did not poop before work = sucky start, but i'm happy. reason is mostly that i need to GET UP sooner, and i ate too late last night at 8pm & too much volume = no good to eat high volume at night. i like to end the veggie eating around 6-7pm if i eat dinner at home...anyways.....!

Kombucha: 150 (4 strong cups of the cold brew)

Breakfast: Wrap 60, with extra cream cheese whipped style 150 and salami 130: around 350. 

Coffee also 50 and banana i'll just add 100 here since i overestimated above...ugh...too much thinking this AM!

and a bar also. 200 low carbs, high fat and protein :) all natural, too.


Today's the last day at my old gym...last workout, been there total 3yrs, 3 months! done after today!!!!!!! Cheers to something new on Thursday! - new beginning at a new gym, looking VERY forward to the change of pace, new people to work out alongside, new environment, new everything. Needing it big time! Cannot wait for the change. The longer drive actually has me more excited than not! Instead of being under 10 minutes away in traffic / busy times, my new gym is more like 20 minutes away. WORTH it. It's a few towns over & i do not mind one bit.

The clinetelle at the new gym is a mix of: Italian, European-Jewish, and Asian mostly.

My current gym was a slightly similiar mix, but i think a higher percent for Indian / black (but still low percent). 

Umm, yeah. I think the mix at both gyms is similiar, but maybe more Asian at the new? not sure. we'll see. i think the new is more white...

i don't care what it is, just wouldn't want to be a minority myself at the gym...that's another reason i didn't join the gym where i work - white would be the minority and i don't feel like standing out in that way...if that makes any sense at all.  also, i didn't feel like "driving to work" to go to a gym by work on weekends. Like, how is that a weekend!? lol


it's gonna be a really cool week!

lunch: lighter side of a stew - tofu, lil bit of potatoes, and cabbage / broccoli mix in a tomato broth (leftover veggie soup from last Monday, mixing the tofu in)....400 cal for lunch.

1250 before leaving work, before gym.

snack before gym: raspberries 120, maybe that's it...and caffeine...last day at my old gym :) AND i think a granola bar also...sounds like too much 100...i may just skip out on the caffeine.


happy about resting tomorrow night (no activities after work that's for sure!)

Tuesday no gym, Wednesday is a HUGE concert after work - Beyonce at Citifield Stadium which is only 20 or so min from me!) going with my best friend from White Plains & she'll probably drive back up that night,

Thursday day off thankfully and new gym!......I am tired and in my head making excuses to go to my old gym Thursday (that's the exact day the membership expires, but i actually planned to have the day off partially to go to the new gym...so i may as well!)..

I wrote about Saturday in my previous entry. 

Today is finishing up small amount of laundry, trying for a small food shopping (don't want to spend $), and then seeing a movie by myself in the late afternoon so i don't have to listen to music blasting from the street fair.

7:30am: kombucha, followed later by popcorn 150

9:30am big, tasty breakfast: oatmeal made with oats 80, egg whites 100, vanilla protein powder by Quest 100, water, stevia, cinnamon: around 300. topped with sugar free jelly and peanut butter 200 most. total here is around 500 at most. yum.

11:30am: whole package bacon jerky 330

3pm caffeine and lots of tasty veggies 200.

around 1850-1900 total, good. 

2-day average: 1950, good.

Saturday turned out being awesome. I slept in (sleeping pill) and slept in sorta too late. I had to text my two friends asking them to meet up at 12:30 for brunch instead of 12 because i slept in even past my alarm. But all was good & nobody cared about the half hour change.

Food was great. I indulged and so did everyone. I even had a scoop of green tea ice cream! 

Then my friend that has a son split off and went home with him. And i continued to hang out with my good friend Renee. We went to a mall i have not been to. It's sorta small, but had the stores we both like - Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, Target. I had actually wanted to go to target to get a couple t-shirts so we did as we walked thru. I also picked up really cool flavored seltzers that i haven't seen before (and no aspartame in these, they are the natural type!) - flavors like pineapple! yeah! totally new.

My friend Renee is very easy going. She didn't mind going to mall with me & she had fun too. It was mostly me shopping (buying things), but then she admitted she had went to Costco / Target the day before with her fiance so she didn't need much haha.

Also at Target, i bought some new protein bars, a cool Samoa girl scout flavored 100 cal granola bars by Quaker, two different cool flavored seltzers like i told you about earlier, two t-shirts (one was on sale for $3 and the other was like $15 - and they will last me! they are cute feminine with a nice design on the front!), oh and i bought a pillow because i have been wanting to buy pillows for a long time (they only had one left in the type i wanted so since i have 3 pillows on my bed, i figured, i'd buy one and test it out and wait to buy the rest...). i think that's all i bought at target.

And Bath and Body Works it was a sale of buy 3, get 3 free. I also had a coupon for an additional FREE full size product. I bought in total 7 (four were FREE) body scrubs. They should last me a VERY long time and i'll try not to use more than i need in the shower. I bought the scrubs because they are quite excellent. I have a slight condition on my upper arms that is pretty common called keratosis polaris - it's just small bumps on the back of the arms. And believe it or not, i've tried many scrubs and stuff. I also have a Rx cream i do use many days (sometimes i take a few days off using it and just use lotion) on the back on my arms after a shower. anyways, in the shower, turns out, the bath and body works scrubs have actually basically cured the back of the arms problem! yeah. these scrubs are very nourishing / soothing. they worked. so now i have a TON. So now, i love Bath and Body works for their 3-wick candles and i'm a scrub convert. While the scrubs are pricey, i'm willing to pay for a product that yields results that can be seen and enjoyed!

Lastly, actually we went there first, we went to Old Navy at the mall. Lots of deals and I had a $35 rewards to use there. YES! $35 free! So i bought my dad 2 shirts for father's day because i really liked the design. Just cotton shirts. I also bought him some boxers (as a joke!) to wear as PJ's as he does at home with my mom about a month ago. I was going to also buy him a pair of inexpensive summer really nice looking casual summer loafer-type shoes but i didn't feel like spending an additional $25 for them when he may not even find them comfortable to wear...and i bought myself one nice, pink top for work. In all, I used my $35 free money in Old Navy and only had to pay $5 out of pocket.

Brunch for me was around $40, totally treated myself. Target was around $60 - but all the items will last awhile. Old Navy was $5. and Bath & Body works was also pricey around $50 but the items should last MANY MANY months. and so you have it, i spent a lot yesterday but in all honesty, it was money well spend in my book!

I will just have to be more conservative the rest of this month, which should be pretty simple....lol...i just can't buy any more clothes...that's fine :)...

and then, i was at the gym last night starting at 7pm. good job to me. i would have liked to have been there a couple hours earlier, but, it was more fun spending time with Renee. So..no regrets.  Monday night will be my last time at my gym before switching over to the gym that is around 3x as far away, but worth it. Happy for a gym change. new folks, new equipment...good stuff. I start at the new place this Thursday (actually taking off work that day because i'm going to a concert the night before & also just wanted the day off to check out new gym & put $ on my laundry card and anything else that needs to be done!)....

and today - Sunday - there's a street fair that's going to happen - very loud and noisy. I'm actually going to a movie in the afternoon so that i can be out of this area. i would have probably just stayed home all day - but the music from the street fair is going to be obnoxious and loud, all day...so i'm getting out of here! it's kiddie - i have no kids and i'd rather relax (doing minimal laundry since i did most of it friday night!) and see a movie. oh, and buy minimal groceries too - don't need to buy as much because Thursday i'm off (so i can get prepared & go food shopping on that day also - and not have to worry about being prepared for 5 full days of groceries for work..only 3 till Wednesday!).

Extremely tired, but chugging thru the day. not feeling good & happy i stil have food at home for after work. I will NOT be going anywhere tomorrow i don't think except the gym at night. laundry i think maybe both days Sat & Sun - i have too much because friend slept over & stuff..really, really tired day.

550 in morning, all healthy but a lot of caffeine. extra fat and stuff & protein...

i may have a snack before lunch or early lunch. just very tired - heavy head & all.. 

light coconut protein bar 150

700 before lunch, good.

1200 after lunch, lots of veggies, some turkey deli meat. caffeine. need to buy seltzer and tissues on the weekend!

snacks and dinner: lb strawberries 150, tons of cooked veggies 200, light toasted coconut ice cream 150. 500, good..


And a natural high protein bar 200. Total today is 1900.

Weekly average is 1810, excellent !! !! !! Doing good.


i am looking for change in my life but at the same time, i want certian things to stay the same...i want that guy - i want to be able to call him "mine" and for him to refer to me as "his"... even if not typical live-with-each-other type of relationship...i know he likes me very much, he SHOWED me...his part...he let me feel it in my hand...it was throbbing...sorry to anyone with Virgin ears...but that's all i did with him, my friend was downstairs...we didn't really do anything...he just showed me how he feels for me physically...and weirdly i didn't even push for more...actualyl i couldn't and that was prob the reason...he's a real idiot, i'd say.  an idiot bc he's pissing me off that he can't even text me at all right now, when it's obvious he DOES like me too.  he's such a freaking scared 45 yr old i can't take him sometimes.

Good time at the circus, wrote about it in previous entry. was worth going :) and having coworker sleep over.

I'll catch up on sleep tonight i think - very tired! but very worth it.  i didn't sleep well and actually had major stomach issues and heartburn. i don't know why. probably from eating way too fast dinner.

8am Breakfast at work: bigger banana 150?, wrap 60 with ½ small avocado 150 and salami 100 – 460

710, is ok, better to eat extra right now, busy week.

Cirucs was very nice. Def worthy of adult viewing and not only for kids! Lots of acrobatics and things that only super-fit and super-talented people can do. It was very worth watching & funny too.  It was a nice time with my coworker friend, we enjoyed a too-fast dinner which actually gave me a stomachache, gas, and heartburn last night. I almost NEVER get heartburn - and this sorta scares me...so...thinking on this positive, it was a great night! I didn't sleep great, but it was so worth it. I'm glad she came with me. She slept over, left very early around 5:30am, so i am now already relaxing on the couch now & drinking my kombucha (typical morning! yay!). she was a great guest...

going to circus today...dinner with coworker as well, circus after.

she's actually sleeping over so she doesn't have to drive 2hrs home starting around 9pm when circus is done...i could NOT make her do the drive, so wrong!

Around 2200 (indulged in a bigger dinner, some garlic naan from the Indian place too) 2200 I think at most. Fine. 1792 5-day avg - gonna be a good week. and a banana before bed...and somehow heartburn that caused me to take 4 tums last night? wth. must have been the spinach saag from the Indian place. weird that i got such heartburn...could have also been nerves? or the stevia drink i had late at night? weird! or that i was just really hungry before bed and the banana wasn't a good choice? stomach still bothers me...but everything should be better in a little while (writing this again in the morning, 6am).

thank you...i am working towards staying more in control and aware of my choices.

I am enjoying learning more about myself and continuing to eat in a more moderate calorie way so i can stay leaner and not regain the weight i lost for my sister's wedding.

it feels good to make the choice to stay on track!

8:30am: Double Chocolate "Mighty Muffin" by Flapjacked. 220 (high protein & fiber)

total so far: around 300, good. 

10:30-noon Beef Jerky 3 servings 150, chips 2 240 servings, and caffeine (Monster Energy Zero cal Ultra, if you want to know...over a period of 2 hrs): 400 :)

late meal: veggies galore, some sauteed in sauce. i am talking like at least 6 cups of veggies now..300 or so. and a light drink....got a headache, really tired.

3:30pm: natural bar 200

5:30pm: banana 120, popcorn 100, yogurt 110: 330

1530 cal, blech. feeling like everything's too sweet...need to pot the plants, being lazy. need to read and still haven't! and it's 5:30pm lol...

Protein bar 180.

Total today: 1710, excellent 3dAy avg = 1740 :)


Doing laundry & gonna read a little bit. only plans today are get my health reimbursement bills together (which are actually in disarray! which hardly ever happens since i like to usually turn these bills in quicker but i guess i was really busy up until now with wedding & lol - recovery - that only now i'm taking care of these bills (some are like 2 months old - not that it matters, but usually i'll at least record everything and keep it neat unlike this time where the receipts are still in the prescription medicine bags they came in!? all thrown into the bottom of my closet - yes a mess!),

.....laundry - i'll be done before 10am, food shopping (close by and for all prepared stuff & i plan to go early around noon to get a choice of the best & not miss out - i'm chilling today). also call my friend. but this is IT!...oh, and i need to pot the two herb plants i bought at Home Depot yesterday (i bought a cilantro plant & a stevia plant!)

So all in all - i want to finish everything i need to do by 1pm.

i finally got off my lazy butt yesterday and potted them...very messy job....but at least the are in pots now. ...

we'll see how long they last.

8am Breakfast: lots of strawberries to start 100, oatmeal 100 with egg whites 100 and cinnamon / nutmeg / stevia and extra, extra whipped peanut butter 250. total here: 550, very good, lots of fiber, filling.

snack: dark chocoate 50

1pm light lunch: extremely lite ice cream with extra stevia that i add drops onto the ice cream as i eat it.. bc its very bland ice cream. 150 cal for a pint!...followed by leftover veggie stuff in fridge and a couple bites of bacon and chips. 250 more.

1,000...low calorie day...-goal is 15001600

3pm: banana 120

Before gym more chips 130, energy drink 40 and granola bar 100 1400 :)

8pm after gym: lite soft serve ice cream around 100, Quest chocolate protein bar 170, and some fruit 30. around 300.

around 1700, good :)

2-day avg is 1750, excellent.


well, now this is the first relaxed day of the long weekend.  I do have some things i do need to do - thankfully - bc sitting home all day will not be good today!

10am - picking up a face wash from this lady's home! she works at my derm and said i can pick it up from her this weekend since i couldn't make it in on Friday to pick it up! (what a nice woman!)

After I pick up the face wash, i'm going to Home Depot to pick up some light bulbs & also a couple small cactus plants for myself & one for my best friend.

Home in the afternoon.

Gym today...I'm thinking in the afternoon before dinner.

115.6 :). This morning's weight! Kombucha and coconut water 100 Chips 150, cucumber salad 100, tomatoes 100, peppers 150 600.

lunch / snacking: bacon jerky 330, plum 70., caffeine Bai drink in a really cool coconut raspberry i think it was? flavor. AWESOME.


Dinner: healthy & at most was 800.

total today: prob not more than 1800. GOOD.

was at beach with my best friend & it was GREAT :)
