I'm going to shoot for 90-95% no added oil, salt, sugar mainly veg and a little fruit for the next week. I intend to get a wt trng session in every other day. I'm not going to overdo any of it. The last thing is to get to bed at a decent hour. I've become quite the night owl and it makes everything harder.

I am doing a horrible job of sticking to much of my plan. It's demoralizing. I'm going to let myself off the hook (have a mild pity party for a bit--not long) and reset things!

Also it only takes a couple of days of not much exercise for me to feel like I'm starting from rock bottom. I must keep this in the forefront of my mind. I guess a solution (and I've tried it from time to time) is to just resolve to do absolutely nothing for days/weeks. I don't really want to learn the long-term consequences of that.

Exercise: Airdyne 35 min (10 intervals of 1 min faster :: 1.5 min normal)

Sleep: 5 hrs

Water: 60 oz

Not fun having a pity party alone it tends to not last as long as when you have somebody else to vent with. LOL I know what you mean though.. nice to take a little break sometimes but also scary to think that we might not go back to what we should be doing. Have a great evening.

Well, after yesterday I really have no excuse not to step up my exercise/activity henceforth. (This is only the 80-millionth time I've had this same revelation in the last several years.)

I figured I'd have to take a bit of a break after 20 min (or so) of mowing. I got out there and lo and behold (once I came in for a break), I had been out 1 hr, 20 min non-stop. I used to like, then not-mind-too-much and then now hate mowing! It was mainly a bunch of weeds on the edges of the lawn that were 3-4 feet high. Still, it covered quite a bit of ground. It should stay in check until the next little spit of precipitation.

Exercise: Mowing 95 min; Weedeating 25 min

Sleep: 4 hrs

Water: 90 oz

Not really sure how much sleep I got, so I'll just say 6 hrs.

I've noticed the last two times I eat short-grain brown rice I sleep poorly. I only had a little yesterday to see what response I'd have. It's the only thing I can think of because other than the rice, I had only beans, vegetables (no SOS--salt, oil or sugar). I had only a banana for my fruit. And I ate the rice at lunchtime--none in the evening. It may just be a sensitivity that will resolve eventually like my others from years ago. I had no caffeine (not even decaf coffee) so I can't blame that. It's weird.

I got up and went outside around 3:30a, looked up and there was the Milky Way--too cool--I love seeing it especially when I don't expect it!

Didn't get anything but my "first thing" exercise yesterday.

Exercise: Airdyne 37 min (10 intervals of 1 min faster :: 1.5 min normal)

Sleep: 6 hrs

Water: 60 oz

We can't see the Northern Lights as far south as we are, so seeing the Milky Way from time to time is very special. Not a good comparison I guess, but anyway . . .
