Yesterday was a good back on track day... I ended the day with about 1270 NET calories, a soccer win, and the motivation to make a healthy dinner with plenty of leftovers for a couple lunches AFTER soccer last night:)   Today is a day off from the gym, but I plan on grocery shopping!

B:  2 sl toast (160) egg (70) cheese (70) coffee w/ sugar free coffee mate (40) 340
L:  quinoa w/ roasted red peppers, edamame, and toasted almonds (300) orange (50) 350
S:  Amy's tomato soup 260
S: popcorn ball 120

Total planned so far: 1070
Goal: 1500

Haha ...yes morning sleeping is one of my favorites, but I've already been dragging my butt outta bed to get to the gym so I thought it would be good to try and make the extra time. But yes, sleeping in is always so wonderful!

I'm keeping this weeks goals simple... I had a bit of an out of control Thanksgiving weekend, so I need managable goals to get back on track...
1.  Work out 4-5X this week (Sunday-Saturday)
2.  Track my food every day and post here
3.  Do not have any binges

I will obviously try to keep at my normal goals of 1000-1500 NET calorie per day.  But if I eat 1800 calories of healthy food and track it all, I will not consider that a "failure"  NEED to get back on track...   I also have some other goals that aren't "Health" related, but if I can accomplish them I will make strides towards my goals!
1.  Spend 15 minutes "cleaning" per night after work
2.  Plan at least 3 healthy meals for the week to make and GO GROCERY SHOPPING to buy the food for them.

Ok... that is my plan for the week...  Tonight is soccer with my SUPER annoying team, but at least my game is early (7:45) so I can go home and make somthing healthy and do my 15 minutes of cleaning!

B:  Dunkin donuts coffee with splenda and milk (50) 2 egg and cheese wake up wraps (300) 350
L:  Amy's No Chicken Soup (200) 2 packages oyster crackers (120) cottage cheese w/ pineapple (80) 400
S:  Mixed Nuts (180) 
S: sunchips 140
D:  Quinoa w/ edamame, roasted red peppers and toasted walnuts 500

Total 1570-300burned= 1270NET calories
Goal: 1000-1500 NET calories
Exercise: Soccer 300-400 calorie burn depending on how much playing time I get...

I'm just not going to talk about yesterday in terms of my weight loss goals... LOL... I didn't make healthy choices at all, but I had a good day with family and friends so I will leave it at that....  Today I'm at work-YUCK!  And I got subway on the way into work... I got a 12 inch veggie patty on flatbread thinking I'd have 1/2 for breakfast and the other 1/2 for lunch... I just did a nutrition calculator on it and its 1000 calories!  OUCH!!!

B:  1/2 subway sub 500
L:  1/2 subway sub 500

**update, I almost forgot when I posted yesterdays entry that not only did I play soccer, I also went to the gym to lift weights!!**

I did really well yesterday, and now my weight is trending down, getting close to back at the posted weight.  Ended the day at about 1540 calories and burned about 400 in soccer... Not sure what todays plans are, but I know I plan to stay on track!

B:  2 sl whole grain bread (160) egg (70) cheese (70) coffee (50) 350
L:  indian meal: 580
S:  popcorn ball (120) blackberries (30) 150

Goal: 1000-1500 NET calories

I know you're right... and I know I've been here before. I've been doing really good with the no scale thing... I only looked because I wanted to see my weight pre thanksgiving (since I'm taking the day off totally) and at the end of the challenge, if the crazy eating affected my weight loss in a positive or negative way...ya know how some times when you consume the same amount of calories every day sometimes a big eating day actually helps you lose weight?

I have to admit...while I'm frustrated that the number hasn't budged on the scale, I know that I've done really well over the last 9 days and I have nothing to really beat myself up over. But yes...the scale, it's a very frustrating invention. You do have the right idea about not letting it define you. I am doing my best to remember that.

49g pack of Tic Tacs is nearly 200 calories! That's the big pack, not the regular size.

I had a great time this weekend, but I didn't focus food... I am beating myself up a bit over this, but...I need to move on!  Friday evening I quickly went to the gym after work and then took my step daughter to see twilight breaking dawn part 2 and out for thai food and starbucks...

Saturday I woke up early, got a good workout in and then went to the WINE FEST!  It was a great time and then we went out for italian food afterwards...  I went to bed SUPER early as all that wine really got to me...

Yesterday things fell apart... Hubby and I stayed in and had italian leftovers and chinese food and watched football all day.  It was fun and relaxing, but the scale was HORRIFIC this AM, I'm pretty much back at my starting weight.  I'm not going to record until I've had a couple days of being back on track, but I am so mad at myself!!

Tonight is soccer and I can't say I'm looking forward to it as my team is just not fun... Hopefully tonight will be better...

B:  large coffee (50) 2 egg and cheese wake up wraps (300) 350
L:  Amy's light and lean spaghetti and "meatballs" w/ added mushrooms (250) orange (60) 310

You can't beat yourself up over stuff that has already passed...I know, far easier said than done, wish I could take my own advise... haha but I at least have to put it out there.

And look on the positive side, you went to the gym twice this weekend..that's awesome!

For some reason, I couldn't find the motivation to count calories yesterday... I got a great workout in, and ate mainly healthy foods, but I am quite positive I probably ate around 2000-2200 calories... Too many... They just opened a Moe's about 1/2 mile from my house so we tried it out last night...  I was going to eat only 1/2 my burrito and 1 or 2 chips, but it was right after the gym and I was starving, and I ended up eating the whole thing...  Inhaling is more like it... Not sure why I was so dang hungry last night!

Today is a planned day off from exercising... I lifted legs at the gym yesterday and they are getting sorer by the minute!!!   I'm hoping to track calories today and have a healthy day all around...

I completely agree with V... and sometimes I think it's ok to not count calories...eat healthy but not count calories... it'll be fine. I know that hungry feeling, that was me this morning!

Btw, are you and the hubby free this weekend? Nate and I were thinking about watching the fights, not sure though...but wanted to see if you were free.

My weekend was great!  I did lots of fun stuff... Football game, shopping with my mom, James Bond Movie, out to watch football, a little cleaning...   Went running on Saturday and went to the gym yesterday... I ate healthy for the most part but did have a couple indulgences...  My weight is up 1/2 a pound from last week, and I'm not surprised as if I don't track specifically I do not lose weight, pretty much ever....   But I know if I get back to it today, I can have a great week leading up to the wine festival next week!!!

We are not going to soccer this week... I mentioned last week that my team is just not fun AND the game is at 11:00 pm tonight so it would throw my schedule off for the entire week... I'm just not willing to do that for a team with such a bad attitude...

Woke up and REALLY didn't feel like going to the gym, but knew it would be the only chance I had to workout today... Somehow going for a run outside seemed less horrible than going to the gym, so I'm happy to say I made myself do a 1.5 mile run!!!  Now its off for a day of fun with hubby and my step daughter!  First stop college Football game... hometown rivals RPI versus Union College then out to lunch, followed by the new James Bond movie... I will be striving to stay healthy!
