Calories managed to be very low yesterday.  Good thing - was due a low day.  Since I went to the comedy show I didn't eat dinner until very late. And I didn't get to exercise.  The show was very good.  It was hectic since it began pouring rain when it was time to leave and made it hard to get parked and get in the building.  Since i had all the tickets was hectic and we all didn't get to sit together.  All the ladies I was with stayed the whole time and seemed to really like it.  The others left at intermission, it turned out.  I guess they didn't like it.  They said it went longer than they were willing to stay.  It was Long - over three hours - but there was a singer and they did an appeal for Compassion International - a VERY good cause - if you don't now about it - check it out on line.  I didn't mind that it was long, and evidently neither did the women who sat with me, 

Anyway - FRIDAY!  Hopefully will get some bike rides in this weekend.  Weather is going to cool off.  We have had unseasonable warm weather this week - how crazy is that - in the 80s - went from the 40s to the 80s.  The weekend is predicted in mid 50s and 60s so should be oK to ride!! 

B:  Coffee, biscuit w jam, bicuit with sauage pattie  450

L:   3 taco frescos diet coke (only one of the week) 450

S:  a few peanuts and pretzel squares

D:  cereal with 1/2 banana w FF half & half 350

S:  chocolate chips and coconut for dessert  200

Check it out - yesterday I kept calories under 1500 AND I went for a long walk.  

Today I forgot to eat breakfast at my house - ???  Yup......so ate some stuff I keep at work....

B:  Iced Vanilla Coffee, peanuts and an orange 300

L:  1/2 turkey & Cheese sandwich, grapes and turnips 400

S:  Chocolate Chips 200

D:  two Waffles with jam 250

1150 Calories

Going to a comedy show at a neighboring church with about 15 ladies tonight.  Should be fun.

It really did - Chondra Pierce - with Jeff Moore for music and support for Compassion International. Not everyone's cup of tea - I gathered from the review by the ladies in our group - but most of us thought it was an uplifting experience. She has a very true message and delivered it in a very unvarnished manner with a whole bunch of humor!

Pretty much stuck to around 1500 calories yesterday even tho ate the wonderful dessert at association luncheon. Better sleep last night and  looking forward to going in to the office to clean up.  I have been working on a couple of projects the last week and have just been throwing paper everywhere!  So will organize and clean up and then enjoy the illusion that I am in better control lol!!

B:  Special K Vanilla and Almond cereal and 1/2 banana, coffee 350

S:  Banana 100

L:  2 thin slices of cheese, 2 oz turkey and a bunch of seedless red grapes, aloe juice and water 250

S;  1/8 C dry roasted peanuts, 15 pretzels   150

D:  1/2 turkey and cheese sandwich on healthy bread, grapes and 1/8 C choc chips  400

S:  Granola bar and 1.5 turnips - I know it sounds weird, but I hadn't had vegetables and I love turnips so I cooked them. 

1450 Calories AND - WALK - 1.25 hours - probably 3 miles with husband, dogs and neighbor.

Progress as of today: 13.6 lbs lost so far, only 14.4 lbs to go!

Stayed on calorie goal yesterday.  No exercise, though.  Worked late and was tired.  Had trouble with laptop - which I need for a work presentation today or I would have at least gone for a walk - got laptop working again. amyway.  Have professional organization luncheon today.  Food is good and they always have dessert - sometimes I don't like the dessert, though.I always hope it's something I don't like!  The rest of the food is usually pretty healthy - lean meat amd vegetables, etc. 

B:  Sausage and biscuit, coffee  325

L:  Small salad, baked chicken beast, a tiny but black bean and corn salsa, Tiramisu  450-500

D:  sausage biscuit and granola bar

S:  two oranges  150

I will try to make this the end of the food today  Right now not hungry at all.. I couldn't resist the dessert at the luncheon - my very favorite.  But the vegetables were inedible.  Too much garlic and not in a good way!  So missed the vegetables today - I may come up with some ths evening....maybe some left over brussel sprouts.....so I'll add those in perhaps.

Headache and earache.  Probaby allergy

Was Tiramisu - my favorite - they haven't had that before.....but was a small triangle of it so could have been worse. Sigh.....at least I won't go foraging because I feel unsatisfied....or deprived!

Good job staying on track with calories! Sometimes I find that hardest on the days I DON'T exercise!!! Here is hoping for a crappy dessert, lol!

Isn't that just ridiculous? Was so beat all day. Not really bad because I was pumped up on adrenalin due to work stress, but once I came home I crashed and slept 'til - you guessed it 4:30 again, but was able to go back to sleep til 6:30 which is a good time to get up. I had been doing better. Will start with the alteril again tonight.

Yesterday was the first day in a month I just totally ate whatever I wanted to no counting no nothing!  But it's over and I am back on track now.  Taking leftovers for lunch and will probably have the same for dinner or a smoothie - depending on how I feel.  Not going to worry about it at all.  Just one day at a time.  Someone brought a hugh basket of left over Reece's peanut butter easter eggs to work - like about 2 dozen or more of them!  I will resist!!!!!  That was terribly inconsiderate of my eating plan, wasn't it!  A lot of nerve! LOL!

B:  Sausage and Biscuit - homemade and coffee 325

L:  small servings of chicken, brussell sprouts, dressing and slaw 375 maybe

S:  strawberries 85

D:  2 C spaghetti and meat sauce-it's almost gone!  400

1185 calories - plus two oranges = 150 = 1385  GOOD

I managed to resist Recee's EGGS!!!  The person who brought them said there were 36 when she brought them this A.M. and when I left - had to walk right by the basket - there were 4!  We have about 12-13 people in our office!  Yay!

You might be surprised to find you lost weight after yesterday. I've found when I'm low cal for weeks and then eat a lot that I lose.

Sometimes you need a day like that for your mental well being... The trick for me is limiting it to one day and getting right back on track... That is a challenge!!

Oh my Reeses PB cups... They are pure evil deliciousness... I would be SO mad at my hubby if he brought them into the house, lol!! And I would probably be in a sugar/fat coma right now from eating 5 of them... hahah... Good luck!!

Did ok yesterday with food and exercise.  Today - not so much.  Had a big breakfasst and planning a big dinner with dessert for us and daughter and son in law. Including cupcakes for dessert!  This will encourage me to do well the rest of the week, though, and I will off set it with exercise today......bike ride and weights again.  

B:  Two pieces of cinn raisin toast, 1 egg, 2 sausage patties, 1/2 grapefruit, coffee

L:   "Sample" blackberry-filled  cupcake with coconut icing

D:  Roasted Chicken, dressing, home-made slaw, brussel sprouts, Cupcakessssssssssssssssssss

Yesterday was kind of a high calorie day - but that's OK I am not going to stick around the 1200-1500 all the time.  Too restrictive.  It needs to all balance out.

Today is going to be a pretty day.  I want to ride the bike and work in the yard.

L:  Spaghetti and meat sauce about 2 cups total. 

S:  Chocolate chips and pita chips - can you say munchies??

Rode the bike only 12 miles.  Very nice weather but cross winds were powerful.  Didn't want to ride too long as I'd like to ride again tomorrow - longer and I didn't want to deplete my muscles today.  Still don't have any recovery drink..Plus I did a 12 minute workout with kettlebell.  I guess 12 is my lucky number today.  12 miles and 12 minutes!! 

D:  Spaghetti and meat sauce less than 2 Cups - probably about 1 Cup - too lazy to order in or make anything else.  

S:  Smoothie.

Calories were about 1315 yesterday.  Had a short walk - still taking it easy on my foot ( heel pain / plantar fascitis ).  So far so good.  I have to really be conscience of it and take tylenol every day.

B:  1/2 bagel wth cream cheese and coffee  350

L:  Pork rib and potato (small serving provied by my co worker - delicious) slaw 400?

S:  skinny pop popcorn 200

D:  Mexican food - chips and salsa - medium amount.....20 chips -1/2 chicken qusedilla, 1 beer, two bite-sized pastries with cream cheese centers - probably 150 calories in those....Not sure of the calories in the dinner.  The quesadilla was not greasy or really cheesy - tasty but not very well grilled as I like them.so that could have been a good thing, If I count it as 800 that gives me 1750 for the day - maybe he high may be about right??

Didn't get to ride yesterday - was too cold - wind was brutal .It would have been perfect opportunity, too as we didn't have church group last night.  This is the oddest Spring we have had - so cold.

Ate OK last night probably around 1700 calories.  I went for a short walk.   

B:  2 LF WW waffles and jam, coffee 315

S:  1/8 cup dry roasted peanuts - 60

L:  Lean Cuisine Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes 240

S:  1/8 C dry roasted peanuts and 20 pretzels 200

D:  Leftover meatloaf and mashed potatoes a few carrots and 2 brussel sprouts 350

S:  Granola bar 140

1315 calories  -  good

Short walk - still taking it easy on my foot - so far so good

The last time I worked in the yard was Saturday. I COULD have ridden bike Saturday, but silly me, was thinking I'd get house work done and save the bike for the week! Hang in there - (at least here) we will probably be complaining about how hot it is before too long!

I rode Tuesday night in a sleeveless racer back shirt and last night in my good neoprene jacket and long pants! I left after lunch and drove 5 hours north to Shreveport with my parents and temps dropped from 70 to 49! I didn't bring a jacket... Stay on track and have a lovely evening. I've got my ipAd, but don't know where I will have free wifi so I don't know if I'll get to post again.

More later, peeps - bike ride tonight - it's gonna be 50 degrees!  I can do it!  Going for 15 miles, minimum.

S:  a few pretzels and a piece of string cheese 200

D:  Meatloaf and mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, a ew baby carrots and a piece of cornbread with honey 650??700???

1450 for the day - great!

BUT - $$#!++ I didn't get to ride - what was I thinking - it was just too cold.  Did my ab work and walked a tiny bit - it HAS to warm up sometime soon!!

My niece is at OKC for theater. She graduates in May and this is her senior recital. My parents got sick last year before her junior recital so I am driving them this year because they are too unpredictable to buy airline tickets for them! I have never been to Oklahoma.
