm sure on his arrival back to the gov's office, Rick will be just as sheltered in his bubble as he was before he announced for president. Hey V! Here is the recipe for the Taco Casserole. I am following sugar busters and I found this on their site submitted by a member. I didn't think I could or should do the biscuits so I bought multi grain tortillas. I'm not to sure about baking it with all the ingredients layered because I don't think I want warm sour cream or guacamole, so I am considering layering the other ingredients with the cut up tortillas, baking that, and then serving the sour cream and guac as a topping. I'll let you know how it comes out! Taco Casserole

1 container grands whole wheat biscuits ground beef refried beans taco seasoning sour cream green chilies guacomole salsa black olives cheese Bake wheat biscuits. Cut in half and line bottom of casserole dish with them. cook ground beef and taco seasoning. Stir in refried beans. Layer this mixture on top of biscuits. Layer sour cream, green chilies, guacamole,salsa, then cheese and black olives. Bake in oven at 350 for about half hour.

Hey ladies! Nice day at the beach..I had a perfect ending to my day with a Lean Circuit2  45 and Extreme Ab 15.. The weight training has me a bit hungry so I am reading some diaries and fueling up!!  I hope you all had a stellar day!

Ethan and Justin are best buds so that makes it a little easier. My commute to work was pretty long (25 miles one way on horrid interstate system). My employer paid for our commutes to support the Clean Air Act, so most of us took advantage of it. I dont understand why more people dont do it. My fare card was worth $80/month which is a steal if you think about how much gas and mileage that would have cost my car (250 miles/week)!

Yay for a good day on the beach! Our roads here are fine, my driveway was a different story. We got a lot of the ice melted and broken up today though. And yes, I found my scoop at the bottom of the container. I had to go digging for it haha. I drank a pint-sized recovery drink during the first 1/3 of class and then 2 more pints of water during the rest of the class - a new record!

Didn't update my food log because my dinner had the same amount of calories than what I planned as a dinner and a couple of drinks. Actually 50 less calories! I was supposed to go on a date and he had to work late. I bailed a couple of times on this same guy a few years ago (wasnt feeling up to dating at the time), so I guess now i cant complain! Haha. But he's not someone I am super excited about, just putting myself out there. Haha.

Good Morning Ladies Just finished up my Fire 60 class of course the longest class is always scheduled on the mornings I have to work, hahaha! I am still fine with timing, however I would have finished alot sooner had I not hit that snooze button one too many times( 3 is my max) Well time to get ready for work, chat with ya later

Hey back from my day..Work started out to be a really nice day and the rains that were expected at 5pm showed up very early..It started sprinkling around noonish and by 2:30 it was a downpour..I still had a pretty decent day at the beach though..

I didn't have any other classes scheduled so I did a recharge20..Saving the yayas for my Kenpo class in the morning I hope you all had a happy healthy day!

Good Morning I just completed a HIIT25 class..i was going to do another Kenpo class but I have a Lean Curcuit class later and since this is a new class, I want to make sure I have maximum arm strength, so no punching or warrior ninja assassin yells...BUMMER!! hahaha! Well I have procrastinated cleaning far too long so I have to get this out the way. Chat with you later

Back from my day..I had a really good class today Lean Circuit 1(45) class and thank goodness I saved my arms! Wheeww! It burns..Those tricep pushups and Tricep kickbacks in plank are no joke.. I also completed an Ab10 class as well.

Hey girl, what i called pink sauce was: chopped onions, tomato sauce, tomato paste, a little catchup, a little mustard, a spoon of brown sugar, a little worchester sauce (or however you spell that), basil, garlic, salt, pepper and a little cream (i used table cream) that makes it pink. It's not the healthiest because of the cream (i try to cook with virtually no oil though), but I made it because a friend came over for dinner, so i sauteed shrimp and put on this sauce, with rice, it's delicious. When it's just for me, I can make it with a little milk and that's less fatty.

 Good Morning Ladies I kicked off the day with a Fire45 class..Since this is the only class scheduled today I can get a little Tony time in later  I hope for a great start to your week Ladies

Back!! I spent my day doing the usual GTL, I tried out a healthier option for my protein bars  using a recipe I found in Muscle and Fitness Hers.. Key lime Protein Squares and they turned out really good!! At 70 cals, 1 g fat, 4g carbs and 12g protein per square, it certainly is a better trade up for the store bought bars..

Although I am at my goal weight, I still have goals to improve my performance, gain more lean muscle mass, get my body fat a little lower, as well as eating as healthy as possible. I am currently at 18% body fat which puts me in the "athlete" category However since fitness is not only a way of life for me, fitness IS my business so I would like to take this as far as I can go, if this makes any sense at all..As Tony Horton would say "this is about discovering who you are and what you are capable of, it is far beyond what you think you CAN DO"

Anyhoo all my meals for the week are cooked, bagged, tagged..I completed a Core Synergistics 58 class and it's off to read some diaries! I hope you all had a good Monday!

V, I wanted to ask sg! Look, you know my workout routine, and you know that I do lots of Hidro classes (aquafitness) and swimming. Now, I also do gym 2-3x a week, and I'm thinking of letting the cardio part go (right now my gym routine is: 30 min cardio + 40 min weights), and want to challenge myself with 90 min weights. Do you think the swimming & Hidro classes are enough to fulfill the cardio part which is, I know, essencial to weight-loss? Because losing weight is ONE of my many goals, but I want to be strong and lean. I'm enjoying my body right now, and it's because of the muscle I gained recently with gym weight workouts. I want to have more and more ... Anyways, I don't want to look like Schwartzenegger, ... just feminine strong, well, ya know! I'm rather anxious because tomorrow is the day to set up the new gym plan, and I really want to present myself with concrete goals and not only the general idea like before...

Heartrate is up only when swimmers don't stop between laps. That's where endurance enters into the big picture, because efficient swimming is all about endurance. The more you bear with your lungs and legs, etc (the entire body indeed!), the more you can squeeze out from swimming as a cardio workout. For this, you have to challenge yourself constantly, it's not about "swimming around like old geezers in funny 3d flowery caps". :-) I normally challenge myself by saying: "One day I'll get a kiss from that handsome water-polo coach, but only if I do some extraordinary performance :D" ... No better way to challenge a Leo, bet you agree :P

Good Morning Ladies I slept in a little later than the norm, since I stayed out past my bedtime last night.. I had a really good time with Tracy and her hubby..They foiled my plans to leave Abbey Road after a drink with insisting I go to TGI Fridays for dinner with them..We had a good time, shared some apps for dinner, spinach dip, wings and cheese sticks..My system was in shock and rebelled on me this morning, but all is well again!! 

I just completed my Kenpo58 class and now I have to make a mad dash to get my groceries before it gets crowded! I will catch up with you all later

Hey all! After groceries I chillaxed, watched a movie and napped before my AbRipper 15 and StretchX 58..I am feeling very relaxed now! I am pretty sure that I will have no problem falling fast asleep tonight! LOL V, I have no pics of me from the Peddy Paper event coz Man didn't take his camera, and I was the one with the camera and he handled the GPS device :D I took a photo of his majesty but he doesn't let me post photos of him on the Internet. Safety freak. :o) BTW I was in the same clothes as last week so... no new look to show (off!) :D

Good Morning Today is my scheduled day off from my workouts..And keeping in tradition, I was wide awake bright and early anyways! Hahaha! As far as work is concerned it is still pretty windy out there(14 mph) so I am not sure what the day will bring for me..Well I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday

Back from my very slow uneventful shift...The temps struggled all day to get out of the lower 50's(never happened) because of the winds and clouds.. I had a few brave souls that bared the elements with me so I am thankful for that..

I am meeting up with Tracy and her hubby(it is his bday)  as soon as she is done working..She worked the inside bar and they were pretty busy down there..We are having a drink or two at Abbey Road and then I must come home and get some fuel.. 

B- Green Goodness shake with whey protein isolate, strawberries, blueberries

L- Lean Turkey patty, ff cheddar... green beans

S- Kashi Go lean protein bar

Progress as of today: 93 lbs lost so far, only -1 lbs to go!

Well that was short ,sweet and painless..Fully dressed and prepared to go in, I get the call that everything that is not bolted down is airborne on the beach so I have the day off!  What's a girl to do?? Lotsa fun stuff

Hey  back from my day of leisure..I took a stoll in the neighborhood, caught up with my crossword puzzles although I still have quite the stash from my kind patrons that brings puzzles from various states/countries ..New York Times puzzles are my favorite

Anyhoo the boys were calling me all afternoon to meet up with them for a "Safety Meeting" at Harry's Beach Bar since our bar was closed, however tomorrow is a bit iffy, I couldn't justify spending cash when I should be saving it...

I just completed a bonus P90X Back and Legs 58 class and went for the burn! It hurts so good!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Literally, the wind almost pushed me down coming out of the grocery store last night! I would have fallen if not for pushing the cart-and the cart was going sideways. Then a guy hit me and ran (I was in my car) on the way home - but no damage to my car! Be careful of blowing items! Hope you enjoy unexpected day off, at least!
