Hey Lovelies!!!  I woke up still feeling a little spent from my long weekend so I am doing my Fire classes when I return from my shift this evening With this being week 9 of Turbo Prep my plan is to destroy every class!!! 6 more days til vacay!! Wooohoo!!

Hey Divas, I just completed my Fire55 class and still quite sweaty!! As I mentioned since this is my last week of Turbo prep, I am aiming for class valedictorian so I am going hard with EVERY class!!! Wooohoo!!  I had an extra added push of motivation after seeing one of my favorite fitness models on May/June's cover of Muscle and Fitness hers mag...Amanda Latona

She has some of the best abs in the biz....I mentioned to Sweetpea and Umpqua that I am aiming for rock hard abs and this issue is filled with amazing workouts for MAXIMUM leaness!!

See what I mean??? I bow down to greatness, and this is truly impressive!!! Well ladies I think the profuse sweating is over time to hop in the shower and have a little bite... I am going to catch up with all of you lovelies here in a bit....Life is GOOD!!!

B- banana jumble, 1/2 apple

L- Spring mix with onions, chicken, turkey bacon, ff cheddar lemon wedge, red wine vin, 4 crumbled tortilla chips on salad

D- 1 stuffed cabbage leaf , romaine, cucumber red onions, ff feta, sunflower kernels, red wine vin lemon wedge...2 glasses of Pinot Noir( I have to drink it before it turns, what a pity..) LOL

1 gallon of water, 3 jet Fuel caps pre workout snack

Progress as of today: 92.9 lbs lost so far, only -0.9 lbs to go!

BTW, did you ever talk about what exercises you did before Turbo Fire came along? I cant remember! Anyway, I'd love to know more about your old exercise routines before you got turned on by Chalene's workouts. My guess is that some of it involved P90X and weightlifting at the gym. If you did weights, what was the highest you ever lifted/pressed (arms and legs)?

lol, I remember your makeout sessions, but didnt recall much of your workout details. I guess that tells you what my priorities were when I read your diary back then, hehe. :)

So, what do think of today's gym workout? I created it myself since I had no trainer to rely on. I experimented with lighter weights and ended up adding a little more weight to make the workout more challenging. I think my triceps are going to be killing me tomorrow, lol.

Ok, off to the showers. I reek!

Oh yeah, Amanda girlfriend looks like she hits some weights, ya think? Good role model to aspire to...you go. I hope to graduate from Turbo Jam to Fire sooner or later. Right now I am just lucky to get the moves down on the correct side! It seems like it's a little easier every time every time, so I have hope. Strength and endurance is not my issue - learning the moves IS! Is fun, though. I am slowly becoming a BB convert. I must say I prefer working out in a gym with other people, though. I don't like doing it in my basement as much. But saves on gas and time! So maybe I'll adjust to a new "norm". I DO LIKE to sweat!

Sorry if something I said sounded like I thought you were doing Jam. I know you are doing Fire. It's me who hopes to graduate from Jam to Fire = at least eventually. Right now I just want to get used to the moves. Altohugh I've taught all kind of aerobics and did Zumba for awhile, even took kick boxing, the Turbo jam moves are really different (good) and I know they will build on to go to Fire, so I just have to keep practicing!

I'd love to see you!! A weekend would be best for me so that hubby can watch the boys. I'll have to get back to you on which one would work best. Hubby's job just gained a huge client so he may have to work a weekend or two to stay on schedule with their first big project with them. I'll talk to hubby about it and I can email you about the details! :-)

Not sure if you knew this, but I used to get up at the crack of dawn to go running a few days a week. Running in the hotter hours of the day gave me heat exhaustion, so the best solution was to run before the sun came up. Anyway, now that Mason is here, Im unable to do that because his current sleep schedule only allows me an average of 4-5 hours of sleep per night. He wakes up at twice for nighttime feedings, with one of them being at the crack of dawn.

Since Im getting so little sleep right now, I rather my body get every ounce of rest it can at night since Im already working my butt off at the gym 3 day/week. It really sucks that Im not able to get my running or dvds in right now, but I think I rather give my body rest than to sacrifice even more sleep. You know, part of me wonders if lack of sleep is part of my weightloss problem right now. Im so used to getting 7-8 hours of sleep and dropping down to 4-5 hours may be limiting my recovery time.

The good news is that I have free time on my evenings off from the gym to get extra cardio in and Im able to do daily 3-4 mile stroller walks in the mornings. Its not ideal, but its better than nothing. At some point, Mason's eating and sleeping schedule will shift and I'll be able to start doing dvds and runs in the early AM again. Getting a run or HIIT workout done is the second most awesome way to start of the day! ;-)

Good Morning Lovelies!!!! I survived my long crazy weekend!!! Woohoo!! I am shocked that I am awake and full of energy, so after my post I am going to get in a nice sweaty HIIT20 class in before I start my day!! If all goes well I can at least get my groceries done before my mandatory class( for work) that starts at noon.. I am looking forward to having a day of indulgence with my fellow co workers, and it will be nice for someone to serve US!!!  Sorry I haven't had the opportunity to check in and respond to you girls, but I am off on Tuesday so hopefully I can get caught up then!!!

Of course, by the time I check out the fabulous beach it is dark and all I see are flickering lights, they were pretty though. I suppose there are worse places to work V, hope you made it through with a smile on your face and dollars in your cleavage!!

Good Morning Lovelies I got a Sculpt30 class in and decided to save my long Fire class for tomorrow, I am going to need that extra boost to get me through the last big event before Summer at the Beach..."Sports Fest" is invading our beach tomorrow and although it brings in TONS of revenue for the beach it is a bit of a nightmare at the same time....It is an all day event of companies in the area competing in team sports...It starts at 7am ish and they start serving booze at 8am...Since our place is one of the sponsors, we have a tent set up on the beach to serve the masses.......Now we all know the results of when you mix a long day of drinking out in the hot sun without proper nourishment will give ya...LOL

I got up pretty early this morning to catch what everyone was wearing at the Royal Wedding.....If only Alexander McQueen were still alive, he would be amped!!! I am a huge fan of hats and there were plenty of them a few faves, the chick in the orangish Gucci dress in the hat that was dangling from the right side of her head, Victoria Beckham, and Beatrice was rocking a very dapper one!!!

Okay I must get going before I make myself late, I can talk about fashion all day, LOL!!! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!! I will check in with you lovelies much later Enjoy your weekend!!!!!

Long day of drinking - resulted in my winning $10 for smoking a cigar one time!!! A lifetime ago... LOL! Regarding the wedding = some of those hats on the side of the heads were "OK", and some - not so much! I saw this one commentator even, and you could see the elastic strap hers was attached to through her hair! Where was her stylist????? THE dress was wonderful,I thought. It won't look outlandish when we look back on it years later like Diana's "meringue" dress does in my opinion. Will looked great and the whole thing just had a good air to it. I only watched enough to get the gist of it. Thought the Queen Mum looked smashing. Pippa looked good, too should give her a leg up to "marry well" herself!

Good Morning Ladies I just completed my Fire 55 now feeling mighty fine!!! Wooohoo!!

I am watching the news and hoping all of the girls that were affected by the storms are safe and sound...It seems that Alabama got hit the hardest and Hackersdiet I am thinking of you and your family!!! Local crews from the power companies here are headed up to assist those in need and it is a bit refreshing to hear something good coming from such a tragedy!!!

I am not sure what to expect with the weather here today, the same storms are heading our way but after hitting the gulf, it has weakened tremendously!!! Right now it is super sunny but this time of year that can all change in a heartbeat... With that being said I better get a move on and prepare for the day, I shall talk to you all a bit later, much love to you all

 

Hey girlies!!! I am a bit late, I just completed my Tone20 class and I am feeling great!!! Woohoo!! 1 more day of the Inferno Plan and Monday will be my last week of Turbo Prep! Hurrah!!

Well the storms that were expected to roll in this afternoon is still out in the Gulf brewing!!! It was extra hot and extra sticky today...YUCCCK!! I am hoping that my appetite will arrive, when it is this hot and muggy, food does not sound appealing but I must put some fuel in me!!! Well girls I have to get a nice cold shower, I just wanted to check in with you lovelies to see how goes it....Have a good evening!!

I know what you mean about the hot weather. I never feel like eating or cooking, but, the body does need to be feed and I can't see you reaching for an easy option carb snack. Stay safe and cool sweetheart (I know it is hard when you are so damn HOT as in SIZZLING BABY!!) Lub you:)

I think you might have mentioned before, but what is the jet fuel? My brother in law gave my husband jacked 3d for his birthday and I have been taking a 1/2 scoop before a lot of my workouts and WOW it is a total energy booster... I'm questioning how good it is for me though...

thanks for the info! I do know that jacked has a little creatinine, honestly it wouldn't have been my first choice for a supplement, but since it just showed up at my house I decided to take it! I have no heart condition, so I'm down for any and all stimulants... LOL!! I will definitely have to look into some of those others you mentioned and I'm going to check facebook right now!!

Good morning Divas I hope you all had a restful evening!!! I sure did!!! With Fire 45 completed already, I am looking forward to that HIIT class tonight!! Wooohoo! I am digging the two adays of cardio it certainly helps with getting leaner....Tom made a sneak attack over night and I am armed and prepared to Turbo the bloat away!!! With my mini vacation 11 days away, I am gearing up for it!!! Perfect timing with Turbo prep's completion the day before my trip 

Of course my plan is to still Turbo it up while in Chicago and perhaps get my little sis  just as addicted!! LOL My mom has also expressed a bit of interest and little does she know I will be there to do a Turbo class with her as well!!!!

Time to get my day started! I am back to my outside bar, life is good!!! Have a wonderful day ladies, I shall chat with ya after my shift

 

Hey girlies back ffrom Turbo land, it was a HIIT 25 and WHew!!! It was on Fire!!! Sorry I couldn't help myself!!! LOL I have dinner in the oven and I am extra hungry!!!

Now some of you voiced your concern about the well being of my Mom and Sis when "Turbo Girl" gets a hold of them......Well let me tell you a little bit about my fam....We all are a bit of trash talkers when it comes to accomplishsments, especially MOM!!! She rivals and probably would TOP Ali!!! LOl You should hear her brag about how she was her team captain of Basketball and Track, and even has pics to prove it!!!  She has her gym in her basement with a treadmill, stairmaster, bike and weights... although she has knee issues, she still puts in work....I am going to show her the low impact moves in sub of the jumps and although it is low impact, there is no slacking allowed, I expect her to CRUSH IT" the best she can, and as far as SIS she is just as Cardio Crazed like yours truly!!! It is awesome to have such an athletic family, we push and motivate each other to strive for the best!!!

Well lovelies it is time to check on my chow and get caught up with you hotties here!

B- Sugarfree "vegan" carrot muffin

L- lean turkey patty, ff cheddar, mango salsa

D- 2 stuffed cabbage leaves, 1 small baked sweet potato with cinnamon and nutmeg, 2 glasses of Pinot Noir

1 1/2 gallons of water, 3 scoops of jet fuel in 8ozs of h2o  before both workouts, 2 celsius

Im on my own at the gym today, which suits me just fine because it gives me the freedom to do a little extra if I have extra to give! If I have any energy left, I will tackle that damn stairmaster for a minimum of 10 minutes. That stupid thing owns me right now, but I swear to you that will change!!

Anyway, Im thankful that the trainers write up my workout plan each day, because I have no idea on what is the best combo of machines to use and what muscle groups to focus on during each workout. Im sure after a year of working with trainers I'll learn the method to the madness. Worse case scenario, I can use my workout journal as a guide (while increasing weights and/or reps, of course).

How nice to get TOM over with before your big trip. Having TOM while on vacation sucks!

Turbo on vacation - woohoo! And getting your sis and mom on the Turbo train - double yay!!

Im ok! We have some scary storms passing through with the scariest ones showing up in the next 30 minutes. I cant relax knowing that these storms are producing a lot of tornadoes, hurricane force winds, torrential downpours, and baseball size hail. Why cant all these storms come during the daytime???

Anyway, Im fine, so no worries!

Good Morning beautiful Girls Got that Fire55 in me bright and early and it is ALL  good!!! Tonight it's a Sculpt30 after my shift...I just hope rude boy does not work today, I fear I might just clock him right in that big fat kisser of his!!! I didn't sleep well last night because all I could think about was how crushed this girl's spirit was....It is bad enough that we sometimes are too critical of ourselves but to have someone publicly humiliate another person is NOT right......Anyways stepping off my soapbox and trying to cool it down before I head out for the day...Don't worry girls' i will keep my cool, I just had to get that out before I head out for the day have a wonderful day ladies, talk to you later

Hey girlies back from my trip to Turbo Land Sculpt 30 was amazing and with all of the longer classes I have been crushing this one went by really quick....I want more!!! LOL

Well it was extremely slow at work and my GM let me go early but not off the hook completely..Yep there is always a catch with him...LOL Well I have to go to a class in his place on Sunday at noon...Not a huge deal especially since my favorite place to go for raw oysters is a block away Also Val and Danimal are attending so we are doing lunch afterwards...It is downtown which is a mere 10 minutes away however I rarely go because everyone wants to go to the beach on our outings, so this will be fun and I get to wear a new outfit instead of beachwear!!!! Yayyy....

As if today's quote were meant to me :) I read your entry before this one, well... that's a major insult for a woman for sure! A colleague of mine has like 110-120 lbs and she needed to gain weight. She was buying those 11 lbs greek fat yogurts, the WORST on the market, to get fatter, until a day when someone offered her a seat on the subway. LOOOL, she went green, then red, then yellow, then red again, and never bought any of those yogurts anymore... :)) She gained a little volume on the stomach only because of the considerably big quantity she has been eating on a daily basis... :)

Your co-worker is a massive jerk. I had an older man ask me last summer if I was expecting again because I had on a very loose top to HIDE my gut LOL. You just can't win. But he was embarrassed when I told him no, and he wasn't trying to be mean. Your co-worker deserved a punch in the head for those winning comments, I hope you bump into him today ;)

Aww that poor girl!! I can totally relate-- I used to coach girls volleyball at my old high school, I replaced a girl a few years older than me that left to have a baby... they hired a new basketball coach who (I guess) heard the volleyball coach had just had the baby... but didn't get the whole story. I ran into him one day and he asked me how my baby was doing... infront of my entire team!!! SO EMBARASSING that someone thought I had just recently had a baby... cried everynight for a week :( You're totally right-- we're hard enough on ourselves, do we really need other people making us feel like crap?!? I hope you have a fantastic day =)

Good Morning Divas Oh yeaH!!!  To kick off the start of week 8 of Turbo Prep I chose to do the Fire 45 in place of the Fire 30 to rev up that metabolism to the max!!! After my shift I am going to do a HIIT class with a core20!!! This is all a part of the "Inferno Plan" which is a 5 day program for those seeking a little extra challenge...My energy is off the charts redonkulous right now and it is just what I needed to get my day started!! HURRAH!! For those who are participating in the FB challenge this week don't forget to send your scores to me...The winner will be announced a little later than normal so you have plenty of time to get them to me

Hey I just completed my entry and ZAP! The lightning came and it was dark and scary and of course the entry was gone when the power came backLOL BOOOOOO!!! It was a very heated one too and I now have to shorten it...Crushed the HIIT25 and Core20 WOOOHOO!!

Since there are only male managers, I have somehow earned the unwanted job of handling "Code Reds"(teary female workers in distress)  I am certainly not qualified for this position, hell my MOM's advice was to "man up, suck it up" Or my personal favorite"throw some dirt on it and stop crying"LOL

Well today's "Code red" had me seeing Red when I found out that the reason a very unglued girl was having a massive meltdown because a very insensitive  male employee aske her when her baby was due....Not an unreasonable question, HOWEVER the girl in question is NOT pregnant....To add insult to severe injury, instead of profusely apologizing, he further adds that she should hit the gym because she has a MASSIVE GUT First of all this girl is a guesstimate 120's- 130's tops, second this guy looks like he has never seen the insides of a gym, third I wonder if he offers up the same advice to his wife who is well over 400lbs!

I was so heated, my GM seen the look of anger in my eyes and sent this douche home before I had a few words with him myself...Seriously what the hell is wrong with people??

On a lighter note I am going  to get the chance to catch up with all of you and get a good night's sleep for my Fire55 in the AM

Oh and I have to weigh myself daily, otherwise I will wind up taking a break where I shouldn't or eating that extra bite I shouldn't. So I don't trust the weight. What I need to do is set a day of the week I will record my weight and just stick to it.

Good Afternoon Lovelies!! Upon rising the usual time I was feeling a bit spent so I decided to shut it down and sleep some more...I am a bit behind schedule, but it is okay, I really want to take advantage of my only rest day from Turbo and the bar.... No plans to day other than grocery shopping for the week, After interacting with so many people(lots of drunk ones) I am not feeling very social today so it is going  to have to be a pass on the invites that I've received from friends to spend the Easter  with them.....I will be back to update as the day progresses... wishing all of you and your families a Happy Holiday

Hey Divas i am back and had quite the restful day!! My body forced me to listen to it and i am happy! The urge to attempt a HIIT15 was firmly denied when my brain and body shut down again and I was looking at the insides of my eyelids til 4 pm!!! LOL

I got my shopping done and that is all that truly matters and now I am going to have to figure out how I am going to get my GTL in this week, especially Laundry...I have to work in the morning at the downstairs bar so someway I must finess my way out of the DREADED Tuesday shift inside, I don't think I could take two days of torture!! LOL

Anyways I am going to check on dinner(super late but trying not to stress) and catch up with your diaries and get more rest for my early morning Fire class! Hurrah!!

Well you are ahead of me. I successfully procrastinated doing the grocery shopping ALL weekend. We have food, but are missing some stuff we like to keep on hand. It might be interesting to see how long I can actually go without visiting the Kroger or Walmart grocery stores. We mostly need fruit.

Good Morning Lovelies Saturday!!! Wooohoo! I woke up feeling a tad sluggish so I did a HIIT25 to rev it up so I can crush this last double.....I have a long , 2  weeks ahead of me...Sundays will be my only day off for the next 2 weeks til Mother's Day....I swapped out shifts in order to swing my mini vacay, but it will be well worth it....I am still hoping to drop that Tuesday AM shift for the upcoming week so I can at least get a full day to get all my chores in....This will take some skills but it is worth the shot! LOL

Sweetpea reminded me of something that I have been meaning to do for a while.....I updated my Bio page!!!! I have come a long way from almost a year ago when I began my journey and now it is on to my next chapter!!!  I am constantly seeking ways of improving and strenghtening so i am now going to share with you another goal upon completion of all of my Turbo Training(which will be in 2012) This may seem like a long way off but this is what is in the back of my mind :
