Day 133 - Yesterday was another weird food day - stuff I don't usually eat.  I am attributing this to husband being out of town and me not cooking....Oh well, I won't stay in this mode forever  Still not very hungry - I'm just eating when hungry and eating what I like.  It has put me in a different mode all together.

B:  Coffee

L:  Will be chinese food as I must go to a business meeting......at Chinese Rest.  Mei Fen 1/2 small Order Yum 400???

S:  pastry 400

D:  Mexican Pizza 2 sm slices 500

S:  nuts  70

1370 cals - 2 mile walk

Day 132  Rained last night and I didn't get on the Elliptical.  Calories were fine, but it was a weird food day.  More later.......

L:  1/2 hamburger with pimento cheese (yes this is the way the restaurant makes it-YUM) Fries with catsup 600 (?)

D:  Strawberry cream cheese pastry  300

Another weird food day!  Don't care - it's what I wanted and I'll get back to healthier things soon.  I'm not very hungry in between so cals have been OK in total - just bad nutrition - I know.

Day 131 - Didn't even update Friday - not sure what I ate - it wasn't bad.  I am holding my own.  Didn't count  on weekend, but except for some ice cream on Saturday I didn't do badly.  

Today I wasn't hungry much in the morning and not really now......ate a big lunch.  Going to walk if rain holds off.  Very cloudy right now.

B:  Water

L:  Baked Chicken, dressing, cole slaw, corn muffin with no butter and grape jam.......700 (?) 

D:  One pancake and maple syrup  300

 Husband is out of town, daughter working - I will just much something easy and light at home for dinner..

Day 128 - The best thing I can say about yesterday is that I walked 2 miles.  Calories were 1650 - JUNK stuff.   Oh well.  Today is another day and it's not like I don't know it!

Day 127  Yesterday was high calorie day.  I went crazy on sweets late in the day.  I walked two miles, at least.

Today is another day -

B:  apple cider/whole wheat donut 200

L:  Taco 250

S:  Cookie 300

S:  Donut 200

S:  almond buttter and honey with pita chips 350

D:  Very sm spaghetti and meatballs - One Cup 350

Oh brother - junked out - but walked 2 miles Cals = 1650

I went crazy on everything yest :( and paying for it with idigestion.That catfish sounds yummy,yes haddock is meaty delish covered in breadcrumbs and tartar sauce =high cals.Made a birhday cake for a friend and some scones had to taste a couple :(Hope you do better than me today,Jue.

i totally agree that it has to be a balance of learning/understanding what is best for our body/health and then putting it into practice through right action. i had a guru who once told me "achieve stillness of mind (i.e. meditation) and then perform action" - makes so much sense! xo

Day 126 Yesterday was OK  kept cals reasonable and walked 2 miles

McWoo - Not sure how to reply since you have gone PVT but will reply to catfish question here - catfish is more a southern US meal.  I'm in  the state of Kentucky, and we are really slightly above the Mason-Dixon line that basically divides North from South but we lean more to southern culture than northern if that makes sense.  Catfish is best fried dipped in cornmeal in either bacon fat (best) or peanut oil.  It can be broiled or done spicy cajun style too.  It can vary greatly in taste depending on if it is wild caught of farm raised.  If wild they usually have a stronger taste - but most served in restaurants are farm raised and diet is control so mild taste.  They are typically very meaty and popular fish.  Hope that helps.  It is probably similar to haddock....as I recall haddock is meaty???

L:  1 slice pepperoni pizza, salad  500

D:  Smoothie  300

S:  Cookie and almond butter and honey sandwich 795

Total 1895 - Yikes - I went nuts on the sweets!

Day 125  Yesterday was OK on calories.  No exercise which was a bummer - my fault.  Daughter and boyfriend were at the house and I just hung out with them.  Could have left because husband was there.  Should have taken the dogs for a walk.

I will exercise today.

B:  Banana, water 100

L:  With daughter - at favorite home cooking restaurant.  YUM Fried Catfish sandwich, slaw - it was goooooood!  ate 2/3 of sandwich  750

So that's about 850 so far today - I'll have to be careful with cals the rest of the day!

D:  Who knows.......

D:  chips and mexican cheese dip - baked potato with a little butter and sour cream


Total cals - 1550   2 mile walk with husband and dogs

Day 124 - This weekend was OK - husband discovered he had he date wrong for the yard sale - it's not until 6/8.  So we actually are ahead of the game for once - LOL!

Ate OK this weekend.  Probably a break even weekend - no loss but no gain.  I think I am feeling some better from the allergy symptoms (or whatever it is/was).  I walked two miles last night with daughter, her boyfriend and dogs.  That made me feel better as exercise the last week was abysmal.

So far today:

B:  Banana, water 100

P.S.  Sorry haven't commented on other's diaries much lately - when I get over the allergies/cold - I'll be putting my two cents in!!

 L:  Smoothie - Strawberries, pineapple, 1/2 banana, 1%  milk,  yogurt, 400

D:  Hamburger, 2 pieces corn on the cob w little butter  665

Cals - 1265  Exercise - none  :o(

Oh man, I had the worst allergies of my life yesterday. I took 20 mg of loratadin and a steroid nasal spray and I was still miserable all day. I think there's something in the air this year...

Day 121  Last night I kept my word and didn't overeat so the balance of the day was pretty much OK.  I did some laundry after work and worked with husband on getting some things together for the neigborhood year sale on Saturday.  Then I went to bed and slept very soundly!

Today we had cook-out at work for lunch.....

B:  Coffee

L:  hot dog with mustard, little mac and cheese, peanut brittle    650

Not the healthiest, but calories OK for 1/2 the day.

Day 120 - The end of yesterday was pretty awful.  One of the worst eating days I've had in a very long time.  I started feeling bad because the allergies started acting up again yesterday.  AUGGGHHHHH!  I went to my ladies group at church, came home and went to bed!  But not before I over ate quite a bit.  Don't feel too much better today, but taking antihistimines and hopefully that will keep the symptoms down some.  I'm so TIRED.  I didn't walk last night at all.  On top of that today I have already eaten almost all my calories for the day!  Went to business meeting 2 hours away - others drove and we stopped at Penn Station for lunch - well - it was good, but my lunch alone was about 1000 calories.  I only had coffee and a banana for breakfast so if I do real careful on dinner I can still be "OK" for the cals today.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this is "disaster" - it's not - it's only one or two days of eating a bit too much and no exercise.  Not much in the big scheme of things,  but I'm just so frustrated I feel so bad.     :o(

Come on, pick yourself up, and utilize all the tomorrows that God will bless you with. Tomorrows is your gift, to stand back up again. We all have our grey days. I don't know what your highest weight was, but at least you didn't allow yourself to become morbidly obese....so you can conquer this, and reach your goal. Hug!s
