Are you starting your third week? I remember saying that things start to fall into place after the 3rd week, at least in my experiences.
Which is why it's probably a good idea to try to do weights tonight, if you still plan to weight train during the week. Good for you!
can you believe it's already my 3rd week!!!!!
You enjoy your day too. The weekend was such a nice relief after two weeks of work at a new place.
Some tasks i will not do until end of the month...there's certain things i do only end of month...so i will learn the hang of them next week.
but my biggest priorities have fallen into place, yes.
12.50 hours in 2021 outdoors in Sun cardio or inside cardio!

seems calories are low today and I'm ready to go to bed very early ....can't think past getting up around 5:15am tomorrow morning
i don't have veggies prepared for tomorrow's lunch...thinking just to have a salad instead of cooked veggies and that makes sense because i have tons of romaine and lettuce in my apt right now.....and very little cooked veggies beyond what may be in the freezer.
Progress as of today: 2 lbs lost so far, only 1 lbs to go!

Goal to do leg exercises tonight, but not sure.
..Do legs SATURDAY, taking a rest tonight, is my plan...then, not sure what day to begin next week, will give it some thought over the next couple days...(i'm not sure if i will want to lift on Monday, my day off from work for MLK Day...or if i want to wait until Tuesday to lift weights) One thing i learned from my past employment is that i prefered to get the weights done on workdays and have the weekend very free sometimes for other activitities or to feel like i really got rest....i'll determine this later on for next week's lifting plans....
being that it's a 3day weekend, i'm so thankful as it comes just as I started this new job, after 2 weeks being there.
I am not sure how i will spend it...i will prob drive to parents (maybe) and go walking with them on ONE of the days.
the rest of the weekend i'm probably going to spend local but also doing some errands / chores. I'll get some kombucha / go to supermarkets...I will be attempting to wash my dress pants on delicate / cold wash in the washers in the laundry room....
Progress as of today: 2 lbs lost so far, only 1 lbs to go!
I'm so glad you have a long weekend. How nice to have after starting this new job. It will give you time to rest and regroup.
totally will share with you. that's why i'm not asking friend...i found something good on a Cosmopolitan magazine article on the web listing a multitude and the pros / cons. this seems the best one. i'll let you know if i like it after i try it out. i think it's for bags and dark circles etc. and it's a cream...i like creams, not serums.
9.00 hours cardio outdoors in Sun (or inside)
call geico on weekend (or Friday if my boss works from home and he's home)- to verify the cost & pay my Geico Bill for this 6mo term with my defensive driving discount.
I will aim to do leg strength exercises tonight, but may take a break if i feel like it also.
really tired, decided to rest all night. and i'll be in bed before 9pm...sleeping :) I get up at 5:15am, so i really need to get some sleep tonight to make the week end well :) It's been a decently good week. :) I have a nice boss, so far.
i did get some extra walking in, around 1.5 miles on top of my regular commute of 1 mile minimum. around 2-2.5mi today. around an hour in the sun, too.
Happy Thursday...happy it's Thursday because i got up on time, but can't wait to sleep longer on the weekend!!! haha
Breakfast: pie 400 (may save some as a snack), coffee 50 (work provides it, and i bring my almond milk and stick it in the fridge - better than using creamer which is high cal and i'd rather stick to my low cal option beause it all adds up - i take some gummy vitmains that i have cals as well as other things, so that's why i don't want to add cals with creamer/whole milk), kombucha at home minimal.450....
snack150 granola bar.
lunch: veg 100, 2 small wraps 200, small meatball 100, small apple 50. 450.; hot coffee..

as you all may have heard, how you dress at work represents to your coworkers a lot about you. In the past job I held for 9 years, I broke my mold and started to wear jeans to work daily, as it was acceptable since I was working in construction but in the office. (can't get the color back to black here lol)...
this time around, I have taken a vow to not wear jeans. I want a different and more professional persona. I'll only wear jeans fridays if I see people doing it, so far I haven't. I want to step myself up and the first way is to dress professionally daily. Luckily, I have many pairs of older dress pants and they all fit. I may need to purchase a couple more. I don't plan to dry clean them after one wash, even with Covid. I will both not have enough pants for that either. I simply will be wearing pants many times and then dry cleaning some at a time when I can. When I get home, I immediately take them off and hang them up again. Listen, I'm not going to buy like 10 pairs of pants in one shot. And I'm not paying to dry clean after one wear! I'm not that rich.
For the first time in my life, i feel like i am being paid for the work i'm doing. not more, not less. I feel it's honest. I feel like G-D is actually watching over me while I am working. Like i am being partially redeemed for all the times i messed up. all the times i could have done better. all the times i didn't have experience. all the times i was immature. all those times. I'm making enough money to live. some to save. not rich by any means. def not poor. I am self sufficient. I can be free on weekends and also days off like Martin Luther King Day. I live a better life than my great grandparents and grandparents. I am single, I am free. I don't always have to answer to anyone if I don't want to. I have parents that still care about me, even at 38 years old. I have a cute nephew too. One day, perhaps i'll meet a man around my age. An equal. Not a much older, experienced too much in life guy or a guy that cannot control his anger but a normal, nice man.
I do the coconut milk in my coffee. I like almond milk as well.
I love your idea to dress more professionally. I agree that you don't need to dry clean your pants every time you wear them - they will wear out quicker! Dry cleaning chemicals are harsh on fabrics!
Hanging them up immediately is excellent. Also, the to air them out, if not in fresh air, perhaps in the bathroom when you take a steamy shower. My other suggesting is to spray them with Febreeze. THAT gets them smelling nice!
I bring my own creamer to work because I don't like the powdered stuff the Boss provides. Male Co-Worker brings his sugar free Coffeemate flavored creamer too.
Hope you have a great day! I'm so proud of you for handling this change!
I’d dress the way others did, depending on the job. Much latitude when I taught at inner city public schools.
reason i'm stepping it up is because in this particular industry, execs tends to dress up but the admin assistants wear the jeans. it's almost like by looking at someone you can guess their role. i've decided i'll dress for the upper role, than to dress in jeans as an assistant.
my reasoning is because i want to succeed, in this new job and any job in the future. and dressing for success cannot hurt.
I swear, if you don't spill on the pants, and if you have enough in your rotation, you can probably get at least 3 wears out of them before having to take them to the cleaners. That will save you time & money, and wear & tear.
yes, i know what you mean by casual pants.
i have sworn off jeans because i know it really dresses a person way down and executives do NOT wear jeans...they dress appropriately, every day.
i will dress like an executive.
now that i have stabilized my weight, i am happy my clothes fit well, and since i lost a little, extremely well right now! not trying to boast, but, i am at a point right now with this new job that I know i's important to make a choice to dress professionally everyday and stick with it!
there's no going back to jeans for me! that's for weekends! :)
all pants i'll wash on my own, delicate, cold, as you said.
BUT, i'm sick of not being treated as an equal. or any assumptions about me.
therefore, I have decided to take it up a notch. it could help with professionalism and how people see me, especially the first time i meet neww people at the company, which i still am everyday.
i remember at my older company, where i was 9 years. this one woman wasn't so smart, but dressed so professionally...she also had the meanest personality....nobody messed with her. she eventually got the position she wanted...sort of an administrator with a salary hike up. she dressed the part even before.
i don't want to be her or anyone else.
but by dressing professionally, it will show i my goal is to be professional.
i can't go back to jeans.

1050 up to dinner.
Healthy dinner: salad with olive oil and seasonings 150, 2 slices cheese 120, piece of pumpkin pie 200 small, gummie fish 100. 600 tops.
2 kit kat sticks while working out yum. 110
1750.
thinking to have a small salad with an individual Celeste pizza and do weights.
Overslept completely thru phone alarm, woke up late with bedroom alarm. Out the door on time. Updating DD on phone as I wait for the train....hopefully my body starts to adjust better to this early schedule but it's been 10 months of waking up late and that's probably why I'm having a hard time bc I was used to getting 10hrs sleep every night especially if I wasn't volunteering so it's a slightly large adjustment at the moment but should improve as I continue on.
tonight to do weights, will need to leave work more on time or it becomes difficult to fit the weights in bc the night is short between when I come home and when I'd like to go to bed. I really want to try to get decent sleep for the time being.
if I ever reached a perfect weight it'd be now. On scale I'm just under 110 in the morning. Not sure it will last but happy about it now. I used to weigh 103 in high school before I started my unhealthy relationship bingeing on food. 103 is probably not attainable and I don't want that. For anyone who wonders about cellulite I have a ton on back of thighs just like you do. I'm over it. Losing/gaining weight is not my focus rather than maintaining and not bingeing which are my 2 focus points. That's progress from what I've dealt with earlier in my years , and I'm glad not To not be back there now !!
where did I put my stack of hair clips to keep right side of my hair out of my eye ????? Need that
Progress as of today: 2 lbs lost so far, only 1 lbs to go!
Hope you have a great day! The weekend is coming!
4.5 years of maintenance is great. The vast majority can't do it for more than a year. I'm one of them. I've done maybe 1.5 years. I always set a maximum weight and then vow to lose once I hit it, but something always happens...

Same for the homeowners. The highest deductible allowed. Never a claim. Same for health insurance. Very routine claims like visits to keep them writing my RXs. The sports docs were the only specialists I’ve seen in ages.
maybe living where i live is causing my rates to be higher.
6.5 hours cardio outdoors in Sun (or inside)-----> for you, Jacky.

looking forward to starting my day with pumpkin pie most of this week. store bought, the real deal! it's much lighter than most pies. 1/4 pie is 400 calories...1/4 a full size pie.

mostly, it was good i took the work home this time because i think he was content when i handed him several documents he'd assigned me to finish and i was able to give them to him instead of being absolutely confused and stumped today.
Bankruptcy is federal law. (I'm sure you already knew that.) I loved the subject but it won't help you with your ambitions to work in the city/county court system. You want things like family law, torts (difficult), criminal law, litigation, contracts.
If you give me the list of subjects again, I can tell you what I think would help you most, from what I know.
I still highly recommend BK law though. Like I said, I loved it.
YES...the subjects can be changed at my leisure. will give you the whole list in the future bc i do NOT want to contact the school again and therefore i'll wait for two months to pass before i email them again with my decision in change of a course for my next choice. good idea.
thanks for your advice.
i may actually forgot to record, but, trying.
some vit D is ok...and it's true we should always wear suncreen.

Hmm... There have been times where I have felt closer to God, felt guided or had things confirmed. Can't say it was at exactly 38 years old, but I've had that feeling several times. I don't always feel it or "see" why things happen, so I always try to keep an open heart to hearing God.
Hope you get to bed early tonight! Ahhhhhh what a wonderful idea!

40 is when everything got better for me, and gotten better and better the older I got.

I wake up happy...I'm a glass half full kind of gal so I can't say that I've had any kind of change really......I tend to look for the good......and if I can't find any I usually get quiet....( not always...but usually)....But I'm happy to hear that you are happy and feel positive and energized.
