Can't figure out what I ate or drank that caused this but I've got 'intestinal distress' aka 'skitters'. After dinner last night we picked up a 4 pack of beer and some Pringles. Maybe too much fat in the Pringles? I was fine at the gym this morning but after breakfast it hit me. So I'm staying in all day. Poor hubby has to eat lunch and dinner out by himself. He brought me some salted almonds when he went to lunch. And I'll have him bring me a pancake/crepe with banana and Nutella. So my electrolytes should be fine with the salt, potatssium and sugar. Not much food in the house - just breakfast stuff.
Not surprised at what the scale said this morning. Not going to stress. Much. I'm enjoying myself but my belly is growing very quickly. I can't go too far overboard though as my trousers have to be comfy when we fly home. Tight clothes on long flights is NOTpleasant!! As soon as we get home I'll be seriously on track. Sister coming end of May then we are going to the US. Then a wedding in July and I want the dress to look good.
Started packing my suitcase today and not surprisingly I've bought too many gifts. Going to be a tight fit and I hope it's not overweight. We're allowed 30kg with Emirates. 7kg for the carry on.
Then I have to pack our crates but that has to be the day before we leave - household items, tools, personal items, some of the clothes we'll only wear here, scale, whatever leftover shampoos, soaps, household stuff is left, etc etc etc. We'll be storing 2 large crates, 1 large suitcase, 2 bicycles, inflatable kayak in one of the crates, and also the paddles. Not too expensive to store here and one crate is no charge since we're booked for next winter.
Cycled to a luscious chocolate cafe. Got there at 11am so had dessert first, sat on the lovely porch and then had lunch there. Cycled to dinner. I am not behaving myself, but plan (key word!) to behave after we get back from our 3 day trip. On my birthday in two weeks I will treat myself and 3 days later we go home where I'll start counting calories again.
As usual bicycling everywhere. Probably a good thing we gave the rental car back. We get even more exercise. We've had very windy days so haven't been out in the kayak for a while. Might be able to tomorrow. Crossing my fingers the weather is good when we go on our mini-holiday next week. Maybe 3 days without cycling will help my ankle. I suspect that's why it's still sore.

D: Planning on getting another Philly cheesesteak and fries as it was sooooo good. Probably 2 beers (11 oz bottles)
S: maybe a fruit bar or an apple
Finally looked up this place that we pass all the time. For some reason I thought it was only a dance studio with an usual name. Nope. It has chocolate. Probably a good thing I didn't know this earlier. I'll be visiting, probably Saturday. Bad bad girl.
