Have been doing pretty well on eating better.  It is finally cooler here so I am making a big pot of beef,barley and mushroom soup(yum). It is not that bad calorie wise and full of veggies. Went to the skin Dr yesterday for a full body check and checked out well.  That was a relief since I am outside more than inside and not always good with the sun screen.

The Dad fell down this morning in his bathroom.  He says he is ok and didn't hit his head, so no emergency room visit. He built this house 45 yrs ago and has done no remodeling. I think the linolium is just starting to get slick and shiny so will need to at least replace that soon. Always something going on with him.

The weekend food consumption was not very good, but yesterday I did much better.  All the sweets I love are gone so should make life easier.  i still have homemade cookies in the freezer for the hubby but I'm not a huge cookie fan. Today's planned menu:

B 2 soft boiled eggs,slice corn bread, Melon.

L Big salad w Fat Free Dressing,2 slice light bread 2oz turkey.

D ham omlete, skinny fried pot and peppers 1/2 driy eng muffin

S apple, melon, cherry tomatoes

exercise will probably be only walking the dog,my back has been really sore maybe from the weight that I gained back. Will maybe trie some light stretches. Have a great day!

 Have not posted in a while, so here goes.  I gave up WW for the winter as hubbys hours at work are also cut back so budget is too tight.  I have gained 8 pounds so think a bit of accountablity might help .

Have been very busy with Dad's dr appt and just not paying enough attention to what I'm eating.  Doctor visits are winding down again so I am going to try planning meals again, since I am not as good at winging it as I had thought I'd be.  Will try to post daily and keep a food journal again.

We have a giant wild fire here so it has been way to smoky to exercise outside and pretty smoky inside too. I will try to do floor exercises at least 4 days a week.

I am still going back and forth on my weight loss with not much progress to show for all the time put in.  We have a really tight budget so I feel guilty spending the money on weight watchers each month when I am not actually showing any losses, but I am afraid if I quit my weight will rapidly go up again.  

Had to give up my daily walks for the summer, but have started doing some floor exercises at night when its a little cooler.  Have been working in the gardens for about an hour most mornings and have some large mosaics I'm working on that require standing and walking around them.  I figure every little bit of movement helps.  On the plus side our garden is really over producing now so I have lots of veggies to help cut some calories with.

It's what is inside of you that will get you to your goals whether it is Weight Watchers or doing it yourself with watching what you eat and your portions. What ever you do, stay with it! Think if you weren't working so hard at this, you might be 5 pounds more than you are now - so give yourself kudos for achieving what you have! Great job!

It has been 2 months or more that I have lost weight one week and gained it back the next week.  I tried convincing myself that I was now happy with the weight I am now at but I  am not happy. I really need to lose another 25 pounds or more to be at a healthier weight.  So I am going to go back to pre-planning my meals, no more eating on the fly.  I am also going back to exercising in the mornings.  I have been just walking everyday, but we will be putting the bull in the pastures where I walk so that will be ending soon.  Tne man who runs the cattle says the bull is friendly but I always feel like a walking target. Also I walk with my dog and he tends to annoy the cattle.    

I know I can do this!  It is just so hard to stay focused all the time and so easy to slip back into bad habits. Lately I have been using any excuse to slip up( holiday, birthdays, margarita sundays) and that has just got to stop. Well that is the new plan. Hope you all have a good week.

sorry I haven't logged on in a few days, I'm from rural northern california, in the middle of a bunch of wineries. Because of all the wine tasting rooms and no side walks on our narrow roads I have to walk in the fields, cows beat out wined up drivers any day.

NEVER give up :) I am in your boat. and just so you know you aren't the only one, I HAVE to plan my meals or I'd fall off the wagon completely. it' the only way - as a calorie-counter - that I can make sure I am eating right and healthy. keep up the great work.

 weigh in today lost 1.6, not alot but I'm OK with it.  Really tired and grumpy today, spent 3 days cooking and cleaning for Easter Dinner, that everyone eats in 30 minutes.  Holidays are hard work. My husband did help with the dishes because I had cut my finger while cooking.  I went and bought some dish washing gloves today so I'll have that job back now.  My Dad and I are supposed to plant the veg. garden this week. that is always pretty good exercise but is going to be harder with the finger out of commission.  Oh well, life always seems to throw you a curve ball now and then.

You're right - holidays are tough. I think people should have potlucks; everyone brings something and helps set up and clean up, and then it's not so bad for the host. Good job with your loss, keep it up and hope you're not so grumpy anymore :)

 weigh in today gained 1.4 pounds.  Yikees!!  i really worked hard last week on the yard and even cleaned and organized my craft shop but just did not do a good job of planning ahead on meals.  Made poor last minute choices when I was completely tired out.  This week I wil plan ahead better, already went to store yesterday and bought supplies. I have also kind of planned out the menu for the week.  I am also going to try to take a break in the afternoon to drink some water and a snack so I will not be so hungry at dinner time.  

Well thats the plan anyway, I'll see how well I execute it.  The break will be the hardest as I'm a work till you drop kind of person most the time.  Hope you all have a great week!

 Weigh in today finally lost 3 pouinds, 190 was so hard to get past.  This past week I really worked on tracking and staying more active.  I will keep it up this week.  I was worried about Easter coming up and holiday eating seems to really throw me off, but sounds like most of my family will be gone, so it will just be my Dad and Husband which is not a bad thing.                     Hope everyone has a good week.

Skipped weigh in this week.  WW is on a 4 week exercise talk program, lots of talks on joining gyms and exercise groups which is not even an option for me while I'm still caretaking the Dad.  Weighed my self at home and I was up .2 which I can live with since I know I have been getting lots of exercise working on the yard.  It's supposed to rain tomorrow so I am going to make a pot of low point veggie soup for the week.  Soup is always better when its rainy.

 weigh in lost .6 pounds, not much but I'll take it.  Warm here so I've been doing lots of yard work which is a pretty good workout.  I have seen 3 snakes so far but no rattlers, thank goodness!  Not enough cold weather is going to make this a bad summer.  Have a great week!
