Hi guys very busy day today so just not gettin to post.  Yesterday isn't updated, but was around 1500 calories and no real exercise. 

Today I did 1 hour Turbo Kick class.  Menu so far:

B:  Boiled egg, coffee  140

L:  Fajita meat, 15 chips and salsa, 1 T guacamole 2 T beans, little bit of cheese  400


Progress as of today: 13.6 lbs lost so far, only 14.4 lbs to go!

1400 calories yesterday.  Had two brownies in the middle of the night for 220 calories.  I don't think I had enough protein yesterday whcih made me more vulnerable to junk.....will eat more protein today.  I did 1 hour of Turbo Kick-woo-hoo!.

I am very sad -there have been two accidents this week which have affected two people I know.  First my friend's 25-ish year old son was hit by a tractor trailer  on his way to a history event and has a traumatic brain injury..  He is unconscience in critical condition.  Then I just heard a woman in my networking group's husband had a bicycle accident and died.  People, we never know what a day will bring forth - love generously. 

More about menus etc. later!  

I thought we might have heard about KathyBlue by now.  I hope man will reliable to do what she asked - update us!!!  

B:  Iced Coffee  100

L:  2/3 Lunch portion Salad from Johnny Carinos One slice bread with butter 550

S:  Fiber One Bar 90

As for Kat, I have all my email accounts open and am keeping my fingers crossed that he'll send me a message any minute now. They are 5 hours ahead of us, so I dont understand the delay. :(

Life is precious holly, love them while we have them is my policy. I think that is why I have afternoon tea with my three big grandchildren, it will be something that they remember and feel love for when I am gone. Not that I am planning on going, but you never know. Love you Holly:)

Yesterday was 1110 calories (very low) and healthy foods.  I didn't do any real exercise - but was on my feet quite a bit cooking, doing laundry and shopping at the produce stand.  As I posted yesterday the Scuppernong grapes are available and I always eat my share of those!  MARIA - I know you love them too.  I always think of you when I get them!

Anyway - I know KathyBlue is on all our minds and we are waiting to hear that she is recovering and doing well after her surgery later today/this evening (depending on what time zone we are in!  XOXOXO to Kat!

I am planning to do Turbo Kick tonight at 6:15 if we don't go to the Jazz Concert.  It is awful hot, but there is a good band playing tonight and we didn't go the last two Tuesdays.  If we go to concert I'll do Turbo on Wed OR Thurs and Sat this week.  I have been trying to do 2 times a week plus other exercise.  

I completed my push up challenge yesterday and tried to do it today - but I couldn't do day 2's prescribed #, so I just stayed on day 1's again - it's all about progress and I'll make mine as I can!  So there!  :o)  Not giving up!

B:   Iced coffee, 1 piece Dakota bread toast with jam and a boileld egg  290

Lunch will be with a friend at good vegeteable restaurant.  Yum - looking forward to good vegetables!  Will attempt to keep the cornbread to a minimum! 

L:  Slaw, corn on the cob no butter, green beans, 1 corn bread stick  with 1teaspoon butter!  450

S:  One small caramel  40

Subtotal:  780

D:  BLT and peaches  400

S:  2 small Mocha Brownies 220 

total calories 1400 Exercise= 1 hour Turbo Kick

Thanks so much for the wallpaper advice! I didn't know about the fabric softener, I'll pick some up to see if I can speed up the job. There's a definite learning curve to it and I got better as the day progress. I was over-scoring to start out, won't make that mistake again. I just want you to know that your talk of projects has been a real motivator for me! :)

OK todays another day - I am on my game and not taking any excuses from myself.  Healthy eating, period this week!

On an odd note - yesterday I posted husband and I along with dogs walked 3+ miles.  We walked in a city park on a paved trail and it was a great welk.  We walked the path twice.  Husband kept saying he thought it was longer and the time would indicate that, but I didn't think it was all that much longer, but couldn't account for the time we spent.  The sign at the park said it was 1.5 mile trail.  BUT, not being one to let these things go husband looked up the distance in the City Parks and Recreation Guide oon the bookshelf and the path is actually 2.5 miles so we walked 5 miles!  It turns out that there are TWO cmbined trails (although they are seemless) one is 1.5 and the other is 1.0 miles...  So - Woo-hoo for us!

B:  Iced coffee, 75

L:  Apple and PNB, Granola bar 345

S:  Fiber Bar 90

Subtotal 510 - very good.....:o)

D:  Homemade pizza with gr turkey, cheese and tiny pepperoni pieces, onions and peppers   Not too bad  -  first time I've even made pizza - used a frozen dough ball and it was great! 3 medium size square pieces  =  maybe 400???

Later:  grapes - lots of the scuppernong grapes that are only available from one produce stand this time of year.  200

1110 calories - no exercise today resting body for Turbo tomorrow evening!

Awesome job on the walking! I hope Elle's UTI clears up and it's not something more serious.

I didn't know you were an expert wallpaper removerer ;) I'll be asking for advice as I move forward! This house is mostly wallpapered and it appears they used 2 different types of glue. The 1/2 bath and upstairs hallway paper just peeled right off with very little scraping required. But the rest of the house is being resistant. I've only tried water and a scraper so far, but I think I may have to move to a steamer or chemicals to get the rest of. Ugh. All suggestions are welcome!

Hiya Holly,rather suprised at myself yesterday for being in control,ALTHOUGH today could of been better.Had hair done so when finished had some choc au pain, worry over soon burn it off.Victoria sponge is two sponge circles,raspberry jam or strawberry jam on top of each circle put them together,then dust icing sugar or caster sugar on top,some folk like to indulge in cream in the middle too i will see if i can upload a picture think it will be easier on fb so look out for it,posted it for you hope your mouth aint watering.How's your dog?Doing well with the exercise Hollz :)

Hi guys - no count from yesterday - didn't count.  I did pretty high calories, though - Probably (doing a quick count) around 1900-2100, not awful, but very high.  I did 1 hour Turbo Kick class, though to balance it off.

Today we (husband and I) walked the dogs very early for 3+ miles early before it got too hot.  It was overcast and very humid.  I had soaked a bandana in water and put it in the freezer and that helped keep me cool.  There is a commercially produced product that works like that - but this one is OK in a pinch.

Took Elle (dog) to the vet yesterday.  Appears she does have a UTI.  Got some antibiotics for her.  Vet said if this doesn't do it will look for bladder stones or other problem.  Hopefully this will nip it in the bud and she'll be fine.

I have had a lot fo high calorie food today, too.  

B:  4 biscuits with jam 400

L:  watermelon,  1/2 grilled cheese and turkey sandwich, smoothie 550

S:  2 brownies 350

sub total  1300 so far....I'll have to be careful the rest of the day, but I think I can keep it down....

I try to answer your questions: I have romantic novels my cousin brought me, then I have mainly soft crime literature, involving cats (example Lillian J. I loved to read him before, but there's no need to read about doctors and scientists killing people out of political conspiracies... :P He's way ahead for my taste now. BTW I have read the book already and I recommend it to everyone! A huge read (700 pages) but worth every single page.

About the recovery: Doctor said that I'll be put on feet on the second day, so I'll be forced to move. I don't know in general though, that will be a detail to indicate later, the doctor, I guess, will study my case and will indicate further exercises, steps. It will cost me for sure! I don't know if I have to be laid down all the time or if I can sit on the bed, but sitting is something difficult to me right now (just for you to be able to imagine, I am unable to sit on a chair without back support longer than 10 minutes), so I guess it won't be allowed for too long, or it will be even more difficult to do... We'll see. I'll try to give my man as much details as possible and he'll write you in English. He speaks well, too. He's just lazy :)

I hope your sciatica is doing better! My living room is "celery green," a nice calm color. It was previously bright pink! We're slowly doing over the house in earth tones and getting rid of the flowery wallpaper, which is a huge project.

Didn't post yesterday as wa so busy - it was an OK day.  Not great - probably arount 1250 calories and no exercise.  

Today so far:

B:  Smoothie (sm) 125 no coffee yet - YIKES!

S:  Banana  90

L:  1/2 C Broccoli Salad, 2 oz turkey, 5 pita chips, granola bar 315 - all that food and variety for oly 315 calories! 

S:  Skinny Cow ice cream 140, 2 carmels 60  cantelope 20 = 220 

D:  chips and salsa, queso dip, 1/2 beef taco 500?

Around 1250 for the day and only exercise was walking around Sams Club!

Progress as of today: 12.4 lbs lost so far, only 15.6 lbs to go!

Even with no exercise it was a weight loss day!! Nice to get a lot of food for little calories, my prawn wonton soup is like that. I have two serves, ten whole prawn wontons in a delicious broth for only 198, bargain! Thank you for all your support lately holly, I appreciate it greatly. Have a wonderful weekend:)

Today have lots to do at work.  More later.  Have a good one, eveyone!    

A bit worried about my dog, Elle - the black and brown one.   She is not uninating hardly at all and when she goes on long walks with us she seems to be stopping to go, but doesn't.  She seems to feel fine, though.  

Well, today has been a messed up day eating wise.  I was called to a Board meeting for my State professional association today - I agree to a board position only Monday of this week and although I was told about the meeting - I had forgotten because I hadn't decided to be on the board or not.....so off to Louisville which is an hour and a half one way away.  Long meeting and traffic was terrible coming back.  I used to do that drive 1-3 times per week for years and years - seems like another life now.  LOL!  Sort of, anyway!  I had a meeting this morning and assumed they would have fruit - they didn't - I at a scone.  I didn't have time for lunch and ate cookies for dinner.  Chuck this day out the window.  Even I can't believe what I have eaten today!  I only had 6 cookies (very tiny ones fromj a bakery-like that matters!) and I could have eaten tons of them.  Now I'm half nasous!  I'll eat something small and good for me before bed and start all over in the morning.  I have to go in work early and I have another 40 minute trip tomorrow.

I had sciatica too. Try glucosamine. It is available at most places they sell viatmins. It works really well for me and I just take it when I feel the pain and it goes away in about 24 hours. For me it is what solved that problem. I just take one every once in a while now.

Maybe a kidney infection Holly,Alfie was getting stressed about wearing this gaurd around his neck to stop him licking so i took it off,just need to watch him :/dreading bed time though
