I had a great weekend:)  We got our hot tub up and running...  It fits beautifully on our screened in porch and it was finally warm enough to enjoy last night!!  I ALMOST skipped working out yesterday, but it was SO beautiful out at 1PM, that I MADE myself go for a run... I ran 1.5 miles in shorts and a tank top... I MUST say that it felt VERY wrong to be running by christmas decorations in upstate NY in shorts and a tank top, but I loved it!!!  When I got home I did some pushups and some biceps curls with my dumbbells... Not my BEST workout ever, but way better than nothing... I didn't meet my hot for the holidays challenge as I only had 3 days of "formal" exercise with cleaning the house and moving in the hot tub, but today starts a new week, so I can only try this week!  Weight looked pretty good after a moderately indulgent weekend this morning, just up .5# from posted...  Have a great day everyone!

B:  3 van's waffles

S:  habanero BBQ Almonds

L:  Pad Thai and nature valley granola bar

S:  hummus, pretzel chips, grape tomatoes

D:  large serving homemade quinoa tabouleh with grape tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow pepper, parsley, mint, smoked tofu and toasted walnuts... Delish!!

S:  2 slices ezekial toast one topped with almond butter and banana and the other topped with peanut butter and banana... man swimming makes me SO hungry!!

Workout:  45 minutes (50 laps) freestyle (the crawl) at the pool

Progress as of today: 4.6 lbs lost so far, only 6.4 lbs to go!

Kati on 12/05/2011:
sounds like lotsa fun!!! :D

sweetpea1977 on 12/05/2011:
Glad you had a good run over the weekend. I felt weird hanging outside wearing a tank top while my boys were wearing hats and coats, lol. I ended up putting on a thin jacket to fit in a little better, lol.

hollybelle on 12/05/2011:
Unseasonably warm here, too - it's coming to an end at the end of the week - we have torrential RAIN here - all day today and tomorrow and I have "lake" in my backyard! If it was colder this would be snow! That would be a prpoblem!

grannyannie on 12/05/2011:
Well done on the workout and jealous of your hot tub! Weather is being so weird!

V on 12/05/2011:
I bet you are digging that hot tub!! I would be so stoked!! Great job on the workouts my friend!!

Tangalyn~ on 12/06/2011:
congrats on the hottub.. let me know when u want me to come visit *wink* jk.... i agree with the feeling 'wrong' but im also loving the weather, ive been getting walks in too without freezing and its been great! hope u have a wonderful day :)

I'm happy to report I'm back to posted weight!!! Woo-Hoo!!!  I took yesterday off from exercise completely as I was so sore I couldn't move!  I made myself a healthy dinner of isreali couscous w/ chick peas, tomatoes and tahini sauce, finished a good book and went to bed early!  Today my plan is to get at least a 1.5 mile run in at the gym on the treadmill... Possible some hill walking on the treadmill as well... Hubby comes home tonight and then we both have a 3 day weekend!!!

B:  couscous stuffed 1/2 ezekial pita

S:  honey roasted cashews

L:  leftover isreali couscous from last night

S:  banana and granola bar

Progress as of today: 4.6 lbs lost so far, only 6.4 lbs to go!

Hello!  Yesterday was a good day overall... Ate some unplanned homemade chips and salsa at work... OMG they were amazing, but stayed on track other than that... I went to a 60 minute chisel class at the gym... She conducted the whole class as a TABATA HIIT class, so I got some cardio out of it too... Woo Hoo!!!  Today my ENTIRE body is so sore it hurts to move, but I'm thrilled about that:)  I'm really trying to incorporate more resistance training to amp up my metabolism so sore muscles are a good thing!!!

I'm THINKING today will be a day off from working out, but I may go swimming again as I enjoyed it SO much on Monday... I'm thinking the water may be a good thing for my sore muscles... We shall see...  I really NEED to run at least once this week, but I was just SO sick of HAVING to run during my training, that I was starting to resent it...  I made a deal with myself that for the next month or 2 I only have to run once a week as a MANDATORY run, as long as I am doing other kinds of workouts... I don't want to lose my leg muscles and my running endurance, but mentally I totally need a break....

In other exciting news... I'm about 90% sure that hubby and I are getting a HOT TUB this weekend!!  I cannot tell you how excited I am as this is somthing that I have desperately wanted since we bought our house 2 and 1/2 years ago... Off of our kitchen we have a HUGE screened in patio that is just BEGGING for one...   That hot tubs we have been looking at at the local spa store that work with our electrical system are about $3000 and we had been thinking about using our tax return and MAYBE thinking about one in the Spring... But... we have been religiously scouring craigslist for the last 6 months and low and behold one of the exact brand of hot tub we wanted was on there last weekend for $800!!!!!  Its a slightly different model than we were planning on buying, but still a 4 person one and its only 3 years old in very good condition.....

A somewhat older couple owns it and the husband drives a truck for a living and he has been traveling longer routes lately and isn't home enough to use it, so they are getting rid of it... The best part is that they can deliver it as he can use his truck:)

My step father in law put framed plastic in all of the screened area of our porch to wind proof it... He is going to remove the door from our garage and some of the frame so we can get it inside AND he is going to do somthing to our electrical system so that even though its just a plug and play model, we will have a dedicated fuse for the hot tub!!!!!!!

I say 90% sure b/c the husband is away as of today (the would have brought it last night, but with hubby out of town, I'm not having strangers at my house!!!) and they are not 100% sure when he will be back, but they THINK this weekend... We are free Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for delivery, so it sounds like it will  work... As it is craigslist, I won't be 100% sure or excited until its on my patio, plugged in, heated up, and my butt is sitting in it enjoying it!!, but it looks like its going to happen!!!

Can you tell I'm excited?????

Ok today's food

B:  Sandwich on 2 slices ezekial bread (180) 3 slices tofurky (90) lettuce, pickles (5) veganaise (50) 325

S:  banana 80

L:  Kashi enchilada (300) this has been sitting in my freezer for ages... It has dairy WAAAY down the list of ingredients, but I would have felt REALLY bad throwing it out, so I'm just going to eat it... I've told myself I'm only 90% vegan, and I've donated most of my dairy and egg containing foods to the food pantry, but that only really works for the shelf stable things... I'm probably just going to eat the frozen meals (there are like 3 or 4) at a rate of 1-2 per month until they are gone....

S:  maple chipotle almonds 150

S:  curry tofu salad 150

Total so far: 1005

Progress as of today: 4.6 lbs lost so far, only 6.4 lbs to go!

Kati on 11/30/2011:
ohhh, I see someone's getting the hang of swimming like me, hihih!

glycrina on 11/30/2011:
when can I come over to use the hot tub? LOL! Sooo jealous! You deserve it.

Umpqua on 11/30/2011:
Awesome job on the exercise! And yay for the hot tub, that's a great deal. We just got rid of ours that came with the house, it had plumbing issues and we never used the thing. I'm sure you guys will enjoy yours!

grannyannie on 11/30/2011:
Good idea to do more resistance to build muscle and speed up metabolism! Glad you enjoy the swimming, really helps to enjoy the workouts. Hot tub! Jealous! Have a great day!

legcramps on 11/30/2011:
Wonderful! Hot tubs are great therapy for tired muscles :) Good job on your 5k during Thanksgiving - I don't blame you for wanting a break from training!

sweetpea1977 on 11/30/2011:
I think swimming is the perfect for balancing out the weightlifting and running. Its real easy on the joints while still providing your body a great cardio workout, so its more like an active recovery exercise. My gym has a lap pool, but is usually occupied by senior exercise groups when Im there. I hope to do it at some point. I miss swimming!

Congrats on the possibility of getting a hot tub. That will feel great to your muscles! :)

moogy on 11/30/2011:
Nice! Hot tub close to the kitchen and it is being delivered at an excellent price, perfect!! That will help your sore muscles!!:)

V on 11/30/2011:

Weight today was not bad!!  200 even...  Considering it was just Thanksgiving weekend and I ate, while healthy, too many calories yesterday, I'll take it!

I ended up swimming 56 laps/lengths at the local high school pool last night and swam for about 55 minutes...  I'd forgotten how much I LOVE swimming... I'm hoping to add that as a weekly rotation in my exercise all winter!

Hubby left to go out of town for work until Thursday night today, so I'm on my own for the next few days... I'm hoping to get lots of healthy eating and some good exercise in while he is away... Today I'm thinking a 1 hour chisel class at the gym and maybe a little bit of running on the treadmill... Not 100% sure though so I will report back!!

B:  Amy's Vegan Burrito 300

S:  Tiny bit of leftover barley salad 150

L:  Vegan Indian meal 400

S:  raspberries (40) granola bar (150) 190

D:  Salad w/ lettuce, tomato, onion, falalfel, and ezekial pita w/ this AMAZING vegan creamy dill dip!!  No idea how many calories...

Total so far: 1040

Goal:  No SPECIFIC goal but definitely under 2000... I'm still not planning on counting my calories long term, but I was eating a bit out of control over the weekend, so I'm reigning it in by counting calories for a few days...

Progress as of today: 4.6 lbs lost so far, only 6.4 lbs to go!

Awesome job on the swimming, it's such wonderful exercise! And that's what I like about the dark chocolate, the taste is too strong to over indulge (unlike milk chocolate, which leads to trouble for me :)

Great job on all that swimming!

It's so nice to re-encounter a sport or exercise that you love. Nice job on the swimming. It's the perfect winter exercise if you have an indoor pool.

Thanks so much for your comments. It always helps!

Hello Everyone!  Hopefully everyone had a happy and (relatively) healthy Thanksgiving weekend...  Mine was a good balance of food, fun and fitness...   Thursday morning bright and early was my Thanksgiving 5k... I totally rocked it!!!  My "chip time" was 34:57... This is only less than 30 seconds off of my best 5k ever, so I was quite pleased!!!   Thanksgiving dinner was at my mother in law's house and I was quite healthy considering it was thanksgiving!  A few potato chips, pita, veggies and hummus for appetizers...  At dinner I had a large portion tossed salad, a medium portion of mashed potatoes, and a large portion of butternut squash...   At home later that night I got hungry so I made some vegetarian stuffing (stuffing is my FAVORITE and I haven't been able to eat it at holidays since going vegan...).

Friday hubby and I did a THOROUGH house cleaning... Our house looks AWESOME!!!  I had to come into work for a couple hours in the afternoon.  Then Friday night we did ROCK and BOWL with another couple we are friends with... Woo Hoo... Blast from the past... I drank a bit too much Friday night... OOPS and was VERY slow moving saturday:)

Saturday I lounged around and ordered chinese food...  Then hubby motiviated us both to go to the gym and lift weights!!!!!  Saturday night was relaxing as we stayed in and watched movies...

Yesterday, I went grocery shopping and watched football......  Eats were healthy, but I ate too much food overall!!

I haven't weighed myself since Friday, but I'm thinking I'm probably up a few pounds...  I'm back on track today!!!!!  I plan on going to the gym-hopefully to a class today after work!  Hubby and I both took Friday off so its a short week for me again this week!!!

B:  Amy's tofu scramble pocket 180

L:  Homemade barley and peach salad topped with avocado... Maybe 400?

S:  chips and salsa (200) granola bar (170) raspberries (40) 410

D:  Pre swimming:  sandwichw/ 2 slices whole wheat toast (200) tofurky (100) veganaise (50) pickles (0) 350

D:  after swimming... My sandwich was SO good... I decided to have the same one again... 350

D:  more barley salad 400

Total so far: 2090... Too high... Tomorrow I will try for lower!!  I feel pretty good about my choices though:)

Exercise:  56 laps in the pool.... Woo Hoo!!!  I did 10 lengths freestyle... 2 lengths breast stroke to catch my breath...  20 lengths freestyle... 2 lengths breast stroke 2 lengths back stroke  20 lengths freestyle...

I'm now STARVING!!!!!  LOL

Progress as of today: 4.6 lbs lost so far, only 6.4 lbs to go!

grannyannie on 11/28/2011:
Well done on your 5k! Good job on Thanksgiving day. Stay away from the scale if you think you gained and don't get on until you know you'll be happy with what it says. That's been my policy anyway. :-) Have a good workout at the gym today!

Yesterday was a good overall day with eating...  Unfortunately too many carbs, so I got home at 6:30 PM starving like a mad person!!!  What I have noticed about eating vegan in particular (it was also a bit of an issue with vegetarian) is that as long as I make my own meals or chose where I go out to eat, I'm great about chosing balanced choices with carbs, veggies, protein etc...  When I am in social situations where there are limited vegan options, they are OFTEN just the carbs...  Too bad I can't carry some beans or tofu around in my back pocket to whip out when needed... LOL... Yesterday's eats:  whole wheat bagel w/ smart balance, pretzel chips and hummus, a whole yellow pepper...   Oven baked homemade "fries" (from the culinary class I helped teach)...  That was it until 6pm, so you can imagine my carb crash... It was hard and painful!!!  I needed SUBSTANCE for dinner so I picked up burritos full of beans and tofu... AWESOME!!!  I ran to target for a couple little things...  $118 later I left... OUCH!!!  I stopped on the way home and got a soy chai latte at starbucks... OMG AMAZING...  I had been getting my lattes (however very infrequently) for YEARS with skim milk...  It was amazingly rich and creamy with a little fat from the soy milk... YUM!!!

Where I work, my department won 2nd place in a national diversity in the workplace contest from earlier this year...  They send my director lots of gift cards for us to go out for lunch and celebrate, so I get to leave work at 1:30 PM for our celebration!!!   Of course, there is nothing protein rich on the menu I can eat... BUT... There is a portabello sandwich or pasta w/ fra diavolo sauce I can get, and the place has a killer salad bar if I remember correctly so I should be good to go...

I was SUPPOSE to go running this morning so I could partake in a glass of wine at the celebration, but I woke up to snow and a headache, so alas I did not run... Which means I CANNOT have a glass of wine because I must go to the gym running after lunch...  I would just go tomorrow but tomorrow is a busy jam packed day of road trip to trader joe's and whole foods and then I PROMISED my step daughter I would take her to breaking dawn in the evening...  I think I would be disowned if I didn't make good on that promise... LOL!!!

Today's plan:

B:  Amy's black bean burrito and 1 serving cashews

L:  TBD-I will report back!!

Progress as of today: 4.6 lbs lost so far, only 6.4 lbs to go!

liza36 on 11/18/2011:
The portabello sandwich choice for lunch sounds delish! Have fun at the celebration.

Can't wait to hear about your awesome food finds and TJ and Whole Foods. Have a great weekend.

Kati on 11/18/2011:
I thought hummus was a product of animal origins. Humm. I still think we're obsessing too much about food. Looks like as if food would occupy our minds 7/24. I remember my summer vacations in 2010, my friends were here and I had DAYS when I forgot about my worries on food and eating, and it was very REFRESHING. A perfect feeling! Since then, my thoughts have been around seeking healthy foods, eating and dieting constantly, and it made me crazy. Literally... Lead me directly to binges and the awful feelings afterwards. Now, what I try to do is: I plan, in 5 minutes, what to eat the next day. Then, I grab the stuff in the morning, pack it, put it in my bag and I have the topic covered for the rest of the day. No binges, no compulsive food shopping. I have no money with me, nor credit cards. By the time I get home, I have my planned dinner and have something extra - then I prepare myself for the next day. This is it, this works for me. I don't have to think about food constantly, I have everything in the fridge for a whole day. Perfect.

~WI~ on 11/18/2011:
Congrats on the 2nd place award! And Target is a dangerous store for me LOL have a wonderful weekend!

Umpqua on 11/18/2011:
Your foods all sound great! We missed out on the snow here, thankfully (that NEVER happens, right?) I've been meaning to tell you, I had dinner with my vegan friend in NYC Saturday. Not only is she vegan (well, she's vegan about 90 percent of the time she says), but she's gluten free as well! Eating out was a challenge, since my other friend is a meat lover and would not consider eating at a vegetarian or vegan joint. I can't imagine how challenging that would be, but she says it's not a big deal and she eats out quite a bit. I don't know if I could be THAT restrictive...Have a wonderful weekend!

V on 11/18/2011:
Congrats on your award!! Woohoo :) Have a great weekend!!

My stomach has been a little off all day yesterday and this morning and I'm thinking maybe its because I've eaten too many processed foods lately... Trying to remedy that today!!  The hockey game was a blow out and out team lost... :(  I also didn't get home until 10PM, so I did not get a workout in yesterday...   Today I have to go to a conference for work at a local hotel... One thing I hate about eating vegan is events like this... I felt rather silly emailing the sponsor to let her know my "special request" for lunch...  She is a dietitian who works for a drug company, so luckily as a dietitian I'm confident she is familiar w/ vegan...  She says the hotel will have a special meal for me... I have NO idea what it will entail, but I'm just happy that they will have somthing!

Its chilly here in upstate NY today so I'm going to TRY to run on the treadmill after work... UGGHHH!!!  I rarely can get a good run in on it, but I NEED to run as I haven't since Sunday!  I'm thinking maybe a sprint workout to break things up?  We shall see... I will report back!

B:  Green smoothie w/ almond milk, tiny splash OJ, 1/2 banana, 1 cup raw spinach, frozen peaches and berries, 1/2 carrot, 1/2 scoop wheatgrass powder, 1/2 scoop raw brown rice protein powder... YUMMY!

S:  fruit and nut trail mix

L:  The conference is from 1-2 so lunch will be late and I'm still a little worried about what I will get served so I had 150 calorie Amy's Mexican tamale Pie... Its low cal, natural and delicious...  This way, if the lunch is a bust, I won't be STARVED, but I've only eaten an extra 150 calories if the lunch turns out awesome!

L:  tossed salad w/ mesculin, tomato, cucumbers and carrots and 3 pieces roasted eggplant all w/ balsalmic dressing... Delicious, but not filling at all!

S:  Hummus w/ pretzel chips and yellow pepper slices

D:  BBQ tofu homemade tacos...  Whole grain shells, tofu, black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, vegan sour cream... I was STARVING!!!

S:  vegan dark chocolate with almonds and dried cherries

Progress as of today: 4.6 lbs lost so far, only 6.4 lbs to go!

Kati on 11/16/2011:
Bahhh, I hear you on that!!!! I ALWAYS forget to ask for vegetarian meal on the act of booking for a flight, and they never change my food on board... Plane food sucks most of the time, and the vegetarian options are far better, well, MOST OF the time. They never have "vegan" options. Can't you just pack your own meal and take it to the conference so you can eat it there? Or will it be something formal, a lunch gathering w/ fellow members, something like that? Eating is such a social event, it's not just a "pure necessary" anymore...

Kati on 11/16/2011:
Just trust her on this one, don't overstress it. :) Some nice tofu cassarole would do the trick ;-))) Concentrate on the event itself! :) It'll be fun! :)

grannyannie on 11/16/2011:
Thanks for your comments! Yea, processed food is bad. You're starting out healthy this morning. Hope you get a nice meal at the conference!

You know i used to think the same way about "being that person" with the special requests but you know it is better than siting there hungry because there is nothing you care to eat..Even when i go out to eat, I have no shame in saying, "hold" certain items that I don't care for..BTW your menu looks AMAZING :) Keep up the great work getme :)

Hello everyone!  I have taken a break from the blog, but not a break from a healthy lifestyle... Phew...   I've really been thinking about some things in terms of health  and eating and living for the past few weeks...   I am TOTALLY enjoying my mainly vegan diet and it is really giving me a new perspective...

I KNOW I weigh more than I should...  I KNOW that I have had (somewhat still do) an unhealthy relationship with food for a very long time now...  I'm either meticulously counting every single calorie or I'm binging...  I'm very bad at moderation...  Not only with food, but with a lot of things in life, but food is definitely the worst...  I've spent some time reading the blog   ohsheglows.com and what Angela, the author has to say on the blog really resonates with me...   And there are some AMAZING healthy vegan recipes also!!

That said, for the time being, I am taking my focus off of calories in and calories out...  It really feels liberating and amazing... For the first time in as long as I can remember, I am focusing on my health...   Not counting every single calorie or conversely eating a whole lot of junk and feeling guilty about it, because literally I have bounced back and forth between the two FOREVER...  I am trying to make and eat healthy, wholesome vegan food, and TRYING to listen to my body's cues...  Its a work in process as I have ignored true hunger/fullness for a very very long time....

I am also focusing on my health in that I am working out with a high intensity frequently and thanking my body for having the capability to do what I ask of it and to get stronger and faster (well a TINY bit faster).

Over the weekend I went to a free wine festival friday night and had chipotle for dinner...  Saturday I went to a gravity yoga class... (literally yoga swinging from the rafters-really cool) and out for giant salads with my two best friends.  Sunday I ran a practice 5k, cooked vegan meatloaf and greenbeans almondine and watched football with my husband...  It was a good and productive weekend:)

For right now, I am not going to be logging every single thing I eat, or if I do log, I will not post the calories.... but this could definitely change...  And if I find myself eating mindlessly or binging, then I will HAVE to get back to logging and possibly even counting calories...  I definitely still need to lose weight, but I'm really trying to love myself now and not have expectations that I will "be a better person" or somehow more deserving if I get to x weight...

I am going to make short goals focused on health more than exercise in the near term...  Right now my goal is to properly fuel my body and train for the 5k I have on Thanksgiving...  After thanksgiving, I will pick a new short term goal...   Some of these goals may specifically be weight related, but not all of them will...   Make no mistake, I still need and want to lose weight... I'm just going to try to remember to enjoy and love my life in the mean time....

I will be posting most days here as I really do love the conversation and the support of all you girls... I couldn't have come to the above decisions about deserving to be happy without all of you!

Tonight I am going to a Division 1 college hockey game at our cross town rivalry with hubby, my mom, and her BF... The good news about hubby working at a hoity toity college is... Free hockey tickets:)

I almost forgot...Don't know how I could have because I'm SO excited!!!  This Saturday, my mom, my step daughter and I are taking a road trip 1.5 hours away to Amherst Mass. to go to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods!!!!!   I'm a little obsessed with grocery stores and I'm loving organic and natural things right now!!!  I've only been to each once and wasn't really able to buy much as I had to fly home!  I'm researching up a storm!  Anyone shop here ever?  Whats good and healthy??

B:  bagel w/ toffuti

L:  leftover vegan meatloaf and green beans

S:  kettle brand salt and black pepper chips-these look and sound amazing, but they are just not that good... BLAH!   and 1/2 pint of blackberries

D:  Moe's vegan burrito

Progress as of today: 4.6 lbs lost so far, only 6.4 lbs to go!

That yoga gravity class sounds cool! It sounds like you have put a lot of thought into your new plan and it seems like a very healthy and sensible approach to overall lifestyle change. I'm sure you're going to have great success with it!

I used to do my regular grocery shopping at Trader Joe's when it was close by, it's awesome! Great prices, you really can't go wrong there. I like their hummus, great cheese selection and I'll bet they have great vegan cheese too. I like their soups, their fruit juices....I could go on and on, I'm sure you'll have a great trip!

V on 11/15/2011:
Girl you have to do what is best for YOU!! Congrats!! Oh man I miss Trader Joes, they don't have them down here :( I love the wines on the cheap there, don't get me started..hahaha anyways I am sure you are super excited for the girl trip :) Love ya!!

The bread is really good and especially for me since I am not much of a bread eater..It is supposed to be kept in the fridge or freeze because of the live sprouts. I keep mine in the freeze and put a few slices in the fridge at a time..I had the same loaf for a month now...It is packed with protein too :) I like the sesame one the best

Do what feels right for you and you'll get healthier and fitter! Have a good evening!

grannyannie on 11/15/2011:
Thanks for the comment on my photo! The gym is 20 miles round trip and our petrol is very expensive. So with the big 6-0 I get free bus and big discount on the gym membership! Can't wait!

liza36 on 11/15/2011:
Good luck with your plan. You have thought it out, and I know you can do it!

I live close to both Trader Joes and Whole Foods. I love Whole Foods produce and their ready-to-eat selections in their deli. Their soups are good. At Trader Joes I also love their hummus, their breakfast bars (love the fig kind), and they have some microwaveable meals that are good. I'm not a big cook, so convenience foods are easy for me.

Enjoy your shopping trip! Let us know what awesome things you find.

Being healthy is more important than 'thin' or 'fat' :) have a great trip!

Kati on 11/15/2011:
wow, eye-opening post! I've been thinking about the same thing. I left calorie-counting and DIET concepts. I'm trying to establish a healthy relationship with food, in order to be able to be healthy, period. I also have the binge problem, then the guilt problem... oh god, we have to let ourself indulging sometimes!!! Holidays, special occasions come and go, we have to participate and find a mentally healthy way to "survive" or I go further: ENJOY these events because they make part of life, they bring families and friends together, they comfort us... So, I'm with you, girl!!!! :)

I actually skipped the Amy's tamale and dark chocolate on my plan and had a small hot pretzel for an evening snack... So it probably worked out about the same...
