Yesterday went alright.

B - Slimfast

L - can of soup & added some fried sausage

D - 2 pieces of pizza and a breadstick

Went to the gym - 15 minutes elliptical (level 3), 30 minutes stationary bike.

Progress as of today: 40.8 lbs lost so far, only 53.8 lbs to go!

Yesterday went alright.

B - Slimfast

L - can of soup and 1/2 cheese sandwich

D - piece of leftover pizza, lemon yogurt

S - small piece of banana bread

Water intake was a little low (usual for weekends).  No gym last night.  I was worn out from working on the Miata - removed some extra weight (cruise control system, egr system), replaced fuel injectors with larger ones, reinstalled transmission.

I'm glad to see the 220's again, it gives me a renewed hope.

Progress as of today: 40.8 lbs lost so far, only 53.8 lbs to go!

Usually enter my day's info in the morning, but kind of bored, so thought I'd enter my Saturday info before going to bed.

Today went alright.

B - Slimfast

L - mac-n-cheese and a couple crescent rolls

D - meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans

Water intake was a little low which is usual for the weekends when I'm not sitting in front of the computer as much.  Went to the gym tonight: 15 minutes elliptical, 30 minutes stationary bike, 35 minutes treadmill (walking).  The treadmill wasn't planned, but I was watching something on tv and decided I wanted to keep watching it so just walked on the treadmill until it was over.

Non-diet: Work on the Miata went a lot better today. Installed front coilovers, front swaybar, and new control arm bushings (front).  Hoping to put the transmission back in tomorrow night.  First race is 28 days away and I'm starting to get a little nervous about getting everything completed in time.

Progress as of today: 38 lbs lost so far, only 56.6 lbs to go!

Before I forget again, I went out to Dairy Queen with the family on Thursday evening.  We haven't been in a few months and I thought I'd treat the kids.  I had a small sundae with pineapple and peanuts.  

Yesterday went alright.

B - omelet - eggs, cheese, ham, collard greens, mushrooms

L - can of soup and grilled cheese sandwich (note to self - Campbells all natural tomato basil isn't very good)

D - went out - 2 slices of pizza and 2 or 3 breadsticks

Water intake was alright.  Frustrating day of working on the Miata, part my fault, part the car's.  Took the night off from the gym. 

Progress as of today: 38 lbs lost so far, only 56.6 lbs to go!

D - fried rice w/ extra ham & egg

Water intake was ok.  Went to gym, 15 minutes on elliptical and 30 minutes on stationary bike.  I upped the level on the elliptical 2 days ago and have just barely been able to finish the 15 minutes.....hopefully it becomes easier in a week or two.

Non diet: Miata progress is slow, clutch/flywheel installed, rear coilovers installed, rear differential bushings installed.  Today hoping to get front coilovers and motor mounts changed out.

Progress as of today: 38 lbs lost so far, only 56.6 lbs to go!

S - a few animal crackers

L - ham & cheese grilled sandwich

D - sloppy joes & pasta

S - banana

Water intake was ok.  Went to the gym and did 15 minutes elliptical and 30 minutes stationary bike.  The elliptical machine was kicking my butt.  When it inclines it becomes almost like a stair stepper.  About 6 minutes in I was ready to quit, but marched on. 

Progress as of today: 38 lbs lost so far, only 56.6 lbs to go!

I know how you feel. Sometimes I get this "wall" I have to push through to keep going. I'll tell you though, for me, some days seem to be easier than others. See ya Pal.

D - salmon patties and pasta - 2 helpings

S - half stalk of celery and some peanut butter

Water intake was alright.  Went to the gym, 15 minutes on elliptical (upped level to 3) and 30 minutes stationary bike (upped average RPM's). 

Progress as of today: 38 lbs lost so far, only 56.6 lbs to go!

S - small yogurt covered pretzel

D - 2 helpings of homemade soup and a grilled cheese sandwich

S - cheese stick 

Water intake was alright.  Took the family to christian skate night (sorry Ohio, no disco music).  

Non-diet related:  Replaced flywheel, clutch, and throwout bearing on Miata.

Progress as of today: 38 lbs lost so far, only 56.6 lbs to go!

Hey, that's okay. I'm sure they had some killer Christian Rock going on. Do you know of the "Lock Downs" they have for Christian kids ? My daughter went to several. They lock them in a roller rink or gymnasium or in door soccer facility and they spend the night there. The kids really love it and the parents get the night to themselves.

I love to roller skate! Thanks for reminding me of that. I haven't roller skated since my daughter (age 22) was in elementary school. Good work!

L - went out to restaurant - large salad with lots of stuff & lots of dressing

D - chicken pot pie

S - cheese stick

Water intake was alright

This past week I've eaten out a lot more, but have done a better job of limiting my food intake and food choices while at the restaurants.  This was my second week of exercising and it's becoming easier.  The elliptical thing that I start on for 15 minutes just about killed me the first time I tried it.  Now it's getting easier so I'm thinking of either adjusting the time or intensity setting.  The 30 minutes on the stationary bike is fairly easy to complete, so I may have to look at raising the resistance a level.

Non-diet related: My brother-in-law and I finally pulled the transmission out of the Miata last night.  Now I just need to replace clutch, flywheel, seals, bearings, motor mounts, etc before reattching it.  At my slow pace (spare time) I'm hoping by next weekend we're reattaching it.

Progress as of today: 38 lbs lost so far, only 56.6 lbs to go!
