Morning beauties  I am so happy not to be severely hungover today!!!! I failed to eat enough yesterday and my water intake suprisingly was low as well....I did have copious amounts of booze LOL Now although I could have done alot of damage to Trick or Treat candy, I chose my cheat item and as you know Grey Goose always wins so NO CANDY!!! I just wish that weigh in wasn't tomorrow i am actually considering skipping BUT as the saying goes, you play you pay!

On a positive side of yesterdayi got lots of exercise playing with the kids!!!! Not sure why I was  "It" ever single round so I spent the majority of my time running and teaching the girls a few gymnastics basics, although I am a little more than rusty I still got it! LOL  I also put in a few miles pulling  Nicky in the wagon when they went trick or treating!!! Talk about curb side service! I seen the funniest Politically Incorrect costume that I still think about and LOL!!!!! It was so wrong in every sense of the word.......Kid about 6 ish dressed as a homeless guy equipped with shopping cart  full of junk and a five oclock shadow

I met Val and Hottie Scottie  for dinner and we called it an early evening, we were all a little tired from our long day.

Well with not much to do today other than work out later  and perhaps buying a few books I think I might take a nap soon so i will catch up with you all later! Much love to you

yesterday's meals/boozefest LOL posted, read it and weep

Back and feeling hydrated again I decided to stay home, drink tons of water and read my current book "Best Friends Forever" by Jennifer Weiner...I was a mere 15 pages and the phone started ringing off the hook, Mom was returning my call (it is her b-day) she was out to breakfast with dad when I called her this morning..I also talked to sis to make sure she liked the gift we got her, mom is a woman who has everything and it's tough to buy for her so all of the kids piched in and got her a really nice warm fur coat! Food for the week is in the oven and i am super hungry so I will read and respond to all my girlys!!!! Much love to you

B- Sleep

L- Starbucks, 4 oz lean turkey patty 2 slices extra lean turkey bacon, 1/2 slice ff cheddar, 1 tbsp spicy mustard and a dash of hotsauce

D- 6 oz baked chicken marinated in spicy mustard ff/no carb/no cal balsamic vin, 1 cup of ff low sodium broth, 1 cup sauteed collards

1 1/2 gallons of water, 1 can celsius

Progress as of today: 80.6 lbs lost so far, only 6.4 lbs to go!

Hey, it looks like we'll be really lucky with the weather. The boys are doing great, kids are so much more understanding and accepting of stuff us adults get upset about. I'm lucky to have them, they're my little rocks this week :)

Umpqua on 11/01/2010:
I'm glad you had fun yesterday and good job resisting the candy. I was not so strong! I hope you have a great day.

Bikiniwax85 on 11/01/2010:
As long as you had fun babe! You are already there. You can get it off your system in no time! :)

Umpqua on 11/01/2010:
You mixed vodka and tequila, you are really lucky not to be sick! Vodka does not agree with my tummy usually, and if I mixed it with tequila I'd be yacking all night ;) The shot of Patron sounds good though!

chidogs on 11/01/2010:
Glad you feel alright today. I just love seeing original costumes, incorrect or not, they are funny stuff! And the little kids are so great. Just keep me out of the candy! Take care and have a great day.

getmebackto150 on 11/01/2010:
wow you weren't joking around w/ the goose:) Very glad to hear you are feeling well today... My ankle is starting to feel better already, so it shouldn't get in the way of my workouts too much... Awesome job avoiding the candy!!!

legcramps on 11/01/2010:
LOL, wow girl you really had a party going on, didn't you?!! Glad it was fun, and glad you're not feeling the negatives effects today!

sweetpea1977 on 11/01/2010:
wow, what a fun-filled weekend. Im sure you'll be fine with your weigh in tomorrow as long as you stay away from the goose! :)

Lol at your "inflate my ego" comment. At least it would match my continuously inflating belly. :)

lifestylechange on 11/01/2010:
sounds like you had a fun weekend...:)) thanks for your comment!! hugs

2luvself on 11/01/2010:
Yeah it was a really great get together. I made the tastiest sweet and sour ribs ever... I don't know what I did differently but OOOoooh man they were some good ribs. I will go down in history with my friends as the best rib maker in the world. You sound like you did a lot better with Halloween as far as diet goes then I did. Put it was my last splurge for the next 90 days... Christmas is going to kill me. Wait sorry... I am pretty sure Christmas is a swareword around here ha ha. Oh man I just did my first workout and I am feeling really good.

anyways rant over. Have a good day V.

hollybelle on 11/01/2010:
Sounds like a good Halloween. I used to pull daughter in wagon. I miss those days! Hope you don't feel too bad today -

hopingforhealth on 11/01/2010:
Looks like a nutritious day today, and man, great job with the water.

It sounds like you had a fantastic holiday!

lifestylechange on 11/01/2010:
WTG on that water intake girly!!!!!

Maria7 on 11/01/2010:
Thank you...she is doing better today. I appreciate your asking about her. :-)

Maria7 on 11/01/2010:
I just realized something...you and I are about the same weight and have the same goalweight, hehehehhe! :-D

Maria7 on 11/01/2010:
Where is our friend, Moogy???

loveray on 11/01/2010:
honestly, it tastes like bubbly vinegar:) HAHA - but its healing so i drink it. i drink the ones with fruit juice mixed in (my fave has raspberry, giner and lemon juice mixed in) so it doesnt taste as "fermented:....

Maria7 on 11/01/2010:
Re: Moogy...thanks for letting me know she's okay. Re: Size 8 jeans...yes! :-D Congrats to you!

just42day on 11/02/2010:
Yes, several relatives complimented me on my weight loss. I have purchased smaller pants but am still wearing most of my existing tops. One commented that the top looked like it was falling off of me. Have noticed that many tops are down dramatically longer than they were a year ago. Have actually purchased new undies because old ones are a bit baggy.... :)

Happy Halloween Beauties Although I would love to sleep in, watch horror movies and enjoy a day in I can't !!!!! Tracy's daughter Allison is 5 years old today and I am not only invited Ally has called me requesting my presence at Chuckie Cheese so I can play with her When I am at their house she thinks I am there for the sole purpose of playing with her and Nicky (her little brother)...Tracy constantly has to remind them that "Auntie Nessa" is there to see her too!! LOL !!! My plan is to go for groceries, and buy a few gifts for Ally and I will get something special for Nicky too because I don't want him to feel left out!!!!! i also have to get my lashes re touched so I hope i have enough time! If I leave shortly i might have time to successfully complete all tasks before the 1pm party, wish me luck! LOL....Much love to you!!!!!Enjoy your treats without tricks

Tasks done but I failed miserably at managing my time!!! I went quite mad at this store for little princesses called Justice, ever heard of it??? Well  all i can say is i think i might have been posessed by the shopping devil upon entering this store I went wayyyyy overboard and I know i am going to get a massive lecture from Tracy, she says that I spoil her kids rotten!! I purchased 2 pair of super cute jeans, 2 tops, socks,a bottle of perfume, a lunch bag with her initial on it  and a leather motorcycle jacket I also got Nicky a pair of jeans, a top and a toy!! Um ooops! LOl Gotta run I have to wrap gifts

Ha ha. That's too cute. I guess you don't have a choice! I hope you get all your errands done before the party!

KathyBlue on 10/31/2010:
ahhhh, being with Ally playing sounds more fun than sleep in and horror movies... We have only one life, let sleeping for the grave, plenty of time to sleep in the coffin, as I say... Geez :) Now this is a real halloweenish comment! :) BTW I got this new cell phone yesterday and I wanted to update my diary through it but.. all I got is a blank entry... now it's better :P

lifestylechange on 10/31/2010:

lololololol, we have a serious case of shopping mania here! It's the same with me BTW... :P I love stores, supermarkets, shopping malls, everything! I'm already planning my time in Hungary, I want to see TESCO, and the other supermarkets for candies for the kids, ayyyy :) The Leather Motorcycle jacket sounds fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun, please, please, please, post a photo :D

KathyBlue on 10/31/2010:

just42day on 10/31/2010:

Its always slower on weekends. :) I probably wont have time to write an entry this weekend due to all the Halloween festivities we'll be involved with. I have all my meals planned, so I am determined to stay on track all weekend. YAY!

Enjoy your spooky weekend!

tangalyn on 10/30/2010:
hope u have a great day, i just might sneak some popcorn in my purse, thanks for the idea :)

hopingforhealth on 10/30/2010:
ha ha. Well, mildly scary to other people = way scary to me! I like ghost story movies and stuff like that, but I am a huge coward! Once, after watching a movie with friends (that noone else would've called a "scary" movie with the ending) I woke up the next morning, still sitting straight up in bed, in high alert, room scoping position! Also, I like thrills, not gore, and sometimes it's hard to find a scary movie that hits those points in the rental place. Too many movies to be able to tell!

2luvself on 10/30/2010:
80 pounds so far my God thats the average weight of a 11 year old child you lost there. It must feel so good getting so slim.

2luvself on 10/30/2010:
Do you have any before and after photos?

KathyBlue on 10/30/2010:
it is an other VERY rainy day. I got soaking wet several times today but I refuse to use an umbrella. Even the metro stopped working so I got all wet again and again, running around in Lisbon's streets to get a working underground... ARGH... PATIENCE...

Good morning beautiful girls Well Funday Friday is here and I must get going soon..I mentioned to Maria last night that i purchased my first item to put in my empty cabinets(roasted sunflower seeds) This may seem like a trivial item to buy but it took me a long time to work up the courage to get them, they taste so good on salads as you know But i must have looked like a freakshow standing there putting them in my cart and putting them back on the shelf(5 times) LOL...

Well thanks for letting me share that weird story with you girls..I hope everyone has a great weekend!

She's baaaack!!! Busy day today and it made the evening pass by a little quickerOur Friday Fan Club is such a loyal and generous group of guys One of my customers/stalkers LOL overheard me telling Val about my Cd deck refusing to let go of my JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE CD It is gone forever along with the ability to play music...I was pleasantly suprised when he came back with with a Fisher portable flat stereo/cd player from his house, from one of his guest rooms  Yaaaay I love my job....Well girls it's off to read diaries and catch a few zzzzzzzz's before my double. Much love to ya

Next time you go shopping, save yourself some time w/indecision. Take a coin to flip.... :)

KathyBlue on 10/29/2010:
potty mouth? ahhhh :D They are sissies!!! But it was cool without them, I had the right to a personal training :P, me and the coach. And then it started to rain so I'm the only one, literally, who had the chance to receive a training today! :)

How's the kettlebell training going? :) Will you throw a party at home/work for Halloween? :)

Bikiniwax85 on 10/29/2010:
Erm.. Sunflower seeds... sounds good! I love it when its slightly salted and crunchy!!! Yummy... I can see 6.4lbs to go you are such and inspiration babe! xoxo and yea, Mrs red sounds fabulous for TOM lolz... :P

selina on 10/29/2010:
You sound like me a the grocery store the other day with almonds - I even had to look around to see if anyone was looking, ha! I ended up buying the item, though. Almonds (and sunflower seeds) are good for you if eaten in moderation, and of course you already know that! Have a great Funday Friday!

Umpqua on 10/29/2010:
The stone crabs sound yummy. I have had dungeness crab out west but would love to try these. Thanks for checking on the weather too - I'm sure it will be fine compared to what we have in the NE now. Last time I went to Disney I was 6 months pregnant with Jake and it was July, so this trip will be much better I think.

Maria7 on 10/29/2010:
Hahahaha! That is TOO CUTE!!! 5 x's! I can just imagine you putting them from the cart and back to the shelf and back to the cart! :-D I actually think they'll NOT be a temptation to you!

loveray on 10/29/2010:
sounds good! enjoy them in moderation. happy halloween, lovely!

sweetpea1977 on 10/29/2010:
all things in moderation - make this your mantra. :)

In addition to salad, I like to use sunflower seeds in a small bowl of lf cottage cheese and crisp ice cold red grapes. Sweet and savory, and so good!!

Have a good day!

Goodmorning Beauties i am so not looking forward to temps in the 90's today i guess the plus side of this is I will be sweating some lbs away perhaps??? It is crazy that Umpqua, Legcramps and have already had SNOW!!!! By the way girls I will gladly shovel snow for free(plane ticket) LOl...Well I must get my day going, Much love to you

Hello vixens!!!! I had a great day at work with the heat and all...Zack loved his lunch but Danimal felt a lot slighted Well first of all he normally doesn't work Thursdays and Secondly jealous much??? LOL ....Our makeout sessions ceased months ago after his vacation fling/customer decided to throw caution to the wind and move to Florida to be with him(not to his knowledge) She showed up at his door without a plan or place to stay and now he is stuck with her! LOL in a way because i hear how much bs the guys at work tell their out of town hookups and he certainly didn't expect that!  I'ts funny too because after  I ended it he still wants to know about who i am currently seeing and in Zack's case he is so barking up the wrong tree..

Well girls i have dinner in the oven and it is off to see what's going on with all you beauties!!!

A big Conrats to Sweetpea and her newest male addition to her family

B- Starbucks

L- 2 oz lean smoked turkey sausage(brautwurst if you ask my co- worker...see last night's post) 1 cup of saurekraut 1 pear,1 wedge lc lght

D- 6 oz lean pork loin with balsamic  spicy mustard marinade  1 cup romaine lettuce 1/2 cucumber, red onoins , red peppers, 1 oz ff/ feta cheese 1 oz roasted sunflower seeds, red wine vin, 1 lemon wedge

1 gallon water 3 celsius

Progress as of today: 80.6 lbs lost so far, only 6.4 lbs to go!

sweetpea1977 on 10/28/2010:
I know I dont have to tell you this, but I will anyway. Be sure to stay hydrated in those high temps. :)

Atlanta had weird weather all week with tornado producing storms for 3 days. The humidity was awful...it felt like a sauna out whenever it wasnt raining. Thankfully, it looks like we're getting our sunshiney fall back today. Hopefully, you'll see some cooler temps soon!

Shoveling snow is a fantastic workout. I'd do it for free (plane ticket) too! :)

Hope you have a good day!

selina on 10/28/2010:
I can't believe we are having this kind of weather/temps at this time of the year! Have a great day, sweating or otherwise! I want to shovel snow, too!

KathyBlue on 10/28/2010:
yeah, planet Earth is marvelous! Different places, all seasons, all the time :)

selina on 10/28/2010:
Thanks V, it means a lot to me!

biscottibody59 on 10/28/2010:
RYC: You forgot to include near-genius;-)

just42day on 10/28/2010:
Yep, enchillada recipe is posted! It is good!

Maria7 on 10/28/2010:
Here I am in SC and we are having extra warm weather, too...Soon to change to cooler and your prob will, too. Please send me a virtual Christmas card link to DD comment. That is so sweet of you to think of me. Yes, you know I LOVE Christmas! :-D

hollybelle on 10/28/2010:
I've been craving smoked turkey sausage for about a month - gotta make something with it soon!

legcramps on 10/28/2010:
If I knew when we'd be blasted by another snowfall, I just might take you up on that offer! LOL! I think shovelling is great exercise too, but I just don't like doing it. I also don't like mowing the lawn, cultivating the garden... geez, perhaps I should've looked into apartments instead of buying my house heehee! Have a great day today V!

moogy on 10/28/2010:
It does sound a little weird, shouldn't your temps be dropping by now??? I think that even for Floridians you must be getting a little fed up of the heat!!. Have a good day in an air conditioned spot V.

moogy on 10/28/2010:
I guess that you don't mind if the weather stays hot if it means you get to work. I couldn't imagine depending on hot weather for an income. I think that it takes a special kind of courage to live a life on the edge. But of course, being the sensible woman you are having a cold weather stash of money is a neccisity. I couldn't do that either. I am of the camp that says, the bank has more than me and are happy to share theirs with me.

moogy on 10/28/2010:
I don't believe it, you really do come from a wealthy family and are just slumming it to pick up hot guys!! Those preppie straight laced ones just don't do it for you. Your co-workers are probably jealous that you are going back to the family mansion for Christmas!!

Umpqua on 10/28/2010:
Hey, you know I'm coming to visit your peninsula soon, right? We're staying at Disney for the whole week, probably not leaving the parks. Weather.com says the 80s, I'm hoping it's not warmer than that! The only reason I'm taking such little guys to Disney is that we have free lodging through my MIL's timeshare, and free entrance to the parks since John works for ESPN. Plus discounts on food, etc. So why not? Pretty cheap vacation and we get to escape our cold, rainy weather....

Sorry to ramble, thinking of the trip helps keep my mind off the other stuff. Hope you have a great night! Oh, and we watched The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus last night. Don't know if you like Terry Gilliam, but it was a great flick!

hopingforhealth on 10/28/2010:
Holy crap! I can not imagine moving to be with a random person that casually! That crazy girl. Your friends have the craziest stories!

I definitely want to try those noodles. I had never heard of them. What section would they be in? I am guessing not with the pasta since it's packed in water.

Umpqua on 10/28/2010:
I think West Florida deserves a trip of its own. Unfortunately I don't think we'll make it this time (although I'd love to skip out and spend a day at your place ;P) If anything, we'll do mass transit to someplace close outside the park. I've been to the Gulf Coast in Alabama and Mississippi and it's so beautiful and different from the Atlantic side. I imagine where you are is more like that? We'll be traveling to Florida a lot in the coming years so I bet I'll make it to your area some time soon!

Umpqua on 10/28/2010:
Yes, Heath Ledger's last movie with Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Collin Farrell filling in. Weird and awesome flick!

Umpqua on 10/28/2010:
Nov 6-13, muchas gracias

hopingforhealth on 10/28/2010:
whoops. Totally missed the website. That will help!

I wasn't on DD then, but it sound like having to put off men is not uncommon for you, ha! It sounds like all of you guys do alright with the opposite sex, for that matter. And if I'm ever your way, no worries; I tend to be mildly skeptical of guys when they obviously run game...maybe even a little more than I should be, ha!

Lastly, no, I didn't know about sugar free peeps! I am going to keep an eye out for them. Seriously, people seem to either love or hate peeps and I am totally on the love side. :) Absolutely the best easter candy.

sweetpea1977 on 10/28/2010:
Thanks V! xoxo

moogy on 10/28/2010:
I knew it, I will only need a spacious room and one maid for my Christmas holiday, it has been over forty years since I had a cold Christmas. I will let you know what time my flight lands so that you can organise a limo for my pick up.!!!!!

moogy on 10/28/2010:
Hey, it would have been more proper to have offered the correct amenities. You have obviously picked up some poor manners living down south!!!

hollybelle on 10/28/2010:
Oh yeah, I'm not a real good creole/cajun cook but I love a version of chicken jambaliaha (spelling!!) but my family doesn't really like it so I never make it. I do red beans for them, though, although a vegetarian version for my daughter. I think I'll try the turkey sausage with some red beans, soon.

breakaway on 10/28/2010:
I've already had snow as well here and tonight it's going to hit 21 degrees :( I do NOT wish for 90 degrees though! I think I prefer snow lol. Nice to be able to read entries again and thanks for yours :D I like how you call it a nest...its exactly it. Thanks :D

Maria7 on 10/28/2010:
Sunflower seeds (more than an ounce) in the house is OUT for me. Can't buy in bulk in the jar anymore! I even through some out (shame) to keep myself from finishing the last jar off. They are TOO GOOD.

just42day on 10/28/2010:
Ah, grasshopper. You will find that food bought on sale tastes even better than full-priced foods.....

lifestylechange on 10/28/2010:
90 degree weather?? wow! it's like 30 here lol!!! Hope you had a wonderful day!!! are you taking kettlebell classes or doing it on your own??

Good on the sunflower seeds. :-D

It will only take a sec and then it is off to see whatsa happening in your lives LOVE YA

Did you like the kettlebells? :)

biscottibody59 on 10/27/2010:
Good going on your big loss!

Nope, not a deadhead, but an longtime friend's (now ex-friend's) hubby was still a sort of "passive" deadhead last time I checked.

Hope you have a great day there!

hollybelle on 10/27/2010:
Enjoyed reaading your Forum post. And you BETTER get back to work - you have a new wardrobe to buy soon, it appears! Seriously Vanessa, you have come so far.

getmebackto150 on 10/27/2010:
here is hoping you make lots of money at work today!!!

sweetpea1977 on 10/27/2010:
Hope you have super-money making Wednesday!

Umpqua on 10/27/2010:
Have a great day at work!

lifestylechange on 10/27/2010:
awe, thanks V!! You are too! What a compliment, THANKS AGAIN!!!! Have a great day!!!

legcramps on 10/27/2010:
Would love to hear the Oscar speech too, LOL!!! Have a great day today (and thanks for adding me to the fb page!).

Maria7 on 10/27/2010:
Those kettlebells sounds like a very wise investment. I read and commented to the forum entry...really inspiring entry...thanks! :-D

moogy on 10/27/2010:
Just read your forum entry and it gives me hope to carry on. Thanks V, you really do ROCK!!

hopingforhealth on 10/27/2010:
ha ha. Too funny about your coworker; I'm sure he will appreciate getting it tomorrow. I love me some bratwurst too; of course I can tell the difference!

hopingforhealth on 10/27/2010:
For whatever it's worth, my slices are little and pretty healthy, so I feel better good about them. Maybe you can ease in with them, when you get brave! Supposedly a serving is 2oz and these are actually 3 slices to a serving, and I usually just eat 2. It's Pepperidge Farm Light Style- Extra Fiber -Wheat. I actually think it's pretty tasty toasted!

sweetpea1977 on 10/28/2010:
My appointment is at 4pm. I think the scan will take about 30-40 minutes as this is also a "genetic defect" scan. Then, we will have to call our parents (they get first privileges) and let them know the news before we tell our friends and my dad loves to talk, lol. So, the update in here will be probably closer to this evening. :)

just42day on 10/28/2010:
Gosh, you're doing so well. You must be soooo proud of yourself and rightfully so! Thanks for your kind comment. I'm really not much of a cook -- I can just follow instructions pretty well. :0)

(Low Carb)
Weight: 146.4

Good morning Lovelies We are back!!!! Yes...Gotta get moving lots to say so little time as usual.LOL Did you guys expect any different? Well i will update my weight from Starbucks.

I am sitting at Starbucks in utter disbelief...Not only at the fact that i lost 5.3 lbs this week but i have surpassed my initial goal weight.....Wowsers...For those of you who don't know I have started to ad healthier carbs into my diet and I have been working out extra hard to not let this effect my loss....That explains why I could fit into the skinnyjeans that I couldn't fit into 3 years ago at 150 i also think it might be possible that my measurements are smaller now as opposed to then...The only down side to this is that my melons have shriveled up to raisins Moogy has so kindly offered some up some of hers to me and I gladly accept Well at least gravity is still on my side(they still point up northward) and I also have my best friend Victorias Secrets push up bras....I can't wait to buy new ones, i used to be 38C and I am more than curious to know what they are now....

Well girls i have to say hello to everyone and then I am going to test out the Kettlebells i purchased today with the helpful suggestion of loveray I will be back later, this kinda feels like the first day back to school after summer break! LOL

Oh I am sure sweetpea has mentioned that our temporary DD site on fb will be still up and running and we are brainstorming on ideas to keep the site fun, interesting and a few doorprizes as well...LOl....Now all are more than welcome so please join us   The site itself can only be viewed by DD members...There are no intentions of replacing this site but i think i can speak for all in saying that we all got to know each other on a more personal level and that made me truly happy because we should never be ashamed or embarrased at our personal journeys! I bid you good afternoon and much love to you, I missed you all dearly Oh forgot to mention the 1.3 lbs lost last week

She's back!!!! Evening Divas! Workout was AWESOME although it never occured to me to purchase a kettlebell workout DVD...I totally thought that the instructional DVD had workout, but it just showed the basics..No worries though I did sets of all of them and boy did i work up a sweat! If you are a fan of lifting then you are gonna love it Def a great core workout my favorites single arm swings with pass, single leg stiff leg dead lift and my #1 situp to stand...Well girls it is off to read your diaries now so Ta Ta For Now

B- Starbucks 1 pear, 6 mini turkey sausages 1 wedge lc lght cheese

L- Starbucks (not hungry but will have a snack then)

S- 4 oz extra lean pork loin in ff/no cal balsamic spicy mustard marinade

D- 6 oz skinless chicken breast, 1 cup ff low sodium chicken broth, 1 cup romaine lettuce, red  pepper, red onion, artichoke hearts, red wine vin, 1 lemon wedge, lc lght blue cheese

Umpqua on 10/26/2010:
I watched House of 1,000 Corpses last night :) Haven't seen a horror movie in ages, it was fun. I wish they had done more with the Gas & Chicken place at the beginning, that guy was awesome. Have a good one!

selina on 10/26/2010:
It's pretty amazing to see how much weight you've lost so far! Congrats, V, you are a real inspiration!

after that lose it will be great to fit in your kept jeans. keep it going and take care.

KathyBlue on 10/26/2010:
we need the DD group on FB because DD's not 100% yet. I really miss the notification messages through e-mail and the status bar's missing, which always gave me an additional mental help, seeing my progress... I reported everything and he/she's working on it. :D

just42day on 10/26/2010:
Your weight loss is amazing! As are you! :)

getmebackto150 on 10/26/2010:
We go to DC this week on Friday... I can't WAIT!!! I will tell you all about it!

skinnygrlwithin on 10/26/2010:
I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!! LOOK AT THAT LOSS!!! You are truly an inspiration... I know I kinda left you in the dark about the Randy situation...by the time I went to catch you up the whole situation had changed... but if you heard the whole story of what unfolded on Saturday night...uughh it just frustrates me to talk about it. Basically I'm moving upward and onward... but I so appreciate your support throughout the whole thing

sweetpea1977 on 10/26/2010:
Congratulations! You just kicked your own butt. :)

I cant wait to hear about your kettlebell workout. I did it a few times with a small weight and it was pretty cool!

sweetpea1977 on 10/26/2010:
lol, I know what you mean. I haven't gotten a thing accomplished...except treating myself to a decaf starbucks. ;)

just42day on 10/26/2010:
Ah, the young grasshopper learned well and shall continue to reap benefits of her new wisdom. :)

legcramps on 10/26/2010:
Wow, what a great loss! Congratulations, that hard work really paid off :-) Have an awesome day today!

hollybelle on 10/26/2010:
You are my idol! WOW-wee! That exercise is making the diff! Good going.

moogy on 10/26/2010:
My daughter just received the second 30 days of night, prior to it's release so she can review it for her site. I am planning on watching it this afternoon with the blinds down. Scare me Scare me. So glad you are doing so well even with the extra carbs, I am seriously worried about your raisins, you may have to start on the pec exercises to give those things something to balance on!!!! I will no doubt chat to you later. Love You

Maria7 on 10/26/2010:
Congratulations to you! Yayyyy! Please put up a list of things that have helped you most to have such a good success in getting to your goal! :-D

hopingforhealth on 10/26/2010:
Way to go!! Great news! Way to surpass your original goals!

Sofia on 10/26/2010:
YAY! That loss certainly calls for a celebration! I see that you are quite determined to be accurate with your weight, measuring to the trillionth decimal place ;) Great job, I'm in awe of your accomplishment!

Umpqua on 10/26/2010:
Thanks for the kettlebell description. I was reading Loveray's and Sweetpea's summaries as well and it sounds like something I would like. I mean I'm basically doing heavy lifting of rocks and bricks a few times a week now. Once the cold weather really kicks in it would be cool to take it indoors! I'll look into it :)

Maria7 on 10/26/2010:
Okay...just to be nosey...do you count your calories when you make your weekly plan?...how do you go about bagging everything on Mondays and making sure you don't over do it? (like putting too much calories in each bag?)

Mom's doing pretty well, I guess. I've visited her every day since we've gotten home. Thanks for asking about her. :-D Hope you're doing well.

loveray on 10/26/2010:
WOOO WOOO look at you go!! It really is a lot about lifting, but i like that the moves are so dynamic. even learning the basics, you work up quite a sweat! those last 10 are going to fly off you! xo

moogy on 10/26/2010:
I haven't watched it yet, my daughter gave the original 8/10 but the sequel only 4/10, too much human action and not enough vampire action. We are a bloody gore loving family!!

nita51 on 10/27/2010:
Congrats on the loss. You go girl! xoxo

just42day on 10/27/2010:
Thanks for voting for Audrey. You can vote everyday til Nov. 1....

(Low Carb)
Weight: 153.2

Good Morning lovely girls I am getting good on this time management thing Well I am back to 100% Wheeew! I didn't know i had that much rage,LOL...I was up til 4 this morning reading  a book i started and couldn't put down so i finished the entire book in one sitting....It is titled  Loose Girl by Kerry Cohen....Probably not a good book for me to have read because I am working on opening myself up...Her honesty and openess about her desperate need to be loved and wanted was quite shocking to say the least, even asking her very young sons for forgiveness someday for writing her explicit memoirs..

Well I have to get going before while time is still in my favor, Talk to you all after my shift

Hi Honeys I'm home Work was great, workout was awesome...What more could a girl ask for??

Well i have to say again how moving this book was and it brought me to tears more than a few times...Without giving away anything for those who might read it, I thought of a few people i know who remind me of Kerry...So desperate so needy for attention from men that they would shamelessly do ANYTHING....WOW certainly an eye opener and I must say i understand Jaxs a little more....Perhaps i might send her the book?????

Well i have dinner in the oven and I have decided to amp up the protien and less carb this week and see to see if i can get to my first goal on Tuesday...Girlies thank you for all your love and support and I wish you all a happy healthy evening

B-Starbucks  2 wedges lc lght 1/2 cucumber

L- 4 oz lean turkey burger patty, 1 slice ff cheddar

D- 2 oz baked chicken, 5 oz lean country pork ribs in ff/ncarb/ncal balsamicvin and spicy mustard glaze 1 cup ff lo sod broth

1 gallon water 2 cans celsius

Progress as of today: 73.8 lbs lost so far, only 3.2 lbs to go!

KathyBlue on 10/13/2010:
and how was the other book, Women Food and God?

getmebackto150 on 10/13/2010:
I can't wait to try the LC blue cheese wedges... I LOVE laughing cow and blue cheese, so I'm quite excited! Glad to hear you are feeling more yourself... I think its awesome that you were able to lose ANY weight during TOM as I never can!

sweetpea1977 on 10/13/2010:
Wow, you stayed up late! Glad to hear it was for a good book, at least. :)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

balloonlady on 10/13/2010:
I got that book for a friend of mine, She had basically the same life and after her divorce it was going back in the direction, that is when I gave her the book... really a good read...

chidogs on 10/13/2010:
Take care and have a great day! I am still inspired by your loss here.

legcramps on 10/13/2010:
Have a great day today!

Umpqua on 10/13/2010:
Belated congrats on your 1.1 pounds - I would be very happy with that. I hope you have a good shift!

skinnygrlwithin on 10/13/2010:
Hhmm the book you read sounds interesting. I have to say it's been quite some time since I've found a book that I've been unable to put down... I think law school ruined the joy of reading for me... I analyze every sentence, skip pieces that don't seem important to the whole etc... it's a bad habit I acquired. But I'm glad that you're feeling more like yourself.

breakaway on 10/13/2010:
V thanks for the heads up on the low cal drinks. I think I may lay off them for a while...I feel the same way you do. Don't want it to halt my progress because I am doing So well and sometimes I wonder WHY/HOW I didn't lose weight when I am feeling thinner. Doesn't hurt to try. I have looked for the Celcius but did not find it yet. Where did you get again? I know you told me before but I can't remember.

moogy on 10/13/2010:
Who would have thought that you would be up until 4am, READING A BOOK, I am sure that there are a few people who would be shocked. It is good to find a book that you find yourself totally involved in. They have a strange hypnotic and lasting effect on the way we perceive people or the world around us and make us think about things in a different way. It is a good thing. Have a great day V..

moogy on 10/13/2010:
You could always have one slice of lightly toasted bread topped with ham, tomato and cheese and grill it until the cheese is brown and bubbly, that would be yummy and lower carb.

chidogs on 10/13/2010:
Actually I love fish. All kinds. My downfall however is fish and chips (fried goodness), which is served wonderfully in several restaurants there we know and love. But I will be strong.

just42day on 10/13/2010:
thanks for the positive vibes, my friend. Feel free to have your Chicago area friends send some too (less distance to travel.) As always, thanks for your friendship and support. Can you see me smiling? :)

hopingforhealth on 10/13/2010:
Don't you love staying up all night and reading? I love it... when I am really involved in a good book, I can't stop!

Glad you are feeling better :)

hopingforhealth on 10/13/2010:
I am staying in a hotel, so I am thinking it might have a gym. But I have been given an itinerary with all my activities mapped out, so I don't know if I will be able to find an instant to myself!

I have to say, even though it's silly, I'm also excited to have a nice hotel room to myself! The bride's mom booked it, so it's nicer than I could afford for myself! Multiple nights for one person is more than I could swing on my own, so I feel spoiled!

I'll miss you guys while I am gone :)

Maria7 on 10/13/2010:
Congratulations on your progress! You're almost at goal! :-D

lifestylechange on 10/13/2010:
book sounds great!!! :) i love when i start reading a book and can't put it down! those books are hard to come by. great job, you are doing so incredible. very motivating to read your entries! do you have before/after photos??

Maria7 on 10/13/2010:
Thanks for asking...they are better. Yes...the cake turned out real well, I think she'll be very happy (I hope so) with it. :-D I put crushed pineapple between each layer. There will be candles that spell out 'happy birthday' on top of the top layer of pineapple because there is not the usual icing to write happpy birthday on.

loveray on 10/13/2010:
<3

Sofia on 10/13/2010:
That book sounds good, I'll have to look into it. You're SOOOO close to your goal, keep it up!

moogy on 10/13/2010:
So, now I read what you thought of Women, Food and God (on skinny's page)I am glad that I have it ordered from our local library. I have to wait for two other people to read it before I get it, but, hey, it's free!!!!! I love our library, it will even buy in new release books if you request them, perfect!!

sweetpea1977 on 10/12/2010:

Horn_Of_Plenty on 10/12/2010:
sounds like an aweomse plan. even more awesome, you are only about 4 pounds from your goal!?!?!? whoa!

what will you do when you reach your goal! that, my friend, is the question! Perhaps you will try to maintain your weight? or do you have another goal? have a great day!

just42day on 10/12/2010:
I probably would have been better off having my salad at lunch and protein at dinner instead of the other way around. Another lesson learned... :)

Maria7 on 10/12/2010:
Enjoy your Starbucks! :-D

biscottibody59 on 10/12/2010:
Have a good one today!

getmebackto150 on 10/12/2010:
Have a great day! You are SO close to goal!!!

chidogs on 10/12/2010:
You are doing great! Have a wonderful day.

sweetpea1977 on 10/12/2010:
Good job on the savings! I saw the new LC Blue Cheese wedges, but I dont think I am allowed to eat them during pregnancy since I cant eat regular blue cheese. Also, regarding your comment to me earlier on herbal teas, I will have to make sure that they are safe to ingest as some herbs are dangerous for the fetus. I hope so, because I am having a hard time finding fancy teas that are safe to enjoy!

Anyway, 1.1 lbs is still a loss. Im sure you'll see a bigger loss next week when TOM is gone, so just keep up the amazing work!

sweetpea1977 on 10/12/2010:
I can eat sliced deli cheese, shredded cheese and parm cheese. I just cant eat the moldy stinky cheeses and soft cheeses (brie, etc). However, Im not sure about goat cheese. I need to look that one up, because I really enjoy some sort of cheese crumbles on my salads.

sweetpea1977 on 10/12/2010:
Yea, Im glad there are cheeses I am allowed to eat. I LOVE cheese!! Anyway, Im 18 weeks and 2 days along as of today. :)

legcramps on 10/12/2010:
Sounds like a busy but great day!

liza36 on 10/12/2010:
You got a great deal on the Laughing Cow cheese. I just tried their new sun dried tomato and mozzerella cheese, and it's fantastic. Had it with celery sticks.

Congrats on the loss!!

skinnygrlwithin on 10/12/2010:
Hey! Way to go on the loss... I know it's hard when you could have done better but didn't due to circumstances out of your control... but hey you did lose weight and that's what counts!! Also I probably would have killed him, hormones or not, I hate people that aren't very polite, or aware of their surroundings.

skinnygrlwithin on 10/12/2010:
Oh and as for last night.. the only reason why I stayed within calories was because I didn't eat dinner, and with so few calories I was such a light weight and got drunk off of THREE beers!!!!!

KathyBlue on 10/12/2010:
i posted some old photos... check them, you'll find them funny... but frightening!

KathyBlue on 10/12/2010:
ahhh, congrats on the loss! :) And don't choke him, lolololol... TOM's a very bad guy, really... :P

hollybelle on 10/12/2010:
Do you kow what the difference between a woman with PMS and a Terrorist is?.........You can at least negotiate with the terrorist! Good thing for that guy he left, is right!

KathyBlue on 10/12/2010:
btw i checked on Sunday how many calories a person burns while kissing, hugging, etc... I got a bit disappointed... so small amount! :)) I had high hopes, I would have changed one of my aqua-fitness classes to other fun stuff at home, eheheh....

biscottibody59 on 10/12/2010:
Good going on the loss today!

moogy on 10/12/2010:
Just think of that extra weight waiting to fall off in a couple of days. Sounds like you need a trained gator to take out obnoxious people - now wouldn't that be good!!! My husband was telling my daughter that they were driving along the highway and there were three gators just sunning themselves on the side of the road. So funny. Mind you, you wouldn't want to hit one, at least the snakes just go splat. Have a good day V.:)

breakaway on 10/12/2010:
Lol at hollys comment...enjoyed ur entry today...have to go check kathys pics now. Have a great day

just42day on 10/12/2010:
Yeah for coupons and savings. My personal best is a 24 pack of bagel thins for $0.51! Thought I won the frickin lottery! Yes, KathyBlue's transformation is amazing. What's doubly impressive is that she's done by modifying eating and increasing exercise. Amazing.

moogy on 10/12/2010:
I can absolutely see you with a gator attached to a sparkly collar and lead. Like an Egyptian queen arriving in style!!!!!

chidogs on 10/12/2010:
Weigh in is tomorrow, so I am trying to minimize any extras today. I may go for a slice of low fat mozzarella, give me something to really chew on. (foot isn't too clean right now anyway.)

moogy on 10/12/2010:
Perhaps with some matching Gucci boots, I mean you will have to go down the leather route won't you???????

just42day on 10/12/2010:
Hate to brag but I've also purchased lc cheese for $0.99 (on sale for $1.99 and had $1.00 coupon) tee hee :)

just42day on 10/12/2010:
Ah, grasshopper, the lessons are simple. Buy only on sale and buy quantities which will keep. Use coupons. If receipts contain "answer customer service survey for $" - do it. (I save $2-$5 at Petsmart on cat food each trip and that's on top of the mfg coupons for cat food, too). Last year a drug store was giving up to $50.00 in the store's gift cards if a prescription was transferred. I transferred what was needed, scored $50.00 then when my prescriptions ran out, I returned to my cheaper drug store. Still came out ahead at least $35.00. Found a hairstylist that charges only $20.00 for a hair cut & I'm happier w/her and my hair than I was with the previous $50.00 stylist. Always, always check receipts for accuracy (some stores refund 2x the price if item is wrong and I find something wrong at least once a month) Earlier this week I saved $4.00 on one item 'cuz shelf price listed one price but register charged me $4.00 more. It wasn't my fault the shelf price hadn't been updated and I was refunded the $4.00. This summer, a store ran out of sale item and didn't list "while supplies last". I spoke to the manager who gave me the next larger size at the sale price of the smaller item. Scored a $3.50 bottle of ketchup (it was ginormos) for $1.00. I was buying for a large BBQ at the time so it was a great deal. I'm really not a queen but I know I get the best deals I can w/out driving myself crazy. It's actually a sport to me. I've always been thrifty but went into overdrive since unemployed. If time permits, I also call mfg and request coupons. They usually send 5-6 coupons and frequently w/no expiration date. If dissatisfied w/a product, call mfg. Typically they'll send coupons for freebies because they appreciate the feedback. So much for today's lesson, grasshopper. You are young and can learn easily. :)

Hey Sweetie, 1 lb loss is good especially with TOM coming. You're doing an awesome job. I learned a lot from reading Just 4 Today's lesson to you. Maybe I can save a few bucks by her example. Take Care and I'll chat with you later. xoxo

i hope you feel better!! yes, caffeine can really be hard to get over - but also, just listen to your body. it may be that you just really need a day of rest. take care of yourself, xo

Umpqua on 10/11/2010:
Sorry you feel lousy. Traditional Medicinals makes some nice herbal teas for TOM/cramping etc . Maybe something like that could take the edge off for you. Hope the rest of the day goes well for you.

liza36 on 10/11/2010:
Hope you feel better!

I wished I could have been with you on your spa day - sounds heavenly! Glad you got some pampering time.

Maria7 on 10/11/2010:
Hello there...hope you feel better! :-)

nita51 on 10/11/2010:
I'll just bet you could write a book. I'd be your number one fan. Your a good writer. You seem to know how to spark one's interest and get the message across. How are you, Diva? Hope you're having a wonderful Monday. Stay sweet.

KathyBlue on 10/11/2010:
NO Starbucks???! That's the reason of the headache...! Seriously, try to drink even more water, girlie girl! It helped me, I'm nearly synthomless and I used to suffer from the same killing headache... BTW today went to work in my new pants ... :-))))) Huuuge success!!! :D Everybody was saying: "wow, you're so slim, so pretty, so beautiful.." Even my boss, turns to me and says in stealth-mode (almost whispering): "Oh, you're very pretty today!" and me, good old lioness: "If we were in the US you'd have gotten a pretty lawsuit on yourself by now, LOL"... :D I'm definitely NOT used to compliments on my looks... :)

chidogs on 10/11/2010:
Sorry you don't feel well. Hope you get right soon!

just42day on 10/11/2010:
I agree that no coffee could be the reason for the headache (in part). A headache is one sign of coffee withdrawal. Anyway, I do hope you're feeling better. When I was in high school I was appalled that some constantly complained about their TOM. I never had problems so I thought they were all a bunch of whiny light weights. Years later, I experienced severe cramps for the first time and I thought I'd never walk again. Payback is h*ll...Congrats on the football $. I see another spa day in your immediate future. :)

moogy on 10/11/2010:
Hey ! You can't man up if it TOM you have to woman up!! We are much tougher than them. Can you imagine if men had to do that every month. I hope that you are feeling better now, if not, there are things you can get to pass the time - they are called books!!! LOL Sorry couldn't resist. Feel better soon.:)

hopingforhealth on 10/11/2010:
Blech! I'm sorry you feel so bad today! Lack of caffeine could definitely be contributing. Maybe since coffee isn't good on an empty tummy you could have a diet soda? That may help.

Feel better! I won't let the .5 lb get me down. I moped about the impending weigh in Sunday, so I have it out of my system :)

hopingforhealth on 10/11/2010:
Nope, but I did have that barbecue and some fries on Saturday and lots of salt on Friday... I think that didn't help. It probably made me hang on to some water. Though, I have to say, I didn't think it would make me gain, with how good my other days were AND the fact that it turned out my calories were a little bit too low. But that's life! Slow and steady wins the race... I do think it's possible that it's partly muscle, since I am starting week three of weight training...before I joined the site, I was not working out AT ALL. I have been working out pretty regularly and my body feels more capable, so I know I am gaining some muscle mass at least. :)

hopingforhealth on 10/11/2010:
PS. I just saw that you updated since my first comment. I'm glad you are feeling better. Good commitment to get the work out in when you were feeling so crummy!

Maria7 on 10/11/2010:
Oh, you got your Starbucks!!! :-D

sweetpea1977 on 10/11/2010:
Glad you are feeling better after getting your coffee fix. That anniversary blend sounds delicious. I willl need it after baby #2 gets here. :)

breakaway on 10/11/2010:
Redonkulous! Love it lol. Good luck on ur weigh in!

sweetpea1977 on 10/11/2010:
yea, dogs are expensive! $140 for her annual checkup (includes shots). $50 for her heartworm prevention meds. And lets not forget boarding costs when we travel. Cats are slightly cheaper (no boarding for short trips and less shots), but they are the less fun pets for me. I despise cleaning out their litter box and deoderizing that whole area to rid of the urine stench. The only thing that gets rid of that smell is pure ammonia, which burns my lungs and eyes. Ugh. I rather scoop dog poop and de-shed my dog all day, lol!

Maria7 on 10/11/2010:
You drink your starbucks black...no sugar or anything???

Maria7 on 10/11/2010:
What is good healthy foods to munch on in the place of sunflower seeds...any recommendations???

moogy on 10/11/2010:
Hey do you like dogs or hanging out in swampy areas? I mean you do live in Florida!!!!(your Sweetpea comment on her page)

Maria7 on 10/11/2010:
Thanks.

just42day on 10/11/2010:
My friends see my "darkside" on a regular basis. They call me the porcupine because I'm "prickly on the outside but have a very soft underbelly".. :-)

just42day on 10/11/2010:
fyi: warner's abs kind of freak me out. It just ain't right for female to have those....

moogy on 10/11/2010:
Yep!! you got gattor's we got snakes and spiders, at least they don't drag you off and eat you wholesale! We always like knowing that we are 5 mins from a hospital!!

sweetpea1977 on 10/12/2010:
lol, cats kind of creep me out, especially when three or more live in the same house and meow at the same time. That slightly off-tone harmony of cats meowing really unsettles me. I blame it horror movies too. :)

just42day on 10/12/2010:
the only thing that bothers me about your stalking is that I know you have "family" in the Chicago area. I'm afraid....
