3pm snack: roasted and lightly salted almonds 150

snack before gym: will be seltzer with stevia and carbs - fiber 1 cookie of course, still loving them. oatmeal flavor i think today. 150

1600 before gym

after: cookie 350, chips 250, banana 100 - 700

2300, fine.

feeling a little chubby...gotta watch it.

gym was awesome. i'm thinking take a break from cookies and start to eat something mroe real after the gym or to cook protein muffins / pancakes again for a little bit :-P

DO you take a pre-test to determine how well you will do or what area that needs work? I'm excited for you.

I can do everything easily, except for the jogging :-)

I know the test is an obstacle course, to get in. I know i can pass....but running in the academy i am preparing for. it's running often for 6 months of it....so i am conditioning myself now :-D

I don't use a progress chart, but now i'm in month #2 of jogging training...where i walk / jog 2x per week instead of 1x like last month.

Instead of a progress chart, i do the work, knowing that i AM making progress! :-D

Back at work - so thankful for the 4-days off in a row.  My skin is better of course and I am feeling pretty good too :-)

Home - lots of kombucha 100

Breakfast at work: banana 120, wrap 100, pb 230, coffee 50

11am - 1 egg and 1 fiber one cookie 200 cal.

800 before LATE lunch maybe - since i ended up with a bigger snack ...lately i just eat more & don't seem to have too much of a problem maintaining my weight bc i've added jogging in even the 1x a week has helped.!!! nice

Healthy lunch: lots of leftover rice 300? some oil, some meat so little though 100? and lots of shredded lettuce 50. 450-500.

3:30pm snack feeling very tired and think i got a stye ugh. eye puffy at top, but i already have the stuff for it here at work! almonds 150

1450 before dinner...and maybe fruit at home if i need to.

dinner: chinese but pretty low cal and frozen yogurrt at home 600 total

2050 today - awesome

yes, i have a stye somewhere at the top eyelid this time. I have the ointment stuff, don't need to visit a doctor - it ust looks swolen and puffy right now. at least it'll fix itself soon enough.




I was on time to work, but had to rush....NOT GOOD. my fault for leaving late.

But at least I was on time on my day back!

Today I deal with a half hour lunch and I play to sew my shirt that has a hole at lunch in a bathroom downstairs. Might as well make use of my time. In the bathroom bc it's the shirt I wore today - NEW - and i spotted a hole - sh*t sewing job from this company ugh!

Meeting my dad for dinner & his friend is going to put up my blinds tonight around 7pm.

The men yesterday who installed the windows damaged my ceiling and there's also a large crack in the living room wall due to the very heavy hands at hamering. i'm just saying.  It doesn't bother me...it'll have to get fixed down the road. I'm just happy with the blinds going back up for now. !!!!


I showered really well last night (i was actually in there for a long time, debating how i'd skip it this AM on purpose) so i'm actually skipping it this AM and getting out of here early for work - do NOT want to be late on my first day back after the most days I've had off in a row since....hmmm....gotta think when the last time I had Sat, Sun plus 2 extra days (mon / tues off....) ? Feels GOOD to have the mental break from work this weekend, really GREAT. I'm clean - i'll just wipe myself with some wipes....i didn't sweat or anything last night and my hair is short so it looks fine. :-) gotta do what i gotta do. and wear some perfume. it's not obvious. i'll be wearing a dress shirt (collar shirt) with jeans.

Early 7am: kombucha 60

8am breakfast quickly at home: wrap 100, pb 200, banana 120 & seltzer with stevia

10:30am snack: roasted lightly salted almonds and seltzer with stevia as these men work. I'll give them water & granola bars later when they are done. i have nothing to give them now....maybe i'll give them granola bars as a snack after lunch - nah - when they leave they can take the box home. i don't want to disrupt their work now. i'm staying OUT of it.

650 before some sorta lunch, but not eating when they do....i'll walk to housing office while they eat and put $ on my laundry card at that time....get in some exercise bc i've been on this couch since 8am and it's now almost 11am - supposedly they eat at 11am.  Yes, did a sorta short 15-20min walk, better than nothing...and man these men work SO HARD! burning so many calories like you wouldn't believe! hammering away, carrying extremely large glass panes (some of my window area is not windows, but glass panes only. it's cool, the building i live in, especiallly the windows.

11:30am lunch ate early bc men ate at 11 so when they went back to work, i ate: rice, yeah a lot, 250?, tofu 150?, some veg in some sauce 200? 600 i'd say, doubt more. healthy.

1250 after healthy lunch. today will not be low cal but shouldn't break the bank either. i might watch a movie here that i took out from Library & then gym later this afternoon. i already put $$$ on my laundry card while the men had lunch from 11-11:30am.

3pm coffee falling asleep 50 (going to bed at 2am has its downfalls! haha) later a fiber 1 cookie 120

After gym: protein cookie 360, small frozen yogurt 80, roasted squash leftovers from what i cooked so good!!! 150 600 total.

no coffee today but i'm sorta craving it and may go out to get some and dunkin donuts before watching a movie? or just settle to read a book, actually. i doubt i'll get into any movies today. prob will just return them to the library..


I am off work today specifically bc my housing requires someone to be home during this construction work (window replacements). i didn't want to come into work really late at 1-2pm so i took the day off so I don't have owing time on my conscience also.

So I am having semi-major construction work done in my apartment - ALL old windows taken out and new ones installed (including the terrace sliding doors)...they came early and i didn't have time to SHOWER lol....at least i still look decent from yesterday & i had time, just in the nick of time! time - to use the bathroom thank the lord for that one! Glad i don't need to sit here all needing to poop all morning! LOL.

It's my apt window installation today - no time to shower bc they are here early!!!!!  so i'm chilling on the couch while the men do their work......it's not as loud as i thought...thankfully. it's kinda cool seeing these workers interract. Some are more authoritative and confident...others are better at laying low....it's a good team i can tell....they all know their jobs & parts.

So...yeah, there's like 6 men in my apt. lol construction workers. they are doing great work.  it'll get done & i can enjoy the rest of my day...planning to watch a movie & go to gym & put money on my laundry card (dam* - totally almost forgot to do this! glad i remembered as the next time i take a day off from work will not be till SEPTEMBER if i can help it!).

YES - I MUST remember to put $ on my laundry card to which hopefully they take cash bc i have a LOT of extra cash from my friend paying me for the ticket I bought him for last night as well as a ticket on his bday to a show that mostly women will be at - but he said he wanted to go...and i had a 4h ticket.

Early: kombucha 100

9am-9:45am Breakfast: some of that squash roasted with herbs and peanut oil 200 (lots of cals but def very healthy- trying to eat less but i just cooked it and it was so tasty and warm right out of the oven!), small wrap 100 with lox 50 and cream cheese 100: 450

Lunch chips 150 tops, wrap with lox 100 total and turkey burger 150 400. 950...

strawberries and drink before leaving for city

dinner: 1,000 -1100 tops (had extra carbs at dinner and some bites of a custard so that amps up calories a bit...)

snack before bed: banana & seltzer with stevia

2300. today, probably tops.

Miss Saigon, the broadway show, was EXCELLENT. Singers were outstanding and acting was fabulous. Seats royally SUCKED. i could hardly see....had to peak between heads. Never had such bad seats like last night, but the show did make up for it! And tickets were cheap, so, i guess i can't complain too much ;-D

Also, the restaurant food wasn't good either....i had a groupon and usually have good experiences, but the quality was only like 6/10 if i had to rate  it!

Still great experiences, still worth doing it VERY MUCH.  :-D  the guy i went with hadn't seen a Broadway show he said in 10 years and he's 56 now...i don't think i'll ask him again bc he said he loved it...and i know he did....but he complained a lot about the seats being uncomfortable (he is tall) and that it was long....he's a friend, but i'm not interested in him romantically, hopefully there's a man that i will meet that is MORE into the things i love!


Awesome day in store for Memorial Day. I did all my extra laundry at 6:30am this morning! so prepped for the week. I even roasted up some calabaza squash too! I'm set....feels so good.  Plans for the early afternoon include going to a flea market about 1/2 hour away. I am trying to limit calories a hair as i have plans in the city (NYC) for dinner and a Broadway show with my friend, Ricky. Going into the city will take some time, we'll probably go around 3:30-4pm from here to get there.  The dinner I bought us a groupon for a really nice restaurant and the groupon is ok to use on the holiday :-) Food looks amazing on the menu!

We'll prob get home around 11pm-midnight and i do NOT have work tomorrow - getting all new windows installed in my apt along with a new terrace sliding door. The entire 2 buildings here (200 apts) are getting new windows and terrace doors and new balconies....per NYC housing requirements! :)  

So i have to be home during the installation, for my apt, which was scheduled for Tuesday which i feel is kinda nice as it's an extra day off from work in a row, for an extra long 4-day weekend and extra mental REST from my job which was really, REALLY provoking anxiety to the fullest for the past 2 months and now, YES, everything is calm again but i'm loving the 4 days off in a row - using it wisely.

Totally fell asleep after lunch but set the alarm for only 30 min nap - woke up extremely groggy.  The nap took place during the time i meant to see a chorus concert at the library. this weekend i wasn't able to do everything i needed as it seemed i needed to catch up on some sleep!!!!

3pm before gym still sleepy after a half hour nap 100 cookie

Dinner approx 750 - hopefully not more, i indulge on brisket and rice along with tons of veggies.

i've been pretty active so i'm not worried. yesterday was walk / jog of 2mi and today was hardcore gym. I'm sure i did burn the calories up!

sorry i haven't been commenting....been pretty active outside my apt and/or sleeping. lately this holiday weekend has been good for catching up on some zzz's.

tomorrow i have nice plans with a friend in both the morning and later in afternoon. should be a GREAT day, again.

Very productive Day yesterday and today and all weekend :)

Food shopping for weekend done after work yesterday. Laundry done this morning

Reading now in early afternoon, 2pm movie later by myself, jogging at park after the movie at 2pm that will end around 4pm. Home for dinner and relaxing thru tomorrow morning.

Sunday: visit grandma in morning, short free chorus concert at library at 2pm, gym for weights after and home for dinner and rest of the eve

Monday off: laundry small loads and sheets, out to city in afternoon for dinner and Broadway show that I bought a deal for and find out which show on Monday :) going with a friend

Tuesday: off from work - all windows in my apt are being replaced and so there's a big installation of windows and sliding terrace doors - will take till about 1-2pm. So off work. Will go to gym Tuesday night and also pick up food for the remainder of the short work week! Nice to work only 3 days next week!


7am and honey 120 8am breakfast oatmeal 180 with pb and stevia 200 500..

10am meal chips 140 wrap and egg 150 caffeine and cookie dessert

5 min late to work because of bumper to bumper traffic on local queens nyc streets.  unbearable!  it would have helped if i left 10 min earlier like i usually do - i admit to leaving late.

6:30am Home: honey and kombucha and some acv drink because it was such a small amount of kombucha left. 70..

8:30am Breakfast: wrap 80, pb 200, banana 100: 380.

10am-noon Snack - sf candies 50

12:30pm Lunch: wrap 100 with avocado 150 and turkey burger 150 - 400 and veg 100. 500 total.

1000 after a healthy lunch. no caffeine day besides morning coffee....must tame the caffeine down if i want to start feeling better!

1250 after late snack No jog too tired after errands.

Big dinner and total cal around 2200 today.

Important and nice Plans after work:

1- The weather says no rain for afternoon, so i want to jog today!   i think i'll do a minimum of 1.5 miles and be done! doubting i'm doing the 2mi....but depends how i feel later. most probably it'll be 1.5mi. 

2- I also need to pick up a dress that was fixed - the attachment for the button in the back broke and it was brand new...so i just am paying the fix so i can wear it asap...it's so pretty!

3- I am going to pick up Phillips screws for my blinds when they get put back up.  because these types of screws are good for using a power drill, unlike the original screws.

By getting these screws for him, I'm trying to make it easier for the man who is putting back up the blinds for me....! all the way next wednesday. so no blinds till then...i hope they don't break...they are resting on my furniture right now!

1300 before gym...will buy something tasty to drink, forgot my stevia....would have been nice to sweeten it MORE.

my new hours are now 8-5 instead of 8-4:30 with mandatory hour instead of 1/2hr lunch. ah well.

I will hate it if we go to mandatory 1 hour lunches. Right now, we can eat at our desk and only stay here for 8 hours. Not sure I could handle lunch, there is nowhere to eat in this office and I would have to leave. Does that 1/2 hour effect your drive home with traffic?

It doesn't really effect too much the traffic...maybe it could add on 5 min or so extra.

However, it means that my "start" of after work time is delayed...i may try to read at lunch / or walk...and be more productive. i do feel it's going to turn slightly into wasted time though. it is what it is...annoying! LOL. but at least it's not more time working, it's an additional half hour added to my lunch...not time spent working - so i have stopped complaining...and just need to take it as is. funny.

1420 after late lunch which is nice - won't be starving before dinner with dad.

Dinner: hoping for veggies / salad / soup of some sort.

Dinner with dad around 6pm we'll eat, bed early i am waiting for my bed! dinner with mom and dad, actually. that was good. soup with brown rice and chicken 350 tops, prob less, 2 fried apps. 200. total approx 550-600.

Healthy lunch: salad greens but warmed up in microwave, leftover thai veg in ginger sauce 200 total here, mushrooms 50?, chicken a nice serving 250-350?, chips / fruit (leftover fruit from meeting late last week!) 150: 750...

After gym: cookie 350...and small indulgence of small banana and pb 200, ice cream also 150-200. 750, fine.

4-day average: 2060, excellent i'd say. not bad at all!

 I ordered a dress from Old Navy clothing store and it's broken (you know how dresses many times have a button at the back of the neck? the stretchy holder /closure to close the button is halfway ripped off on one side, so the dress cannot be buttoned at the top of my neck)...but instead of returning it, i've chosen to get it fixed at a local seamstress shop because the money / time wasted in return is not worth it...the fix should be $10 or less hopefully. it's not a big problem, so i'll fix it because it's worth it as i like the dress and don't wanna deal with returns, etc. with Old Navy store.


this weekend has turned more restful as certain plans are CANCELED. i am not upset, i could use some extra lounging. I was also gonna skip my jogging, but now i can do it - which is quite wonderful.

Friday or Saturday: plans to jog (prob getting it done after work on friday as I think we're getting out early for the holiday weekend). I like to do this 1x a week jog before the weekend starts.

Saturday also - I feel like i'm forgetting something...laundry i think? gotta be something else?  Picnic plans are canceled with friends - nobody could make it. I'm not upset, i don't mind a slower weekend.

Sunday - visit grandma, short concert at a library!, gym

Monday Memorial Day off from work - restful morning / early afternoon...dinner and Broadway show in NYC with my friend who lives in my community here....looking forward!!!!!!!

Tuesday - having all windows replaced (mandatory per building) and taking the day off for that!.  nice to be outta work all day, for sure!



 My skin is rotten these days...ah well. i bought a new makeup brush to use tomorrow for this reason. and i'm starting to use a powder foundation instead of liquid. hopefully it'll help with decreasing my acne.


I slept again like a baby. man it's good to sleep like this...never in my life that i can recall have a slept so soundly as i do currently. No sleeping pills....my body just is really good lately at "shutting down" at night....it's good i'd say...i feel better come the weekends.

See a dermatologist, wash your makeup brushes and you can use the 90% alcohol to break down a palette, sanitize the powder and reconstitute them into a travel kit in an altoids tin.

a lot of my acne is because of my eating / drinking choices. Too much caffeine and also too much sugary stuff at times. and also my aggressive forms of workout = high stress on my body as well as the stress i had at work (which is finally over wahoo!). Finally i am not anymore stressed by my boss / his admin thank the lord that work isn't causing me a heart attack anymore. It was that way for practically two months! I'm so glad i am NOT in the spotlight anymore! WAHOOO!

It feels good to by OFF the **** list! damn it took so long to get off....i've learned my lesson to just keep my mouth shut i guess. lol.

oh...thank you for the suggestions...i DO need to clean the brushes....and use the powders in a cleaner way....i have work to do.....and i must wash the brush tonight. should have done it yesterday...maybe i'll wash it this morning...after i use it, of course! haha. thanks happy...your suggestions were great. acne is mostly my hormonal fault of bad choices. i am lessening the caffeine again. i don't think i'll drink any today. sick of it.
