So far today:

Kind Bar 140, Tea 0

1/2 C 2% Cottage, 1/4 C Maple Yogurt, 3 natural peach halves

I will have 4 crackers and 1 T peanut butter before I leave work   - about 160 cals

Sub total = 520

Husband comes home tonight - will probably go out to eat - so plenty of room for dinner 680 calories to Go for the DAY!

Didn't go out to eat - had a few bites of corn, a tiny piece of grilled chicken and some cereal with yogurt.    Probably right at my calorie goal for the day....

Also - walked 2.5 miles!

6' Penn Station sub - nothing else - this has 650 calories!

1/2 C cottage cheese 2 peach halves 100

1/2 grilled cheese 200

Still have 100 calories to go for today

I am going to start to EASE into counting calories again - MUST increase my activity level - just so tired at night!

UPDATE:  6 crackers and 1T peanut butter  1/2 c 2% milk- a bit over my 100 calories left for the day = but still in a good range

Today so far - banana,  tea, kind bar, 6 yogurt pretzels and some nuts, baked potato with T butter T sour cream, more nuts, for dinner probably chili and 1/2 grilled cheese again - NO Reese's Cups!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

No Reese's Cups and chili and 1/2 grilled cheese for dinner.

Finished up the day with a smoothie made with 1/2 banana, 1/4 c plain greek yogurt, 1/2 cup of 2% milk, 5 frozen strawberries.

Today was good - Banana, Tea, a few Nuts and 4-5 Yogurt Pretzels, 6 Crackers and 1T Peanut Butter, chili and 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich

Husband is out of town until Thursday evening - Madison  Wisconsin. 

I am about over work altogether.  I like the pay, but it's very depressing to be there now.  I am just going to bide my time and see what happens for a couple more weeks.  I haven't heard from the job opening I am very interested in.  I have to say I am rather surprised.  But just want God to be happy with how I live my life and II will trust He has it in control and will lead. It's hard to know how much to do toward the effort of changing jobs or working part time or stopping work altogether right now.  Where do I end and He begin - I'm praying about it.

I eat a lot of bananas. They are very good for you!

Try to not think about work outside of work if you can. also, for women, our emotions are always getting the best of us. Try to go into work, do the work, and focus less on the depressing part. Money is important....

Good advice HOP - very grounded! I am more grounded than I may sound about it - I am just wondering more than worrying! I have been working 45 years - I can't imagine not having at least a PT job making a little bit of dough!

Well, I am starting the week of right with good food and exercise today so far:

2 cups of coffee, bacon and 2 eggs and one small pancake with maple syrup

lunch will be greens and cornbread and tonight we are grilling on our new grill (bought at the end of the season last year when our old 10-12 year old grill bit the dust) for a song......can't wait.

We walked almost 3 miles. with the dogs.

You know I cook southern country. These were collard greens. I usually cook Kale greens, but the little grocery I went to didn't have any kale so collards it is. They are one of specialties and everyone says they are the best they ever had. If I do say so. I have a few tricks that keep them a little lower in fat than the traditional way, but I love greens. I think I am a little obsessed with greens sometimes!

Kept baby girl last night until 8:30 then drove her home.  She was so sweet.  Daughter is sick again - lost her voice - not working.  She has a photo session for ads for her gym tomorrow.  We played puzzles, playdoh and stickers along with singing and dancing.  Fun.

I have eaten too much this week.  I have exercised too little.  I will be back on track this weekend and the coming week.  

Made chili to send with husband to his parents house.  Made cornbread.  I have eaten a big bowl of chili today and two pieces of cornbread.  Some tea.  Very full now.   House cleaning on hand and finishing up the taxes!

I haven't been absent on purpose or because I haven't been doing well. I have been busier this week.  I have not done as well this week with food and exercise as I have been but not terrible, either!  Back on track!  Baby girl is coming over tomorrow night.  Friday nights are hard to babysit because I am usually so tired, but I am looking forward to seeing her.  Haven't seen her all week.  

Have to work on taxes and finish them up this weekend.  Husband is going out of town to see his parents Saturday.  He's leaving for business trip 4 days on Monday.

You can do it. On my end, I'm done for awhile with my really low cal days. I'm going to try really, really hard to maintain my weight...Exercise certainly helps. Whereas you will be continuing to do it, and that's the key to lose weight better, i'm nervous about that one thing. I'm not going to be exercising right now (really sore from dancing at wedding and wearing heels), so I hope the lack of intense weight lifting 3x a week doesn't cause a weight problem - I don't think it will, since i'm only resting around 1 month. lol.

OK - I have overeaten today and a bit yesterday, too.

Today - cereal, 1/2 banana and tea

two pieces of raisin toast

bowl of greens with ham, 2-3 chicken livers left over from last night

1 Reese's PB cup - darn husband for buying those things - there are 4 - 4 packs left   in the frig!!!!

apple with PB

10 potato crowns,1/2 grilled cheese on sourdough

Whew - that is a lot of food!   Exercise yesterday was helping my friend dog-proof her fence - her new dog climbs the fence and gets out!  We got it half done.  Her other friend helped, too - he did all the drilling to install the L brackets we needed.  

Today exercise was lots of housework that was behind due to helping friend yesterday.  I cleaned 3 bathrooms, did 6 loads of laundry, changed the bed sheets, dusted everything upstairs - 4 bedrooms and the hall landing - all the lampshades, window frames and baseboards.  I cleaned the kitchen and family room yesterday morning.  

This week we must finalize taxes - sadly we must pay more than anticipated.  Must increase deductions so this doesn't happen next year.  We don't understand why it came out this way - our income isn't much different than the last two years.  This is one big reason I can't leave my job right now.  

Onward and upward everyone.

I am doing OK.  Food was good yesterday. I had one reese's PB cup-husband bought over a dozen of them and put them in the 'frige  That is the only one I've had since he bought them.  We had baby girl in the evening - until 10:30 and she was still awake!  Her little legs are breaking out again behind the knees.  I don't understand because she has been on gluten-free, dairy free menu for months now - why does she break out all of a sudden?  Anyway - some exercise - took her to the park and we ran and swung and did slides.  

So far today -  Grapefruit, cereal with 1/2 banana, tea

1/2 grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough bread

apple and PB

Beets, they were absolutely delicious!  Better than I make - we went out to eat, fried chicken livers - there was a whole plate full but I could only eat 3 after eating the beets.  I love beets!  Fresh ones - not canned and not pickled!
