Good Morning Thankfully got through my shift without rain..I just feel bad for the evening crew since they get rained out every shift.. Def not the typical weather for July..

Anyhoo Got in X Trainer class this morning, a little behind schedule so I better get going so I will catch up with you all later..

Hey V! Hope you are having a great weekend! I'm having trouble typing in my new entry. Whenever I click on add new entry, I'm unable to type anything in the box. What I do is click on submit entry, and then I click on the add comment to type my entry. Do you think I have some kind of computer glitch? Thanks for your help! :0)

Hey girl! A few other members had issues with the glitch and I am sorry I am not sure what to do so I would suggest sending the webmaster an email and she/he can assist you.. I hope you get it fixed and hope you had a great weekend as well :)

Good Morning Had a really good Stretch class earlier..Feeling a tad bit too relaxed now..LOL I am sure I will snap out of it once I get to work.. Hoping to get through a full shift without rain again..We have been getting evening storms for 3 weeks now, enough already! Rant over, LOL

heat and humidity here in MI. i finally got outside for a walk yesterday. that was the first time since last friday it's been so hot and humid!

Hey! So the turkey meatballs are really easy to make... I use a package of ground turkey (I think it's a pound), I add seasonings to taste (I use garlic powder, basil, salt and pepper... but I'm sure you can use or add whatever else you'd like), 1 egg (you could probably use an egg white if you wanted) and then just enough breadcrumbs so the meat binds together. I get about 8 meatballs out of that. Then I push a hole down into the center (kinda like I'm forming a bowl) and this time I stuffed it with spinach (I use a frozen package so I don't have to worry about cooking it), a little bit of prosciutto and a little bit of mozz cheese. Then you reform the meatball so everything is hidden and I just cooked them in a saute pan with some pam but I'm sure they could be baked too. I've also had these where you stuff them with feta, spinach, and I think it was dried roasted red pepper?

They're really easy to make, the recipe I gave you is about 150 calories a meatball and they're fairly high in protein.

RYC: For us, I hope this weather pattern kind of stays for awhile. It's not raining all day, but every bit is welcome. Sounds like yours is fairly relentless--maybe it will stave off any major tropical storms, etc. Wishful thinking sent your way:-)

Good Morning Went to bed at a decent hour, perhaps even a little too early becasue I initially woke up 2 hours before my usual time.. Had no problem falling back to sleep so all is well. Completed Ab Shredder class and off to prep for work..Catch up with you all later, have a wonderful day

Good day at work until the rain rolled through around 3..Since we always have one of the tvs on the local weather channel we were able to put away everthing before it rolled through..

Completed Relief class when I got home.. Off to get some fuel and unwind..

Good Evening!

 B- Almond Breeze shake with whey protein, 1/2 banana, natural pb and strawberries

L- Smoked Turkey breast with lite swiss, lettuce and tomato on whole wheat deli thin.. Baked Natural cheese curls

S- Fish spread with crackers

D- Pan Seared steelhead trout..Spring mix, cucumber, broccoli, roma tomato, onion, red pepper, red wine vin and fresh lemon..2 glasses of red wine

Gallon of water.. LF cottage cheese(pre bedtime)

I truly hate when I wake up so early before my alarm... I'm the type of person that normally gets a thought stuck in my head at that point and then I can't fall back to sleep! Glad you could go back to bed, and have a productive start to your day!

Good Morning So far a good weekend, had quite a lazy Sunday..Other than grocery shopping I didn't leave the house, watched movies and napped. Got up at the usual time this morning and got in an X Trainer class.. Lots of chores to get accomplished so I will catch up with you all later..Hoping you all have a happy healthy start to the week

 

Chores are done, well the important ones anyway, LOL had a nice long phone chat with my Mom and Sister... Meals for the week are done.. An hour and a half til American Ninja Warrior!!  Oh Yeah!

Good Evening!

Good Morning work was alot drier yesterday although it sprinkled all afternoon but not too severe. Finally a really good shift and a perfect day for the beach goers.. Good Morning My shift yesterday was a bit challenging with the intervals of rain that rolled through pretty much the entire afternoon..Still had a few hardcore folks that  braved the elements so we stayed open..The few customers we had were very generous so it was a decent day..

Good Morning work was so so yesterday. Temps were quite warm and alot folks(especially locals) opted to sit inside.. Still fared alright though.. Anyhoo completed Vertical plyo class this morning..Just checked the weather and Tropical Storm Chantal is no more so we are all breathing a sigh of releif here!!

RYC my knee is okay... i'm almost back to hardplay mode during ball, and still golfing. I'm starting a walking program, and by fall the hope is that I can start running again, probably on treadmill. Wallyball could be out for me, but if I can get a dodgeball team going during the winter I may not be so teary about losing wallyball!!!
