Still stuck at 250.2.  Have been eating lighter due to problems with wisdom teeth, so not sure why.  I feel skinnier at least. Today I go for a presurgery consult and then tomorrow hopefully I get them out on Friday. It is going to be expensive. I have never wanted to go to a dentist and looked forward to spending a bunch of money on it so badly in my life. Haven't been writing here because I have been out sick and not feeling well at all. I'm hoping they can do a post for my missing tooth at the same time. Will find out today.

Also, I have to finish moving out of the trailer today. I am probably ok at my curent job till January, but my food bill is so high, I need to change strategies. Looking for an Airbnb for Monday or Tuesday and I need to put my profile together.

Was not in round of layoffs yeserday. There were some surprises. People I thought were really good and I am not sure why I am still there if they aren't.

Haven't heard back on interview yet. The longer it is taking them to respond to me the more I want the job. Looking for other similar companies I can try to network my way to in case it doesn't happen.

Met a guy on Tinder I like a lot. It is a little weird because I see the person he used to be and can be again and it makes me want to develop a company that caters to his unique needs for fitness. At the same time, I feel like he'd be a great house husband... If I can ever get my sh*t together. Z is 6'5, norwegian descent, played college football. He got sidetracked in school when his brother got sick, then followed a series of women around instead of working on his own life. Now he is crashing with his mom and stepdad in their tiny apartment and working at Walgreens. At 34, he's still majorly into the comic book/fandom geek stuff and quoing lines from science fiction... which in general I find obnoxious but maybe can put up with... And if he gets healthy... And finds a job where he can support himself and live independently. He wants kids, but there is something scary about having kids with someone who can't entirely support themselves... I can be a breadwinner in theory and there is always life insurance... But if something ever happened to me, I'd worry they wouldn't make the right choices and make grown adults out of our kids. Or they would end up in foster care. Still he wants a wife and kids... so that is something. We met in person last weekend for a quick lunch and text a lot. I told him I see him as a ****able guy with a good heart, and that I like him but he is a hot mess, and I am a hot mess, so we can't both of us be a hot mess. We want to do a 1 week stretch of the Pacific Crest Trail in March as a 6 month goal to no longer be hot messes. I will work on my list later tonight.

But it makes me miss my ex like crazy. M doesn't want more kids. Can't get around that part. Or the part where he treated me casually years into the relationship... But still I miss him. He fit my mental template of "hero" the way that nobody else does. His birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks. All I can think about is calling him to wish him a happy birthday. I probably shouldn't.

Thank you to all the people commenting and getting me back to logging.  Gotta move forward!

Hang in there - feeling thinner comes first, then the results on scale. Hope your dental work goes well. Glad you still have your job! Don't question why - keep looking for another, but I hope the one you interviewed for comes through.

grannyannie on 09/30/2016:
How clothes fit is really the best judge of how much we've lost, but it's easy to be a slave to the scale - I know.

Woke up to a lovely text from my favorite recruiter that they really liked me and want to bring me back in for a second interview. Oh happy, happy, happy day. It isn't the most stable of companies but it is in an area I really like and it is a chance to get some agency experience.

Posted a bunch of stuff for sale on Offerup last night. Yay parting with crap! Putting out a plain white sheet on a chair outside yielded decent photos. Good strategy!  Might try to do the same with clothes on my old dress maker dummy.

Stressing about interview on Friday. Really want the gig, but it's a leadership role with inside sales. Not my forte.

B - Mcdonalds splurge. Egg mcmuffin, Iced coffee

L - Vitamin water, trader joes southwest salad, chicken fajita strips, cheese. Box was 2 servings. Saved other half for later.

I am proud to report though that I have a fully-packed brand new women's Osprey backpack in silver and a small 3 day cooler in my trunk ready to go for my next outdoor adventure. There are a ton of great drive-up campsites around here and all I need is a new boyfriend who wants to go with me!

hollybelle on 09/22/2016:
About the interview - you said "not my forte".....if you mean you can do this job and just don't have the experience, talk about that. Doesn't matter if you have not done the job description before so much as you are qualified to move up )(or over) to the job and just haven't been given the opportunity. Tell them you are looking for the opportunity and what skills you have that qualify you to move to it. Hope that helps. If you want that job - best of luck to you. You wouldn't have gotten an interview if they weren't interested in you. You can do it - go in strong!

Horn_of_plenty on 09/22/2016:
I do agree with Holly's suggestions above :)

Good luck on your interview & I hope you get a good profit on all your sales (sheets and all your home goods up for sale).

Woke up late this morning... like I was drugged, lol. Feeling a ton better. missed 8am call, stumbled to shower. Not going to miss the trailer... I gave notice this month and I am cleaning it out. All that is left is cleaning supplies, food, bedding, and toiletries. Food and toiletries go down this week and then bedding and cleaning supplies will be the last thing I take as I give the place a scrub.

A little nervous to be giving it up, but I need a place that is dog-friendly and allows guests. Had to do two hotel stays last month to get homework done and the challenges of just doing daily things are too much... I can't cook there,

Yesterday, I did errands after work and fell asleep right after dinner so today I need to work late and finish it off. Will do errands on my lunch hour...

B - 2 bon bons, diet coke, frozen burrito, guac

S1 - Iced coffee with half and half. 1/2 a brownie.

L - Dropped of prescriptions and grabbed lunch at Wendy's. Grilled chicken sandwich. Small side of chilli with cheese and seasoning. Vitamin water.

S2 -

D -  kale salad, chicken masala frozen dinner. Not awful, but not getting it again.

Worked late and discovered design flaws in the new feature. No wonder company is going under. Ugh. Was texting J, a guy I met off Tinder. He said something rude and I deleted his number and texts. Z, also off Tinder, is nice... Even if he is still pulling his life together at 34 with no real skills. I'm 38 and doing the same.

Progress as of today: 57.8 lbs lost so far, only 70.2 lbs to go!

Horn_Of_Plenty on 09/20/2016:
Hi Happy! So happy to see you back!

I actually do wake up a lil drugged sometimes...from leftover remnants of a sleeping pill haha.

are you going to live back with your family? what is your decision on where you will live after you return your trailer?

have a good rest of your day!

tasty eats...those burritos are nice with fiber if they have beans!

happy-1 on 09/20/2016:
They do have beans. Pretty decent nutrition... I couldn't take the jimmy dean muffins anymore, but those had more protein.

I am just so frustrated... Nothing is making it any easier to reach my goals... I've tried just about everything. The trailer is actually crazy expensive because there's no way to cook without attracting pests and everything goes bad so fast. Between utilities and my takeout bill, I can pay the same amount for a vacation rental on Airbnb, Overnight, or even Hotwire, so my plan is to just look for a place next week and move over there for a week.

I figure my company will go under in the next month or two so I don't want to get involved with a lease or roommates. But I need out of that trailer/junk pile/fire hazard and there will never be a perfect exit strategy if I wait.

happy-1 on 09/20/2016:
I just have so much residual stress every day trying to pull myself together in two hoarder households... It affects my reliability for my current work... even if they are going under. The trailer is the thing in my life that I can change right now, so I am changing it even if it isn't the perfect change.

grannyannie on 09/20/2016:
Welcome back

happy-1 on 09/20/2016:
Thank you!

hollybelle on 09/21/2016:

happy-1 on 09/21/2016:

Horn_Of_Plenty on 09/21/2016:
Your company is going under!? Mine is struggling but will probably survive strong in the end...

You sound to be making good decisions regarding the trailer. You will save lots of $ not paying the rent anymore.

happy-1 on 09/21/2016:
I'm glad you are a fighter! Companies are the people that work there and keep pushing.

I think the company will go under largely because there are a bunch of jerks who take paychecks and don't do any work because they think the company is going under. Self fulfilling prophecy.

Horn_Of_Plenty on 09/21/2016:
Yes Happy I get you...this company is HUGE...i feel there are good people here. Not everyone can just get up & leave and get new jobs...not easy to EVERYONE to do. And many are old so they retired. ...

but we have a lot of brainpower here. i see it going ok at least for the time i plan to stay here (until next summer). Then I am entering the NYPD!
