(counting calories/walking/elliptical/weights)
Weight: 114.0

Weekly average cals is pretty darn awesome - 2000 per day which is quite good and i def burn that off plus a little more i'd say. a good week to keep me going forward with weight loss...same goal for the upcoming week ...

- actually, i'll make my goal for below 2000 cal for the week - because it's a short week for me, Monday I have off...and Tuesday i actually sleep in - because i have to go to a training at 9 so i'm not appearing at work at 7am...so it's like i have a 9am start on Tuesday...which is a great week sleep-wise and i guess stress-wise!   :)

lunch tbd 750 sorta large included corned beef, cabbage and potato and tasted AMAZING...and then coffee with milk

dinner: leftovers at home - some corn chips 150, wrap 80, tofu 150, tomato sauce 40, sweet fresh peppers 60: 500 tops

going out soon after a nap i'd like to take for a little bit to see boxing matches...it starts around 7pm...so now it's 6 and trying to take a 20 min or so nap...

calories approx 2050 :) a GREAT week! moderate every single day!

free bagels and pastries at work today for breakfast - wasn't even intrigued AT ALL! because i was happy to wake up feeling thinner and jeans fitting better...after working hard to cut cals and be more moderate for these couple weeks it's starting to pay off....no reason to Wreck it!!!!!! doing much better these days.

weightwise and exercise-wise, it was a GREAT week.  otherwise, my goal is to think more positively and increase my drive to learn estimating.  i'll still say that exercise remains a force in my life that i'm driven to do & i do enjoy the benefits to keeping calories in check and visiting the gym...and starting this weekend i'll be aiming to get a jog/walk in twice a week now....

after work i might attend a boxing match(es) held at the union as a sporting event...near where i live...starts at 7pm so i might go home and even nap before it, lol, not sure...

Progress as of today: 3 lbs lost so far, only 2 lbs to go!

bearcountrygg on 03/16/2018:
Exercise is a great Health/Hobby/Passtime, endeavor...we should all do a lot more of it ( speaking especially for myself here).........you shouldn't have to explain or appologise for loving to work out......it's a wonderful thing to love doing....you are so fortunate that you enjoy it...many of us don't enjoy it much and wish that we did....we would be better off if we did. I say exercise and keep talking to us ( me) about it....I probably would not have just ordered an exercycle if it hadn't been for this group.....you guys got me to want to start moving again....and I heartily thank you all for that!!!!!!! Go and do what you love......I read everything you write and I draw energy from it all......

Horn_of_plenty on 03/17/2018:
thank you so much xo

bearcountrygg on 03/16/2018:
My Mom used to tell the story about going to a boxing match and sitting in the front row and getting hit by sweat>>>>>>Maybe not sit in the front row...LOL

Horn_of_plenty on 03/17/2018:
i was close enough to hear the hits of the boxing gloves but def far from the sweat! and boy do they sweat!

graindart on 03/16/2018:
Looking forward to my corned beef / cabbage / potato dinner with friends tomorrow night. Good job on a successful full week.

Horn_of_plenty on 03/17/2018:
It's pretty healthy if you take moderate portions of the beef and potato and eat lots of that silky cabbage....i should learn to cook it like that in a crock pot or just low simmer i guess on the stove!

Progress as of today: 3 lbs lost so far, only 2 lbs to go!

bearcountrygg on 03/15/2018:
I'm having a real desire to use stuff up...especially lately.....wasting things is like throwing money away...funny...it just made me think....overeating is wasting money too!!!! Good for you not buying too much....

horn_of_plenty on 03/15/2018:
yes, it's not a nice feeling to throw things out. I felt bad using disposable coffee cups each day at work so i'm back to using my own ceramic mug. i still have to clean it and waste a paper towel or two but i think it's better than throwing out an entire cup. and i think they're styrofoam which is no good. same with water, i'm back to filling my own cup which i can wash, i guess i can wash it weekly is good enough :)

i still want to train for the court officer job, despite having a well-paying job now.  most people wouldn't think this way. it just seems that fitness and desk work don't combine. and that it's a struggle these days to work out at all...i realize my thinking is messed up.

I don't think I had the Banana...

Calories are excellent today at 1800! Doing better now !

Weekly avg: 2000 - excellent

Progress as of today: 3 lbs lost so far, only 2 lbs to go!

Donkey on 03/14/2018:
Hi there - looks like the day is off to a fine start :-)

I don't think your thinking is messed up. Keep training! Just try not to waste energy feeling "angry" while sitting at your desk, LOL. While I totally get the Desk Job Wah-Wah's, the anger will not serve you well. Perhaps try to re-channel the anger/frustration into excitement for your workouts at least for now :-)

horn_of_plenty on 03/15/2018:
:-) better start for today :) ty for all the advice - even if it goes against anything i write, it's best i hear it.

bearcountrygg on 03/14/2018:
I used to love my desk job...the thing I really hated was when I had to share my desk with another person...now that was annoying...2 people with chairs side by side working at a 1 person desk!!!! See...you have it better already!

horn_of_plenty on 03/15/2018:
that is annoying - no personal space! :)

i have a whole office to share with one person (small office, but we def have our own personal space! ;)

bearcountrygg on 03/15/2018:
Nope...no personal space at all...we did agree to each have 1 drawer of our own...and we honored that agreement...but we were bumping elbows all day...luckily we were both a lot smaller then..LOL

Weight: 114.0

overall Tuesday 2050. weekly avg 2050. i do feel thinner already..i have about 3-4lbs to lose and keep off to keep clothes fitting better.

300 thru mid morning

Mid morning wrap: not more than 250 or so., later a banana

Lunch: TBD :) sorta big yes. it had tasty light radish and cucumber salad 150, a bit too much veggie dumplings 350? i hope not more...?, and shrimp 150? 650 - i doubt more but i am too full and tired. still gotta work on portions.

snack: clementine...before going home :) 50

1400 before dinner....

Dinner: out somewhere takeout, before my class...probably miso soup and sushi ...i may just have a snack and no dinner tho...very full from lunch!

Earlyish to bed after class, hope to stick with my plans of working out on Wednesday which will happen if i catch up a bit on some sleep tonight.

Today was rough getting up - went to bed sorta late / got home sorta late from gym last night.

When i sit at work, all day i'm "angry." I probably need to just shut my head up and learn this as I do make decent money now...but for some reason i still look at the court officer career even though the pay is quite mediocre for life. I wouldn't lose my apt or anything but i wouldn't enjoy much luxury once i ever retire....but for some reason, i still want it, and there is room to grow in that position, if i were to rise to the occasion. It's still a goal of mine to train cardio for it....really it's sorta stupid, but, i think i still want to go for the other job (keep training) even though i have something now which is very good - for some reason, i just can't be happy...maybe it's a problem with my brain i don't know why i can't just be happy to learn this. i just don't know. it just makes me mad....i should, if i were smart, forget about the court officer job - and it would be a pay drop - and i'm not even fit enough now...i'm going to keep training for it...even though i'm so under par in fitness for their test as they provided what the fitness test is so i can train for it....for some reason it still intrigues me. despite the really low pay for several years...will i be sorry when i reach 70 years old??????????????

Progress as of today: 3 lbs lost so far, only 2 lbs to go!

Donkey on 03/13/2018:
I hope your class goes well... Do you feel this "angry" feeling during your class too? Or just when you are at work?

I remember BearCountry mentioning something to you about focusing on being happy with where you're at, with what you got - and I thought that was very good advice. Not that I don't believe in chasing your dreams, but ... well, I just think that you can satisfy your need for something physical-fitness related in a better way -- meaning something that you won't have to sacrifice the job - and good benefits it comes with - and still find a path that makes you happy.

If I may, I would like to offer this, gently: I think that you are still healing from the NYPD situation, and that it may be where some of these feelings of "angry" or frustration (my word) are coming from. Kind of like breaking up with someone you really loved, and then sleeping with the next guy/gal to fill that emptiness of loss. Not that you would do that, but as an analogy of what's going on with you internally. I would encourage you to give yourself more time to heal emotionally from the disappointment, continue to train for what YOUR goals are, and then see if you're getting closer to what the court job would require, or not.

It may not be your mind that makes the court-officer decision for you, after all... Food for thought.

horn_of_plenty on 03/14/2018:
no, i feel less angry in class bc the teacher is good so it's not a bad class. the class applies to what i'm doing, so it's beneficial. it's a very beginner class though. and i'm a beginner estimator still...

i know technology will change tons even in like 10yrs and that this estimating will change with the technology.

i know court officer job will not change as much...

eh, i'll keep training for the court officer...and keep working on estimating now.

horn_of_plenty on 03/14/2018:
your advice is good, thank you. it should be an easy decision for me to stick with estimating - but it's not.

everyday i wake up stiff and tired and each time i go to the gym it's harder and harder. probably no job change can help it - it's probably just life...i prob just need to stick with estimating though i have a feeling the technology will change greatly and then i'll have to study to learn the new technology...eh, i'll just be happy now as you say.

happy-1 on 03/14/2018:
Hugs. I know that feeling of sitting and being angry... It turns on you and then shows up in your work and your relationships and then you are sitting where I am now. I dunno if therapy helped. I'm hoping DA does.

Weight: 114.0

weekend avg: 2050 - EXCELLENT.

(good morning! 9am...would have been 8am but daylight savings!)

9am breakfast: had whatever i wanted - cereal and banana with almond milk 350, chocolate muffin 200. 550. and kombucha 50. 600. lots of carbs breakfast...so it doesn't satisfy for long...i was starving by 11:30.

...man after i have one muffin, i want another! but that would be stupid right!? off to shower and do laundry...

Snack: roasted sea salt almonds 200, carrots

12:30 since ricky is now definitely coming over "after lunch," i decided to have a bigger lunch at home...

Lunch: McCain's fries approx 2+ servings 400, very firm tofu 150, wrap 60, tomato sauce 40. total here: 650. fine. i should be full for awhile...not planning on too many snacks this afternoon - maybe just a coffee while we watch a movie later.

1500 after filling lunch. goal today is 2050 cals again...which is doable if i stick to small snacks for the rest of the afternoon and go to bed early (which will be EASY for me!)...

big orange 100

light dinner: new flavor of the light ice cream but not that good, so won't buy again. Halo Top Carmael Macchiato. 400. and a piece of lox while preparing some breakfasts for 4 of the 5 days this week i've already prepped. should be easier mornings now!

2050 today. good. still not the greatest eating, tho within range. and i look closely, i got in 2 fruits, and even 2 veggies with both the carrots and the tomato sauce, healthy almonds, decent tofu...so, it wasn't a wasted day overall in terms of calories :)

Dinners for the upcoming week: and i even roasted some potatoes....looking to eat dinner at home and not be eating takeaway every night this week :) i have raw peppers along with roasted eggplant (just a little bit bc it didn't look good when i cut it open) and tons of roasted potato.  for protein, i have a couple turkey burgers and also tofu..

Progress as of today: 3 lbs lost so far, only 2 lbs to go!

Donkey on 03/11/2018:
Best to get your day started. You can have another muffin later for a dessert or save it for tomorrow.

Horn_of_plenty on 03/11/2018:
YES... :) thank you :)

Horn_of_plenty on 03/11/2018:
seems i'm on a junk food kick. it doesn't satisfy though at all!

jayhawkjen on 03/11/2018:

Horn_of_plenty on 03/11/2018:
THANKS JAY...i'm looking to do better and better one again...trying to be more moderate :) and not eat like i'm a marathon runner :) ty ty!

graindart on 03/12/2018:
Eating simple carbs always gets me craving more carbs. Doesn't really happen when I eat mainly protein and vegetables. I rarely have a craving for veggies, especially after just eating them. But give me one cookie, and I want to eat the entire box (even when I'm uncomfortably full and they don't even taste good).

horn_of_plenty on 03/12/2018:
Yeah Same .... for some reason lately I am eager to try to eat some fast carbs and balance them with veggies - I guess I am bored of trying to only choose the "healthy" ....but yeah they have the same effect on me as they do you

horn_of_plenty - Saturday Mar 10, 2018
(counting calories/walking/elliptical/weights)
Weight: 114.0

I had a nice long sleep :) 8am Breakfast: warmed strawberries 100, choc muffin I made last week with heavy peanut butter on top 400. And kombucha 50. 550 and soon to exercise cardio for the day after I do some reading.

10am light ice cream finished the one I sampled yesterday 150 ... and sweet potato chips I admit to emotional eating which will stop now 120 and one chocolate 50 870 thru 1pm

Also walked and jogged total of 2 miles walking half jogging half.

1pm-1:30pm Lunch: half turkey burger 100, 2 large orange peppers 100?, McCains Fries 2 servings - I need a food scale since the list servings by weight I just estimated by the package size and servings 400 cal.

I very full after lunch and fell asleep for two hours on the couch....story of my life for this Winter is sleep, sleep & more sleep...woke up really tired and out of it. Cleaned the hamster cage and then had a snack and now i'm heading out to gym now around 5pm...going late today bc i was there late Thursday eve so this is 48hrs later....

Snack before gym: 1/2 container blackberries 60 and another of my chocolate muffins 200. total 260.

1750 before gym...

After gym: i think it'd be best to have something light after gym...seriously thinking to have popcorn and egg whites....yes...

today wasn't the best in types of food, but the calories will work out...my goal is for 2050 cal...that would be it if i can stick with 300 cal after gym :)

total today is AWESOME, 2050 :)

so today good things:

did cardio, will do gym, cleaned hamster cage, and calories are good

not so great things - starting to wonder if it's such a bad thing being lazy on the weekend...? :

lots of sugar eating, napping (but i didn't really have any other plans anyways?)

Progress as of today: 3 lbs lost so far, only 2 lbs to go!

Donkey on 03/10/2018:
I highly recommend a food scale -- get a digital one if you can. Also, get one that can measure in both ounces and grams. This helped me a lot a few summers ago. I need a new scale too, because I wore out my old one.

I applaud you for being honest with the emotional eating. This happens to me when I have unstructured time, which is why I need to keep busy on the weekends. It doesn't have to be over busy, but I need a task or two to do to help me structure my time.

Very good on the run/walk - keep up your training. It will pay off.

Beware that the time change may mess with your eating tomorrow as well. Not saying it will, but just sayin'.... Ugh, do you have storms tomorrow too? I hope not. They're saying that this third wave is probably not going to be too bad.

Horn_of_plenty on 03/11/2018:
no storms for us...i hope any storms coming your way were very minor!?

thank you on the run / walk...i am eager to be getting back outside with the nice turn of the weather as well as the clocks :)

and you say it best about the structured time...i did much better this weekend than the others, so that is good. i do good with some structure also...

Maria7 on 03/10/2018:
Looks like you had a good day. 2 miles walking is fantastic!

Weight: 112.0

Home kombucha 50.

Breakfast 1: pb toast crackers 200, coffee 100 (lots of milk today). 300

Mid Morning: wrap 100, pepperoni 60, egg and ketchup 100. 250.

Morning Snacks Banana 120, clementine 30

12:30 Lunch: from home (maybe it's too low in fat..?) - wrap and turkey burger 300, veggies 100. 400 total. and granola bar 100 cal- lunch was too light.

4pm one chocolate bc i went walking and not strait home - instead i walked straight to my car and drove to the park - just around a mile, but nice to do. then went by the supermarket...50 cal

1300 before dinner

7pm Dinner: something from fridge already at home: i'm thinking oven fries 300, orange peppers 100, and tofu 150. 550

Dinner happened after my trip to the supermarket where i found all sorts of new products - REALLY - that i never tried, so of course i ate them at dinner! Dinner was late, 7pm,  which is how i sometimes like it bc i do not need snacks afterwards.

2 extra large eggs 200, sweet potato chips 1 serving 120, mashed cauliflower seasoned by Bird's Eye (pretty darn good!) (basically all 3 servings) 150, new halo top flavor ice cream 150. 650 approx.

1950 today. bc of some lighter foods. i am surprised i stayed within range...gotta say, it's easy when you have a huge assortment of lighter style things...that taste good!

Snacking at night: microwaved strawberries with stevia added if i need to snack.

total today is not more than 1900-1950, Making this week another great one.

Weekly avg is still around 2050, good.

I am debating a low calorie day on Sunday, like, 1500 cals.

Also, i'm modifying my plan...it's to simply be more mindful of calories: not overindulge without making sure calories are ok for the day. To keep calories around 1900's...but allowing myself to veer off my "menu" since i find it too strict to follow a total set plan for the day anymore.

Progress as of today: 5 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!

Maria7 on 03/09/2018:
Hope you have a good day, HOP.

horn_of_plenty on 03/09/2018:

bearcountrygg on 03/09/2018:
Higher days and lower days really do get the metabolism a shake up.

horn_of_plenty on 03/09/2018:
i agree it works to have an overall balance and that high and low is good / normal for calories :)

i know i need to bring my calorie totals a hair down...will be going next week for an attempt at 1900s overall avg for the week.

horn_of_plenty on 03/09/2018:
when i was jogging and doing cardio, the weight fell off. ..and now, well, i'm just getting into that again!

trishpiglet3 on 03/09/2018:
I've definitely done better on days when I eat more earlier in the day. Looks like you're doing great. I don't know what Kombucha is so I'm going to go Google it now :)

horn_of_plenty on 03/10/2018:
I do the opposite - when I eat too much prior to lunch - well too many carbs - I find it hard to stay on track for the rest of the day...

But I do need breakfast also and frequent snacks to do well so I have to eat just not overeat early in day :-)

Weight: 112.0

Home: kombucha 30

7am Breakfast: light coffee with milk 70, pb keebler crackers 200

3pm Snack: banana 120 (had this at 9am)

9:30am Mid Morning: 1 egg 100, pepperoni 60, ketchup 20, on a wrap 120: 300.

Noon Lunch: my own prepared turkey burger from last night (i made them) 180 on a wrap 120 with mustard 300. and buying veggies from across street to eat with it.250. 550...well didn't fully stick to the plan bc i did get the veggies, but they had a rice noodle wrap which is def lighter than my sandwich anyways, then i made another coffee after lunch. calories i'd say are equal or less. tomorrow i think i shall bring my entire lunch...cutting up an orange pepper i think as the veggie. along with the sandwich i have in the fridge. But I am def sticking to my planned dinner which is a wrap with veggies on the side. ...i am happy to do better today. It will be a good day by the time it's done, food-wise.

Dinner before gym: the tuna salad my friend gave me on a wrap! i'm thinking! 350 tops and perhaps some veggies that i cut up at my apt. 50. 400! Dinner was amazing ...the tuna salad that my friend made was excellent. and toasted up nice in a wrap. tons of veggies including a whole orange pepper and some of that veggie that tastes like licorice...gym soon :) I'm so glad to have stuck with it...looking forward to a good gym session...

After gym: microwaved strawberries (yes gonna warm them and it will be a rather large portion) 100 in a flavored greek yogurt 150. 250 tops.

1950 - TOPS - might as well stick to this awesome menu today. good calories, that's for sure. no overdoing. just gotta stick with the plan :) Gonna start meal planning again...yes.

6day avg: 2050 - good...and tomorrow i'll also plan so that my total avg goes down a bit more.

Progress as of today: 5 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!

bearcountrygg on 03/08/2018:
I'm doing the same....I set mine up to be boring...so that I can forget about food...the more I think about it the more I eat....

horn_of_plenty on 03/08/2018:
yes, i have the same mindset. i'm trying to definitely lose a few pounds right now. and i'm done being "stupid" about it. All I have to do is stick with my plan...and i think i'm ready to do that. I think a lot of my excitement over having everything in the world to eat everyday is wearing off...and that i am more interested in a plan of action and following it - so the new dress pants that i bought actually fit - they are very tight all of a sudden - the size i was wearing comfortably a couple months ago...I do prefer that smaller size than to wear the next size up.

In general, I will be planning my meals - and if I am really smart, i'll do better on the weekends too which has been my downfall in general - like you said - whatever's in the house is fair game. I haven't been eating loads of chocolate anymore, thankfully that has worn off due to me buying less and just finishing what i have..

horn_of_plenty on 03/08/2018:
I guess i am making the choice to change. It's either let my weight continue to go up by eating more, or seriously start planning calorie menus again.

I will work on it, specifically this month as i'm doing.

If I just do nothing, my pants will soon not fit.

I love a home-made turkey burger. We have a new supermarket that has opened about half an hour's walk away and they sell low-fat turkey mince. They're also, for the first month, giving away a free gift each week if you spend more than £20 (about £27 dollars). This week it was a 1L bottle of olive oil. What do you put in your turkey burgers?

horn_of_plenty on 03/08/2018:
lately just basic garlic and pepper...but i also add cumin spice which gives them a nice flavor. i do know that adding some oil will make them tastier and softer, but i do not mind them being a bit rougher to chew...

trishpiglet3 on 03/08/2018:
That sounds really nice. I put some breadcrumbs in mine but will try the cumin next time I make them. Thank you!

Horn_of_plenty on 03/08/2018:
yes, i've found cumin to be a wonderful addition to most everything!

Donkey on 03/08/2018:
Have you tried Montreal Steak Seasoning on your burgers?

Horn_of_plenty on 03/08/2018:
no, i shall look that up!

horn_of_plenty on 03/09/2018:
lol, so it's a Canadian / Jewish / European thing...interesting :) I shall have to try it.

bearcountrygg on 03/09/2018:
cumin and turmeric....great for the joints.

(counting calories/walking/elliptical/weights)
Weight: 112.0

Good Morning.

Home: kombucha 40

Light Breakfast at work, 7am, coffee with full fat milk and stevia 80, peanut butter crackers (i want to finish my packages off - i have several more...you know, the tasty ones made by Keebler). 190.

9-9:30am snack: wrap from yesterday 120, 40, 200 = 360

11am Late snack: banana 120

800 before lunch. in the mood for 2 meat dumplings and vegetables.  when i eat the carbs and am satisfied knowing i ate what i wanted and didn't eat anything else bc i am trying to be healthy, it's easier for me to feel like i'm not denying myself anything...if that makes any sense.

lunch: 3 meat dumplings 300, tomato and cucumber salad 100, salsa 50, olives 50, bean sprouts 50.  550 total.

1350 after lunch - good

came home and had an early dinner at 3 that started as only a snack but didn't go totally out of control - pineapple yogurt with my cooked cranberries 250, turkey burger that I just cooked with ketchup and mustard on a lighter wrap 300. 550 and has protein and carbs rather than just the sugary yogurt. 1900 and possibly a small snack before bed - or I may stick with the 1900 total and bed early again.

Grand total today is 2100 and wil go to bed as soon as a finish stapling some paper drawings (work) together that I brought home bc I am working like a snail and wanted to have it done before I go to work tomorrow - I brought them home to do...

Weekly avg is 2070 per day Decided on possibly no exercise today - prob no stairs but we shall see.

Plan is gym after work if roads are ok - otherwise i'm switching it up for tomorrow. Yes, most likely i'm going straight home tonight - to cook turkey burgers and eat a nice healthy dinner.....GYM TOMORROW because forecast is 100% snow all afternoon and evening = not good to be on roads or cleaning car that's safely in my garage now! so yeah, gym tomorrow!

We do have work today, not a snow day, woke up to rain so far. Glad i went to bad early & also without eating any more last night.. Def have gained around 5 lbs and although i still look ok, i am aware that i need to reigning in my calories - i'm thinking maybe it's because i also stopped running? But most probably it's just due to eating higher averages over a period of many weeks...

...like everyone here, weight goes up and down and now i'm going to have to level things off once again so that my weight doesn't keep increasing. I am not going for a fad diet, just calorie counting as usual. I think if i can get several weeks around the 2000's, i will keep my weight the same. And i think if I can get my calories to the 1900's, it may decrease. Also, i had changed my weights routine at the gym - it's easier now - this must be also the reason for some of the weight gain?

Last week was my first good week in awhile, this week my goal is also for calories in the 2000's around 2050 avg...next week I may decrease my avg and try to get to a 1900's avg week.

Truthfully, the best way to watch calories is to meal plan and plan the calories for the whole day so i see what the avg is before the day even starts and there's no guessing or chance of failure...i may start doing this again - to plan out my 1800 cal days and just have success all around...weekends can especially be improved upon :) i think weekends have been a major part of my weight gain.

with my job now - dad tells me to try to learn what i can as long as i have this job...and to worry less.

i still tend to need very long hours of sleep to feel ok. Last night i prob got around 7 hours, not enough still...i guess i am still getting used to getting out of my apt on time and a slightly earlier wake-up.

On a positive note, I was on time to work, over 5min early, before almost everyone. Hallway was still dark at work on my floor...def better for me to take the 6:08am bus :) and stay away from the 6:15am bus! Those 7 minutes make a huge difference between late to work and on time :)

my skin is clear except for one huge pimply spot that i made a mess of moreso, by popping and squeezing it. very big and red, tried covering with makeup - should have left it alone!  i have a hard time leaving pimples alone when they literally bother me because of the swelling, but, perahaps i should refrain from picking / popping. it looks really bad. makeup is just covering the bloody red part, you can still see it totally and makeup is very caked on in that spot. GROSS. The rest of my face is GREAT. Has to do with hormones (the one messed up spot) and me messing with my face. - next time, no matter how deep the pimple is and how annoying it is, i vow not to mess with it....bc i seriously made this much worse than it should be. i should know better by now.

Progress as of today: 5 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!

bearcountrygg on 03/07/2018:
Sounds like great planning...I have also made some plans up today that I know will make it all easier for me. The snow came through here yesterday and we have about a foot...a little less in spots....it is a bright day today...so you are definitely better off staying home tonight. Your Dad sounds like a wise man. Weight fluctuates.....but you don't have much to lose...I swear....if it's in the house it is fair game...I'm thinking I may have to reward myself with a non food item if I don't buy anything that I shouldn't have.

bearcountrygg on 03/07/2018:
If you think your kombucha works...have you ever had chia seeds???????/OMG!!!! I have a 2 pk of some individual cups of fruit and chia....I had one yesterday and spent the night in the bathroom.......LOL

trishpiglet3 on 03/07/2018:
Good luck with all of this. Another vote for your dad sounding like a wise man. Sleep is very healing... I think a lot of us don't sleep enough xxx

Maria7 on 03/07/2018:
Hope you have a good day. :-)
