Hi lovely ladies! Hope all is well with everyone.
Got on the treadmill for 30 minutes, quads still sore from that killer spinning class.
Was a bit of a pig yesterday at dinner. Pizza night and I had two huge thick slices of cheese pizza when one would have been enough, and two pieces of bread sprinkled with parmesan, and greek salad. Glass of wine and a beer.
Breakfast today was a whole wheat English muffin with a small amount of peanut butter. Lunch was smoked turkey on wheat bread with full fat mayo as they don't have any low fat in the house. A bit of dark chocolate.
Our usual routine is my brother and his wife go somewhere overnight for their anniversary and we watch the kids - well not really kids anymore as one is nearly 18 and the other nearly 13. Tonight we take the two kids out to Mongolian BBQ and I will try hard to be good and only do one serving, but those unlimited warm tortillas are hard to resist. Will have to watch the 2 kids eat gorgeous desserts and I won't have any. Last year we did the same but I ate a giant dessert.
By the 2 week mark I'm very ready to go home to my own bedroom and kitchen and stuff in its in own spot in the bathroom. We've been here 2 1/2 weeks and go home on Tuesday on an overnight flight.

Oops, was good at Mongolian BBQ - had one serving of stir fry, 2 torilllas, a beer. However, on the way home we picked up some ice cream and I chose Ben and Jerry's Kama Sutra with vanilla, chocolate, chocolate chips and a thick caramel centre. Pure bliss!! Not stressing. 2 weeks at home at 1300 calories and I'll be where I want, I'm sure.

OMG! I just did a spinning class. My sis in law signed me up to join her in a class. Talk about burning a zillion calories! Never did it before and I did have to sit quite a few times instead of stand but still kept up very well. Wish they had this near me at home.
Big birthday party last night at restaurant....I had one of the onion rings that were appetizers, one small bit of calamari, a beer, a glass of wine. a salad with very little dressing, and main course I had salmon and spinach. The mashed potatoes are made with butter and cream so I had them leave it off. (patting self on back). However, the restaurant is known for their fabulous baked goods and I had a slice of my brother's luscious chocolate birthday cake.
So far today I've had 2 bananas, one before spinning, one after and no idea what I'm eating the rest of the day.

I ate a bit too much at dinner last night and had been feeling just a wee bit heavier in my belly. I'll still be happy if I just have 2 pounds to lose when I go home next week.

Not doing bad with food but I did have 2 glasses of wine and a beer yesterday.
Got on brother's treadmill for an hour today and feel so much better after two weeks of no exercise.
My new size 8 trousers all fit the same so I guess I'm fine.

Whew! Christmas day done. 22 people in a house is exhausting though fun. Good food.
I ate smallish portions of the very fattening stuff like the buttery mashed potatoes and stuffing. However, my niece had brought brownies with Giaridelli chocolate chips in it, my sister had made oatmeal/peanut butter/chocolate chips bars, there was vanilla ice cream, and homemade cheesecake. I skipped the cheesecake.
No workouts yet - been sick or busy or no good place to do it. At brother's for the rest of the visit, so will try to do my tae bo and jump rope in his basement. His lowest weight dumbbells are 15 pounds which is too heavy for me except for one routine.
Still size 8!

Hi ladies! Feeling a lot better but have some sniffles and dodgy throat but I'll survive. 130 pounds this morning. All the gifts are wrapped, having good grandbaby time. 22 for dinner on xmas.
Back to normal eating. Porridge for breakfast, not so normal lunch - we were at a museum and went to the Oscar Meyer cafe inside. So hot dog, chips and pepsi. Dinner was roast chicken, baked potato, salad, applesauce, grapes. 2 beers.
Busy day tomorrow so if I'm not back on I hope you all

Still drained but at least I'm not getting sick. I ate fairly well yesterday except the dinner was just too heavy on my stomach and I couldn't finish it.
Supposed to have my 16 month old granddaughter all day tomorrow and my son's family for pizza tomorrow night while my sister is elsewhere.
I know it's fluid but the scale said 128 the last two mornings and I think it weighs about 2 pounds above mine at home.
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm not making a lot of comments.

Thanks for your well wishes ladies! Managed breakfast this morning. Still have some 'issues' but much better than yesterday.
It's a stomach bug as at least two other people who were here Saturday have the same thing.

Quick note. Sick today. Either food poisoning from reheated rice yesterday or stomach bug.
I ate my usual porridge and it wasn't long after than I got sick. Had a piece of dry toast later, but both of those are umm.....gone.
I've managed sweetened tea but need to get something salty down my stomach that will stay as my electrolytes are wacko. The only bananas we have are green and just can't stomach one of those.

Greetings ladies! Big pig-out today!!
Company at my sister's house today - Mexican themed. 22 people in total. It's a very bad idea to stand next to the appetizer table (nachos, fritos, crackers, guacomole, cheesy thing, veggie & bean dip) for a long time while chatting with different people. The hand goes automatically to the table many, many, many times! And I hadn't had any lunch as the meal was at about 3pm so I was really hungry.
This was followed by quesidillas, rice, fruit, several Corona Extras, a margarita, and later quite a few homemade cookies. Oink.
I did overdo it and didn't need to be a pig as a lot of the eating was because it tasted good, not because I was hungry. Most of what I ate was foods I very rarely eat.
Other than shopping no exercise yet. People noticed my weight loss and said I looked really good.
If it's not snowy or slippery tomorrow I'm doing a power walk. I feel a strong need to get some exercise.
Tomorrow I'm being very good! I've been eating porridge every morning as usual.

Note to self: remember the joy of trying on and buying those little size 8 trousers and the joy of continuing to wear them!!!! This long-term pleasure is much better than the short-term pleasure of consuming junk food!
