I got in 2 miles today with WATP for Abs so 30 minutes...

B-egg sandwich 230

I have been having an extremely stress filled and busy couple of weeks...I know I have not been on regularly, but I do think of everyone on here. My dh came home this weekend from his training exercise in CA, so last week was making sure that I had all my "ducks" in a row, lol...and well, this week started off horribly. Yesterday I had a fight with my younger daughters school/teacher, then when I picked up my older daughter from school for an orthodontist appt, I dropped my phone, of course I didn't realize it right off, but that is my only phone-we don't have a house phone so I was freaking out in case my younger daughter's school called or my mom, etc. Well I called her school and they told me that "they didn't have time to go look in front of the school" for it. Well on my way to the school to see if I could find it, I ended up rear-ending a car in front of me. So then I had to call the insurance, fill out a police report and deal with all of that, then go and find out the school didn't find the phone (well of course not...it was laying out in the parking lot for 2 hrs by this point) and then go and deal with getting a new phone...of course since we are 3 weeks away from eligibility for an upgrade, they won't honor that...I was at the phone store for 2 1/2 hrs dealing with that to come home and make dinner & do homework and file my cell phone insurance claim. Needless to say it was very good to end the day. Yes, today was better and I did handle my stress with out over eating yesterday, but I think that is only because I missed lunch because my accident. All I have to say is that I am happy no one was hurt and that the day ended without any more incidents.

Progress as of today: 16.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

My heart just goes out to you while reading-in detail-what happened to you yesterday....I know you sent me a txt telling me what had went on but jeesh....You poor thing....You need a break....I'm SOOOOO proud of you for doing such an awesome job coping with yesterday's stressful events...You handled it much better than I would have....I love ya and hope you have a good night....PS thanks for posting~I always MISS your entries:)

Sorry to hear of your accident..... This may sound funny, but have you called your phone to see if anyone answers?

I dropped my cell in the toilet one night..I had set the alarm on it when hubby left way early one morning and had it in my hand as I was putting the cover down... Slip....Plop!.... It died, but after 4 days it was like new again.... I was ofrtunate, then to have dropped it a week later to it's death for sure.... I was 2 months from upgrade and had to pay $65 for a replacement (beginner phone)..... I am hanging onto in the event another accident (forbid that) happens...

Kudos for staying away from the cookie jar (so to speak).... PROUD OF YOU and YOUR DEDICATION TO "YOU".

Got another 2 miles in-so really under my exercise goal for this week, but since I have been so busy, I guess its ok...just wanted to get 3 hrs in for the week and only got 1 hr & 20 min...about half, but its ok, I have something to work for next week

Wow! I just finished watching BL from yesterday and I am fabergasted...that is all I will say because I know mama_nurse hasn't watched it yet. I also watched Diet Tribe from Monday and I am sorry to see that one end...but I am excited about next week's BL being the 100th episode!

I walked my 2 mile today...was going to try to do another mile, but time got away from me again today. Had a half day at work today, so I was able to do some of my chores earlier, but I guess I had too much on my list to do today, because I am still behind, lol

Well, I think I did pretty well today calorie wise, but didn't get all my other stuff in...oh well, I guess it is all a learning process.

S-protein drink (50)

B/L-IHOP 2x2x2 breakfast (2 eggs, 1c hashbrowns, 2 sausage & 2 pancakes-1094) WOW! and this is one meal! glad i didn't want lunch today!

D-5 oz chicken breast (150), 1 c green beans (40), 1 c bowties with lite butter (275)

S-something for about 60 cal

Total-1669

I have some friends that they have been trying to go out to lunch 1x a week so that we get to have adult time together...it has been good since all of us have husbands that are not home because of the army...but it is a killer on the calorie counting when I go...lol..but the good thing is that I am learning what to eat and not eat and it makes me feel good even having a meal like today because of 2 reasons. 1) I chose better than I would have before-so altho it was pretty hi, it is not as bad as it could be. 2) I know that I can go out to eat and have a reasonable meal, so I don't feel deprived from food/company/ability to go out and my whole eating pattern is not thrown into a tail spin. I think that I am doing ok with everything because I am making sure that I can substitute a lighter meal into my day somewhere or combine breakfast & lunch without HAVING to have 3 meals. Its not an everyday situation, but it is something that I can handle, even 1x a week. That is good to know.

Aww yeah dates are the best, I hope you have lots of together time when hubby comes home! Good job today with the calories! I do the same thing when I go out. I usually combine the meal if I know it's going to be a big calorie spending one. We just went to Ihop this past Sunday and will probably go again this coming Sunday as well ((we are going home to visit our families and it's our tradition to go out to brunch with hubby's grandparents every Sunday before we hit the road to come back to our house =) )) I'm more of a pancake girl so I love their healthy section of the menu. I always get the Harvest Grain pancakes and they are only 580cal and come with sliced banana on top and blueberries inside. lol. But that's just me. Sorry I think about food a lot and I'm making myself hungry =P lol Anyway, hope you have a nice Wednesday! Friday is within our grasps! =D

Yes, sorry about the  MIA...have been sooo busy...basically only sleeping at our house for the past week. I have been recording my food intake in my paper journal, just haven't been able to get online to update here.

Ok, so I wasnt' able to exercise much last week and having to get back into the routine this week...my knee feels better, so hopefully I am past that injury. I have not been able to track this weekend due to going out to a party and not even knowing what it was I had (lol) until today, but tried to keep a control on it. One thing I know tho is that obviously my body likes what I have done with the eating changes...because after bad eating on Friday and Saturday, not only did I feel so sick, I also needed Tums. So that is a mixed thing. Good that I have changed my eating habits so that my body wasn't able to cope with it the usual way, but bad that obviously I haven't learned enough to STOP eating to where I need Tums. UGH! I felt so bad. So today I purposely planned to eat signifcantly lower calories to try to offset a little of what I ate over the weekend since my weigh in on Friday (which was down 5 lbs!!) I have been doing high and low calorie days, just trying to average out to my goal calories by the end of my week (Thursdays). I think it has been working, altho I will have a hard time doing that this weel.

Anyway, here was my menu for today (and it felt great to just eat "normal" again!):

B-Fiber One bar and a WW cheese stick (190)

L-2 c veggie soup (150) & a tomillo (60)

S-2 c of popcorn (60)

D-3 oz pork chop, 1 c rice a roni & 1 c of broccoli & cheese(600)

Total 1060 for today

Glad to see you back! We missed you!! Thanks for the comment! =D. Sounds like you had a great day yesterday! 5 pounds gone WOOHOOOOOO!!!! Mmmm broccoli and cheese is one of my favorites so reading that made me want some! I can relate to you with how the changes in eating have affected how you feel when you do eat a lot of junky foods. I used to be able to eat cake all the time and the icing was my fav...now I can only eat one slice and the icing is wayyyy to sweet and if I eat too much of it the light goes off in my head and says "Whoa too much sweet!" It is a good thing since you feeling sick this weekend meant that your body IS getting used to the healthy foods. I think foods like that are ok in moderation. Sounds like you just had a busy week and took some comfort in the foods...sorry you didn't feel well afterwards! Anywho, good to have you back, and hope to see you later, even if you just pop in and post HELLOOOO in really large text! =D hahaha *hugs**have a great day!

Hi, hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was super busy and I still have so much I didn't get done over the weekend! I need to clean my house so bad! It seems like as soon as I get one area clean the way I like it, the kids have already messed up behind me!!

Anyway, I was finally able to get out of bed this morning without pain in my knee, so I decided to see how a 1 mile WATP would go..and so far so good! I will have to see how it is feeling later this afternoon to see what I should do for tomorrow.

Here is my projected menu for today...

B-K2O (30), egg sandwich (250) total 280

S-K2O (50), yogurt (100) total 150

L-Turkey wrap (225), yellow bell pepper (62), 1 c veggie soup (75). 1 c carrots (70), cucumber (45) total  477

S-granny smith apple (80), 2 wedges laughing cow cheese (70) total 150

D-I think we are having pork chops grilled outside today and some rice and green beans....but I will update that later to make sure, lol.

Just stopping by to say hi before my day starts...it is a crazy day today, but I will move forward...I have church and religious education this morning and then I told my kids we would go see "Hotel for Dogs" I sure hope it is worth the money for the tickets...lol...I hate spending the money on the tickets for ho-hum movies...I would rather wait, but the kids need extra diversion this week-we are about at the half way mark of hubby being gone and I see them struggling. Good afternoon!

Yesterday at work, my knee was hurting so bad I could hardly walk..by the end of the day I think it was slightly swollen and I can't even bend it. I took some ibu and it helps a little, but def not doing any exercise today...can't risk a big injury. But it really puts a cramp in my exercise goals for this week! ARGGGH!

The scale said I was even, but after about an hour later and a couple more weigh in's to see what the most common number that came up, I am putting down .5 Not sure why but I can think of a couple of reasons:1) 8 lbs in 2 weeks is a lot, so my body needs a little breadk-hopefully only a LITTLE one, lol 2) my monthly friend is due sometime in the next week, so I could be retaining water-that is normal for me or 3)when I averaged my calories for the week (add all the days & divide by 7) I came up with1529, which is about 200 cal less a day that I was supposed to have. But whatever is, is...I will see how it goes next Friday, because I know I was doing all the right stuff, except the calorie count being under. I have 2-3 dairy everyday, 1-2 fruits, 5+ veggies, 48+ oz water & plenty of protein.

I am low on water today-only 28 oz, so I have a lot of making up to do today. I was super busy at work, so I didn't really think about drinking (or really eating). I didn't get my morning snack until noon, lol and lunch was at 2. I did my afternoon snack at 4, and dinner will be when we get home from cheer/tumbling, around 7.

RE:Carrots in Oatmeal Cake ~ Oh yes, I figure at my dad's first bite, he will see what I did and flash a grin at me....I'm not a real stickler on recipes and have to be creative @ times.... As for resisting while in the kitchen...Actually isn't all that hard for me, cause I KNOW what is in what I make..... Butter, Sugar, Flour, etc. being the HIGH up end of uh uh's for me.... Now, if it is already prepared and I don't know exactly whats in foods others fix..Thats trouble.. If that makes any sense?!?!?!?!? I did save out some beans for us to have for our supper tonight and won't hesitate to eat any of the taco soup tomorrow... It's all good!.....

Proud of you for not being discouraged @ the number on the scale.... That is so hard to do sometimes, but as long as you know you are doing the right things and willing to change those you know may be causing the slow downward turn of the needle... You will do just fine!

PMS?!?!?!?!?!?!?! STINKS! 2 days a month I could eat and eat and eat and eat and eat.... In the beginning I once said when I talked OUT LOUD to myself, that one of these days our cockatiel was going to be shouting "You don't NEED that Jerri!"It helps when you KNOW what is causing the cravings and sometimes our bodies just need something we no longer give it... Dark Chocolate is healthy for your heart! {*;*} It helps to know that only a couple days really isn't all that long... Not while your going through it, but when you look back.......

Sorry to hear about your knee! I can totally relate to your busy day at work and having to push back all your snacks/meals until later...that's happened to me EVERY day this week! Don't worry about the scale, like you said it's probably because of TOM and the big loss you had before. I'm sure you will see a nice number next weigh in! Don't get discouraged, you are doing great! Well, last Friday I set a goal for 2 1/2 hrs of exercise over the course of the week and today I finished it, so that makes me feel accomplished, because I DID NOT feel like getting up this morning to do it. I did my 2mile WATP for abs this morning for 30 minutes

Here is my menu for the first part of the day...not sure what is going to happen for dinner yet today.

B-egg sandwich-(235)-1/4 egg whites, 1 whole wheat english muffin, 1 slice WW cheese and 1 slice centercut bacon

S-Activa vanilla yogurt (70), K2O (50)-Total 120

L-Turkey wrap (210)-wrap, 2 oz turkey, 1 slice swiss cheese and 1 slice center cut bacon; 1 cup veggie soup (75), 1 orange bell pepper (31), 1 c baby carrots (70), 4 stalks celery (36)-Total 422

S-granny smith apple (80),2 laughing cow cheese wedges (70) Total 150

D-7 oz steak (370), 1 baked potato with 1 Tbs sour cream (145), 1 c broccoli w/2Tbs cheese (116) total 631
