Had a really late breakfast of oatmeal that I didn't finish 50 with dried fruit and nuts 250? And a thigh Icelandic yogurt 150 - still with parents gonna go home soon after lunch Back to my apt.. 450 I guess it's good I didn't stuff the rest of the oatmeal down my throat ....

Had a piece of dark chocolate 50


Lunch around 500

Snacks before dinner: fruit 200 at most

Dinner: veg salad with small with olive oil 100, also chickpeas 150, wanton soup sorta big size and very large wantons all noodle and small amount fried noodles 700?

Total today is fine, 1900.

3day average: 2130 per day excellent


Washing the bedding and stuff I used while sleeping at parents ...

Still had a little bit of night sweats last night

Your welcome ! If not hungry have a taste of chocolate. - maybe small individually wrapped 1-2 Pieces that are only like 60 cal each and have with tea herbal or selzter ?? Or some berries or a fruit ....and something to drink - as a preference I sometimes prefer the chocolate to satisfy me lately

Yeah... see if you can go back today, get them to do a fluid test on what you cough up and a culture. Pneumonia can spread to other organs. Not just a fluid/vitamin thing.

Night sweats tell me that your body is still fighting something very hard --probably burning up a lot of calories too.

Do you have the holiday off tomorrow? That would be nice, to have an extra day to heal. Don't go to work until you are better!

Was getting extremely dizzy in shower so called parents and dad came to pick me up this morning and now I'll be at my parents house for the weekend - just wanting to sleep and lay in bed right now.

Had the night sweats soaking my clothes twice last night so maybe I was dehydrated from it all?

I'm glad you won't be alone this weekend. I'm guessing dehydration -- and that your body is working hard to fight the bronchitis.

I hope that someone will take care of Hammy while you're gone. Probably just as well, as you don't want to get him sick as well.

Take care of yourself -- do what you have to do to get better. Everything else can wait.

From what I know night sweats are actually a fever and fever is usually from infection....I'm also glad you aren't alone.....you may be running a fever and just because pneumonia didn't show up on the xrays does not mean you don't have it...it may have been in the very early stages......keep hydrating.

Just resting and sleeping lots right now - very low energy.

I know I'll be fine :) just I guess I was pushing myself too much - the gym i guess next time when I have a cough I'll stay out of the gym till I'm all better completely - but I am surstill this had to do with the change of commute and walking in the freezing cold air breathing it in first thing in the morning for at least 10 min everyday- looking forward to getting fully better ....and I guess taking it easy this winter unless I want to be getting bronchitis a second time ... ah well.

It's good I have nobody to look after here at home bc all I am doing is eating and sleeping ....

Gym routine is gonna have to be adjusted this winter bc for some reason it's become too much with my new commute.

Have you heard about co-living? It's a thing here in CA due to high property taxes and commute times. Basically it is rooms rented like apartments and then shared catered dinners for less than an apartment, or about the same but a little more community. https://www.common.com

I had to stay at the hospital EMER room which takes a long time for doctors / nurses to see patients. So, it took like 6 hours.  I was literally laying on a cot for like 4.5 hours and when i did have to leave i got dizzy for a brief second again...but i sat down and it passed...

i was diagnosed in the end with Bronchitis, which is like a virus, i am not taking any antibiotics but a mix of something with robitussen. I'm def staying home from work tomorrow as i have little energy...and i will lay low all weekend until i feel better...i have dr appts on Monday....for dermatologist for a thing for my sweating a lot on underarms, i have a dentist appt, and one more. hopefully i'll feel a bit better by Monday.

Def low energy over here and need to stay home and sleep / relax.

I got very run down which is why i eventually got bronchitis.


Fainted at dr so there's a manatory trip to hospital taken by ambulance dad came by and mom is with Me which was so nice of her.....

Been at hospital taking all tests including urine, X-ray and blood work. Been here so far just under SIX  Hours... ---------

Middle of night: banana to calm stomach - need to purchase bananas today 120 Am: kombucha while cleaning hamster cage bc I had put that off since Monday no worries it's fine and works to do it every 1.5 weeks instead of every week so I'll keep this schedule of cleaning. 70 THE KOMBUCHA MAY HAVE AFFECTED HOW HYDRATED I WAS, MAKING ME LESS HYDRATED..

10am light breakfast peanut butter 130 or so on top of a soft fiber one chocolate chip cookie (AGAIN A LOT OF FIBER MESSING WITH MY HYDRATION) 120 250 total 450,

good just relaxing today - possible trip to supermarket and then drug store if I need an rX after dr Appt .... I def feel under the weather and dizzy just a hair with body pain and cough that got a little bit worse Home sick will go to dr Last night I went to bed with chills around 8:30 and then at 10:39 I work up nauseous and a bit dizzy with bad gas .threw up mostly bile and had a rough night overall. Didn't have the energy this morning to get up and get ready for work or walk the half mile to the bus so I called in sick - dr Appt soon at 10:30am in a half hour.

OK OK I just can't stop myself here. Long ago, when I did make it to the gym, a few days after I would get a sore throat. I would chalk that up to other people's funk at the gym. So I would wait a few days to go back. Again, same thing, until eventually, I guess my body got used to being around other people's funk.

Now, I forever use hand sanitizer and lysol. I'm a germaphobe. I do this even at work and at home especially after DH prepares chicken. Just gross.

I may have to change gym routine bc my new commute and lots of walking etc is draining and gym seems way too much on top of that.

it's possible to drive - i would have to ask for special permission - yes spots are very limited....going to try to make public transportation work...it takes a LOT of getting used to after not commuting this way, EVER.

i was diagnosed with broncitis...need rest and liquids. will be home again tomorrow for sure.

def need to get better before anything else enters the picture.

meant to save my days for March - gonna be a difficult Winter because of unexpected sickness...hopefully after riding public transport for awhile, my body will get used to a more challenging commute than sitting in my car (steps, standing, walking half mile each way lately in freezing cold), and all the germs...hopefully i will get thru this - which i should :)

gym routine will need to change. it's too long and physically demanding overall.

going to need first off to get better...because in under two weeks i start that class i was speaking about each week 5-7pm...just draining after working 7:30-4...but i'll make it work. just can't think about it any more now.

after fainting, it was protocol to go to hospital from the dr office. ...

they did many tests including urine, blood work, xray...ekg...but those were ok. in the end, it was a diagnosis of bronchitis, wich is definitely not to be taken lightly and i'm glad it was diagnosed before getting even worse like pneumonia.

Our oldest son had chronic bronchitis as a child...several times a year....you will have to keep an eye on colds in the future...because they can turn into bronchitis easily.......you have had a rough winter season this year...lots of changes and decisions.....your system is most likely run down...lots of sleep and liquids will help a lot...It's great that all of your tests came back good...that's always nice to know. Now you will have 3 days to recoup....rest up and take it easy.

Yes thank gosh some time to rest and once again you are also spot on about what happened with the cough turning to bronchitis - as a kid I got it badly also but only a couple times and it seems totally due to a run down system - time to rest and must not push right now

Don't be surprised if it doesn't take you about a week to really be back "up" again. Rest, rest and repeat. Make sure you have Gatorade or my "sickie fluid" of choice--grapefruit juice (I always diluted it) or get some other juice that you know you will drink. If you're not peeing, you're starting to get dehydrated, so drink up!

I hope you get to feeling better soon--don't push yourself on Monday if you're not quite up to it. Take care H_o_P girlie!

All I'm doing is sleeping and eating bc feeling extremely tired especially after I eat I go back to bed it seems today.

I'm craving oranges and luckily I had bought clemtines and my dad gave me a large amount of navel oranges also so I am set.

Drinking herbal teas.

Was supposed to go to dentist Monday but will cancel that and also had two more appointments Bc we have that day off in observance of Martin Luther King day - will try to go to the appointments that are early in day and maybe skip dentist since it may not be great to lay back with mouth open for 30 min straight to have my teeth worked on - may try to stay off work some of next week if I need to - too bad I'm using the days I meant to save to use in March for gym - gym is taking a horrible nosedive ah well.

Thank you for the tips I have a really old Gatorade like years maybe not the best to drink that ! It's been in my fridge for years!

Can't wait for aches and pains to pass and energy to come back - ty again for writing to me !

I just don't have a desire to go back and teach, don't have a desire to do much more except try to do the work i'm given,i don't have many desires right now. i realize i may not be able to travel much more or do much of anything in life due to all of the poor choices i have made...so if i want to be a court officer, i should just keep on training with the exercise and train to the exact requirements of the physical test or i may not even get that position...so, starting this weekend, i'm starting to train exactly to the test to figure out the beep test and how to train and set up for it - so i can practice in my gym. vacations prob not again...i'm so freaked out on life you have no idea.

We'll suffice it to say it was like being in another country where the gym was located that I went to yesterday. Not really the best place for me to be....manager was gone so trying To Get my money back today bc I signed up stupidly for a year contract and should have just paid the $20 to workout for one day - yesterday -

Lately I am feeling a bit confused and scared of the present and what's to come in my future as my current job is a bit confusing now and the materiAl for my current assignment makes no Sense at all I'll have to ask someone bow to donit. I am just hating the unknown right now - I like the gym and even that seems a challenge To go to right now bc of schedule change - And soon to be taking a class For The next 10 weeks tonstart on 1/23. Just a lot of change. That class is 1x a week from 5-7 so Another day of getting home late. Life is just a bit confusing.

so i want to be a a court officer but my physical ability is low and it's hard to even work on that...seems like is not as easy as i thought it could be and that money doesn't grow on trees at all.  Seems everything is just SO CONFUSING...typos are bc i type here while on the bus...

i am going to learn to live very modestly bc it seems that's the only thing my brain can work it's way around for now....my apt is expensive it seems in my mind to pay for just by myself...i am sorta scared out of my bones right now...i'm feeling really REALLY desperate to just know how to keep on....i guess i just need to figure out my work for now...here, at this job. freaking scaring the sh*t outta myself right now.

like i should almost live with my parents is how desperate i feel in my heart. things just don't look good. i just realize that being married could have been better at least paying rent-wise...i'm a mess in my thoughts right now. just need to slow down and think of today and not tomorrow. i guess that's all i can do at this very moment.

Life is scary, all you can do is live one day at a time. Don't get discouraged. You have a goal with plans, so just keep working towards that goal and look at work changes as obstacles and keep moving forward. One thing is work is a must to maintain monies for essentials, so I get that. But as I've told my BFF in Oklahoma and my DH, you are trainable! You can learn new things and sometimes you will have to be out of your comfort zone, but you got this!

i just know that i'll never be rich and just scared i'll never have enough money to live normally in life ... but maybe i should go on like most people do - those who aren't rich - the ones in the direct middle - and just live life as it comes as i have been doing. everything scared me but i guess i can just try to keep on...it seems i'm one of the only white women / men even that takes the subway and bus now in the morning...i wonder - how is it that nobody else is riding but me who is white!? have i done so wrong? made so many wrong choices?

all in all, i just feel a bit out of my element as of late based on day to day strange experiences.

I completely understand where you're coming from. Remember when I was freaking out a few months ago, knowing that my husband was going to stop working, and that we'd have to sell the house, etc.? Sadly, I too know that we/I will never be wealthy. I don't really wish for things like that because I'm afraid that I'll come into riches in a way I don't want to! (i.e. being the beneficiary of someone's life insurance policy!)

Please don't judge your financial status according to your fellow commuters. While your observation/conclusion made me smile, I don't think you can make that deduction about others' money situations.

I would encourage you to try not to let your anxiety run amok and keep things in a healthy perspective. Yes, save money if you at all can. Yes, live modestly, as much as you can. But you can't think too far ahead or you'll miss the moments in front of you!

It's definitely not worth it to marry someone you don't love, or to work a brutal job.

I DO AGREE that if you want to be a court officer, you should train SPECIFICALLY for the test. Your goals and parameters are set; now work on meeting the challenge. I'm surprised to read that you feel that your physical ability is so low. Don't let the discouragement from your previous physical test dampen your ambition.

I bet that a lot of this ambivalence about yourself and your future is stemming from not feeling very comfortable at your current assignment...

Today I have plans after work to Not to go straight home - gonna join planet fitness for $10 a month ....it'll actually costly more bc I'll Be spending money on taking the train there after work but it's worth it as I really am Not getting used to coming home to get dressed and driving out to gym....so this is pretty much on my way home with a little extra cardio built in to get there - I need a change ! When my current $50 a month gym membership ends I think around summer, I don't plan to rejoin.

Any gym that is convenient - i.e. on the way, close by, will be a benefit. Too easy to talk oneself out of going if there's any issues getting there. Even for die-hards.

1150.....been sleepy and resting all day - did a little laundry and shoveled the light powder type snow away from my garage - it had been there since Thursday and yesterday I forgot my shovel so I just drove over it lol .... no biggie but it was good to shovel it away so it can melt and be safer to get my car in and out .... it was about 6 inches deep and a width of like 2 feet that needed to be quickly pushed to the side :-)

After 20-30 min walk where I actually did not freeze bc I dressed well: Small alcohol beverage 100 and one fiber one cookie 120

Making my chicken fingers for dinner and hopefully they will come out nice and krispy rather than soggy like last time - I think the problem is they are not supposed to be sprayed with cooking spray. They are Purdue white meat frozen breaded chicken fingers

The snow came Thursday :-) yes! But 6in in New York is considered only a medium amount!

Back to having a cough after a very long gym session and then walking around outside ..very tired.. hoping winter gets easier


In an attempt not to skip gym because i've definitely skipped it often lately due to a cold and the cold, i'm heading for it this morning & by bus. i'd rather not find parking on the snow filled streets or use my car in these frigid temps with older tires and an older car now - so not worth it.

Welcome to the Commuter Life! In my younger years, when I didn't have a car, I was often quite grateful, in fact, that I could rely on public transportation and not worry about the weather, traffic, parking, etc.

Have a wonderful workout! Nothing like a gym session to kick off a weekend!

Yes it's really great how reliable public transport is :-) it makes you more on time to work I think too !

Or at least right now still getting used to public transport I am more on time to work lol - I give the public that takes the transportation such credit - it can be so crowded and sometimes awkward and sometimes gross and also the many times you can't sit when all seats are def taken - and older people and all kinds of people are taking it - says something for the strength of New Yorkers :)

You are welcome ! I usually eat a banana everyday bc I generally have low potassium so they help. But their high sugar always leaves me hungry soon after i eat them I'm always hungry again !
