Good Morning Lovelies It is my day off from Turbo so I slept in a little later...I really needed it!! I more double and I am off for 3 days!!! Yippee  I am hoping this shift goes by with the quickness so I can work on getting closer to my ultimate goal!!

Good Morning Lovelies!!! Fire45 I was scheduled for Core20 but there is no way I could get through this double without some cardio in my life, you know...LOL!!!

Wowsers what a game last night!!! The Mavs were on FIRE(they won) it was a bit redonkulous when the entire team rallied with nothing but net shots from way downtown(3 pointers) in the 3rd!!!! I will try not to gloat when I collect from the numerous wagers from all of the trash talking Heat fans because that would be unsportsman like conduct...LOL Now they have to bring it Sunday because game 6 is in Miami Sunday, I am sure the Heat will be extra fired up at home... Crickets.....LOL!!

Well ladies it is time for me prep for my day, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend

Good Morning  Divas  HIIT20 and Core20!!! Woohoo! With week 4 of the Turbo classes almost behind me(4 more to go) and 9 weeks of Turbo Prep under my belt, I am already thinking about what's next....Well I decided to purchase the ChaLEAN Extreme...This particular workout is less choreographed and focuses more on building lean muscle through resistance and strength training I am ready to take it to the next level!!! This one is a 20 week program  YES!!! LOL 

Well ladies it is off to make that cheddar so I can purchase my next challenge!! Have a wonderful day


Good evening Ladies!!! I am happy to be home and I completed an Lower20 class and man I feel the burn in the glutes and hamstrings..Wheww!! The advanced classes are no joke!! Short, sweet and VERY effective..I even had time to pack my meals for tomorrow's double so I am one step ahead of the game!!

Speaking of game, Mavs vs  Heat tonight, game 5!! Exciting stuff and I am hoping that my girl getmeback has fully recovered so she can stay awake for the game because I am sure I will have plenty to say tomorrow morning....LOL

Your new dvds sound good. I think I'd like the less choreographed dvds. I think that is my biggest objection to the Turbo Jam dvds-too choreographed-although they are good. I am more of a plain worker-outer, although I am not uncoordinated, dear daughter is the dancer in the family. I loved step aerobics back in the day. For example, if not for my knee issues I think I'd love P90X and Insanity bc they are plain old working out (albeit hardcore - for sure). Glad you are enjoying these new dvds.

Hey lovelies I am just getting home from meeting my girl Val to catch up, have a bite and a few laughs...I managed to even crush out an AB10 beforehand..

Kathy Blue asked today as to if I have weighed lately, how is the weight going...Well the answer is, I really don't know how much I weigh because i don't have a scale(as some of you know)...All I can tell you is i look and feel amazing In fact I don't think that I have ever been in this stellar of shape in my life, and my clothes look even better now than when I reached my goal weight of 135...

Almost my entire life I have struggled and starved myself skinny(not healthy) I battled demons that always pushed me to lose more, to get skinnier...As we all know this is not normal thinking, however as a young impressionable girl I always fell for the "get slim quick gimmic" and developed  an eating disorder...

This time around I went about it in a healthier manner and soon I found myself back into obsession's grasp hardcore(just read some of my earlier posts) It was Moogy, Sweetpea and Umpqua who called me out on this and I humbly thank all three of you for that

So with inspiration from Biscotti's informative posts I started doing researches of my own and decided to take things into my own hands...I started purchasing books, magazines and any other materials i could put in my hand to become the best V  I could possibly be..I try to emulate the lifestyle of what I consider "healthy" is...My role models you ask?? Well anyone who is toned, buffed and treats their bodies like a fine tuned instrument..

For me i kept lowering my goal weight and finally a lightbulb  came on around 129 lbs(which I am pretty embarassed to say that for me that was scary skinny, lollipop head) I wasn't satisfied because I was't putting forth 110% effort to feed, fuel, nourish nor properly exercise my mind, my body...I def was not toned, just a bag of bones with saggy skin

Well today personally I say no more and when i am done with my current mission of creating the buffed monster that is already inside emerges Then when I proudly step on the scale, and whatever the number says I will happily accept...But for now I am in the zone, eye on the prize because i think that i have wasted too much time obsessing about the number...

Now I know "one size DOES NOT fit all" when it come to getting healthy, I am just sharing with all of you what works for me....

Now although I don't desire a neck like this(not a good look on a chick)LOL AnD YES this is indeed a guy, he is one of the people who inspires me, not only is he ripped beyond belief, talented ex NFL player, one of the nicest, funniest guys in show biz, His body reflects how I feel inside as well as out...WHAT A RUSH!!

I love reading your entries, especially around this time of day (it's almost 10:30am and i'm already dragging butt) because they energize me! So thanks, Fire Girl! What i'd really like is for you to bottle some of that energy up and send it to me!

Even though my post workout smoothies are non-alcoholic, they still taste great!!! LOL! But never fear, I will never say no to a smoothie that contains vodka. BOOM.

I am glad that you have pulled yourself back from obsessions brink, and I have to say it! You are always going to have that tendency so you will have to keep an eye on yourself:) I am glad you have found a place where you feel happy and also that you no longer let the scale rule your life. I have to admit that talcum powder in covering the read out bit of mine. I am not sure if that is good or bad but I certainly feel free of it's pull. I don't know if I am losing weight, staying the same or what, but I guess that I have reached a place when I am beyond care. I have good health for my age (not withstanding the mental illness, seizures and general mental and focal degeneration, non of which has anything to do with my size) and am content to be in control of me eating behaviour. Lub you angel:)

Hello again!! I just completed an Upper20 class just to get the guns ready for tank top season, gotta make sure that when I point where the beach is my biceps are bulging...LOL!! Haha

Well I finally got around to the groceries, laundry and paying the utilites for the month so yayyy for me!! I kinda floundered at the store though...I was doing so well with staying under my weekly budget, well that was until I passed the wine section and oh boy they had a few deals that I just couldn't pass up...I am now locked stocked and loaded(no not buzzed)..With the forecast giving 50% chance of rain every day this week, I am not sure how many shifts i will actually work..There is a storm brewing as we speak in the Carribean and the tragectory has it coming this way...It is a weak storm so it has not been named and I am hoping it stays that way. Good thing my rainy day fund is cushy, however I didn't expect I would have to use it so soon...

Well ladies it is off to read some diaries and grub..I crave meat..LOL!!  Marty is coming over for to watch the game later(tip-off is at 9) so I shall chat with ya later

Good Afternoon Ladies Yep I just got home from my night out(don't ask) LOL I am surprisingly in pretty decent shape because I stuck to the equal parts water to wine rule so all is not lost...

I had a really great meal last night of Mussels in a white wine garlic butter and Oysters rockefeller..Extra yummo!! I had a wonderful evening out with the fellas watching game 3 of the NBA finals, another awesome game til the very end of it!!! I had to secretly root for the Mavs cause I was in a bar full of Heat fans...LOL Actually The Bulls(Chicago team) is my team but I want Jason Kidd to get his ring so he can retire in style!!!

I am still planning to get my Fire class this evening which BTW Supercheese the best way to get the routine down is to watch Allie...If you are referring to the part where you do your crosses/zigzag knee/ jab turn...Don't turn when the rest of them (I know it's hard not to) Allie is your go to girl if you get stuck with any of the moves..

On that note I am going to get in the zone so i can crush this class..I think it ia a 45?? I will be back later and just in case you are wondering, no I did NOT get my groceries yet...LOL

AMAZING Fire45 class today as the sweat still pours out WHEWWW!! I went at it extra hard cause if you play hard you gotta workout even harder!! Now tomorrow morning it is back to AM cardio, I suspect I might have a bit of difficulty sleeping tonight after this...LOL No worries I did get a decent nap in today!!! Well ladies it is off to get some grub...Thankfully I still have food in the fridge but tomorrow I must stock up so I have plenty of fuel to feed "The Machine"

B- Glass of Pinot (far better choice in my opinion than the slice of pizza I firmly refused)

Good morning Lovelies It was so nice to sleep in this morning after a long work week!!! I am debating whether to get groceries out the way first and then nap or vice versa??? I am so looking forward to my Fire class later it makes me a happy girl!!!! I have decided to have dinner at my friend Logan's bar(actually it is a seafood house with the freshest healthiest foods) Logan called me bright and early to invite me to see him..I am sure we will end up going to see Johnny at PBG(next door to where Logan works, how convenient) LOL!!!! My plan is to keep the shennanagins at an all time low and drink LOTS of water...

My plans for Monday and Tuesday you ask???? Turbo and hibernate....LOL!! I am kinda burned out on people...It is amazing all the really personal stuff these people tell you when they are buzzed/drunk... My coworkers all say I am a psycho bar patron magnet...It is very sad and yes very true....The last three hours of my shift was spent consoling a wobbly weepy woman from California who came here for heart surgery..I entertained her for a bit but things took a turn for the worse when she pulled out her I phone to show me the 156 pictures of her 4 gerbils?hampsters? that she referred to as her "kids"...

On that note I am bidding you all a wonderful Sunday!!!!

It probably would come as no surprise that I napped the entire day away and no groceries...LOL Sometimes you have to listen to what your body tells you to do..SO I did and i just crushed out  a Fire30 class and a Core20...Just waiting to stop sweating so i can hop in the shower and go to dinner.. Although all i had was a peach today becasue my eyes inabilty to stay open I am suprisingly not very hungry, HOWEVER I am sure that I will be ravenous in an hour...I hope all you girls had a wonderful weekend...Mine is about to start right nowLove all you beauties!!!

The second part of Ab Jam is not really good for my back, but the first half seems perfect. I just saw the video - without doing it, first time and I feel OK with it. I mean, no annoying persons! :D Normally I find these fitness freaks very annoying, but Chalene is OK. No unnecessary blagh-blagh/jokes. I hate jokes in fitness DVD's because we have to play them frequently and hearing the same joke many times turns all really ANNOYING! :D

I got up really early this morning - stayed up to raad the paper for an hour and went back to bed and didn't get up until 10:30! It was great! So quiet. I have been busy since I got up, however. About the patron - she's having heart surgery, but she's drinking a lot, hmmmmmm.......I love animals very much, but I can't exactly warm up to little rodents! We have had hamsters and guinea pigs and a rabbit named Frankie down through the years, but I never got "close" to them - LOL!

im having so uch fun with turbofire!! My arms are getting stronger and so is my tummy! AND its only been a week!! Im kinda not the stuck on the second routine for the fire30. I cant get the part where its punch then turn then jump and up up down down....yeah that one but ill work on it eventually!

I knew the minute I read it that you wouldn't get gorceries! Sounded too much like something I'd say & I put off getting groceries for DAYS!! I find that I am a "needy person" magnet. Don't know what that's all about, but I'm trying desperately to shake it! Don't get me wrong, I don't mind helping people, but some people..... it never ends, to put it mildly. Good Morning Lovelies I almost forgot to post!! LOL I must get going so i can complete my last double and thennnnnn??? 3 days off Super Yayyyyyy!! I took my suggested day off from Turbo..Tomorrow  my plan is to crush a class or two after a good night's sleep..The afterburn got me again this morning.. Well time to get it going!!

Progress as of today: 92.9 lbs lost so far, only -0.9 lbs to go!

Good Morning Ladies  Crushed out a HIIT20 and an Upper20 class this morning...My arms are a bit rubbery from repping each exercise to failure...It hurts soooo good!! Woohoo!

SO last night was very entertaining and what a great game last night!! I mean what a nail biter, I guess the Heat shouldn't have started celebrating so early in the 4th cause the Mavs were NOT trying to hear any of it!! Dirk  Nowitzki??? Amazing!! Just goes to show if there is still time on the clock, NEVER count the competition out...

Marty is pretty cool, with lots of energy and a bit all over the place(ADD much??) Look who talking..LOL The jury is still out on this one, but one thing is certain, I think i have found a new gym buddy..he kinda lost it when he seen the pullup bar and crushed out a couple of sets...LOL I like his style...

Well lovelies, time to get a move on, I must prep for my double today...It is 75 degrees right now and the highs are expected to be hotter than normal 93 so I have to make sure to bring lots of hydration...Have a wonderful day!!! I shall talk to you after my shifts

LOL... I'm going to check my Turbo today, and going to put myself on a trial period. If it works, I'm buying the TurboFire as well! Do you think it's good for me, in my condition? I can't jump too much. Whenever I think of jumping, my agility plan comes to my mind, that went astray because of this situation, and I get really annoyed by this fact. I elaborated this beautiful plan of running, and skipping rope, etc. and no can do !!! :-(

That's a lot of ab work, V!! You asked me about Chalene - I appreciate what she does and that she is so positive but she is a mite "perky" for me. I have a dry sense of humor. But seriously, it is very hard to do what she does for the masses. She is growing on me. :o) that said - she is Rachel's idol. Have you taken her 30 day organizational challenge on - line? It's must be very good. It changed Rachel's life, seriously. Rach is so much more together (although she still isn't real keen on keeping her room straight - but then again, neither am I!!) But she runs other parts of her life so much better. So I think I like Chalene most as personal coach rather than fitness instructor - but I am an old lady and like I said - she IS growing on me.

That HIIT is totally off the charts. And I think I am finally experiencing the whole "afterburn" thing. Like when I lay down to go to sleep at night and I can literally feel my whole body burning!!! It's awesome!
