edit: i did a jog, just a bit shorter - 1.5mi and also i drove her home! super successful friday....it helps to sleep well, as i have been!

there's a good chance i'm going home to rest after work - quite tired after the whole work i did at work...and promised someone here to drive them home as i have to be on my best behavior so i didn't say NO to someone at work that likes me...she lives in my neighborhood a few blocks away....

planning to drop her off...get some hot food...relax at home, read, bed early. no more exercise today other than the work i did at work...ankle needs rest....i worked hard for like 2 hours cleaning.


Home: kombucha 50

Breakfast 1 at work: banana and coffee 170

Breakfast 2 at work: smoked trout 120, cream cheese 100, wrap 100: 330. and granola bar bc work is requiring heavy lifting today from me, for real, cleaning office as told by my boss.

total so far: 650 and coworker's cookie that tasted yuck!  700.

12pm healthy lunch: 2eggs and egg whites also 180 veg 200 with oil, matzah 120: 500.

1250 after healthier eating at lunch. 

1350 after extra bar at 4pm was hungry.

 snack before jog at 5:45pm - 2 med plums 100


dinner: fried veggie rice 300?, some soy meat not much 100?, and some other veg 150 tops - 550, also ice cream and fruit 150.700, good.

total today is good - 2150.

total this week will be excellent: 

buying fresh veg for dinner probably. and maybe jog.


 Today I did some heavy lifting for like 2hrs mostly by myself.  And now, IP, I’m sooooo glad to sit at the computer for the remaining 2 hours and bullsh*t these 2hours away. THANKFUL for resting time for a couple hours now before I go.  Maybe the rest will help me regain some energy to jog after work – I hope so – because if I do it today I will not have to do it again until next week….i have a new routine for getting into jogging with walk/jogs 1x per week until next month when I’ll delve into a schedule of 2x per week jog/walks.  I’m trying to keep my weightlifting schedule the same…and just add in the jog/walk training. So far it’s good. Sorry if I am rambling, but it feels good to be able to schedule in this new activity. SO GLAD to be sitting now at work because I did GREAT work this morning lifting so many things.  So glad it’s done !!!  I hope my legs / ankle feels good later, because assuming I recover from earlier at work, today would be the day to drive to park and jog! Rain all weekend!


I feel like my every move is being watched by this girl that I thought was OK.  But I’ve learned if the person is in a click, BEWARE. Stay AWAY. It’s true – most people at work are NOT your friends. NOT in the least. And some people are evil enough to WANT to actually make our lives more difficult. HOW SICK! WHY!? If you can realize this reason tell me.  Because the reason I come up with is this – many people are just followers. 


They do what they have to in order to stay in their click.  If one girl hates others, they keep their resolution to their click and they all turn on the girl outside the click.  So in fact, that’s what happened with me. This click includes ladies now, just under 30 two of them but others are in 40’s…that all grew up in the same town, same high school.


All of these women (but the young ones and 40’s!).  They’ve known of each other their whole lives and do what they need to in order to remain in their happy little IGNORANT click. It makes me very sick. So one mean woman wants me fired…they all play into it.  SICKENING.  And they walk around – like they are doing nothing wrong?  They don’t see the world outside their click. It’s in the click or you are nothing to them. How sick. How sad.  I do not get these types of sick people. It saddens me very much.




Last night after gym - egg/egg whites i cooked up last night yay as a way to plan and eat well today!...i have no meat right now at home as i don't really like to make it for the weekend bc it spoils by midweek...i prefer to cook meat to eat all week... 


So happy for weekend.  I will do weights Saturday and Jog hopefully Sunday if weather permits - or today after work if my legs feel up to it. If nothing works, I'll jog MONDAY in evening after dentist appointment.

I am learning there is a way to schedule the jogging AROUND my weights routine, YES. No change in weights routine, only schedule the jog AROUND my already excellent schedule!

Laundry to be done maybe even tonight a lot of it?  - if i do not jog.

Someone once told me "If something negative happens, think of it as an opportunity to excel". Maybe your boss-ordered office clean up will burn a whole bunch of calories, just like a gym work-out at work!

oh boy....it def did!!!!!!!! :-) burned tons extra today, yes :-D

and...i was super happy to be able to be strong and do it :-P....if i didn't lift weights, it wouldn't have been possible for me to do what i did today....i'm super happy that my hard work pays off always in the gym & out!

i'm telling you - without lifting weights, i'd never have lasted for TWO HOURS.

Thank you for your comment to my yesterday's entry. I very much appreciate the advice and it makes good sense. Yes, at first, both Hubby and myself were very hungry late at nite but now I think we mostly ignore that 'hunger signal', ha! Thanks for reminding me about the no-caffeine in the evenings rule in order to sleep better. As for people, HOP, ALWAYS be on guard...ALWAYS. Some people 'clicks' are like silent 'gangs' with cruel or at the very least, non-empathetic intentions toward others who are not part of their clicks. And just because someone acts friendly to your face does not mean they are your friend as I am sure you know. But still, at the same time, we are to do unto others as we would have them to do unto us, which sometimes means showing others undeserved compassion who have mistreated us. Some work places are war zones. I know and I remember...altho, I am happily retired now. Have a good evening. :-)

I think people thrive off of negativity and drama. They are in such a bad place they are only happy with others are miserable. My favorite comment ever from a radio disc jockey - 'why can't people be happy that I'm happy?" Yes...why?

Continue to work hard at your goals and don't sweat the crap at work. Do your thing girlie...

around a healthy 700 before lunch. whenever i eat a banana calories are higher, but potassium is important!. 

Healthy Lunch: 1 egg 80, 1.5 pieces matzah cracker 170, big veg salad with some dressing 200?, leftover brussel sprouts small amount 100 tops in oil, 550 tops.

1250 after lunch.

before gym: cookie and drink 100 no caffeine just a flavored no cal drink. - my new thing in order to sleep better at night, i must fix this habit before academy.

1350 before gym...but getting hungry :/ at 3pm but won't give into stupid extra cookie habit.

after gym chose to indulge 550. protein cookie...plus ice cream.

1900, excellent.

I am working in a backstabbing company. blows.  some people would rather be witches. i'll never, ever understand the point of bullying, hate, and awful people like the ones that tried to get me out of this company. it hurts me to see the evil some people possess. sorry, but i'll speak my mind here.

Thanks J-Donk....lately i have gone back slightly to having more caffeine, but limiting it in afternoon and i've been sleeping better than ever! Even on gym days, i'm dialing back my caffeine and instead of a caffeine drink, i drink a flavored drink that doesn't have any. so, i still have my snack of a granola bar / fiber one bar and a drink, but the drink doesn't have caffeine. the reward is a full night's sleep even on gym days :-)

eating, i will not let the habits come back to full out bingeing like i used to a long time ago - i like my smaller body that tends to fit nicely into clothes....

i am sad to have to dial back my weights routines on weekend - bc i need to jog....i have decided it's better to dial back my socialization even more, before only going to gym 2 days instead of 3. ...

it's becoming hard to fit in the jogging alongside weights routines. a bit much. but i can socialize less right now...the important thing for me is jogging.

sorry i've just had to start thinking about scheduling these new habits.

i'm reading more on success and stuff and habits and the book suggested it's not the goal that your getting to that's important but of course the PROCESS and that we must schedule.

so for scheduling the jogging, i took looked at my big desk calendar and scheduled 1day only per week of jogging this month. June will have 2days per week. and July will have 2-3 days per week of jogging and always the length of my walk/jog will stay at 2miles. August also will be 2-3 days a week.

Then, sept-december i'll change mileage only slightly up to only 3miles. No more. I have no desire to ever run more than 3miles. and only up to 3x week.

this is how i scheduled my goals.

this is what the article showed me. if i didn't read the article, i wouldn't have come up with that plan above and schedule for jogging. i have faith in myself.

article also said, along now with a new book, to have confidence in your decisions that you make.

I have a very tight schedule and very stressful week to be extra careful of my actions. trust me. not simple as it seems. 

6am Home: kombucha and banana 160

8am Work: coffee 50, wrap 100, pb 200, honey 50 400.

noon snack: Almonds 140

2pm lunch: Turkey burger 100, Brussels roasted 200, potato 250 1300 Cookie 120 1420 before gym

5pm snack on way to NEW & only gym closest to me (10 min or less)

8pm after gym: 480

1900 total, excellent !


like i said previously, my workplace is not a healthy atmosphere. people are concerned for their jobs and everyone is making an effort to keep their jobs. lots of layoffs. lots of issues. too many people in upper management. too many workers also.

life has turned to everything being more precise. learning and keeping things efficient in my days and effective. ... life turning to more regimented routines of showing up at work even earlier, before 8am, to know what is going on & stay on the tips of my toes.

thank you Maria - yeah...these next 6 months are going to be about creating and perfecting a routine that gets me into running fully :-)

I will have to do less weights to fit in running...i'm currently working out what i need to do.

and for work, i'm also figuring out how to be less stressed there. and have less issues at work by being early, etc., so i see what's going on around me more often.

1250 after snack bar...

healthy dinner: little bit of leftover chipotle pulled pork: 150?, mushrooms 50, roasted brussel sprouts bc of oil - 200?, roasted potatoes  big serving 300-350?, 750 and small plum 50. 800.

The thing i've been doing well is sleeping, i have been getting mentally extremely exhausted bc of the work stress and stuff. It's caused me to sleep around 10 hours per night at least, without any sleeping pills. my body is seriously exhausted over thinking about this work stress.

High stress week. have to behave like an angel, but even better. prob shouldn't even log in here, but i am.

WORKED HOUR OVERTIME - NO EXTRA PAY. its ok - glad to have a job as my company is in total turmoil.

the environment at my work is not healthy. people are scared / anxious to even speak to one another. I cannot hardly get outta my seat without worry. it's sad.  it's like we're back in the triangle shirt factory historical times when workers have no rights except to shut up and work.

it's horrible. even the bosses walk around angry...i'm thinking of one in particular - he never smiles, lol. and his face is always red and flushed, lol.

Big dinner at chipotle healthy stuff big portions 600? And chips 300?

Yesterday My training at park was good. I ran/walked 2mi. I'll keep doing this couple times per week and I am thinking to reduce weights right now to 2 days / week actually. Yes. I'll keep my weekly weights of Tuesday and Wednesday and concentrate on jogging practice on the weekends and try for other days during week to at least walk like one day during the work week. In total, 4 days exercise per week with 2 weights and 2 cardio.

That's my limits of what I know I can handle for now. I'm confident I can do this type of training schedule.

going to park for my 2nd ever jogging training with walking. gym is going to be skipped this weekend on purpose.  i am taking a much needed rest - and choosing the park over the gym instead of jogging / walking and gym.

I need the rest....need to feel good after a very, very difficult week, again. 

 i went by a bank that was open to desposit a large refund check that couldn't be done digitally (had to be done in person at bank) and then i went to pay for a new gym in full that is close to home because i am no longer, stopping cold, going to any gyms by work because i want nothing bad associated with me - i used to park in work parking lot in evening, i was allowed, and went to gym near work but now i'm afraid to call any attention at all to myself. so, instead of having my 1 gym near work, i've chosen to go to only (1) gym and it to be close to myself. I also indulged in my choice of gym and chose the most expensive and closest one to where i live.  I needed a break from the one that was 15-20 away (that one's price was around $380) and now go to one that is only 10min away with great parking options around. 

I needed a break. I needed something new and fresh - and the was in a gym. I paid on a credit card, $575 and will have to pay it back.  with no other money problems currently, it should be ok.  Plus, i have access to 3 gyms (this new gym $575 has 3 locations), one being near where I might be working starting January (NYPD) which is the goal because after Jan I'm out of the running - application expires.

The gym by work was only going to be less than $200 per year, a Blink Fitness.  but, like i said, i don't want to do anything (including going to a gym) near my work. I am simply looking to leave work ASAP every day. and not leave my car in the work parking lot after hours. nobody told me to stop, but i am on my own stopping with gyms by work. so, expensive gym here i come.

Took your advice about roasting veggies. Made them tonight for supper and, WOW, they were terrific! I took a 9x13 pan and added some frozen Asparagus Spears, a large coarsely chopped Vadalia Onion, 3 minced cloves Garlic, and tossed it all with 2 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil and seasoned it with Garlic Herb Seasoning Mix. I moved the sweet potatoes to the top layer and baked it in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Then I moved the veggies to the side and placed 2 small Flounder fillets, seasoned with a little salt and Old Bay, in the dish and put it back in the oven for 10 more minutes. It was fabulous and very reasonable in calories! THANK YOU for the suggestion

Roasted veg are my favorite way to prep them - and thank you for the recipe and good ideas you left me in this comment - I will take a screen shot photo of your comment above so I can make something similar - good ideas thank you very much !!!! :-) veg are way low cal and the perfect way to fill up on less cal! You won't ever go hungry :-)

(I sent you a PM on FB.) I like your approach to a new gym. I can totally see why you'd want to keep Work separated from EVERYTHING, and especially your Gym time.

I'm reading "expensive" to mean "fancy" or "bells and whistles" which is really nice to have for yourself.

I will def read your fb messages later today - once again I am taking time away from fb bc of everything going on I am def a little anxious to say the wrong things in every area of my life including fb...

The expensive gym actually has NO amenities aside from a sauna! And it's small and I am not even going to use it - never did but maybe I'll start - prob not.

There are no gyms in my community so they charge high rates. No amenities but equipment is new and nice as they just renovated it last year. It is nice the gym is only 10 minutes away :-)

It's good for now - but no amenities and can u believe it's $600/year!?

I will read your fb comments. I've been feeling quite anxious regarding work lately. I am trying to relax and take a breather instead of opening my mouth. It will be a challenging week bc the person I am assigned to assist specifically told me he doesn't want to be in charge of any projects ! And he hasn't been directing which is why I opened my mouth Friday.

Me and him have a project due and our boss is on vacation this week in Turks &Caicos ! And the other boss is headed for vaca on Wednesday with our project due Friday. We will prob have to rush to finish it now by Wednesday but I do not think the person I assist is at all capable of steering this project correctly. I will only work under him anyways and not direct anyone else. But this week I still def headed for disaster.

I think my boss wants to fire the person I am to assist. I also think my boss didn't want me at my job this coming week for the specific reason that he wants a staff where the full staff is capable of finishing projects on their own - not people like me who can only assist and people like the guy I need to assist but he isn't capable of directing (he has some social issues / anxiety stuff). So bc out sept is rather small, smallest it's been in 7 years since I have been here, the boss wants only people he can give a project to and not expect them to ask him any questions. He doesn't want to administrate he wants us to get the work done and not need to deligate. I do understand and realize the dept is not where I want to be for the long run as the atmosphere has changed and the boss' desires are diff from the previous boss.. no longer does the current boss want helpers like me. He wants only seasoned pro's who can do the whole thing on their own. It makes sense with the climate of my office and industry and another reason for me to keep my personal focus on the jogging and you know what for January. My workplace is like a war zone each week.

busy day in office, which was good, no troubles for me...! just very busy, finally?!

2140 6-day average...sorta high but not so terrible. I will plan to eat lower cals this coming week.

3pm snack crunchy choc chip cookie fiber one so tasty!!!!



2150 total for Wednesday.

5day average: 2170, higher than usual, but weight is staying in range for now. i will need to watch cals though, as i'm not ready to be having cals this high every week.

also, they also have chewy choc chip which are WAYYYY better...i always like something chewy - and less messy than the crumbs from crunchy....only 120 cal for a large cookie....so tasty tastes really, really good! you'll see!!!!!!!!!!

Work bar was a very healthy natural bar. lazy to make breakfast. expensive like $5 bar!!! it's called Gary-Null CoCo Magic Bar. high fat, some protein, some carbs. takes away appetite really well, actually. change of pace and rewarded myself last friday when i picked these up...after a month and a half of work BS...i have been treating myself really well buying those bars and kombucha instead of ACV in seltzer drinks in AM. :-)

Work has been good all week so far. I don't expect it to go downhill this week, at all.

I did speak to my boss, the nice one,about OT and how if I do work it, I need to have it pre-approved (and i don't plan to work it unless it's an emergency). hardly anyone, on their own free will, will give extra work with no extra pay. that's stupid.  NOBODY in their right mind is going to waste extra time at work for NO PAY. so if they want me working late, i'll ask if i will be paid for it when they ask me to stay late.

after 1.5mo of b-****, work has settled down for me in terms of the b-**** thank gosh! i'm a happy lady.

Progress as of today: 2 lbs lost so far, only 3 lbs to go!
