Good Morning Lovelies!!! I got home super late last night and still woke up kinda early (7am)  I went out with my girls who are in town and the rest of the crew in hopes of not getting any grief for not hanging out with them today...I am super amped to play with my new toy I am getting today(speed bag) and you know I am over the moon  cuocoo for cocoa puffs psyched to order my advanced Turbo classes...LOL

If all goes as planned and my finances are in order, next week I want to get the Chalene's Extreme Lean Challenge too This workout is less about moves and more about getting insanely ripped..... Woohoo!!

Last night Val gave me an awesome idea as to a great start to making my dream a reality and I will tell ya all about it later today!!!! OOOh V met a really cute boy last night, his name is Zackary...He is a local ( Gator alum Sweetpea)  He is 25ish?? Kinda frat boyish though, but I will try not to hold that against him

LOL!!!  I hope to see him soon, we didn't get a chance to exchange information(he knows where I work)  because there was Major cock blocking done last night from his friends as well as MINE....BOOOOO!!

Don't hate the player, hate the game, just sayin!!! LOL

 Okay time to get my day started....

Hey Divas!! Mission complete(sort of) I purchased my advanced Fire workouts and resorted to getting a self standing Punch Bag because ALL the stores were out of the Speed Bag

It's all good, I have one on back order and at least i have something to punch!! LOL

So I get buisiness cards everyday with job offers and I am just not that 9-5 kinda girl. we all can't be that way...Val mentioned to me last night about the possibility of stopping in to see my bar patrons who own 3 Shapes in the area to pitch my Turbo workouts to...BRILLIANT!!

That would make me the happiest girl ever!!  My day is complete and now it is off to see what gives with you all here and EAT...With nothing in the fridge this is what I consumed today

I think I'd like to see that Lean Challenge especially if it's more about muscle definition> I kind of get fed up with some of the moves on some of the dvds, but I need to get to my goal weight before I can think about it and it may be "awhile"...LOL! Hey - may I suggest you talk to my daughter about your goal.....she has some good ideas on things like this.....

Believe me (LOL) she is always willing to give her opinion and advice to fellow BB devotees. She and I have already SAID (among ourselves) that we think you will make a good BB coach! I haven't seen her yet today - but she'll be around eventually and I'll tell her you want to talk soon. She always checks FB.....

Good Morning ladies!!!  I was going to take my scheduled day off from Turbo but i was craving a HIIT class so instead of doing the Tone20 I opted for 20 minutes of Fire Drills...WoooHOO!!! LOl I know I am an insaniac!!!

So I am ordering the Advanced classes tomorrow, they include Fire60, HIIT30, Lower20 Upper20 and an amazing Ab10class that I can't wait to test out!! I am feeling that I should always keep my workouts fresh and challenging so along with the Speed bag I am purchasing as well I think this should up the ante so i can mix it up even more!! Congrats to Shell2418 and Supercheese (they ordered Turbofire) I promise you this will be the best fitness investment ever, you will get your money's worth and then some!!

Well girls i am gonna get a move on so I can tackle this double!!! I can't wait to have the next few days off!!! Much love to you

Yes, I am impressed by how good a core workout the Turbo Jam is. Right now (and maybe forever) I need to keep practicing the moves so I can advance. I need to stick with the same workout at least 3 times. I will say I think the "more advanced" classes are actually "easier" bc the flow is better. I am all about the flow. Being a former aerobic instructor I am very picky and I find myself wishing that I could still teach so I could do classes like this. I kind of loss track on DDs for awhile - how long have you been doing the turbo dvds?, anyway? For me it's been about 3 weeks and my progress has been hindered by relying on neighbor to come, too - it was her idea, after all, but I've given up relying on her. I'm doing them regardless. even doing the dvds 3 times a week I can see and FEEL a diff in my abs! At MY age - amazing! Heck - at ANY age!

GOODMORNING!!!! I just completed my scheduled Fire45 and my makeup Sculpt30...Let me tell ya, it was well worth getting up a little earlier to Crush it...

I have my usual back to back Friday and Saturday doubles and although "season" is officially over, it has still been quite busy....I am hoping my evening portion goes by smooth because my partner in crime/co bartender will be out for a few months because an idiot drunk driver who veered over into oncoming traffic and struck Chris's car, totaling his car and rendering him helpless to the point he has to stay with his folks until his broken ankle is healed( his apt is on the 3rd floor) he can't drive either so his mom has to chauffeur him around everywhere...Luckily they both teach at the same HS but man what a pain it must be to be at the mercy of everyone else.... That is all I am going to say about that BUT you all know how I feel about this subject

I just got home and i should have got out of there alot earlier However my co bartender Warren doesn't have the speed nor efficiency level as Chris....It is not his fault, i really can't compare the two becasue Chris and I have worked together for the past 6 years so Warren just needs a little more time with me so he can finess and amp up his level for high volume.....

I had to do a mandatory drink with my girls from NY and as i state yesterday, i really feel horrible about not spending quality time with them so I was a bit relieved when the girls were pleasantly tipsy and when i made my Ninja Assassin move outta there I was under the radar...LOL  Well I am off to unwind read a few siaries and THEN shut down the Machine for a bit for an early Am Fire class

B- Sugarless, "vegan" blueberry muffin, 1 plum

Yea V where I work it's located in a place called the Villages, it's a BIG retirement town. Lot of people left before or on Easter and now that it's getting warm out the rest that aren't year rounders are leaving town. The only bright spot is that leave me more time to walk laps in the store LOL

Good Morning lovelies This is my absolute favorite part of the day!!! I wake up every morning and feel so blessed and thankful that I can get a nice workout in to make my day!!!! Today's class was HIIT25 HURRAH!! I plan to do the scheduled Fire30 and Sculpt30 after my shift....I am so ready for the day that fitness is a career, it is already a lifestyle for me

Hey ladies!!! I am back and sweatier than ever!! LOl I just completed a Fire30 and due to a surprise visit from my girls that live in Rochester NY, I am a bit sad that I didn't get the sculpt class in, however I will be getting up a little earlier for a makeup class after my regular scheduled class...Hey you pay, you play! I felt a bit rude when I parted ways with them but I AM ON A MISSION....They will be here for a week so I am sure I will see them a few times before it is all said and done....

My current goals have been updated on my bio page but my "Idea Career" would be the honor and privlige to work for Beachbodies right along side of my hero, mentor and constant source of pushing myself to the limits and beyond, Chalene Johnson(Turbo Fire creator and master guru) Now it is time to feed the fire and catch up with you lovelies here!!! I updated yesterday's entry with my workout. Yesterday's session was long. Normally, they are 30 minutes, but he worked with me for 60 minutes since he didnt have another appointment after me. We did a 45 strenght workout, then he showed me alternate ab work moves (most of which I've done before), and then went over my workout to make sure I could read his chicken scratch. By then, it was 740pm and I hadnt even done cardio yet. Thats why I spent such little time on the elliptical. I wanted go longer on it, but I still had to go to the store afterwards (which takes some time since I like to browse for sale items, lol). I didnt get home until 830 and didnt get to eat until 9pm!!!

ANYWAY, Im hoping to be like you one day - fitness as a lifestyle and turning it into a career!!

At my age there aren't alot of people who like to do the same kind of things - hike, bike, Zumba, Turbo, etc....but I have found a few others - keep working YOUR beachbody and it will happen.

Good Morning Divas Fire55 class completed and I was a bit concerned about my energy level because I didn't sleep much.... I should have know better when I went mental with the back to back HITT and Fire class last night and I experienced what Chalene explained in regards to the "afterburn effect"..

I was in bed say midnightish( pretty early for me) when my heart rate sped up a little and I could feel my insides working overtime burning those calories!!! No complaints here! Chalene says and i quote " don't be surprised if you find your heart rate excellerated throughout the rest of your day/evening because of the intense cardio...This sensation is not in your head, it is LEGIT" Although it took a little longer to amp up for my 55 minutes of cardio, I had the same endurance and intensity as usual!!! Wooohooo!! However  NO MORE evenings of dual cardio classes unless I have no other choice!!!!! LOL

Well ladies time for me to mentally prepare for the mess/disarray at work, time to go play "Bad Cop" ( I am so coaching my GM to do this but his cojones aren't big enough!!! LOL )

Hey Divas V's back!!! Well my day went as expected with chaos and disorder and I really wanted to rip some slacker's heart out and show it to them, I refrained!!!!! This makes me want to get to my goal of becoming someone who "serves" the public for the good  as reality quicker..

I went out after work with Val to discuss this issue not only for her, but for me as well....Yes we had a few drinks and NO i will not do this on a regular basis because my goal that seemed so far far away is right in front of me now along with Chalene's constant urging to dare to go for it!!! SO near my reach...With every Turbo class I take i get stronger, my moves are on point and dammit I look AMAZING!!! Wooohoo!!

Reach for the stars ladies, and a quick reality check for those who are not familiar with me last year at this time, I weighed 230 lbs...How ya like me now??? The impossible IS possible, just saying.....

Sometimes I have problems falling asleep after my gym workouts. I tried giving up coffee to see if that helped me fall asleep quicker (and it did!), but I just cant give up my coffee. I guess another option for me would to drink decaf on the days I workout at night. Sigh.

I looked up the turbo and thought it was kindof expenisve considering I have bad cordination but now seeing your success idk maybe I should give it some more thought. yes what is this jetfuel you mention? LOL and more LOL on the boss issue. Do NOT ever tell your boss that if they had more of a spine people wouldn't walk all over them. It leads to not pretty results trust me on this!!!

ah see my boss is in her mid twenties. and just doesn't have the professionalism one needs to be a store manager. she brings personal crap into work. drives me nuts. also drives me nuts watching her drink soda all day today lol although she said she once had a eatting disorder and I notice she eats and soon after goes to the restroom. maybe that's why she's super skinny. idk.

Good Morning Lovelies Oh yea nice to be back!!! I got up at the usual time and started to unpack so I wouldn't have to live out of my suitcase like I usually do for a week...LOL!!! I must now go about the task of groceries just in case the Zombie Apocalypse that Moogy speaks of happens I would be well hydrated and armed but I would be forced to eat the Zombies and I suspect the undead wouldn't be very tasty nor nutritious!!! LOL!  I am so amped to get a really sweaty Turbo session in, I missed my two a days on vacation so I am gonna Crush 2 classes today!! Woohoo!!

Hey girlies!!! Back from my day, just completed a HIIT20 and a Fire30 class and life is GOOD I went a bit mental with my cardio but Boy was it great to release a few Turbo yells, LOL

Well I did get a few groceries, not as many as usual because I had intentions of picking up my check from work but "Jim the Drunk" gave me a call first inquiring when I would be back because all hell broke loose while I was away, he said that everything fell apart and was a bit in shambles because of all the slackers....I am sure my GM has plenty to say so decided I was not quite ready for work related issues just yet but tomorrow it is time to crack that whip!!! LOL

My meal today is a bit random and all over the place, I was really down to the bare necessities and when I went to get something to eat this morning/afternoon, my selection was water, Celsius, Monster, ff feta or Beer.... Still in vacay mode I grabbed a Shock Top (beer) took a sip and had to stop myself...LOL I put the beer back and put it to good use for my Chilli and a little in my marinade for my sirloin chops....

I am now gonna grab some chow and read a few diaries....

B- sip of beer 4 baked tortilla chips(sample at the store)

L- Hot italian turkey sausage, 2 tbsps potato salad

D- Chilli 1/2 slice of sf "vegan" cheesecake

Yeah, V - I am diggin' the Turbo Jam. I did a new section this morning - forget what it's called, but it's the best so far. I "got" more of the moves this morning and it was a great ab workout. I can see why you like it so much. I love being all sweaty and then going upstairs and getting directly in the shower. Sorry to hear you suspect your mom is in a bit of a decline. It could be the start of something, but there could be other reasons she is a little "foggy" at times-combination of prescriptions, maybe. You'll get to the bottom of things. As far as being ithe "bad guy" - well, too bad siblings see it that way. It's also their way of denying anything is wrong. I have not been one for denial much when it comes to things like that at least. But maybe they aren't that strong. Plus it's easier to think things are OK. Good your dad sees what you are talking about. I had to laugh, though - our smoke detectors are without batteries at our house right now! Gotta get husband working on that! Tear it up today!

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom, that must be incredibly frustrating to know that there are issues that could be addressed but no one is taking the initiative... I agree with Moogy, be the "bad guy" if you have to because in the end she'll be better for it.

He asked me where something was and as I went to show him he got close and I almost freaked...I could see him leaning in for the bite and everything. yay for overactive imagination.

Hey Ladies!!!  Got a HIIT25 in before my ride to the airport...I might get a chance to give you all an update before my arrival home this evening, just wanted to stop by to say hello!!!


Hey girlies!!!! V is back in the Sunshine State I was feeling a bit perplexed by my time spent at my folks....Long story short, my Mom has developed a hearing issue as well as forgetfulness that should be addressed but no one(other than myself) has the balls to stand up and say something about it... I pulled my sister to the side to try to reason with her about this matter, but of course I am always labeled "the bad guy"

I guess if my siblings took the time to spend with her they too would see that there is something just not right about Mom.... It was frightening to wake up to a smoke filled room with a pot in full blaze in the kitchen, even worse the smoke/fire alarm not going off because it wasn't attached to the battery(does this happen ALOT?) I really wanted to take my mom to the doc to get her hearing tested and then she went ballistic on me so I had no other choice but to back down...

I am sure there are a few questions in your heads like "does anyone else see this?" " Is my Dad concerned?" and the million dollar question "what happened to the Leonardo Dicaprio look alike"???? LOL

Well the answer is yes, yes and he wasn't witty enough....LOL!!!  Seriously, it is very disturbing to see a very vibrant, intelligent passionate woman to suffer silently when there is indeed help available.... It is was quite the reality check to see that even "Wonder Woman" is not immortal.... I have alot more to say about this issue but I think I have said enough...My heart hurts

I can't believe that no one else is helping your Mom when she is obviously deteriorating. I can understand your frustration, anger and concern. I can only suggest that you really do be a 'bad guy' and nag until one of your siblings (or maybe a couple) get your mom into the doctor's for diagnosis. Surely she can tell that things are not right, I mean I know that there is something wrong with me and I am glad that my daughter keeps an eye out!! I am so sorry that you are having to worry about this and knowing that you are too far away to keep a watchful eye out on the situation. Lub you angel!! I am glad you are home, safe and sound. Oh! and I knew the guy wouldn't measure up!!! It's my maternal instinct, it's still working!!!! LOL

Hey Girlies!!!! I am checking in with you lovelies just to say hello!!!! I was fortunate enough to get a Fire55 under my belt this morning, and since then I have napped my day away.... I wont lie to you this snail's pace is starting to bore me to tears a bit.... Dont get me wrong I enjoy time spent with the fam BUT I am a girl on the go and this is starting to drive me nuts LOL!!! Sorry  Mom is back so I must leave ya...I will be back tonight..

Yes! I can't stand the pace of some other peoples' lives. It takes a long time to adjust and I can't tolerate long. I am very set in my ways. My parents are so rigid and set in their ways and I hope I do not get like that in my advance years, but I'm sure I'll drive my d crazy just the same.

Yeah he loves his little brother all ready! It is ADORABLE! Every morning he comes downstairs and looks all around for "baby Ogan" LOL. I really do feel like my life is complete now with my man and 2 boys...couldn't be happier! As for the 10 pounds ohhhh they will be tough! I lost 14 pounds from having the baby/hospital stay and now the weight I'm losing is from my uterus shrinking back to normal/ breastfeeding. Of course I also have a little pooch leftover from the baby that I'm going to have to bust my butt to get rid of! Before I got pregnant again my goal was 150 so once I reach my pre-pregnancy weight of 155 I am going to change it back to that and shoot for that number. My main goal is to get everything tightened up and toned again! I cant wait til these 6-8 weeks are over and I'm recovered enough to workout again ;) Sounds like you are on Turbo-Fire literally...you go girl! Keep it up!!!

Hey lovelies!!! I am back from my day!!! I guess I should start with the Turbo classes....Well the good news is my Sis not only completed the Fire 30, she also stuck it out for a Core20!!! And now for the not so surprising bad news.....My Sis thinks that both Chalene and myself are PSYCHO!!! LOL There were lots of colorful words used to describe us during the workout, but her biggest critique was there was too much choreography to absorb in the Fire class....She really liked the Fire Drills though!!!

I actually see her point because she is also a perfectionist so when I told her that she didn't have to get all the moves down to a Tee and as long as she keeps moving she would still burning a ton of calories, she not only stuck it through but she was willing to do another class with me She really liked the tone class alot better!!! I am almost certain I can convert her before I leave on Monday...LOL!!!

After our workout, we had lunch and awaited(me anxiously) for her little ones to get out of school...I love to play and it seems the older they get the more I like the toys!!! LOL Their current "IT" toy is WII  Just Dance...Their jaws dropped to the ground when I crushed that Thriller and Beat it video....Hahaha!!!!  We also took  a drive to see my Nephew off to prom(it is a big deal around here)

Well girls, I am off for some drinks!!! Gotta enjoy the last few days til it is back to the grind!!

B- Monster, 3 jetfuel caps
