Pint of cherry tomatoes and a whole pepper 100,: apricot 50, egg white bc the yolk fell on floor 20, matzah 130, half avocado 150 salt and pepper 450 and filling!

coffee heavy milk 100

leaving work early for class (stayed late monday to make up the hour) 

class ends 6pm...

dinner out after  classwith a friend - sauteed mushrooms with garlic 150 big serving, bread 150, some minestrone soup 100, 400

dessert at home: whipped cream 250, icecream 150. 400




plan is come home after class, enjoy dinner, bed early again. no extra exercise today.  i was thinking to maybe jog after class, but, it's pushing it in regards to personal time i'd rather relax before bed and not be out late bc thursday is gym and a late night. friday i do plan to jog/walk after work & sunday too. that'll be good for my 2x a week cardio that i'm making sure i do each week now :)

How was the class?

I had to LOL when I read your egg calorie count - because the yolk fell on the floor. Oh my how many times have I been saved extra calories because of a spill or accident like that?

class is good because it ends earlier...is a half hour shorter...

and for the 1.5 hours that i sit there, the teacher is GREAT, so interesting, has so much knowledge to share, the class is somewhat like a debate class about politics and current events which is INTERESTING and good for almost anyone to be part of. Overall, the content and structure of the class is PERFECT for me. I'm glad to use my free time there. I try to participate a bit in the class...to expand my mind. I'm not a big talker, but i do speak up a little bit rather than not at all like most people. for i have a masters degree, i've been in many classes, i will use the class to my advantage - to expand my horizons and my mind! it's a gift.

it's also just a commitment, no exercise extra or anything else. but it's worth it, to attend a good class especially due to who is teaching. it's thanks to a very smart, engaging, socialable teacher. we are all lucky in this class. he's not boring.

lol with carpeted floors and just the egg yoke popping out and rolling on that carpet....def no good way to clean that off without making a bigger mess haha.... :) great calorie savings!...but today i will get the nutrition in of the yoke ;)

Happy to start new today. Yesterday was a free pass for sure..

Home: kombucha 30

Breakfast: wrap 60, avocado 160, lox 50. coffee 50.

Snack: almonds..maybe more coffee...200

lunch: healthy - crackers 120, cauliflower i roasted no oil to mix with leftover Indian saag some cheese, 400?, and a pepper if i want 50. 650.tops


snack: apricots 50


before gym: sandwich at home wtih veggies ? maybe just granola bar with a drink. 200


after gym: bar or maybe cookie 350

fresh are zero ww points and dried have points for that same reason. Both are good though.

bc the dried are far less filling bc they are dried up - no water. so like a half cup of dried ones takes up a half cup but originally they were each a half cup! but like 5 apricots dried fit in a half cup size...also, sugar might be sometimes added to dried ones.

half cup is less filling, takes up far less space for more calories...as water has been sucked out so they will be more concentrated with sugar and less filling...all dried things especially fruit is this way.

While I acknowledge what you said about dried fruit -- this is not new information to me -- when I feel like "indulging" or needing a "sweet", I confess that I grab a small piece or 2 of dried pineapple. It IS just like candy, but I have to think it's a *little* better than just straight out candy. A piece or 2, and I'm set. I LOVE dried apricots, but they are a food that I have problems eating in moderation because they are SO yummy!

Yes I'd agree dried fruit is a healthier indulgence and a good pick me up before exercise or with a coffee ;) lol that's how I would do it !

Fresh vs dried for me comes down to portion control. I can eat a piece of fresh fruit and be mostly satisfied for the time. When dealing with dried fruit, it's much easier to eat several pieces that can amount to a few pieces of that same fruit (minus the water). So eating dried fruit usually ends up with double the intake of calories for me.

agreed, i stay away from dried fruit usually bc to me it's an utter waste of calories! once in awhile i'll add it to my oatmeal like with cranberries which are lowest in sugar and sometimes sold as low sugar.

250 couldn't sleep too much caffeine so ended up splurgng on whipped cream and yes i'm really bloated this AM i think due to tons of salt yesterday eve after gym...all is good everything should be more normal by Tuesday or Wednesday :)

Kombucha 50 in morning..

Oatmeal mix 380 same as last week, siracha almonds (they're great) 70, coffee 50. 500.

snack: almonds if needed 100

900 a bit high for the morning but cals have been good so far this weekend so i'm ok for today :)

lunch: buying indian...ate a bit too much but it was great. 800 approx healthy. indian prepared creamy spinach (saag) egg/egg white and crackers

snack: siracha almonds 70 AND COOKIE 80 (staying at work late tonight so i don't have to come in early wednesday)

...dinner: more Indian is what i want or ice cream? i want to cook the cauliflower fried rice...or i'll have to stick it in the freezer tonight so the riced cauliflower doesn't spoil. plan is to not do a lot tonight. perhaps sleep early. rice is prob going in freezer as i'm not in the mood to cook.

i want my typical light dinner...will buy jello and have ice cream. maybe some whipped cream also. all other meals were healthy today as well as snacks, so i'm fine.

ice cream 300, chips servings 400. 700 emotional eating.

2550, not great, not terrible!

and whipped cream 250...2800. first time in a LONG time i've had calories this high.

new day today in a new office, same job and address, different room.

3day: 2299 yucky. total emotional eating. i could do much better...this day is DONE!


they moved my seat at the office on friday on my day off bc higher administration wants that small office for 1 person of imporatance rather than myself and someone who's retiring in August, so i'm in a bigger room with more than 1 coworker now (4 others) and a lot more distraction and also less freedom for me personally like now when i go to lunch people know! and they know how often i get up for bathroom, etc., if i'm late...but i do right and don't take advantage so i should be OK!....and for awhile i'll prob have to watch myself on the internet again..

yes, that's my plan :) at least my gym session was amazing bc caffeine (extra) really does give you wings! but too much also caused acne once again...

yes i did! i had no idea that Central park had waterfalls and also once had 3 forts. Waterfalls and all lakes are totally man made though! The park, parts that i saw as we didn't see the whole 9 mile i think park, was amazing and i didn't know it was that special! my phone isn't even a new phone but with a park as beautiful as central park, everything looks good!

Sometimes you just have to let these food things ride out. Otherwise, restriction backfires and that brings problems thatare harder to work out.

(i might cook cauliflower fried rice as i just bought the cauliflower rice and a bag of frozen peas and carrots yesterday on my way home :) and i believe i have everything else i need like soy sauce...i once made it but just the cauliflower and it didn't turn out great so this time i want to make it right!) if i don't cook it today, it will happen sooner or later!

and then off to the event tonight for my dad...i may drive to my parents so i can go with them to the event, but we'll see. it's extra driving - maybe it could be good to show up with them, i haven't made up my mind just yet.

glad i'm home bc my hormones are whacky and i've been using the bathroom all morning / afternoon.

yeah....same here with the cauliflower rice...i should just freeze the cauliflower in my freezer as it's already in rice form and would hate for it to spoil!!! yes, that's probably what i should do! as i don't think i'll be doing it tomorrow and now heading to bed...extremely active weekend!

snacks: clementines 30 and choc covered pomegranates 100 (tired day...and i think hormones are starting to call my name - things starting to move i think in my abs due to period coming oh yay lol)

Before gym: not sure, just tired and can't wait to get gym outta the way and sleep in tomorrow. sandwiches before and after gym, 350 each. so 700. too much caffeine but it thankfully wore off as the workout progressed. the start was bad bc i had to keep resting as the caffeine was too much. this is basically why i stopped the energy drinks mostly...but tonight i had bc i knew i had off tomorrow and i had an extra late night workout till 9:30pm.

THIS WILL BE SUNDAY morning instead of tomorrow bc i'm really tired and will enjoy SLEEPING in tomorrow and not getting up till i feel like it! I'm taking off tomorrow but it's supposed to rain and i signed up for a tour of central park for two hours walking.

i may cancel that and reschedule and just sleep in as lately i'm struggling to get up and also sleeping less...so sleeping in would be very nice! But i'll try to keep it scheduled for tomorrow morning, the tour.  My phone says thunderstorms whch may not be all day - i think it's important to be active so i'll keep checking my phone ot see hourly forecast for friday morning. To be at the tour at 10, i have to leave my place around 8am so it's still a sorta early wakeup..i can always come home and take  a nap before the event, maybe! like i said, i most probably will do the healthy walking tour, as long as the rain doesn't look too bad.

Later on, I have an event around 45 min away Friday night that i DO have to dress up for - a dinner dance. My dad is being honored, the reason i am attending. That's the major reason for me taking Friday off as I was NOT keen on working a full day 8-4:30, going home and getting there around 6pm, quickly prepping, and heading out to a party that starts at 7:30. It's funny how i'm fine to do it with the gym...but...that doesn't involve me looking my "best."

thanks, yes, i'll be checking the weather up until tonight when i might cancel and still take the day off but get a head start on laundry, some cooking, and still jog / do cardio - at gym or at a park by me if the weather is decent enough...

later before class a granola bar 200 with water..very late to class i should miss half, i'm not really even upset at myself with it. i just don't care right now bc it's not that important to me - i'll say i had to stay at work & that i'll try to do better the remaining sessions. it's a free course and you just need to show up...usually i care more, right now, i'm just trying to get it done any way possible. i know, not the best example i'm setting.

i just couldn't get out of my apartment any earlier, wanted to use the bathroom and didn't care about leaving earlier if i couldn't do that. there was traffic heading home yesterday and i got to the the gym pretty late and i was home late around 9pm...so being off Friday to do anything but work is a great thing...i am going to Central Park on a 2hr Secrets of the Park walking tour that i got half price...

...lately, i find it important to fit movement in when possible more than my regular. really trying here and just wanted to get that course out of the way...so that if i'm chosen for jury duty and i'm actually chosen to go a few days, i can be paid at 80% of my salary instead of the typical $40 a day....that's what this course gives me entitlement towards. It's 5 weeks, Wednesdays 5-7pm. Tonight i hope to get there by 5:45. TEACHER WAS FABULOUS, FUNNY, KEEPS THE MOMENTUM...HAPPY. I SHOULD GET THERE ON TIME FOR THE 4 REMAINING CLASSES JUST BECAUSE I OWE IT TO THE TEACHER AND OTHER STUDENTS IN THE CLASS. HE MADE ME LAUGH AND I REALLY LOVE THE CONTENT. IT'S A GREAT CLASS.

Lighter dinner: 350, 260 it was a few sf jello 50, a wrap with chicken deli meat, some extra salt and pepper and garlic, and mashed avocado spread 300, followed by whipped cream with light ice cream. tasty. glad at least i'm eating avocado lately which is one of the best things i consume.

GOOD, decided to relax :) continue watching the Mike&Molly series i borrowed from library :) class i got to late & it ended early. 



early to bed after class (which i'm missing half of....but it's not a test kinda class and last class i never missed any days or was late...so....i'm late today. so be it!) glad i took off Friday of this week...despite having Monday off I feel like i'm just boucing off the walls activity to activity!


i'll be late to class bc i didn't come early to work bc i was drinking kombucha bc i really wanted to use the bathroom this AM and did, but left half hour later than planned, still on time to work, just not early as i meant to be half hour early...anyways, moving on

YES...it's also very easy to bring to work - i bring them whole in their shells and crack them open at work while having lunch!

i used to buy just whites in the containers of liquid eggs to make omelettes at home on weekends, but now i also just separate out the yokes before cooking the omelette. way better price.

i don't throw out all yokes bc some yoke is more satisfying than skipping it completely (keeps me fuller longer to have some yolk/1 yolk)

Yeah...we eat the yolks...but I usually never eat more than 2...so I hadn't given it much thought.

wrap 100, white beans 50, avocado (have tons ready and ripe in the fridge!) 150, tuna 50, garlic and pepper and will be very filling, grape tomatoes 50: 400, ligher side but like i said should be filling

snacks: 2 clementines (coworker on vaca left me tons of fruit!)  and coffee

had a couple cookies bc just too hungry / getting shaky - too much caffeine so will not have any later before gym.


before gym: thinking a wrap back at home with either chicken or turkey deli meat and lots of mustard with a big grapefruit afterwards.


after gym: not sure, i could just go for a Cliff Bar :) 260-300 tops


 i thought i'd have really low cals today, but i'm very hungry so they will not be crazy low

Late by over 20 min to work bc a friend told me about train delays and i ended up "delaying myself" getting out of bed lol. the train delays pretty much cleared up by my usual time and i could have gotten here on time had he not told me about the delays lol....but this is all my fault being late today! for sure! i'll have to stay late but no worries, i took a vacation day Friday since i have an event to go to that evening and it's a drive so i decided i would make it so that i can sleep in Friday :) ....moving on !!

yes, a nice lighter lunch should make for a good day.... :) need to get back on track, so frustrating that i keep having a day of higher cals so the rest of the week doesn't make a dent in weight loss, just to level back...i know you would be familiar with this...it takes so many good days to offset a poor day

Time for a movie soon...i'll check later which one i borrowed from the library - oh, i rented a whole series of tv shows called Mike and Molly - so funny...happy to sit home, watch TV for late morning and early afternoon after a very eventful weekend i'm looking for a relaxed day here.

I event went for a complete food shopping trip on the way home yesterday after i dropped off my friend bc the supermarkets are HUGE on long island with everything i could need, so i bought extras of things so i will not have to buy eggs any time in the near future, or almond milk, they even had my kombucha in the supermarket....so i bought lots of things that last in the fridge as well as sale items like tuna so that i can avoid some shopping in the next couple months for those items! :)

happy, getting laundry out of the way now done by noon and then watching a movie before heading out for a little bit for some cardio :) i haven't decided where to do the cardio but thinking to drive to my old favorite park which will def be open today. i was thinking to go to a nearby local track at a college but they sometimes close gates to the entryways on holidays like this one.
