14 mile bike ride today including a steep hill. Also walked up a very steep hill to visit a temple. All while it was sunny and hot. So I felt I deserved some rewards, but probably over-rewarded myself.

Mostly sunny today so went on a bike ride - about 8 miles.
Manager of our housing community gave out tins of biscuits (cookies) today, and of course I had some....too many.

But, hey, seems you've been able to enjoy a lot of nice food & drink while away. So, i'm sure you'll be ok & get it at least back down & continue to enjoy your time away. Weight gain is hard to accept even while on vacation i'd have a hard time seeing my weight go up & up! lol....but I have confidence in you!

Porridge is nice & filling. I tend to add banana to mine because it helps bulk it back together since I eat it at work & prefer it to sit with me.
I used to eat a lot of dried seaweed - i'd buy the sheets and snack on them. I did this years ago - probably around 2006-2008. So long ago!
Didn't get on scale. Was going to skip beer tonight even though it's a gym day, but got weak when I sat down to dinner. LOL.

Oops, scale is going in the wrong direction. Too many calories obviously. I'll need to have more 'light' days. I think I'll skip the beer on my M W gym days this week and have my beer and treat on xmas day.

Common veggies in curries and other dishes are cauliflower, green beans, broccoli, some Thai veggies, a Thai eggplant, carrots, lots of various leaves, herbs, often pineapple, cucumber on the side.

Going to have my next treat on xmas day. Since it's a Friday it will be a gym day so I'm already allowed beer/other alcohol that day. So I'll add in a dessert. No idea where we'll be eating dinner that day, but we're thinking about booking a boat and snorkeling trip that day. It's not a holiday here since it's a Buddhist country, but there are xmas trees and decorations and non-religious xmas music everywhere for all the christian tourists or expats.
