Not alot to say--I ate alot. Not real torn up about my food choices, still haven't been to the store. I did the jog about 30 minutes after the NordicTrack and it just about kicked my butt. High temp was about 80�F after snow on Saturday. Typical Texas Weather!

There's a mirror in the room where I use the Airdyne and it could sabotage me so badly if I let it. It must have been a reject from a "hall of mirrors," because my legs look no smaller than the first time I started using it about 3 years ago. And I know my legs are smaller--smaller in a regular mirror and smaller measurement-wise.

Mind you I do have big legs. I saw some program awhile back where this guy was getting implants in his calves because no matter how much he tried to bulk them up they stayed skinny. I don't have that problem. And I can actually pinch the skin, so I know I have very little fat back there. Still I can look at myself in that mirror and all I see is the same body from 3 years ago. I just have to remember it's not the same body!

Hi! My scale was exactly the same as WW but no I have not been to weigh in for several months now. I would love to go back but not sure what there going to rake out from my wallet to rejoin. If it's to much I won't go back but I have still been following there points and doing very well at that.

I think my full length mirror was made at the same factory as yours. I was feeling so thin and then when I looked in the mirror I realized that I'm still fat. It ruined my afternoon!

My weight's up--I pretty much expected such after not really tracking the last 2 weeks. As for measurements, I took 'em! Arm is down, but the rest are unchanged or ever so slightly up. Also, what I've noticed in the last week or so is that the ring of fat right below my biceps on both arms is gone--shocking! Other than that I'm still working on the midriff dimples--they're still there.

I didn't get my Circ Aer Wkt in yesterday--was just feeling kind of a little too crappy to do it. Will get it in today.

I'm determined to make my "good breakfast" a habit. Starting today, I will make a note of it below--yes/no.

We had a rare occurrence here overnight Friday into Saturday morning: Snow!--the kind that makes nice snow people and crunches when you walk in it! Very picturesque, covering everything, masking sounds, very serene.

I know alot of you--probably the majority, can't relate. You have so much snow year after year that you've had plenty after seeing it come down for 1 minute the first snowfall of the year. Not so around here. Our winter weather usually consists of a sleet or ice storm that makes driving ridiculous and dangerous. I've experienced snowfall like the one yesterday maybe 15 times in my 44 years. It was nice to see some decent snow people for a change:-)

Just enough--about 3 inches worth and lasted just long enough--it was gone by about 6 o'clock in the evening. I let my dog just get out and run outside (even though it was 5:30 a.m. and it was still coming down)--she had a blast! I came in, had a cup of coffee and went back to sleep for about 3 hours.

The following is a progress report for the last couple weeks for myself. In a nutshell, I've gotten about 30 oz water in every day, and I've been writing down my food in my little notebook, but have taken a break from Fitday--started back as of yesterday's food/exercise. However, I have been keeping up doing my Circuit Aerobic Workout every two days, my jogging and my NordicTrack.

Progress is as follows: On my measurements for 2 weeks ago (2.3), my Hip and Waist were down .5 inch each, Bust and Abdomen were down .25 inch each and the others were unchanged. My waist is below 32 inches since I don't know when.

Gollee! You've had a 40 pound weight loss! THAT is something! You mentioned your waist which is close to mine, an UNAPPEALING 33". I lose five pounds but the waist stays the same! Very discouraging, especially for someone who had a 24" waist in high school! I can't believe I was ever so tiny!

What fun for your dog! I would just die without snow for winter. I could never live where it never snowed. It's total relaxation for me when it does snow. I don't even mind to shovel it becuase it's my sanity! I love it! Anyway, your doing awesome and i just can't believe how much exercise you get in a day! That is just great! OH, and thanks so much for reminding me about my measurments lol I have been forgetting to have hubby measure me! I really want to get those so I know if I lose inches. How often you take measurements? I would probablly do once a month what do you think? Thanks and keep up the good worK!

Maybe I'll get a regular entry in later . . . meantime ya' just gotta love popular culture. Atkins was obese at his death, of course I thought when I saw him interviewed in the last couple years, he looked like he'd had a chin lift as does Wynonna, who I thought was the mother, turns out she's the daughter. Looks like Dr Phil needs to lose a few pounds too to keep having the authority to tell everyone they need to lose weight. Isn't it refreshing to know that fame and fortune doesn't immunize people from denial?

But back to Wynonna. (I'm not a fan, so forgive me, or not:-) She's been paying a personal trainer for the last 3 years?:-/! She sounds like such a candidate for Oprah's Martyr Club. Oh everyone depends on her, so she's fat, so she eats. She sounds like she has garden-variety hatred of her job to me.

We've all had jobs we hate. If it's causing you that much pain and you hate yourself in turn, but it keeps you in enough money to pay a personal trainer for not doing a damn thing for you for the last 3 years--god almighty, get a f*ck*ng clue!

Then she admits she's been in therapy (did it help, guess not!), but she's going to Oprah (before the DWI) to interview for Oprah's Martyr Club, oh and to be totally insufferable while kissing up to Oprah. I'm sorry if you're a big fan (of Wynonna), but she came off as such a selfish, self-absorbed, searching for belly-button lint, dissing her mother, butthead! And BTW, what of the black mole next to her eye--what is that about? Shouldn't Oprah have told her to see a dermatologist immediately?

All-in-all, I guess it made me feel pretty good--I haven't paid a personal trainer so far, and so far I'm holding my own, as are many of us--good for us! Maybe when I get all the life problems of the billionaire Oprah and can troll for obese celebrities to exploit for their weight loss journey during sweeps week (Feb and May--god, she's a genius--hahaha!), I'll hire Bob Greene too. Makes me wonder who the rejects were--I guess Whoopi! wasn't interested since she's doing slim-fast. And god forbid she just picks someone from the audience to follow along their journey!

Oh well that's how I wasted about an hour of my precious time this evening--I just thought it was going to get better as the hour with Wynonna went on--it just got more and more insufferable and sappy--Yeccchhhhh! But then again I got this raving rant out of it, and the satisfaction of knowing that I've gotten this far on my very own--priceless!

Keep on keepin' on ya'll--if what you're doing is getting too easy (or boring), give yourself a chance to tweak your routine a little! And don't be too hard on yourself--it takes time, but it's worth it!

I enjoyed your entry- that is some motivation! May not have a personal trainer but at least I have a sense of ownership- am trying to take control of my own life. Anyhow...

My recital program for the upcoming is the Halsey Stevens sonata, the Porrino Concertino, an undetermined piccolo piece, and the Plog Animal Ditties for fun.

Have another lesson tomorrow- hopefully not a traumatic one, as they sometimes tend to be.

Sunday's results for my 3-day (S-M-Tu) challenge consisted of 57g fat, a 225 cal deficit, and 76 oz water--1 out of 3 goals met. Only got about 20 min on the Airdyne. Tried to do a Circuit Workout--was so unmotivated. No jog. The only other thing was driving for about 2 hours. Having the challenge in mind did keep me making better food choices for the day. And I had a good breakfast:-)

Well, I saw the Tampax commercial again. It's a man and woman in a boat and the boat starts taking on water and she whips out a Tampax and plugs up the boat and there it is--with the string hanging in the breeze.

Took a day off from exercise. The only activity I got was alot of house cleaning. Now I don't know about ya'll, but I can jog, walk, stand, do alot of strenuous exercise and my lower back never even twinges. Let me get out the vacuum cleaner and go at vacuuming for a couple hours (off and on) and my back is screaming. It goes back to normal pretty quickly, but you'd think I'd be in a little better physical shape from all my dern exercise.

I'm starting another 3-day (S-M-Tu) challenge consisting of achieving the 70g fat goal, at least a 600 cal/day deficit, and at least 90 oz water. I don't want to be thinking this much about losing weight in the middle of summer. It gets old, real fast!

I want to look great in a swimsuit too! <P>I think vacuuming wouldn't be so strenuous if they made the handle like a lawnmower. As it is, all of the effort comes from one side of the body! No wonder we get worn out! Just think if you tried to mow your lawn one handed...

I'm at a new low today--not my regular weigh-in day, of course--but I'll take it--woo-hoo!

I did a 20 min Jog/10 min dog walk yesterday.

For the 3-day (W-Th-Fr) challenge:
Fat avg=67 (goal=70)
Water avg=84 (goal=90)
Deficit=411 (goal=700).

Calorie average for the 3 days was 2144. Overall, I'm pleased. Something I can go by for future challenges.

I might just try that. I know I eat too many carbs and don't really need the chips. At least they are the low fat kind. So keep up the good work.
