Day 78.  I thought I would be further along toward goal by now.  Kind of a down day.  Have eaten a little too much the last few days - not not totally awful.  I have a business networking lunch this afternoon, so I will try to keep it reasonable.  I must exercise more.  I am having a hard time with energy level.  Daughter is going through hard time right now and you know that means I am, too.  Sigh.  But better times ahead.  God bless all.

B:  Muffin, Tea - 350

 L:  Chicken with mushroom sauce, ceasar salad, bread and butter 550

S:  Nuts  300

D:  Toast, butter and Jam 450

1650 Calories

Walked not quite a mile with friend.  She does not exercise regularly but I thought she could do more and then I would walk more later - but she couldn't and I didn't!

Day 74 - YAY!

Been missing in action last 1 1/2 days - sorry - Some issues with daughter I needed to deal with.  I am hoping this will calm down a bit now.

I have done well the time I've not reported.  I walked about 45 minutes last night and Wednesday night I did my "spiritual exercise" with the ladies at church.  It was such a good group.

So far today:

B:  2 donuts!!  Tea 400

L:  4 crackers and PNB  170

S:  Light chips 70

Oh goodies - nothing but JUNK today so far!

Day 72!  YAY!  Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Yesterday was a good day.  I have 1380 cal total and an hour walk in the park with dogs and husband.

B:  Soothie, Tea   250

S:  4 crackers and dab of pnb = 150

L:  Cooked beets and 6 tiny meatballs brought by my co-workers - yum - 300

Sub total - 700

Day 71!

Yesterday was a good day  1200 cal range.  healthy stuff.  No exercise, but will do some today.  My exercise partner cancelled on me last minute and I needed to work on my church group homework, anyway.  Oh, well.

So far today:

B:  Tea

L:  Lunch with my Professional Association - So it was not my choices - Did OK bc ate 1/2 of the things they served.  Roll w Butter 150, 1/2 ham and turkey open face sandwich 350, 1/2 choc cake, 150 Tea  650

S:  Apple 60

S:  4 crackers a dab of PNB 170 (maybe)

Dinner late after an hour walk with dogs

D:  Potato soup (YUMMY) and 1/2 grilled turkey & Cheese sandwich  500 (?)

1380 Total and 1 hour walking

I'll exercise tonight!!!

Day 70 - Hello everyone  -  I'm back from my trips and have been meaning to post.  So here goes:

I didn't count while away - it just was not practical, but I am pleased with how I did all in all.  Some big meals, so not so big - mostly health stuff and LOTS of walking.  I am counting again beginning today:

B:  Can't believe I just didn't eat it today!  0

L:  Potato soup (homemade),  beets (fresh), grapes, tiny bite of PNB = 480

Subtotal 480

Exercise tonight.  I've been taking vitamins too - and I think I can tell a diff!  Taking gummies - Adult One-A-Days and also some calcium + Vit D.

More later, ladies -  I hope to catch up on your diaries soon - I've missed your all!

D:  Spaghetti and meat sauce - homemade - 350 - small portion

Total:  1230  Good total!!  No exercise, but will do it today.

Day 56!!!!  Almost 2 months!

Did ok this weekend - had 1/2 rack BBQ ribs on Saturday night - but only a very small salad with it and not much the rest of the day.   So calories were OK.  On Sunday I had One Big Pancake and again - not much else the rest of the day - so calories were OK.

I exercised on Friday, Sat and Sun!  Walked or did dvds.  I got a new one on Saturday I really like - "Dance of Inches with Ballroom"  It's 55 minutes long and really fun.  I did it all twice.  Very aerobic and fun.  Kristina Malovic (something like that).  She is not good about cueing ahead, but the steps aren't hard so it all works out.  

Today so far:

B:  Smoothie, Tea 256

S:  Banana  100

L:  Small Hamburger 500

D:  Smoothie and nuts  350

Total Cals = 1206 YAY!

I leave for vacation (Charleston SC) and work trip to D.C. at noon tomorrow, so don't know how much time I'll have to post for the next week, but hang in there everyone!  I'll be back!

Day 53!  Yesterday was OK - I went over 1500 calories by a couple hundred, but not too bad.  Didn't exercise, but will tonight!  I worked late and was tired when I got home.  Weather here is sunny, but only 24 degrees this morning - supposed to warm up by Monday - weekend forecast - not too bad.  I am leaving for Charleston SC on Tuesday night so I need to check out what the forecast for next week is there!

So far today:

B:  Cereal, tea - 200

L: chicken and mashed potatoes in a pre-fab bowl - don't like processed foods that much, but......200 calories - I brought an apple and an orange for nutrition but didn't eat them - ate BBQ chips that were left in the kitchen instead!  What's wrong withme - I don't usually even touch chips!  Total for lunch 450. 

I have done well resisting the rest of the GS cookies I ordered.  I ordered 3 boxes, but one is unopened so far and one was sent with husband to work this morning.  I ate almost the other whole box on Wednesday and then couldn't eat the rest of the day in order to stay reasonable on calories!!!  I usually don't even order any, but I was a GS for 11 years - 2nd grade Brownies through Senior in High School!  Guess I got nostalgic!

LOL..oh those GS cookies!! I was a GS too and buy them from time to time..My favorite is the Thin Mints and they had these coconut/caramel,chocolate ones that were soooo good!! I'm impressed that you managed your calories so well the rest of the day after eating a bunch of the cookies..that's discipline and dedication!!

Oh yah, thin mints and Samoas. Have them both here. It is the thin mints that call to me. I did not buy them my daughter did. GS cookies are evil, I know it. :)

LOL @ the GS cookies....I hear you loud and clear as well! I had the same problem last week with Thin Mints...and I put them in the back of the freezer! Out of sight, out of mind =) I figure even if I do get them out, at least I will have to eat them slower because they are frozen...proud to say I haven't touched them since I put them in there! Having chips once in awhile or other things we crave in moderation isn't bad. I feel that you made a good decision to allow yourself a few treats because feeling deprived leads to overeating anyway. Keep it up! Have a great weekend =)

Usually that was about my limit. I think the longest i went was almost 3 months. you are doing well too!

Day 52! YAY!  I stuck to my guns last night and didn't consume many more calories - I had 3 bites of pasta and some nuts for dinner and tea.  Probably about 150 calories.  AND I worked out with the Jillian Michaels Burn Fat, Boost Metabolism DVD.  It was good over all.  I found her tone of voice annoying and the music was even more annoying, to me.  But, it was a good workout.  I only did 25 minutes out of 55 minutes because I didn't want to be too sore today - and I'm not.  Also - there were several things I couldn't do because of my frozen big toes (yes - they are frozen and do not bend back very well-LOL!) but I modified the things that were too much or that my toes prevented me from doing.  I am going to do more tonight.  I'm going to check out the Shred one.

So far today:

B:  Smoothie, Tea  235

S:  2 crackers dab of pnb = 86

L:  small tuna sub - light chips diet coke = 475

S:  crackers and pnb =170 orange = 60

S:  snack bar and a few nuts 200

D:  Pizza  400

S:  skinny cow 140

1766 total calories - a bit over my 1500 max

LOL I find her annoying sometimes too but she gets the job done! 55 minutes? that workout sounds hard! The 20 minute one is intense lol. Just wanted to say thanks, I read your comment and it motivated me to get off my butt and workout this morning as I was NOT feeling like it! =) Keep it up!

LOL, i've gotten used to tuning her voice out. I concentrate on the clock, trying to push time to move faster than it is; or I glue my eyes to a picture on the wall or a mark of some kind, and concentrate on that. Sometimes (well, most of the time, actually) it works! ;)

Day 51!  Monday and yesterday were fine, but today - YIKES!  Girl Scout Cookies - WHY did I order those anyway?  I am just going to chalk today up as an OH WELL kind of day and start again tomorrow.  Really I'll start again tonight. 

I've probably had 1500 calories already to day - so it's not total disaster, but it was SUGAR calories for the MOST part - I'll do well tonight and get back in touch with my goals - exercise is planned tonight, too.  I finally received my three Jill Michaels DVDs - including the SHRED one!  My friend is supposed to come over and check them out with me.  She doesn't typically exercise - so I hope it's not too much for her.
